It was finally the day she had been preparing for the past few weeks. No one knew here, not even her uncle or his girlfriend, and especially not her birth parents. Ayano assumed, that the village wouldn't even notice she was gone, unless someone who usually saw her every day noticed her absense.
Slinging the rather heavy-looking bag over her shoulder, the blonde gave a quiet sigh. In there was everything she owned (that was possible to fit), and provisions, like water and light snacks. There was even a bottle of liquid eyeliner, for later on, when she found a new place to settle in.
Stepping quietly along the path out of the village -- it was easy to sneak out, when you appeared so innocent -- granite occuli shifted. There were trees, mostly, and a few small animals running around in the distance. Of course, this journey would be fairly dangerous, as not only was she running away from her village, she was about to slip into 'enemy' territory. Where was she headed? Ame no Kuni! The land of Rain, where she knew no one, and planned to start a new life.
Her mind wandered, but during such, she picked up her speed: leaping up into the nearest treetop. Leaping from branch to branch with a skill that most shinobi had, it wouldn't take too long to reach the place. Yeah, the only problem would be finding a village to take residence in, and .. asking the Kage of the place, if there was one, if she could stay.
