[Chuunin Examiner]

This was a large room. All participants who showed up in this room would find themselves in a room that was 50 by 50 meters. The ceiling was decently high with 12 meters. The smell of mist filled the air. The room was surrounded by industrial concrete. A single door located on the far south eastern corner with the color of orange. Cameras could be seen hanging from the ceiling pointing straight down.

What made this room so interesting however was dead center of the room that was 40 meters by 40 meters wide was a large pool of water. The depth was decently large. A sign on the eastern side of the room said the pool was 100 meters deep, and the rule of "No running".

On the most western part of the room were some tables with towels.

There were several ladders placed all around the pool. One along the left and right corner of each side, and one along the center. This gave easy access to climb up if needed. There was nothing else that made this room really unique with the exception of what seemed to be lines in the water and lights. Approximatetly every 10 meters was a thick black line that ran across the whole pool walls and lights to indicate the level.

There were three examiners with clipboards and tablets located standing on each side of the room with the exception of the northern most part. The three examiners seemed to wear the same thing, white hazmat suits. With an average observation check people could surmise that all of the examiners were women.

If anyone had a Hiraishin tag and was still located where the registration building was, they'd be able to sense any Hiraishin Tags in this building.

Not Loki Hamura For the Members who pop into this room a moment of time would pass to allow each member to gather some composure and figure out what kind of room this was.

One of the women in the hazmat suit spoke up. It was the woman along the most southern part of the room. "03 you go first, then 07," she said loudly. "Your task is simple. Let's see how far you can swim down. Swim as far down as you can, then come back up without dyeing." she concluded before looking down at her paperwork.

Gunnr looked around at the new room that they were in, and noticed the pool immediately. Before she had anytime to really get a feel for what was going on, she was told that they needed to dive as far as they could into the pool and to come up without dying. Gunnr smirked a bit as at least this had the threat of death, although she doubt exactly how much. She sighed as she was asked to go first. "Fine..." She said with little enthusiasm. She walked towards the table with the towels. As she did so she began to strip her clothing off her self starting with her her top. She striped off her jacket and her her shirt, and then moved on to take off her pants and boots.

Soon she would be standing there in nothing but her underwear, having place her clothing and gear on the table with the towels. She walked over toward the pool as her her Ryuugan actived. This would help her determine that this was in fact water, and hell her see through the water clearly, for any surprises that may be in there once she had began. Once she could see it was clearly water, she took a breath and then dived into the pool. Once she dive she kept going straight down. She swam as if she was boy from the sea, her body moving fluidly and efficiently, as she made her why down into the depths of the pool. Once she got down to 65 meters, she stopped and looked around, as she waded there in the water for a bit.

She looked further down and sucked her teeth a bit. She felt that she should have been about to go further. She could stay floating her for quite some time she had breath to spare, however she could feel that her flimsy human flesh would not be able to take her deep without damaging her body. She would have to rectify that later. There didn't seem to be anything in the deeps of the water for her. If that was true she simply would swim back up to the surface to the water. Her body moving effortlessly through the water. Her head popped up out of the water near the edge, and Gunnr, pulled herself out of the pool with an annoyed look on her face.

As she stepped out of the pool the water, dripped off her toned body. She flipped her head backwards whipping her soaked hair out of her face. She walked over towards the towels and her clothing and began to dry herself out as her Ryuugan would return back to normal. As she dried herself off and groaned a bit, "This feels like such a waste of time." Gunnr said as she finished drying her body and then began to put all of her clothing back on. Her hair was still wet, as was common with such things. So leaned her head forward and a gust wind blew around her head in a small cyclone whipping her head back her hair fluttered into the air, as the powerful gust of wind, quickly dried her hair.

Running her fingers through her hair a few times and giving it a nice couple of fluffs, her golden blonde hair was back to it's usual full volume luxuriousness. She tussled her hair, "I hope all this has a real point."

[Hamura]

With their previous test apparently having come to an end, the two aspiring Chuunin were taken from the jumping test and guided towards a different room. Having had quite a bit of trouble reading the hazmat wearing observers, it started dawning on him that these people were not wearing them for potential hazards, but because it made it nearly impossible for someone like him to look at them properly and get a read into what they were thinking. Normally, he could get somewhat of a vibe from someone just be staring them in the face for a bit, though neither facial expression nor body language would give away whether they had noticed the fact that he cheated or not. And if they had, whether they would hold it over him.

Right now though, none of that mattered anymore as the next room seemed to be quite a bit different. In the room, one of the first things he saw was a sizeable pool and a thin veil of mist hovering above the tiles and the pool itself. As per usual, there was an equal amount of examiners as there had been in the previous room, again wearing hazmat suits for reasons Hamura believed to have figured out by now. Feeling less on edge regarding the tests being so potentially fatal that it required people in hazmat suits now that he did, he entered the room shortly after the girl did. By the time it was made clear what they needed to be doing, it seemed that the girl needed little time to prepare. Doing his best to determine whether or not the water was exactly water, he figured the girl jumping in and coming out fine would also be a fair assessment.

Stripping herself down to her underwear and placing her clothing near the table with the dry towels, he watched to see how far she could go. It seemed that, as was the case with the jumping, she could get quite far while unassisted by ninjutsu or other tools that made a Shinobi's life easier. When she seemingly reached a depth of sixty five meters, he knew that he was already outclassed here, though he had gotten used to that. Unclasping his cloak and mask, he placed both on the table. He realized that it was against what had been discussed, though that did not matter to him since the mask would allow him to cheat. By the time he had stripped down all the way to his black boxers, the girl had already come back up from the water.

When it was his turn to do the same, he dove into the water and used the momentum of diving to get deeper at an accelerated rate. While he could have cheated again and taken this test as a Shinobi instead of as a regular person in order to quite literally swim like a fish and be capable of breathing under water in order to make himself look better than he was, he decided against it. Diving down to a depth of thirty seven meters, he felt that going any deeper would not be in his best interests. For a moment, he maintained a presence at that depth long enough so that the people checking them out would be able to write down his results on their clipboards before coming back up.

"So far, they just seem to be testing our physical abilities. I wonder if they'll put us up against one another at some point, though I am starting to feel like this isn't really that kind of exam. What do you think?"

Each member would perform their deep dive and the members wearing the hazmat suits would make their marks, writing down their results. However, sadly they would not make any indications as to what these marks were. When the two had finished they would blink out of existence once again and end up in yet another room. This Room

Shoko Natamura would find himself this time in a new room. An inaudible hiss of annoyance slithered out of the young shinobi's mouth, he had been teleported once more. Only this time the boy didn't even get the chance to actually complete what he had been told. Serves me right for asking a dumb question. But the past was the past, the young lad would use this trial to make up for his lost points. Because he knew he still had a chance in this.

The solemn genin surveyed his environment. He predicted roughly a 50m by 50m length and breadth for the room, an orange door lay at the far eastern side of it. "100m deep." and "No running." were two signs that hung round the room, Shoko could also see that there seemed to be a large pool that made up most of the room. Actually, he was quite dumb-founded that he didn't notice that earlier.

"06 you go first, then 01," A woman in a hazmat suit announced quite audibly. "Your task is simple. Let's see how far you can swim down. Swim as far down as you can, then come back up without dying."

Shoko sighed, he was no longer surprised by the sort of objectives assigned for the participants to complete in this exam. As 01 prepared himself to begin, Shoko's own mind would be running through strategies and ideas that could maximise his score in this phase of the exams. A few seconds would pass and Shoko would come to a conclusion, a rather risky idea but given the fact that he'd already screwed up once he could afford to take it. As Shoko stripped down from his cloak, he'd examine himself, knowing what was and what wasn't on him and how much they weighed. The boy would remove everything except for his stormium heavy shield . With radiant, golden heavy shield strapped to his back, what he was about to do could only be described as madness. He contemplated removing his helmet but he realised that the armour-piece would greatly aid him in maintaining regular vision while underwater.

The boy stood near the middle of the large poolside. Taking in a deep breath, the shinobi prepared himself both mentally and physically as he bent his knees. The young boy dived headfirst into the lukewarm depths of the pool. You see, the added weight of his heavy shield would significantly aid him in sinking. With that in play, Shoko realised that thanks to that he'd hardly have to swim much, for the weight of everything he had on him would already make him sink. It wasn't much of a matter other than holding his breath as he minimised the energy expended in diving/sinking to deeper levels.

But of course, there might have been a price to pay for all of that. If the electrical current the stormium heavy shield contained spread through the surrounding water and electrified the boy himself, he would be prepared. And as such, he would simply absorb the electrical charges that pulsed around him almost effortlessly and convert it to chakra.

His dive would continue whether or not all that happened. Shoko found himself almost his limit after reaching 50 metres. He knew then, what little breath he had left, needed to be saved for the journey back up. So before the lad could sink any longer, he would retrieve the stormium heavy shield from his back and let go of it. The feeling of loss for his favourite shield was almost devoid on him as he concentrated on reaching the top. This was where all the boy's reserved strength and almost untouched energy supply would come into play.

Shoko swam up to the surface. The young lad swam with everything he had because he knew if he couldn't make it to the surface, there would be no one to save him from an undesirable fate. These thoughts fuelled the boy's actions even more, and his six arms would move at an even faster rate. Though he had miscalculated, the boy had simply went too deep, and it was only his energy and strength that he had a vast supply of, not his breath. It was then as Shoko felt himself running out of oxygen and getting more light-headed by the minute, slipping in concentration, that he would notice an option on his helmet's HUD. Rebreather.

Shoko selected the configuration immediately. It was the feeling of pure heaven as his helmet pumped oxygen into his system, saving him from a potentially nasty situation. With renewed vigour and no longer having to hold his breath, Shoko would swim greater than he'd every had before. Emerging from the pool's surface seconds later. The cool-headed shinobi immediately ascended the nearest ladder, removing his helmet as he choked and gurgled in his bid to provide some relief and fresh air. The boy took a single glance at the examiners before drying himself off with a towel provided at the time and putting back on all his gear. The young boy's face remained scarily nonchalant despite the events that had just occurred.

Description: The user's body's chakra is ready at anytime the user need it to. When hit by any lightning the user is able to absorb the lightning as their own for chakra. When the user is hit by any form of lightning (Includes Jutsu or Natural) the user is able to absorb the lightning as their own, they can transfer the lightning they absorb into more chakra for them or may have the option to combine that with a jutsu they have that have the same principles of what they absorb to increase the strength of the rank. By doing this the user is unharmed by any damage that it was suppose to be done to them when they where hit with the lightning.
Limit: Lightning Release Skill (Raiton no Jutsu), Must have 500 TP in Raiton no Jutsu. Once you obtain 500 TP in Raiton no Jutsu, this is automatically learned

[Inoryu]

    Inoryu took in the surroundings of the new environment. He had gotten quite used to being teleported now, though he always naturally conducted a threat assessment the moment he appeared somewhere new. He looked around to find himself at a pool, accompanied by the Spider Clan Sand ninja, and the examiners whom he could tell were women. He walked over to the edge of the pool and kneeled on one knee to take a look inside. From what he could tell, the pool was only filled with water. At that point, one of the examiners would inform them of their assignment.

    Having grown up in Kusagakure, playing in the massive sink hole in the village was part of his childhood. It was large and deep, children and adults would gather there to soak in the sun and cool off on a hot summer day. He was a confident swimmer, but it wasn't a skill that he trained in. He would continue to stay calm as the Sand ninja entered the water. Standing and observing, Inoryu watched the Sand ninja as he sunk down lower by the weight of his shield at a very impressive depth. Inoryu would notice that the sand ninja resurfaced without his shield and could see it continuing to sink until the depth obscured it from sight.

    Inoryu would strip off his clothes to his boxers. He would touch the water with his toe to test the temperature and determine if really cold water would effect his dive. Nothing seemed to happen, and the pool was relatively warm. Starting at the edge of the pool, he dove right in. As he submerged into the water, he began swimming to a depth of 15 meters before his instincts told him to resurface. He took a second to locate the nearest marker to get an idea of what depth he was at before swimming back to the surface. He would exit the pool with the aid of one of the many ladders, grab a towel from the rack and dry himself off. He then clothed himself in his black pants, greaves, black shirt, grey long-sleeved shirt, gauntlets, socks, shoes, his butt bag full of ninja tools, his tanto secured vertically to his back and his Kusagakure shinobi headband secured around his neck. He would continue to press water from his blonde, back-length ponytail with his towel as he waited.

(OOC: I just want to say that I don't think Shoko Natamura knows the Depth Rules, so I advice taking a look at that, or you do understand the rules and decided to go for it. Either way, what you did actually helped you out however you're taking 6 Armour Points of Non-lethal damage.)

The two worked their way to do the swimming test. The members in the hazmat suits made sure to make their marks but did not show signs of how well each did.

The teleportation sickness passed eventually, and Titania was able to take stock of the area. A dive challenge, yet another test of physical prowess. This wasn't going to be something she could compete with the others in, just like the long jump.

Go down as deep as possible, come back up alive. She considered how best to go about that, while the cloud ninja took his turn.

There wasn't time to acclimate to the deep. She would have to surface all at once. If she went too deep, that was going to have some very painful side effects.

Sighing, she let her eyes fade back to blue before removing her mask and setting it aside. She unclasped her cloak and took it off, folding it up and setting it next to her mask. With her large equipment pack revealed for the first time, she set about undoing all the straps that kept it harnessed to her front and set it next to the cloak.

That was the main thing she needed to do to shed weight, but she thought about it, and decided that removing her armor as well was the best course. Of course her armor was sewn into the lining of her heavy cold weather clothing.

She stripped down to her regular shirt and underwear, folding it all neatly on top of her cloak. She wasn't goping to go any further than that with the cameras rolling. She considered putting her mask back on for the rebreather function, but she wasn't going to be under long enough for it to be useful. She could hold her breath for about four minutes, and was going to be in and out in only a few seconds.

Taking a moment to stretch, she approached the dive platform. She jumped in neat as an arrow, slicing through the first few meters without trouble. Then she had to actually swim farther down. That got harder the deeper she went as the pressure resisted her advnces.

She started to feel it on her head when she crossed 15 meters. A pounding ache like her temples were caught in a vice. She kept going. 20 meters. 30. 40. 45.

She performed the handseals needed to renew her boost of the strong as she went, using just her legs to push farther down, and then just continued to descend despite the crushing she felt in her skull. She could take this much at least. 55. 65. 75 meters now. It was 77 meters before the pressure was too much for her to bear.

She turned to swim across horizontally, reaching for the side of the pool before turning around. Using it as a springboard of sorts, she launched herself up. She was able to rise much faster than she went down, just because of how the resistance due to pressure eased up as she went. She did have to go the rest of the way manually though, as fast as possible.

She surfaced, sputtering and gasping for air. Her head and her intestines all felt like theyd been twisted into knots. She felt the urge to vomit, but pushed it back for the sake of her dignity, or at least what was left of it.

At least they provided complimentary towels. When she managed to crawl out and over to them, she dragged one to herself and began to dry off. Standing up, the blonde used her free hand to undo her ponytail so she could dry her hair.

Once she was dry enough, she slowly dressed back up in full uniform, strapped her assault pack back in place, draped her cloak back around he shoulders, and clasped it together at the neck. She just prayed it wouldn't chafe too badly later. For now she just held on to her mask and kept her hood down since she didn't have her hair up while it dried.

Her confident grin would have been a lot more convincing if she wasn't about to fall over.

[Starnaess]

Another teleportation, another room, another challenge. The twins were ready and this time it was a swimming test of sorts - go as deep as possible and get back up surviving. The twins needed to best everyone else - they needed to get back the points they lost in the range exam , but they also knew that in order to do so they would have to do what others would be afraid to do, going all the way a t the bottom of the pool and then get back up in an instant, damaging oneself due to both pressure and the bends.

They had a plan however - first of all the twins would await their turn, watching Titania go in first and observing her tactics, they would then await their orders as they neared the pool. once the signal was given the fused being would immediatly  dive in the pool

While diving and swimming down, they would immediatly boost their strenght through their previously shown akimichi prowess enlarging theirselves and increasing their muscle  size. Not only would this allow them to  sink faster due to the increased weight - it would also boost their muscle strenght allowing them to swim faster and better.

they kept diving deeper and deeper as fast as they possibly could, with the aid of the mask provided by Shiki - their  breathing would receive aid from it - reaching the bottom of the pool, 100 meters. After that dept was reached they would then look up and as their feet touched the bottom of the pool they would use it as a jumping point, throu. Even if this didnt work, the jump boost would atleast provide them with increased speed.

They could feel their body being damaged by both the pressure and the bends caused by the fast speed used to reach out of the water, however, as they were getting  out they would smile. the pain they were feeling would quickly turn into pleasure. As their faces became more and more aroused they would try their best to act normal .

Now there was only one person left that needed to take the test, Ryutatsu. The twins would watch carefully to see just how well he would perform.

The lenses on the visors themselves give the user the ability to cycle through several viewing lenses and styles. Every bone in the body grows, and the skin stretches to accommodate the new surface it has to cover. As a result of this technique, the user finds himself 1 size category larger for the duration of the technique, and gains the following benefits: +2 Size Bonus to Might, -2 Size Penalty to Agility, +2 Size Bonus to Toughness, and all benefits and weaknesses equating to the Size Category they become. The user's equipment as a result of this technique is also enlarged and gains 1 size category. On the round the technique should end, the user may spend a weaving movement to sustain the technique and renew its effect on the same round; doing so still costs chakra as if they were performing the technique normally. Any increased item that leaves the enlarged user's possession (including a projectile or thrown) instantly returns to its normal size. This technique's effect does not stack with other nonpermanent size increase, but will overlap said effect and make them stronger if possible. Description: Bodhi in Buddhism is the understanding possessed by a Buddha regarding the true nature of things. Duration of this technique is 5 rounds per Class Level. Using the chakra in their bodies, the user concentrates on a large amount of it located in their stomach. The user then pumps the chakra up into their upper body muscles generating monstrous strength while looking slimmer and more muscular. The user gains a +5 to Might while in this technique. Additionally the user deals +6 Armour Points of Bludgeoning Damage per Class Level, however this damage is only applied when using the upper body. The user's size does not alter. On the round the technique should end, the user may spend a weaving movement to sustain the technique and renew its effect on the same round; doing so still costs chakra as if they were performing the technique normally. A character using this technique without the Akimichi Toughness technique becomes fatigued.

[Ryutatsu "Sakurai Sword"]

Ryutatsu looked down at the pool with emerald eyes, white spots whirling. Not that much could be seen behind his gas mask. Without much fan fare or much to do but obey, Ryutatsu with all his equipment jumped in and sank like a rock. He rocketed down with sheer weight for five, then ten, and even fifteen meters. There he started feeling pressure and his breath was hurting in his chest. He knew that deep diving was not his forte. Growing up in the desert, then mountains did not make him a great swimmer. Even though Kumo had a nice ocean, he rarely visited it. Deciding one bad grade was alright, he decided not to push his luck and swim up immediately. He climbed out and started shaking off as the others did their thing. He was soaked and annoyed but he was ready for the next teleport.

The three performers made their rounds and each performed the Swim Jump. The three members wearing hazmat suits would write down the results as each member completed their task. They did not show any sign of if the members did well or not.

Lemon - Lemon takes takes 5 Armour Points from the first Bends and -2 to Toughness. He also takes 10 Armour Points of damage and -4 Toughness from the 2nd bends.

Star - Jump Good isn't going to help at all. -6 to Toughness, -15 Armour Points
