Matsunaga continued. "It'd be foolish of me to allow the jutsu to overcome me after I've already detected it. And it would be foolish of me to rely solely on the Onigami's alternative to the disruptive Kai, as its extensiveness submits to the foes of more skill than yourself."

Knowingly, Harue nodded, eyes fixed far away. Calculation, application, conclusion. Her mind worked like gears, processing it all. It wasn't entirely too deep, nothing outside of her realm of understanding, but she needed desperately to know it inside and out, to utilize it properly.

So she did what she knew best. She asked questions. "There are tons of variations of strongest GenJutsu. Specifically... what do you mean?" There was another long moment of silence, but it originated from Matsunaga's end this time. She considered her answer.

After an easy moment, Matsunaga came up with her answer. "You as a master of shadow, you have the ability to cast nearly impossible to deflect illusions. It is no different for other masters of other professions, and even of the forms you do not necessarily excel in. You will know undoubtedly what is considered the strongest when you encounter them..."

Although she didn't want to, Harue understood that Matsunaga could come up with no other explanation. It was hard to describe something as abstract of strength in terms of Jutsu, aside from the amount of chakra it exhumes from the body, and how hard it is to overcome. Harue nodded, finally meeting looking out of her daze.

"Alright." Her voice had taken on a somehow enthused or determined tone. "Sounds simple enough. Feel and interrupt, or overcome and break. I like that they're related... Easier on me." The pinkette lets out a warm laugh, excited to be learning more and more.

There was no hesitation before Harue piped up immediately again. "Well... no better way to understand it than to practice it." At first she'd been annoyed by the introduction to the lesson Matsunaga had thrown at her, but now she wanted to replicate it to perhaps even a dangerous degree. Her eyes furrow, glancing to the ramen shop man.

After agreeing to move the exercise to the training field, Harue gives Matsunaga to come at her with whatever full stops she could grant, and to not hold back. Harue would have taken slight offense to the quickness with which Matsunaga acts without emotion, but she was merely excited to feel out the Recognition.

It begins simply with the purple haired sister to disappear, immediately reaching her chakra out to Harue and twisting into her cranium, giving Harue as little time as she might naturally receive in a lethal situation. The pink sister had counted on it, responding reflexively by breaking it thoroughly, gaining her mental ground.

It seemed as though Matsunaga was climbing the respective ladder, first throwing something subpar and minor at Harue so uselessly that Harue didn't even have to really think about how she was responding - it had been innate of her to break it, Kai or Recognition.

She did not move quickly in her approaches against Harue but instead was thorough with each 'basis' level of strength. She'd begun with that pathetically easy to deter Jutsu, and Harue took this as the example for the first set to come.

Like wading easily into the depths of the deepest ocean, but starting with dipping your toes in first to test the waters, Matsunaga was gradually introducing her to what would be considered the 'strongest' of GenJutsu, to get a taste of being unable to defend.

While working through what could be considered the 'weakest' of GenJutsus, Harue got a real feel for what Matsunaga had been trying to explain to her earlier in the ramen shop. The feeling of the opposing chakra was somehow secretly there, Harue at first blind to them.

Slowly, she was gaining sight on them, now that she knew what to look for she was finding it almost naturally. Feeling stupid for not even noticing them before (it was so obvious), she dedicates an entire portion of her brain to the better analyzing of it.

It was nice of Matsunaga to start off easy with Harue, allowing her the time to first lean on the Onigami's chakra crutch. After she'd gotten a few chances to feel the disruption in chakra around her and properly break it, knowingly, with the recognition, Matsunaga would introduce stronger jutsu to defend against.

It gave Harue time to really allow her chakra reach out and mingle with the incoming senses, unaware of when and where they would be coming from. She did not look for Matsunaga as it would ruin the exercise, but she was positive she was incredibly close regardless.

She used her own reach to feel for Matsunaga's own, sensing the life of her attacks but not hers specifically. Harue focused primarily on both the nature of Matsunaga's attempts and the strength at the core of them, even at an initial gracing of their presence before she breaks them. 

Before breaking each attempt, Harue felt them out in the split second before they were discerned and abolished. From what she could tell, Matsunaga was still stringing together a plethora of weaker GenJutsus, but Harue still could not tell exactly of what sense they were.

Perhaps she could not perceive the chakra perception type through this, but merely that something was attempt to infiltrate her mind, her life and chakra, and take over her perception for a moment. It was breaking that attempt which was important, but identifying it first was majority of the battle.

Eventually, Matsunaga began delving into attempts that were considerably more difficult than her first, but still at an easily thwarted pace. Harue still had time to really sink into the feeling of searching through her chakra in order to snuff out offending casts.

It wasn't something she did really manually, but for now she was constantly aware of it in order to better solidify her hold upon these abilities that the Onigami was granting her. Breaking GenJutsu was no easy matter when against a skilled opponent, and Matsunaga was nowhere near done showing Harue what those types are like.

As their exercise continued, Matsunaga's attempts grew harder and harder for Harue's chakra to comprehend. As if the purple haired twin could sense this, she maintained a somewhat middle ground on her casts, spacing them out further apart to allow Harue at least a moment to recuperate.

Harue felt like she was all over the place, but in reality she was for the most part stationary, only pivoting and jutting as she fended off each attempt at illusions wrangling her into submission. Some attempts felt abstract while others were tangible, but so far none had effected her yet.

Which meant she had not tapped outside of the Recognition in order to keep up with Matsunaga, not yet at least. Harue knew by this that they had not yet graced what Matsunaga considered to be the strongest of GenJutsu, where the pinkette would inevitably have to rely on an outside source due to the Onigami's limitation.

For now she was able to continue the utilization of her Onigami prowess over the chakras and their respective natures and perceptions simply because it was the allseer, but also because Matsunaga was continuing to stay within the range that she knew the Recognition could comfortably defend.

Harue worked to work faster than Matsunaga instead of needing to keep up, but every time Harue felt as though she'd taken a well off step ahead of the predicament before her, Matsunaga widens the gap of skill between them further teasingly. She knew how to keep Harue constantly mending future comings.

A few times Matsunaga would throw Harue off once she'd gathered the strength within the Recognition capabilities to defend against even one of the powerful casts, throwing instead something so weak that Harue end up overexerting her energy, purely wastefully.

It was sickeningly time consuming, the hours of the day bleeding into the night while it felt like only minutes of training alongside her sister. Working through the night opened a new range of techniques to Matsunaga, but Harue was an expert in the shadows.

She was keen to certain types, their chakra feel so familiar to her that hers mingling with outside influences felt almost naturally delightful, but she knew it only as an old friend. Breaking those under the moon was easier, but others that Harue was not in tune with were also amplified.

They were beginning to touch upon those which Matsunaga would consider strong, but perhaps not the strongest. That was evident only because Harue was still not succumbing to any attempts, acutely aware of the chakra presence before it's even tickled her with suggestions.

When she would have to drift apart from the Onigami alteration and isolate herself from the GenJutsu that overcame her, she would know when they had passed Recognition's limit. She was curious to find herself in that place, but they had yet to come across it together.

Harue was sure she knew what 'strongest' GenJutsu implied, but she had never applied this to that in those situations. It would be a gratifying exercise to practice the breaking in real time and to reach the pique of the Onigami's alternate to the GenJutsu Kai.

Still though, she was able to feel with her own chakra and break the offending jutsu Matsunaga tossed at her with relative ease on behalf of her heritage prowess, still distorting Matsunaga's perceptional chakra attacks instantly upon noticing their presence.

Harue was building an intense understanding, suddenly comprehending the strange things Matsunaga had tried to explain to her ealier in an even brighter, more revealing light. Once she found her rhythm with it, she felt unstoppable with her Onigami blood.

The purple twin would show her in time that she was not in fact unstoppable but only well endowed. At the end of it all, she'd need to practice the GenJutsu Kai regardless. Still for the time being she let her feel as though she were on top of it all, because for a great while she was.

Harue only needed to feel the beginnings of the harder to defend against Jutsu. Matsunaga was beginning to drain a large portion of her chakra in order to properly affront the endless practice battle of mental stability, which could only mean she was expelling stronger jutsu. She had forgone the weak now.

For the first time, Matsunaga threw something a bit too rough at Harue, something that the Onigami Recognition could not properly break despite having the beginning of an understanding on the sensory comprehension that coupled the offending cast.

Harue struggled. She felt the chakra entering her atmosphere, like a painful static rocketing all around her and fizzling in her matrix, and it was stronger than the times before. She felt like she might be overcome by it, but she steeled her mind, the muscles all through her body tensing with the strength of her mental barrier.

Alas it was not Matsunaga's strongest, Harue knew this undoubtedly because she still had broken it upon recognition of the disruption in the chakra around her - she had been keen to it even still and broke beforehand. It was not outside her limits yet, but she knew she would be broken by it soon. It was impending dauntingly.

Finally Matsunaga was ready to submerge Harue in a world of inescapable fate if she chose to allow the Onigami alternate to the Kai to pave her destiny. Of course she remained nonlethal, but in a battle of reality Harue would have no room for failure.

They both kept this in mind as the last barrage began its engagement upon the metaphysical world between them, the perceptions taut against Harue's mental strength now. Because she knew it was coming she had steeled herself in preparation for the unbreakable and final attempt.

Matsunaga had told her she still might feel the Jutsu coming for her, but it would be an overwhelming of her senses. She'd be incapable to do anything about it within the limits of her Onigami Recognition, and Matsunaga had not been wrong. Harue submitted to the strongest level GenJutsu Matsunaga cast upon her, unable to overcome it. She would have to instead break it from the inside out.

Effect: A Jutsu that allows the user to force chakra to flow through their body (or another body) to disrupt the flow of chakra within them that is caused by GenJutsus.

Drawback: This technique only works against GenJutsus.
Description: The user needs to stop the flow of chakra in their body, and then apply an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; this is called GenJutsu Kai (Dispel GenJutsu). This can also be done by an unaffected characters by applying a sudden surge of chakra into the affected person. The unaffected character must know GenJutsu Kai (Dispel GenJutsu) in order to perform it on an affected person. The affected getting out of a GenJutsu is dependent on the knowledge of the unaffected. The amount of extra Points to the user's Save depends on the Rank of the Jutsu. These Points give an Circumstance bonus.

Finally they had entered a realm that the Recognition, Onigami’s alternative to the Kai, could not rightfully defend her against. It was time to strengthen beyond her heritage, focusing on her approach to GenJutsu without her doujutsu now, with only her surface GenJutsu skills.

It was inherent to her, the illusive chakra. Once she had succumbed to her sister’s attempt at entrapping her in a fake reality, Harue already knew she was under the effects of her projected training lesson. In the back of her mind she maintained herself, steeled herself to the hell Matsunaga introduced through GenJutsu.

It was unlike the Recognition of Onigami but it was also very similar - she had to first recognize herself under the influence of an outside offender, and then apply a similar logic from before. First disrupt, and then break. She could do so if she worked carefully, but perhaps she did not have time to be careful.

First and foremost, unlike within the limits of her Tasukeru, she had to disrupt her own flow of chakra, as if halting it mid dribble through the gateways of her individual chakrapoints. In a burstlike effect, she’d have to expel a vast amount of her chakra in order to combat Matsunaga's cast.

Half of the battle was only strengthening the Kai itself, and the other half relied on Harue’s own aptitude in metaphysical realms. She had to be outside of herself in order to rightfully act, distancing herself carefully from her own person to better disturb the chakra that bound her.

In the end Kai did not break it purely as Recognition did. It assisted her in disbelieving and negating, and was not a catchall for sure. Unfortunately there would be endless times in which she cannot, no matter how hard she tries, defend against something.

Not, of course, without the proper training of certain things to better steel and prepare her mind and body, and person and core. If she worked carefully to overcome what Matsunaga threw at her now, perhaps she could delve deeper into this world of GenJutsu without her, in real world dire situations.

On the training field Matsunaga threw another GenJutsu at Harue as soon as she’s broken herself free of the cold clutches of a potent illusory effect, this time submerging her in a new world. It was easy to recognize, she could taste the new texture around her through her reaching chakra.

With a world of dread around her Harue knew she was not in the right mind, and she closed her eyes tight and forced her chakra to stop its flow on an immediate whim. As if stirring it in opposite direction, like reversing a rushing current, Harue forced her chakra outwards again to nullify her sister's attempt upon her.

It was like she unleashed a shockwave from within herself, bursting outwards from the core so that chakra spewed in every which way, dispersing the offensive GenJutsu attempts that Matsunaga was throwing still endlessly at the pinkette.

Harue was working easily through her sister's perceptual projectiles now, as if she had finessed both the Recognition and the GenJutsu Kai all in one. Matsunaga could not have her confident when she did not deserve it, so she bombarded her now with a slur of painful GenJutsu.

Letting out a choked cry, Harue fought off each attempt with blazing chakra, forcing a break in the extensions of dark chakra expertly to thwart away Matsunaga’s final attempts. Even though she was doing well against illusions, Matsunaga had so much yet to throw at her sister.
