(B-Rank)
The young ninja walked along the path that led to his training place. He had recovered speedily from his last attempt at training with no chakra, but he had obtained something greater. He patted his spear, adimiring the black kanji on it's sliver metal, mixed with the hardwood. But now, he had another task for his trusty weapon, one that would increase it's value to him even more.
He reached the crystal cave's entrance, and looked at it again. The water pool had increased in size, and more crystals grew everywhere. Perfect. He unstrapped the Mizuyari, and withdrew his B-Rank scroll as well. He copied the text from his previous technique, adding a few adjustments here and there. Soon, his master piece was complete. He cracked his knuckles, and began his tedious job.
"The first one was okay, but not incredibly strong. I need to make this once powerful." He nodded to himself, happy that he had outlined a goal. Now to start it. He created the seven handsigns, and let the water creep up his spear. He created the drill, and it was soon spinning perfectly. But that was only the first step. He needed to make it more powerful, but how. Chakra, silly! He pushed his energy into the drill, and it moved faster than ever. This might just be easier than he thought. He leveled it at a big crystal, and with an extra push of chakra, it hurtled toward it. But after going only a few meters away, it wobbled in the air and fell. He jumped after the weapon, and picked it up. What had happened?
He went back to the pool, and tried again. He made the handsigns, and then made the water spiral around the weapon. He pushed his chakra into it, and once again it rotated even faster. He threw it towards the crystal once more. It did the same thing. The spear fell to the earth, and Arkai knew something must be wrong. He retrieved the weapon, then pondered his mistake.
I must have put too much chakra into it. That's why it fell, the chakra spun it too fast and sent it off balance. He decided on that, and came up with a solution. He created the handsigns again, and let the water seep upwards. But this time, he forced even more water to climb his spear. There was twice the amount he had before, and it was like a giant watery umbrella. He studied the new design for a moment, then approved it's flightworthiness. He, with great effort, lifted the huge water spiral into the air. He heaved it at the crystal, and watched his theory get shot down. The weight of the water was simply too heavy, and it brought the technique into the dirt. He grimaced, then went to pick up the spear.
If the first time, there was too much chakra, and now it's not enough, then I basically have to make a larger version of the original! This was plausible, but he already knew what the concequences might be. He didn't care, he formed the handseals, and lifted the great amount of water onto his spear. He poured his chakra into it, then pushed it around. The huge quantity of the water made it difficult to do, but eventually it built up speed, and there was now a powerful Mizudoriru upon his weapon. He lifted it to his shoulders, the rotating chakra making it much easier to manage, and hurled it at the crystal. The spear moved very slowly though, even if it was aided by chakra. But the results were much better. The resounding crash aided by the smoke of the crumbled stone was very impressive. The crystal had been torn out of the wall, and there was an incredible hole where it had been.
Pretty good, but the chakra drain was much larger than he had expected. This being his first B-Rank technique, he had no idea how taxing these things could be. He figured he could do it about twice more, and that would be pushing it. He picked his spear up, and walked back to the center of the cave. He summoned his will once more, and then began his second attempt. He quickly formed the handsigns, then brought the water up again. He spun it around with as much chakra as possible, increasing the speed of it's rotation. He lifted the huge drill above his head, and then hurled it at another wall area. There was an explosion once more, and he felt the chakra loss hit him again. He doubled over, feeling the energy run from his body, like blood from an open wound. He had overestimated himself. Two was his limit. He slowly lifted himself up. He would soon be able to control that power. If he survived.
Name: Hayai Mizudoriru no Jutsu (Speedy Water Drill Technique)
