Tarah sighed, and flew across the country with her colorful wings. She was looking for signs of civilization so that she could make some proper investments for the future, but didn't have any luck inside her vacation spot.

So be it. Opportunity was rather demanding, most of the time.

Tarah navigated by right of her masterful navigation skill, and decided on a location with her world map. She'd be going to the country she was registered in.

The Land of Fire was not far ahead. That was her goal—straight south.

Her wings carried her over three thousand meters up in the air. Some of the birds were still flying even higher, but she didn't intend to travel very far. It was merely a short visit.

Tarah, in her true form complete with long dark hair, looked out into the world. Staying in Fire for too long wasn't in her best interests—she had other things she could be doing. Other places to go. With her gyrocompass in hand and a map of the world in front of her, she took to the skies with a great leap. The jump alone got her up to nearly two hundred meters over the ground, and she climbed the rest of the way with her wings till she was a couple thousand meters high.

With a nice view of the world, Tarah flew towards the west. There was a landlocked country on this side of the world that had access to three major countries and three minor ones. That was her destination. She flew under guidance of map, compass, and her own navigational skills.

There in the distance was the weather country—Rain.

Tarah let her wings spread and took to the skies. She slowly ascended as she traveled northward. Her gyrocompass and world map were, as always, her main guide as she flew across the country. She stopped gaining altitude after reaching two thousand meters, and then went to the cold north—the Earth Country was her destination.

Her mostly-red wings glimmered beneath the sun with dew. She had washed herself not long before, and was in a body suit to reduce the drag as she cut through the skies.

Satisfied by the sight of the mountain ranges, Tarah turned in the air and started to head towards the waters by the eastern shores. By her map, she knew that the Lightning would be the next big country directly across from those waters.

There wasn't a lot she could do to navigate the waters, since they lacked significant landmarks, so she had to trust in her gyrocompass and her navigational skills.

They were reliable, at least, and scarcely failed her. So, at the same height as before, she continued the new eastern flight path. She kept an eye out for birds, thinking that they might know a smoother route through the air's nearly invisible currents.

She was heading to a cold land, but not as cold as the Snow, at least.
