Quick notes for this thread. I am building a School of how to RP and understanding the rules here.  Basically the rules I set is have a basic character idea or theme ready to go and I will help shape him her or it into the character you want. When I get access to a real computer I will make this thread a detail what I expect and notes on how to improve. Additionally this locale will be a training and battle area that is OOC to develop your individual styles.

Anyways over the course of the next few weeks I am going to lay the foundation of what this school will teach in RPing. I will start another thread at this time for your IC introductions and we will develop from there together. 

An entrance into a thread is a very important part of RPing here as it sets the stage for what you have and who you are. There is no hard and fast right way and the only wrong way really is to god mod in my opinion. Even the lowest D Class non ninja can look cool if handled right. Its not about power or training but the story that one builds with their character. 

I will help people with their combat as well but that isn't the focus. The arena does good if people want OOC spars. The haunted isle academy is here to join in a story and get a feel for how you want your character to be.

' Awesome. I am seeking on obtaining experience on creative writing and utilizing my character Chiya'Qida as an outlet. Hopefully, this will inspire and aspire us to advance our characters personification and overall roleplay style for individualized Evolution.

' Thus far Chiya sees herself as a Cleric, her honor being bound towards her skill in the Keikijutzu; The mystical art of restoration. Other than, she is a freespirited thinker. Her mind is pensive, consciously panning and dancing with the waves of the universe. I kinda hope on roleplaying her astronomical spectrum with what she thinks of her beliefs and how that gifts reaction with both the zenith and her environment. Other than, she is spacy, aloof, and vividly dreamy. In all, I kinda want to combine her different perspectives of the Divine, being that it is a source of her healing, with her pursuit of wisdom from the stars, kindling her lore driven in the twilight whilst persisting insight from her intuitional sources. 

Only question, where do we start?

I would like to take advantage of this also, since I really need some practice with character development.


Basically, I set up Masar to be this quiet, intense, closed off person that is searching for answers for why he was abandoned first by his parents, then his mentor. Honestly, the main purpose behind him was so I could get some practice and learn the mechanics, but I would enjoy trying to push him somewhere, as he is kinda a blank slate at this point.

As a follow up, when I release my academy school I would like people's best idea for how their character would be introduced to the environment I am building. Here I will work with you all to figure out how to improve it until it is something you like and can use.

I begin traveling through the plains of bioluminescent reeds from the crystalline forest, within the Scirocco's wind form before solidifying outside the academy's gates. Gently, I unveil my silver hair and eyes from my shimmering white cowl, enlaced with golden roses, seeking the Academy's leader for initiation and entrance.

Yes I will. This one of my Alternate characters. And for me RPing is abou storylines more than just battling.

Ah ok, so do I have to travel there in some way? Like do I have to be in a certain area to be able to access it?

Not at all. This is a OOC channel that doesnt count to anything but people's learning. Now the IC thread is out of sync with the rst of the universe basically. Do what you will it is just for everyone to kearn and doesnt count towards anything.

Ok, just one thing I really need to know, what is the honor system and how does it work

The honor system isnt really a system but an application to us as the players to be fair to others and not try to exploit holes just to screw over others.

How come? Do the staff control this?

Not quite. The staff do moderate to a degree but individual actions and reactions are just that individual and up to the two parties to co exist.
