Greetings Everyone and welcome to the 2017 Advent Calendar. Today is December 9th, which means Days 9 and 10 of the Advent Calendar and the theme for today (If you couldn't see the big letters above) Is Snowman! Yes, the lovely creations made of snow, usually with sticks for arms/hand, buttons for... buttons, a carrot for the nose, and a lovely top hat. And of course... whatever you can make a face out of. In some instances, snowmen are designed in all kinds of ways! But for this, I have an interesting image and I want to see what sort of funny joke or whatever kind of caption out of it. That's right, a classic caption contest. Can you make me laugh, or cry, or cringe, or whatever emotion fits it with your caption?

Here are the rules for this event!

[li]This is a one part event. 1) Create some sort of caption to go along with the picture linked for you. You can either edit the caption on the picture itself or just send it in text form. Whichever way you feel like doing it is up to you!
[/li][li]Here is the picture for you to create your caption on. (LINK)[/li][li]This is a Submission Event! This means that all entries into this event are to be PMed to Gift Giver . The thread will be locked until the voting phase begins.
[/li][li]This is a TWO DAY EVENT! That means that 48 hours from the time of posting, this event can be closed. Will it be closed immediately after that point? Nope! The thread isn't closed until I say that it is. So if I haven't posted saying it's closed, you can submit! However, each day is for something separate. The first day is for submissions, the second day is for voting. So submissions will only be accepted in the first 24 hours.
[/li][li]As it says above, voting will be done to decide the winners. After the first 24 hours, I will post the submissions. After that, another 24 hours will be given for the site to vote on what they think is the best designed candy cane.[/li][li]There is no limit on length here. If you want to tell a little story, go ahead. If you want to do a little small quote, that's up to you. Whatever length you want to put on is fine by me. Just remember that the members on site are voting for this!

I will give you an extension equal to the amount of time you were waiting on me to respond. Now for the fun part... The prize! The prize for Day 9/10's event is... a mystery! Yep, keeping this one hidden (Most will be like this). However, I will say there is a First, Second, and Third place prize here. The voting is what will determine that. There will also be a participation prize just for submitting. And, as with all events, a chance to win one of five grand prize packages at the end of the event. Plus, remember that you have to participate in all events to receive a special prize package at the end! So go out there and send in your wonderful captions!

The Voting has Ended!

That's right! All of the voting has ended! And with the votes ended, the results can be revealed. But first... What are the prizes? Well... Seeing as Snowmen have to be built, I'm providing Components to build your own house, base, castle, or whatever you want really! If you happen to go over the allowed amount, the rest will have to come from your account. Don't want the components? That's fine, you can take the amount as Ryo. BUT! If you do that, the Ryo amount is halved! So the choice is up to you!

Remember! If you don't care for the Components, you can take the Ryo instead, but the Ryo amount will be halved! It's either the components or the Ryo!

Description: Fine polished shelves extend from this chamber’s tile or wooden floor to the ceiling above. Several ladders allow access to upper shelves. Several small tables scattered throughout the place allow researchers space to work. This library can hold up to 3 different lots of books on specific subjects. For example, it could contain books on religion, chakra lore, and the mathematics. Purchase reference books as extras (see the Books sidebar), and if you need a greater capacity, purchase this component multiple times.
