Alter Potency
Rank: "B"
Skill: Supplementary
Effect: User can alter an Alchemical Item to increase its bonuses.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: User may alter bonuses (not penalties) of an alchemical item. This alchemical item must be contact, inhaled, absorption, injury, or ingested bases. User can increase an alchemical item's bonus. This bonus is based off of bonuses from Ability Categories. Any bonus that gives a +5 bonus in Ability Categories (Skills, Armour Points, Handseals, etc.) gains a +10 Bonus with Alter Potency. Any bonus that gives a +1 bonus in Ability Categories (Movements, Saves, etc.) gains a +2 Bonus with Alter Potency. Any bonus that gives an Ability Category bonus gains a +4 with Alter Potency. A recipient may only be affected by 1 Alter Potency Alchemical Item. This means if a user takes 2 Alchemical Items with Alter Potency, only 1 of them will have the Alter Potency effect while the other will have its base bonuses. Making an Alter Potency Alchemical Item requires an additional +50% to Base Craft.
Limit: Must be an Alchemist. Must know Alchemy (100 Points).

Hmm, it seemed that the last technique had been a success. Yoko had been able to craft a potion that could last longer. But what good was a potion that lacked a powerful effect? No, the youth needed to refocus her energy on enhancing the power of her potions so that they could be used for a greater effect. After all, it would be somewhat pointless to create an eternal potion that had a weak effect.
The user would invariably be back in the laboratory crafting a new potion in no time at all, or perhaps having the effect of their eternal potion superseded by a lesser creation. Needless to say, the youth did not want to spend hours and hours training and crafting her potions only for them to be rendered null and void. Therefore, Yoko needed to find a place to start, she took out her formula book and flicked through a few of the pages until she came to a technique labelled “Alter Potency”. She began to carefully read over the details.
An imagine at the top detailed what the youth could only surmise to be two identical potions, likely showing as a visual aid that the appearance of the two potions was the same, essentially saying that this technique was not visible. Perhaps the most interesting part of this was reading about what the technique could affect, namely contact, inhalation, absorption, injury, and ingestion-based potions and herbs. So, in short basically everything.
