Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique)
Rank: "C" "B" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user is capable of performing a few handseals in which gives them the capability of blowing a large body of fire in size of a large sphere that has great fire proportions and explosive capabilities.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending on the Rank, is dependent on how strong or how much the user is capable of doing with the Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Description: The user quickly performs a few handseals. The user then places the hand over their mouth creating a small like circle. This technique in turn is then to help the user control the great flame. The use then blows out and creates a large fireball that twice the size of a normal human body. When the "C" Rank version is first learned the user is only capable of blowing out the Great Fireball that is can not be moved or go anywhere else. This also means that the technique does not explode in a fieiry explosion, but burns greatly to anyone that is caught within the technique. When the user learns the "B" Rank version then the user is capable blowing the Great Fireball into the distance, sending it away from the use it to hurl towards the very opponent. This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing even more devastating damage.

Haruka awoke in his bed, finding himself in a stretched position, his right arm dangling off the side, both of his legs stretched apart, practically one on each side of the bed, and his left arm covering his face. A very bright sunlight shone directly on his face, giving discomfort to his eyes. He reached down to his thin blanket on the bottom of his bed and pulled them all the way up to the top of his spinal area. Placing his forehead on his pillow (that had quite a lot of drool on it), covering his eyes so the light wouldn't disturb him. And at that moment, he felt a great comfort, an ease that was so rare you had to savor it. But right after he eased into his bed, ready to go back to sleep, his alarm clock that was kept to the right of him on top of his dresser, had rang. Haruka slapped the snooze button on the top lazily, giving him some quiet. After another hour of sleep, Haruka forced himself out of bed and slugglishly put on his clothes, not bothering to take a shower or brush his teeth. He opened the screen door and let it close on his way out, making his out into the world. You see, Haruka came to the realization that he needed to learn some techniques. He only had the E-ranked academy ones that would surely fall back on him in battle against all the other shinobi. Haruka took a short trip to the outside of a nearby and small forest relatively close to his apartment. His mind occupied, Haruka had not realized he was in the middle of the forest, where a lake was nearby, and by the looks of it, a circular platform made of gray, black and olive green marble.
Haruka made his way toward the lake, crunching on twigs and small pebbles on his way. It had a mystical feeling, like someone wanted him to go there. With each footstep, the temptation became greater. Suddenly, he found himself on the shore of the lake, water brushing against his sandals. A big problem popped up. Haruka cannot swim, neither can he walk on water, because he has not experienced the training excercise yet. Haruka cursed to himself, wishing that there was a boat or something. "Damn it... I don't know why, but... There's something about that platform that I need to get to. I just have to." Suddenly, a series of small, circular stepstones burst out of the water. "What the hell?!" Haruka exclaimed. This is definite proof. Somebody wants me to go there. But why...?[/i] Without another thought, Haruka leaped onto the first step stone and slipped backwards, dousing his head with water. He pulled his head out and shook his black, wild hair violently. He trudged back onto the shore, trying to dry himself by shaking all his clothes and hair. Haruka decided to remove the coat, seeing as it would only complicate things if he slipped again. Haruka threw it onto the sand without looking back at it. Again, he attempted to jump on the stone, but this time much more carefully and cautiously. He landed, but lost his balance, finding himself on one foot, almost about to fall back in. He flailed his arms forward, trying to bring balance back. Success. He repeated the same method until the last stepping stone, landing without losing his balance. And with that, he jumped onto the wide platform, that was thankfully not slippery or wet. He was here. But why? Haruka rubbed his chin for a minute in deep thought. Hmm... Maybe it's to... No, no, that's just dumb. But what if someone wants me to...? No, wrong again.[/i] Haruka observed his surroundings, studying the birds, the trees, the water... Wait a minute. It's to train long range techniques! On the shore, he could spot dummies that were filled with straw that were obviously for practicing ranged techniques on! "Well..." Haruka thought out loud. What should I practice? Haruka remembered all the training with his dad. The fire techniques were pretty cool. Especially the fireball one. That's it! I'll learn Katon: Goukakyuu no jutsu! (Great Fireball Technique)[/i] Haruka thought back to the day his dad showed him the jutsu.
~Flashback~
"Hey daddy, what are we doing here?" A young, timid Haruka asked his father. At the time, Haruka wore a small, black zip-up jacket with the Uchiha emblem on the back. His hair was covered by a snow cap with a fuzzy little ball on the top and snow pants (it was Winter at the time). His father, who wore what the current Haruka dons, turned his head slightly to the right, where his child was standing. "Patience, my son. I'm about to show you something called the Great Fireball. I'm sure you'll like it." A breeze gusted by, as brown and orange fallen leaves danced wildly in the hair, almost at the same rate his father's long, dark hair whipped around, and as the breeze faded, the leaves dropped back to the ground slowly, just as Uchiha Osoi's (Haruka's father) hair had. Osoi whipped together the hand signs, saying them in his head as he performed them. Goat! Monkey! Pig! Horse! Tiger![/color] Osoi then put his index finger and his thumb together to form a small circle near his mouth and spewed out a huge fireball that flew across the the valley they were at, near the Uchiha residence. Haruka gaped in amazement at the realization of what his father could do. Haruka turned to his father with a great, big smile. "Incredible! But how the heck did you do that?" he asked. Osoi turned around, and reached out to pat his son's head. "It's easy once you get the hang of it. You bring chakra from your mouth to your chest and hold it." Haruka thought it seemed simple enough. "Can you teach me the technique, daddy? Please?" Osoi chuckled, then got serious. "Once you master this technique, you're considered an adult. And I'm afraid five is much too young to be an adult. But maybe when you're older, okay?" he said, as he walked down the valley, knowing Haruka would follow him. "Aw, man. That's gonna be forever!"
~End flashback~
Haruka clasped his two hands together. Bring chakra from your mouth to your chest and hold it...[/i] Haruka thought. He concentrated, gathering chakra from his mouth to his chest, and holding it the best he could. Haruka proceeded to perform the handseals slowly, hoping he wouldn't mess up. Goat... Then monkey... Then pig... Then horse... And tiger.[/i] Haruka formed a circle over his mouth with his index finger and thumb, then shouted the jutsu's name, activating it. Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu! as a small fireball, only a little bigger than his head formed. He kept working at it, only barely improving each time until he ran out of chakra. "I'll never be like my dad... Mastering the Uchiha techniques... Might as well go home. Haruka said to himself. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a shadowy figure. He turned his head toward it quickly, almost cracking it by accident. The figure disappeared before Haruka could spot any detail of the man. Slightly creeped out, Haruka skipped down the stepping stones making his way home, picking up his coat on the way back.
~Later that night~
Haruka arrived home, tired, almost completely drained of chakra and hungry. He paused and took a good look at his apartment, in love with where he lived. A pond and grassy area was right near his house, as well as a park a little ways further down. There were several picnic tables to sit at, as the place was a popular picnic spot. Haruka took a deep breath of fresh air and headed up the stairs, picking up the key under the mat and placed the key into the keyhole to his door. He would continute to turn it and walk inside, but a kunai struck the wall of his apartment with a note attatched. Haruka, afraid it was an exploding note, shot his arm out, grasping the kunai firmly, which he threw at a picnic bench and quickly unlocked the door, fumbling with the keys out of fear and went inside, waiting for an explosion to go off. He waited for a few seconds, a few more, and the seconds became minutes. If it hadn't exploded yet, it must not've been an explosive tag. Carefully and slowly, he opened the door so slightly so that his eye was the only thing showing. Nothing happened. Haruka closed the door, and with the last bit of chakra summoned a bunshin to go and see what it said. The bunshin opened the door as Haruka closed it behind him. He went up to the window to watch the bunshin to make sure nothing fishy would happen. A few minutes later, he came back with the Kunai and the note. "It's safe. It's just a note." Haruka rubbed his chin, still suspicious. "What's it say?" he asked. The bunshin brought the note up to his eyes. "Uh... It says... 'Come to the lake again tommorow at 3 P.M. to master the Great Fireball technique. Sincerely, Secret Uchiha.'" Haruka pondered, wondering if it could be a trap. But, what the heck, he'd go. Haruka shrugged, canceled the bunshin jutsu and undressed for bed.
