Dragon's Blood
Rank: "S"
Type: Rare, Large, Tree
Effect: May be used for various alchemical purposes.
Special: Preparation: 6 Hours; Duration: Special
Drawback: ---
Description: Used for decoration, incense, and additives. Adding 1 thumb-vial of dried dragon's blood resin to any ingestible has a 50% chance of increasing its effectiveness by 1 per Cultivator's mastery (Affects are applied as per Ability Points bonuses, i.e. Movements +1, Skills +5, Armour Points +5, Saves +1, etc.). Plant produces 1 Half-Bottle of resin. Dragon's blood is an evergreen palm tree of small to average height, with tough stringy bark that can be peeled off in strips and a thick amber to crimson resin that can be tapped in early autumn. The bark can be twisted into a rough cord similar to twine, though it also gets dried in small chunks for use as incense. Alchemists love dragon's blood resin as a reagent for many other substances and it enhances many effects and powers without making the concoctions unstable. Dragon's blood bark can be peeled off nearly year-round, though a tree should never be stripped beyond one side of its trunk. The resin can also be spread on wooden trays and kept in the sun, so that it dries into hard translucent umber-colored lumps. Both the dried and liquid forms of resin are used in many alchemical or herbal items to enhance minor properties of other ingredients. Hardness: 6; Armour Points/Inch: 10; Armour Class: -2. Dragon's Blood produces 30,000 Ryo worth of material cost for items. Dragon's Blood items cost 1/4 normal price.
Availability: Spring/Summer/Autumn; Region: Grassland/Swamp; Identification: Average; Cultivation: Easy
Limit: Must know Botany for Grassland/Swamp Regions. 19% chance in finding.
Cost: 150,000 Ryo Per Tree; 60,000 Ryo per Thumb-Vial; 60,000 Ryo per Tree (Material)

Yoko had come outside the village to apply her new-found mastery of swamp cultivation. Thus, she had travelled to one of the many swamplands that littered the land of water in search of something that she could extract for a potential gain. In this case, it was the Dragon’s Blood tree. The young Mizukage used five shadow clones to assist her in the search of the biomass each heading in a different direction.
Yoko searched an area north of their initial starting position, she moved a good twenty or so metres through the foul land avoiding dropping down into the swamp through the use of a soul caster technique that allowed her to levitate off the ground ever so slightly. As she approached the first tree she began her analysis in an attempt to determine whether it was indeed a dragon’s blood tree.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique) 50
Rank: "B"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: This technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions.
Special: "Clone Seal"
Drawback: The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power.
Description: The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after 1 or 2 solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Shadow clones cannot be distinguished from the actual person even by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance. A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. (Cannot gain extra training points through training with Shadow clone.) User is able to make up to 5 clones at a time. Takes the amount of time to perform a "B" Rank Jutsu. Shadow Clones may travel between different threads within the same board.
