    Inoryu perceived his chakra with closed eyes. He had first attempted to significantly raise the frequency of the glamour due to his hypothesis that the glamour was of a higher frequency. The result was that the glamour and his network seemed to repel each other. Yet, he sensed that his genjutsu was still effective. It was another discovery; that the chakra could repel each other so that they remained completely separated. He understood that his hypothesis was false as it resulted in the opposite of the desired effect. 
    He dismissed the glamour and weaved the hand seals again with the same conditions. This time he hypothesized that the glamour chakra was significantly higher and he would soften the chakra proportionately. The result was that the chakra began to intertwine, but only at the very minimum. Inoryu was confused that his theories were false and the results were inconclusive. "What else can I do?" he wondered. 
    Another theory that suddenly manifested in his mind, was that his chakra network was either operating at a much higher or lower frequency. He wondered if he could affect his body in such a way and decided to give it a shot. He weaved the hand seals again and this time he lowered the frequency of his body. He observed the results and was astonished at what he found. He truly was capable of affecting the frequency of his body, and the result was a significant amount of chakra mingling together. He dismissed the genjutsu and repeated it, this time lowering the frequency of his body further. The result was a complete coalescence of the two energies.

    Inoryu wanted to test his theory on a higher level genjutsu. He dismissed the selective invisibility jutsu and weaved a more complicated series of twelve hand seals for the greater invisibility jutsu. At first he did nothing but merely perceive the interaction of the two chakra natures. The more potent glamour seemed to 'capture' the energy of his body in infinitesimal quantities. Inoryu decided to start with his previous theory, that the glamour chakra is working at a lower frequency than his chakra network. 
    He dismissed the jutsu and weaved through the twelve hand seals again, all the while significantly lowering the frequency of his body. Rather than the glamour capturing his chakra, they at once coalesced completely. Suddenly, Inoryu realized that this could be the true method of coalescing genjutsu influencing his own person every time. He dismissed the genjutsu and started again with the original invisibility jutsu. He significant lowered the frequency of his body and at once there was a union between it and the glamour. 
    The chunin applied his theory to the swift invisibility and selective invisibility jutsus and was met with overwhelming success. He didn't need proof of the effect on his genjutsu as he could see in the intricate workings of it himself that they were more convincing. He knew that he could apply this method to every genjutsu that targets the self and find it to be successful. He took a break, wondering what else he might improve upon with his head back facing the canopy of the dense woodland.

Description: Affects anyone who sees the user. The user is able to perform this technique by touching themselves. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 hours per class level. Those who see the are unable to recognize them later and all descriptions of them are vague and useless. User does not draw any unwarranted attention while affected by the Jutsu. If the user performs an action while disguised that attracts attention (such as breaking into a home, killing someone, etc.), all those within 20 meters (10 meters in poorly light situations) are allowed a save to peer through the illusion. Success indicates that the user is recognized for who they are.
Limit: Must know the Glamour Perception.

    Since having focused on improving his glamours, he naturally proceeded with the practice. He had the idea to use the glamour perception to 'wash away' any distinguishable facial features to further enhance his stealth capabilities. As someone who has been making great strides in improvement, it helped that he took some time to finesse his technique. He was knowledgeable with the glamour perception as it has been a main study of his since childhood, though he could admit to himself he wasn't as practiced as he should. An easy jutsu such as 'Faceless' would at least be a step with the perception.
    He had the theory and knowledge to weave two simple hand seals necessary for the jutsu. He siphoned a small amount of chakra to the technique and with a pat on his forearm, the glamour started to take effect. His disguise was made even more potent with the two glamours working in tandem. Not only was he in the form of someone he manifested in his imagination, but now his facial features were utterly mundane. Had anyone seem him now, they wouldn't even take a second glance and any recollection of him would prove vague useless.
    Inoryu's vast knowledge of genjutsu would pay off with a successful first attempt. It was a jutsu that was natural for him and took no effort at all. It was a supplementary jutsu that he knew would come in handy on missions and it reinforced his ideal of stealth. It was so simple, yet so valuable a jutsu and imagined this step was far greater an improvement than he initially thought.

    Inoryu exited The Meadows to retrieve something from his house; scrolls that were lent to him by his former Ninja Academy teacher, Densho Kirigaki. Upon his return, he entered into the second training area thinking that the open setting would be ideal to be able to observe the effects of the wind release. He had begun reading the scrolls a week before hand and have been studying them persistently, and due to his mastery of genjutsu, he already had a grasp on the principle of the hand seals and was able to simplify them accordingly. 

    To begin is practice, he first meditated. The scrolls touched upon a unification, resonating with the wind in order to fully harness its power. One thousand times Inoryu has meditated and the wind had comforted him, as if nature herself was showing solidarity. Inoryu had gotten to know the wind well as it was always a force that the Yamanaka had resonated with, he had grown to love the wind. The metaphysical embodiment of the wind was as natural to him as breathing. 

    He meditated now, finally answering the call of nature. He embodied the wind in every aspect. The air was so much more than just mere existence, it was also life. As he breathed, his soul quickened. He was finally choosing the wind, as the wind has chose him. In this instant, something happened. The air that was present began to resonate with his chakra. By the marriage of his chakra and the air, he knew that from now on the air around him would always aid him.

    As Inoryu meditated, he observed the new relationship between the air and his chakra. It seemed that the air itself moved to the user's needs. He felt that the air was a small buffer against damage. Alone it seemed impotent, but when wearing armor could prove more practical. He imagined his umbral armor gaining further resistance to attacks and was pleased, but he could sense that there was more to this connection.
    He was patient as he meditated to unlock the secrets of the air. Indeed, the air always moved to aid him, but Inoryu knew it was more than that. The air was a necessary component to sustain life. He remembered the wind scroll and that it described reduced falling damage as an affect. He began to think that it was perhaps merely scratching the surface. 
    Inoryu stood upright with his eyes closed, fixed on his breathing. He started by focusing on air in his body, one thing that he could not live without. The air was invisible and necessary, perhaps something that he had always striven to be, but the air was larger than him. He existed in the space ruled by the air, air that was sustaining life. The air that was influenced by his chakra seemed so small when he considered that he was truly being nurtured.

    Inoryu's focus shifted into a higher awareness as time progressed. He was envisioning the various forces in play and the relationship with one another. He focused on his physical body's relationship with the wind: a constant push and pull of positive and negative forces that he can not live without. He considered the air that it came from: the massive, encompassing space around him. The air was present, and only visible in movement. 
    He also considered his chakra network and examined its relationship with the other parts. When he meditated, he was gaining another type of nourishment from the air. When he was still and focused on his breathing, he was cultivating more chakra purely from the air. These considerations were making the true nature of the element more clear. It was an element of life and love, as well as destruction.
    Though the root of the destruction is not clear. The Chunin began to contemplate, "Does the destructive side of wind represent anger?" He allowed the thought to sink in his meditation when he realized the truth. Rather, it symbolized the achievements one can attain by cultivating themselves. The frightening force of a tornado represents the power that can be achieved through self-improvement. To nourish and support life, as well as the cultivation of one's self, he believed, was the true nature of air.

    After meditating on the air for half an hour, Inoryu was ready to begin exercising. He weaved two hand seals and a titanium pillar thirty feet tall came into the plane of existence with fierce, winding dragons carved into the structure. Inoryu began making his way up the side of it until he stood at the five meter diameter base on very top. If the air was a buffer, then falling at this height shouldn't cause as much damage. He peered down the landscape that was another training area and down to the ground where surely a fall from this height seemed dangerous. 
    Trusting the air, Inoryu overcame his fear and slowly began to topple over the ledge. There was fear during the moment he began toppling over and thickened as his feet completely left the pillar. The fear was like lightning in his stomach as he fell through the air. He could feel the air around him reacting to the environment, producing air resistance, the ground came closer and it was over in seconds. He grimaced as he expected the pain upon landing, but the pain truly was inconsequential; a sudden shocking of the shins, nothing more. 
    His instincts relayed to him that there would've been more damage done naturally without the buffer, it was the buffer of the air that allowed him to stand and brush off the damage nonchalantly. Still, Inoryu couldn't shake the feeling that he hadn't reached the potential of the relationship between his chakra and the air. What would he have to do to progress, he wondered. The relationship began when he chose to answer the call of the wind. Perhaps now it was more than merely answering the call but giving oneself completely to it.

    Inoryu dismissed the pillar and it became more incorporeal until all substance of the figment was gone. With two hand seals, a similar pillar like it came into existence but with minor differences. This pillar had the same basic structure and appearance, but it was 60 meters tall with a base diameter of nine meters. Inoryu looked upon his construct and his heart fluttered with anxiety. Fear again was beginning to seep through as the sheer height of the pillar intimidated his intention. 
    He began to make his way up using the act of tree climbing jutsu and it was a slow process. Time itself seemed to slow as he sought to overcome his fear with every step. When he was about thirty meters up, he weaved the shadow clone hand seal and produced four shadow clones to meet him on the ground if things went awry. With worry on his face, he continued upward. He felt this height would truly test the limits of his buffer. 
    When the Chunin reached the top of the pillar, he stood at the base of it feeling as though he might change his mind. Despite his greater instincts telling him that even with the buffer, this was going to hurt, he wanted to push to the next level of air supremacy. He thought that subjecting the buffer to harder conditions with the intention of strengthening his control over the air around him was the key to unlocking the potential. This was the nature of air itself: self cultivation. If he wanted to master it, he needed to become one with it and overcome the fear. He began to topple over...

    The instant his feet left the pillar, his instincts shouted at him, "You've made a terrible mistake!" and his heart seemed to fall into the pit of his stomach. His instincts made it seem as though the thought was realized, but Inoryu believed in the air around him. He could feel it working, always in his favor. He focused on it, and it alone through the terrifying ordeal. He sensed it working in tandem with his chakra, but was met with the same blockade. 
    The air that was working around him was merely that. It was the influence of his chakra that affected the air around him but he had to figure out the deeper connection, and quick. As he was falling through the air, the chakra around him caused some of the air to act as a buffer and suddenly it seemed so superficial. His relationship with the air was much more than that. He used the buffer to turn himself in the air so that he was falling stomach first to aid the air resistance. 
    He realized again that the air was the very essence of his life, that without it he could not exist. That was the true relationship. The air itself allowed his life to take place, here and now, through a millennia of evolution. At that point, Inoryu concluded in mere devotion, "The air has given me life, so I will give my life to it." The fear became greater but he would not allow himself to be ruled by it. In a great display of worship, he put his full faith in the love of the air and he turned himself once again so that he was falling feet first to meet the ground. At that point, the buffer around him began to evolve from merely the air around him reacting to his chakra, to all of the Heavens moving in his favor. The rate of the fall decreased steadily and just before he had hit the ground, the falling rate became comfortable. Upon landing, he took no damage from the fall, and his shadow clones looked upon him with shocked expressions.

Flying Monkey Technique

Description: Range of this technique is personal. Duration of this technique is instantaneous. Target of this technique is the user. As the user uses this technique, the user is sent upward by a sudden updraft, as they seem to be riding the wind. The user makes a Jump Good with a +50 competence bonus to determine how high or far they jumped. The user does not need to make a 3 meter move before jumping when using this technique. This technique can be used up to twice in a row, when the user is in mid-air, to allow them to jump further up, but cannot be used while falling.
Limit: Must know Wind Release.

 
    Inoryu looked up at his pillar construct and found the top of it to be an endearing place to train the wind release as he would be almost completely surrounded by the air itself. Having eradicated his fear of heights and acquiring air supremacy, he never had to fear heights again. He considered a way to reach the top of the pillar by using the wind release, something he had happened upon in his studies a few days ago. He pulled out the scroll and skimmed the information until he found what he was looking for. "The flying monkey technique," he read. 
    He observed the hand seals and simplified them into two parts. He would then intrigue the air to help him learn all that there was relating to ninjutsu. He returned the scroll back to his pocket after absorbing the material and began to crouch down while weaving the two hand seals. When he was in a full crouch, he expended a small amount of chakra and jumped. A powerful updraft aided him so that he appeared to ride the wind straight up for thirty meters. 
    Inoryu realized that a single jump alone wouldn't clear the distance so he weaved the same two hand seals. A sudden force then allowed him a platform of sorts as he was able to jump again, riding the wind to further heights. The updraft was just as powerful as the first, shooting him up for another thirty meters. It was an amazing experience to attain such a great height in such little time and he witnessed the world below him become distant and small. Inoryu was able to clear the height of the pillar completely and managed to get footing with his left foot before lifting himself completely up the platform.

Airblast

Description: Range of this technique is 30 meters + 15 meters per Class Level. Duration of this technique is instantaneous. Target of this technique is 1 creature. User fires a blast of focused air at their target. This technique does 4 Armour Points of bludgeoning damage per Class Level. With a failed Fortitude Save a target of equal size of the user will be knocked prone. 1 or more Size larger than the user will be checked (Unable to progress in the direction they were moving).
Limit: Must know Wind Release.

    While standing on top of the sixty meter pillar construct, Inoryu was literally in his element as he reviewed the wind scroll lent to him by Densho. It seemed that the wind release was a very versatile ninjutsu, capable of taking on various purposes whether it be combat, sabotage, support, defense or more. There were also a few handy tricks that would preserve his life in dangerous situations. Motivated to really dive into learning the release, he would start with the most basic jutsu and progress to the more difficult ones. The first jutsu the scroll details is the "Airblast" jutsu. 
    Memorizing the hand seals and applying chakra control was his strength, seeing the jutsu in action was a little more difficult. In order to witness the effects of the jutsu, he produced a figment of a red balloon that was floating in place five meters before him. The figment was constructed with substantiated chakra that allowed it to behave almost as if a real balloon would. The difference was that it would take twenty attack points to destroy it. With the preparation set, he was ready to begin. 
    He weaved two hand seals and summoned the most efficient amount of chakra necessary for the technique. The balloon was well within range and he watched the target take the blow from the airblast above. The balloon was sent spiraling down ten feet before catching its bearing and floating in place once again. To be sure he committed the technique to memory, he weaved the two hand seals again and another airblast hit the balloon from above. This time the figment disappeared silently. "A simple jutsu. Quick, efficient, and has incredible range," Inoryu thought.

Air Bullets

Description: Range of this technique is 30 meters + 15 meters per Class Level. Duration of this technique is instantaneous. Target is 2 or more creatures, no 2 of which may be more than 10 meters apart. This technique shoots multiple bullets of air at the victim with intense speed. The bullets also have great power, enough to subdue a whole group of targets. At "D" Class the user may release 3 Air Bullets. The amount of Air Bullets increases by 2 per Class Level. Each Air Bullet deals 4 + 1 Armour Point of Piercing Damage per Class Level.
Limit: Must know Wind Release.

    Inoryu studied the yellow-bordered wind scroll on top of his sixty foot pillar and was eager to learn more. After a moment to absorb the material, he was ready to progress to the next technique detailed in the scroll. "Air bullets is a D-rank technique that allows the user to shoot multiple bullets of air towards two or more creatures. The higher the class level of the user, the stronger the technique," he thought. He was growing fond of the low ranked wind jutsu for their range and power. 
    Through the silent image jutsu, Inoryu produced three red balloon figments with 20 ap one at a time in the sky before him, scattered but not more than ten meters apart. He simplified the hand seals to just four and went over the process in his mind. After taking a moment to strengthen his focus he began his attempt. The four hand seals were easy, as well as expediting a small amount of chakra for the technique. The chakra transformed to take on the characteristics of wind and eleven air bullets shot from his fingers. 
    His aim was true but that was expected. What surprised him was the sheer speed of the bullets themselves. Immediately after they were fired off, the three balloons vanished from their terminal ballistic points. So sudden was the jutsu, like hearing the percussion of a firecracker after it had gone off. The emotion that the jutsu inspired was enough for him to commit it to memory.

Air Current Detection Technique

Effect: While in light wind the user can identify north.

Description: Range of this technique is personal. Duration of this technique is instantaneous. Target of this technique is the user. As long as there is a Light Wind in the area that the user is occupying, he is able to determine which direction is north by means of this technique. The user's newfound knowledge of north is correct when using this technique with normal winds, but can easily be fooled by techniques, and may be lost again within moments if they do not keep track of their movements. This technique can help the user identify an environment-affecting Genjutsu if there is one, and cannot be used if no winds are present.
Limit: Must know Wind Release.

    Inoryu's eyes scanned the scroll from left to right, reading the information. The scroll detailed a jutsu that can detect North by way of the natural air currents. It was a useful technique considering the career of a ninja often meant traveling from place to place. Though he has a baseplate compass packed for missions, it would be a good to have the air current detection technique in case he lost it, forgot it, or didn't have it for any reason. A jutsu couldn't be lost or forgotten.
    After taking all the time he needed to study, he rolled the scroll up and returned it to his pocket. He simplified the hand seals to four hand seals and utilized a small amount of chakra to stand with his eyes closed in a natural stance. The air was erratic and many light breezes brushed against him in various directions. At that moment, he was able to detect North. "How convenient," Inoryu thought. 
    The breeze that brushed against him was a gentle nudge, comforting, and a conduit for information. The warmth caused many random pockets of empty space all around. He was facing NorthEast and he turned his head to face North and got a good of Kusagakure no Soto. It was a wonderful and humble landscape. His home.
