we already do this to a degree with kedoin being treated as relicts and proten as cursed

but i was thinking we should treat hozuki, sadojin, and scirocco as elemental creatures.

specifically of the water, earth, and wind subtypes respectively.

your thoughts?

No, keeping them as humans. I see no merit to make them elemental.

is there some kind of demerit to it? because if its a sum zero shift, theres no reason not to in order to better fit with their lore.

I still see them as humans honestly for human sake and weaknesses and strengths. If I alter them to Elementals there may be something that comes out that will stop them from going into.

What like Summoning?

Speaking of which they should be allowed into summoning. Bloodless pact is a thing, and you can use someone else's blood in the meantime as long as its fresh. And we can use Heart Stones to preserve freshness long-term. Cool beans.

After this they need only offer an additional donation of blood on the hand they signed the contract with, mold their chakra with hand seals and then plant the hand they signed the contract with at the location they wish to summon the creature.

Would it change the rules to make them human but have a subtype as the elemental or what ever?

Elemental isn't a sub type, either you are an elemental or not.

Cursed also isn't a type, or a sub type. It's a condition, which is why it is applicable because you gain that condition. It is not a type nor a subtype.
