Magnolia town. An intricate maze of closely-packed brickwork buildings made of only the most refined and colourful architecture. From an aerial view, splashes of various hues dotted the rooftops of each building, be it residential or commercial. This wide expanse of structures and buildings boasted of some of the largest variety of people and personalities on this side of the continent. Dubbed the City of Magic, no other town in the Land of Fire held such an assortment of jutsu-casting entertainers, brilliant alchemists, fabled chakra-items and sustainable tourism attractions.
A handsome, congregational cathedral was perhaps the jewel of the whole town. Tall spires rose triumphantly and imposingly over each of the building's four vertices, further emphasising its resemblance to a fifteen-century castle. The building design and architecture was legendary, devised by a civil engineer with knowledge of construction techniques not of this land. Mostly the middle to high-class came to the chapel to worship, but there was no open segregation or discrimination for those who came to embrace spirituality at Magnolia Cathedral.
The northside of the small township was surrounded by a glistening and seemingly ever-flowing sea. Tax-payer money allowed for a large dam that helped water flow into the city without causing a flood as well as generating electricity for the populace. Through the dam, rivers run lines through Magnolia town, further serving to enhance its all-round beauty. There were bridges too, linking parts of the city parallel to each other but separated by those rivers.
The golden ball of fire in the sky was suspended and few clouds dared obscure its marvellous yet blinding glow. It was a slow afternoon, but nonetheless the usual hustle and bustle of life in the city echoed like a dull, undecipherable hum. Many people visited the town of Magnolia, seeking a multitude of things, some only limited by the imagination. It attracted all sorts: the rich, the famous, the shady, the adventurers and a wide variety of traders and merchants.
The well-known monster-hunter would find himself by the South City-Gates, having just been cleared and allowed through into the sprawling township of Magnolia. So much to do, so much to see... but it certainly wasn't sight-seeing alone that brought him here. The Kazekage was searching for a mythical ritual not of common knowledge, only time will tell if what he seeks lies in the City of Magic.
