It would be a cool summer afternoon with the sun just beginning to set.Two large forests came to the opening of a small open field with a cliff just leading off down towards a green lake.Soft green summer grass would be growing here and the fresh smell of earth came from the ground. Akuma would be sitting in meditation with his sword in his lap. He was wearing his hair up with a dark grey head band,he had his long sleeve black clasp shirt on under his sleeveless high collar blue trench coat,he had on his grey shorts with bandages coming down from his knees to ankles as well as bandages covering his lower face and his hidden mist head band around his neck.He was sitting peacefully sensing all the charkra around him in a mile radius sensing small animals and bugs,he would remain peacefully sitting there unless something or some one provoked him.
(ooc. Here are some pointers. You should next time say where you are in relation to everything. Are there trees around? How far are they from you? How big is this Arena?
A BIG mistake you made was this... You didn't post all your items. Anything you don't mention in the starting post can not be used in combat. Shuriken. Knives. Bombs. Swords etc.
Because you didn't do this your opponent has the option to decide all of this within reason on his next post. As well as how far away from you he is. Second post always gets to attack first. First post cannot attack but cat set the scenery. )
Kimimaru activates his eyes allowing him to see his opponent sitting in the middle a clearing. He would quickly close the distance and attack, with two tags wrapped around his Kunai. He would aim the first of negative energy at the foot of his enemy and the second just five feet beyond the enemy.

Hold up guys before you get into the dynamics of battle. So each attack or Defense should have at least a good paragraph detailing it. 5-6 sentence range. You guys should have as much detail as you can think of in a fight. It becomes very import as the fight drags on.
Contra The Cat Sith and Neosis the Dread Raven Handseals: 80 Handseal reduction: 1/4 Movements: 8 Strife Pool: 9 Will: 14 (+7 against fear, + 3 vs Necromancy, + 2 vs Mind Affecting, +2 Vs Undead) Fortitude: 6 (+2 vs Undead) Armour Points: 130 Natural Armor: 3 +4 vs. Chakra Jutsus & Chakra-like effects, 20 DR vs Chakra Techniques
Building off of what Tech said. Think of it like this... The more sentences of REAL tactics and REAL intricacy of the attack the more your opponent needs to dodge and block to make it happen. Example... Tom and George are in a fight. If Tom writes a short attack like.
"Tom swung his sword around at Georges head."
George would need only write.
"George brought his sword up to block the incoming swing."
And the attack would be more then likely to be considered blocked.
Example B
"Tom watched his opponents eyes looking to see if he was trying to anticipate the attack. Tom shifted his weight before taking three long strides at George. Gripping his blade in a white knuckle grip Tom spun around feinting a sweep at his opponents legs. The attack would seem telegraphed and easy to react to. But this swing was just a clever ruse to get him to move his sword and react. Stopping mid swing Tom twisted the blade around and thrusted his blade in a twisting motion at his heart."
If george only wrote.
"George saw the feint coming and didn't fall for it. He waited for the second attack and blocked it."
More then likely the battle moderator or GM would choose Toms paragraph. As it clearly showed more effort. More detail. More work. More skill in the attack.
Kimi had been sent out on a scouting mission, just to test his skills and to see how far he had come. The clan had sent him deep into the mountains to a cave system about thirty miles outside of the village. It was here that he found himself deep in the cave with an odd sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. He felt watched as if someone where there in the shadows ready to strike at him at any time. He looked around and centered himself activating his eyes looking around.
He was in a 100x100 meter cave. The ceiling extents above him for a good 40 meters, with stalagmites stretching from floor to ceiling. Some of these columns where 3 to 4 meters thick, most had between 5 and 10 meters between them. He stands in a 15 meter clearing in the center of the cave. Just beneath him is a pool of water 10 meters in diameter, he is calmly watching his surrounding expecting an attack.
He wears a light shirt and pants died a deep maroon. His cloak is reversible black on the inside and crimson on the outside. On his hands he wears metal and leather ceatus. The metal is died black were as the leather is died maroon. He wears a black tactical vest covered in pouches to store his tools. He has two quick loader pouches just above his waist on each side, his last quick loader is at his mid back on the right side. His Kunai holder is at the small of his back. He keeps his sickles are sheathed at his back for easy reach. His greaves are also metal and leather, died in the same pattern as his ceatus. They reach just above the knee to the top of the ankle, they do not impede his movements at all.

They may have an attached hood, and may cover and fasten down the front, in which case they have holes or slits for the hands to pass through. However, cloaks are almost always sleeveless. Cloaks give a +10 to Sleight of Hand when worn. Cloaks can have special straps stitched in place, allowing the Cloak to stay fluid and not be bogged down. 1 Cloak may have up to 10 of these Straps. Much better but before Upgrade posts. I would like to see you describe your character and what and more importantly how he is wearing his clothes and equipment. Its better than just listing it in a spoiler.
Contra The Cat Sith and Neosis the Dread Raven Handseals: 80 Handseal reduction: 1/4 Movements: 8 Strife Pool: 9 Will: 14 (+7 against fear, + 3 vs Necromancy, + 2 vs Mind Affecting, +2 Vs Undead) Fortitude: 6 (+2 vs Undead) Armour Points: 130 Natural Armor: 3 +4 vs. Chakra Jutsus & Chakra-like effects, 20 DR vs Chakra Techniques
What tech says. Being specific about your your gear and where it is keeps you from being fucked over by the moderator by something we call "batmanning" your gear. For instance.
Dave simply said he had X Y Z of items on him. Dave some how gets his entire left side of his body crushed under a bolder. But dave has a scroll that can rewind him 20 seconds back in time. Sadly... dave has 12 pouches. He says it JUST HAPPENS to be in his right hip pocket. His entire characters life.... whether he lived or died in that encounter comes down to whether or not the Game Master believes him and take his word that it happened to be on that side of his hip.
Now... your entire fate is determined by someones opinion of you... kinda risky eh?
I personally do something like this with my gear. I never post it like this but it helps to have and reference to.

At the far back of the cave kimi could sense a strong chakra and it was growing and getting close,he was barely visible but Akuma walked forward, his foot steps silent though he wasent trying ti sneak at all. Akuma has a Pointed face with a pointed chin and nose as well as his strong jawline. Akumas skin is very pale and smooth and keeps his face covered with fresh Gauss he replaces daily from the bottom of his neck up to the border line of his lower face,to conceal his identity and also hide the scars he was given from long days of training and abuse from others. He has coarse straight pitch black hair that grows wildly,he doesn't tend to cut it unless he's told to.He wears a dark gray linen head band to hold his hair up with tatterd ends form years of wear and tear.He tends to have a blank look on his face life less even and because of that many have called him strange or 'weird'. Akuma has light blue eyes that sometimes seem like hes staring directly staring into your soul.He wears his Mist village head ban wrapped around the base of his neck like a necklace. His body is skinny yet very muscular he wears an under layer of bandages around his ribs and from his knees down to his ankles.Over top that is his black clasp long sleeve jacket. He also wears grip pad gloves with the fingers cut out and a steel plate on top of that for some protection. Finally he wears a sleeveless high collar blue trench coat with a large black stripe running up the back of his trench jacket up to the back of the collar and around the border of it.He wears light gray cargo shorts with tough leather knee pads to help him slide on his knees. He wears bandages from his knees down to his ankles and finally black shinobi combat boot sandals on his feet. Akuma has a long Nodachi sheath on his left hip he uses to carry 'Demon eater his Main weapon he's had since birth, past down through his family line. The sheath itself was ounce a midnight black shining sheath but now after years of use it is marked up and breaking down in desperate need of refurbishing, but all that matters to Akuma is the blade it holds.
He gave a groan popped his back and began dashing at kimi closing the distance between them very quickly, his feet and body were a blur of movement as he dashed towards him so fast yet every step he took was silent. He started off keeping his eyes locked with kimi even as he slashed a stingly shallow slash across kimis shoulder to hip then a deep mortally wounding cleave down on kimis chest IF he didn't move or block it.It was obvious Akuma wasen't going to give any mercy.

Not bad upgrade. Great personal description and decent attack. Now some pointers for reference. One we do have soul magic and chakra sensing techniques on this site. So in the future either use those techniques or your using a Mark I eyeball. Next according to great sword it can only be carried on the back unless you meant a different weapon it wouldn't be on your hip.
How fast are you moving? I know a blur but is that ten meters or fifty? Mind you that you are ninja so everything isn't simple. Also mind your surroundings. Thera posted first and set the surroundings. Your in a underground forest essentially. So mind the columns.
Notes for Thera's response. Unless he uses a technique to grant him silence you can potentially hear him. Its a Stealth skill vs Observation Skill.

Kimi hears his enemy charging at him full on not even trying to hide in the least. It was then that he knew his enemy wanted to kill him, that no mercy could be shown or given. He let the enemy get within striking distance of him, as that happened he stepped forward inside the weapons range. He drew both of his sickles from his back, as he draws them he grips the both in a back handed grip. He would then support the left hand and sickle right wrist creating a craddle with the blades. He would use this to catch the sword a foot up from the handle, as he catches the blade he would then use the force of the blades locking to slide the larger blade off to the left.
As the larger blade clears both blades of his sickles he would the rush past his enemy. He would aim his right sickle for the lower stomach on the left side, slashing out through the side. He would aim the left sickle for just below the arm, starting at the chest and slashing through just under the armpit. He would let the his movement carry him 20 to 30 meter away. When he had cleared his enemy he would throw a kunai back aiming for the left ankle.
When he cleared the 20 meters at a minimum he would then turn and detenate the explosive tag of negative energy. Which he had wrapped around his Kunai. As it explodes he would enter his fighting stance and wait.

As soon as kimi caught his sword and threw his direction off to the left Akuma Quickly Would twit the handle quickly putting his blade into a mid level position at a downward 40'degree angle catching the sickles blades before they could catch his side in time enough for only the tip of one to graze his side he braced the back of his blade with his left hand throwing his weight left using Kimis own force against him opening up Kimis guard,Akuma quickly took this advantage to slam the flat pommel of his sword into Kimi's nose stunning him for a solid 3 seconds and giving Kimis a bloody nose if it wasn't broken after that Akuma spun around to the right with a quickly timed foot pivot slashing deep and twice one being while pivoting,an upwards vertical angle against Kimis right ribs/abdomen the second would be at the end of the pivot with Akuma bringing the blade around in a horizontal slash in attempt to leave a deep large open gash mark in Kimis back.

Okay question and review time. First the questions.
Upgrade how much TP did you spend to have it at B rank? because from my understanding you guys had barely any time to train and you have to train the lower versions before you get to B.
Now Review much better both of you. Thera mind that your particular choice left the battle in my hands because I had to judge how good a strike would happen. Dangerous in other battles but worked in this case. Upgrade much better detail but do forget everything is an attempt until the other party accepts the damage. There are ways of making it so they must accept but don't count on it until they either do or a BM says they do.
Basically such has happen for sure.
Akuma swung Great sword at Kimi. Kimi Blocked with cupped Sickles, and tried to dash past making an attempt to cut. Akuma broke the block by twisting blade and attemoted to bash pummel into Kimi. That is what has been accepted. Thera your post reacting to not being able to dash past and a pommel being aimed at your face.
Go...
Contra The Cat Sith and Neosis the Dread Raven Handseals: 80 Handseal reduction: 1/4 Movements: 8 Strife Pool: 9 Will: 14 (+7 against fear, + 3 vs Necromancy, + 2 vs Mind Affecting, +2 Vs Undead) Fortitude: 6 (+2 vs Undead) Armour Points: 130 Natural Armor: 3 +4 vs. Chakra Jutsus & Chakra-like effects, 20 DR vs Chakra Techniques
Kimi was impressed with the quickness of the block, but he would use the block to his advantage. When the edge of the great sword caught his sickles he would use that force to turn him body. He turned so the he was facing the flat of the blade directly, he would bring his sickles up to his face blades out. He would then focus his chakra into his feet, but instead of sticking to the blade he would do the opposite. He waited till his enemy pushed the blade left and used that force combined with his focused chakra to jump away from the intended attack. If he failed to dodge the strike he would catch the handle, he would try to catch the hands of his enemy.
He aimed himself for the largest column behind him, he would land there about 20 meters away and stick to the column. As he came to a halt he would throw four Kunai two wrapped with negative explosive tags and two wrapped with radiant explosive tags. The first of the negative tagged kunaiwas thrown toward his leg. The second one thrown was a radiant tagged kunai, aimed just 2 meters above his head. The third was a negative tagged Kunai thrown 3 meters behind the enemy. The final thrown was a radiant tagged Kunai just 2 meters to his right. As the tags reached there marks he would detonate them around his enemy.

Akuma would almost instinctively jump off to the left a good 15 meters he still throughout this kept eye contact with kimi a bit impressed that Kimi was able to survive this long against him. Akuma took a new stance one with his sword held vertically and he seemed as though he was prepared to fight from all directions. "Hmm,your good with your range ill give you that, but how many more of those damn kunai do you have left 5? at most 6? I wont lie after this battle im taking those eyes of yours."

As his opponent went to jump away Kimi detonated the Kunai just mila-seconds after each other. The first two he detonated first then allowed the second the two to get close then he detonated.
