Plot: In the land of Shinwa, a mythical island full of abstract horrors, the Orrkokerae of Orrok have lost countless men to the beasts of dead nights. Of the forty-something men they have lose thus far, only one has returned. She spoke of horrific things, of abomination beasts with hunched backs and razor teeth, of spider fingers icy cold against her skin and of sharp tools and of experimentation on other clansmen. It is a mouthful, but they have settled on one explanation under her guidance. "Aliens," or the Aer'or, have been abducting the Orrkokerae for unknown reasons that even Moeraehime could not tell you.

Her story is simple but daunting, and it is the only thing being released as of late.

Late at night, as when it always happens, she was stirred from her branch hut by a bright light outside. When she had risen to her feet to investigate, she was plunged into a new world despite having just been in her bed moments ago. When her eyes had adjusted, she knew she was not home. In her prison, those things had  dissected familiar and unfamiliar beings alike, with no care for their well being. They kept some alive for assumed survey, and they tore others apart - there was no ascertainable rhythm or reason to their selections. They bred the humans and slaughtered them in the same rooms, and the halls stank of sulfur and ozone and gore. She never found a way out of the building, or so she claims... yet she refuses to describe her escape. 

Talk of aliens spreads fast, but there has been a nationwide prohibition to outside influences investigating for fear of widespread tragedy, or the possibility of a further alien infection across the globe. B.I.N.G.O has called on specific individuals who have shown an interest in hopes of a swift and successful approach. Your directive is clear, but there are no rules once you cross the border. B.I.N.G.O wouldn't dare get involved directly...

Objective: Find out what the Aer'or are, and what they're doing with humans. Neutralize them if possible, but the recovery and relocation of the Orrkokerae may be your better bet. You might not survive a confrontation with the Aer'or...

Once she'd returned alive, the Orrkokerae were finally able to piece together what was happening to their clansmen and for this Moeraehime was dubbed the survivor, the she of fate, for her bravery and longevity. She is a symbol of comfort, a protector and harbinger of those still lost, those still abducted. Truthfully, she wants none of it, and even though she can be found in her newly fashioned hut and her soft, elegant silks, she is still only a child girl underneath. She is tired, confused, and scared. She is hesitant to speak of her time in the Aer'or's clutches and it may be hard to talk to her. By nature, Moeraehime is gentle and softspoken, but recent events have turned her cynical and harsh.

As his name implies, Oggel is a large and burly man of little patience and great brute. He is short-tempered, belligerent and aggressive. But he also cares genuinely for his tribe and wants nothing but the best for them and hopes desperately to reconcile with his abducted brethren. Lately, he's felt a bit of a failure due to his lack of being able to protect his clansmen from the Aer'or, but he would not let that show. He is willing to work with anyone who has not crossed him wrongfully and is a surprisingly thoughtful fellow. A few drinks into him and he'll melt like butter.

His Steward, Eteh the Meek

Eteh is a young boy, new to his stewardship under Oggel, and quite frankly he does not know what the Giant sees in him. Perhaps it was an easy way to an eye on the clumsy young fool because of late he was feeling particularly troublesome and useless. He burnt the potatoes as a cook and he busted his thumb as a smith apprentice, his tomatoes rot as a gardener and his animals weep as a livestock keeper. Eteh is softspoken yet opinionated, not at all weak but terrified of combat. His fingers tremble constantly and he respects Oggel like a father figure, but also resents him the same way.

Elder One, Felwin the Priest

A gaunt and perverse old man, Felwin is a bedtime night terror to the young babes of the Orrok. His sagging wrinkles and gnomish, red features coupled with his disheartening, wide smile and beady black eyes are startling to the young ones to say the least, especially since Felwin hardly emerges from his hovel at the base of the leader's tree at the center of Orrok. As the oldest member of the Orrkokerae, Felwin knows all there is to be asked about their land and their tribe, yet he speaks in riddles and annoying gibberish. Whatever the case, he forever knows more than he lets on, but is a feisty and dirty little seer with a heart of selfish gold.

Orrkokerae of Orrok, The Tribe Itself
The tribe of Orrkokerae (roughly translated to "Allfamily") is a diverse but savage bunch who live off the land and the meat they hunt and the gardens built by dirty hands. They live harmoniously but barbarically, their favorite entertainment consisting of battle heavy sport and tourneyship, and they never shy away from a drunken feast to celebrate the smallest of victories - even a successful hunt is call for a successful festivity. Men and women live equally among each other and their hierarchy is a tower of skill and success alone. Each clansmen only has one name and a title which they earn at their coming of age. For example, Betrix became Betrix the Ironsteel only after she had graduated as one of the best blacksmith in Orrok. A title of any kind garners respect and anyone who has yet to claim a title has no place in the systematic community 'government'.

The Orrkokerae live in Orrok, a great many structures in villages nested in the trees of Shinwa. The lower levels of Orrok are referred to as the Bellows, and the higher levels are referred to simply as Heaven. There is no inherent political structure as to who lives where save for the Tribesleader, who always takes the highest home.

They have tails as sharp as razors and claws even sharper, rows of teeth dripping a sizzling acid. They have skeletal structures, exoskeletons of midnight black and a scope of eyes under their helmet-like craniums, making them look nearly blind. They strike only in the night. Their home is desolate and a labyrinth of many halls, burrowing miles beneath the surface of [ REDACTED ].

Moeraehime spoke of the Aer'or Roaebou the least because she saw him least. From what she could gather, he is far above it all because he is in a position of distinct power, and a few times she swore she understood the obscene clicking from the black of his tunneling throat. She had seen him twice - once when she first arrived as he goes over each new prisoner, and once before she left. He had been hooked up to some machinelike room, tendrils overlapping a wet floor, and he had looked almost peaceful. She could not say what it was he was doing but she did not stay long to find out. 

Unbeknownst to her, he is the most likely to understand human persuasion and plea, perhaps the most merciful of all the Aer'or. It was the exact reason he'd been placed in his position - only the most cognitive of the beasts was allow to take rule.
