Glowing emerald oculus watched as the form of the current Yukikage would bloom into view, weaving through the traffic of a half-finished camp, only to end up standing before him and yet being dwarfed by his very size. “So it would seem,” he would state in his deep baritone, his eyes moving away from her to scan the area again, attempting to find Juniper. Lil Blueberry? A menagerie of shinobi would assemble as well, all listening to their representatives and all receiving the same instructions, both clear and hidden. Sekitan would dismiss the man, waving that fool away, instead turning toward this ship that flew through the sky with a modicum of interest. It reminded him of his oldest brother Haiiro.
As the ship eased into port, his eyes fell upon a creature made of pure shadow beside a jester, locking on what would be the face of the beast. It was watching him as well with intent, or at least interest, and he wondered idly if it would be a problem in the future. I may need to kill that beast and deal with the master as well. A dangerous notion. The beast growled at him as if it could read his mind and Sekitan smiled, the bone beneath his flesh shifting ever so slightly, the battle lust attempting to rise within this new younger body that could never age. Yes, the beast would have to die, as well as the master. Maybe all who were here, save for his own people, would need to be cleansed before this was complete. His flesh began to bubble near his hip, but his attention was pulled from the Dance to the ship, as it was finally done moving.
The ship docked, if it could be called that, and a procession of monsters and children’s nightmares made their way from the boat. These were followed by a young boy who was introduced in a most ridiculous manner, as well as a woman who was titled a princess. Boomer? Nyan-nyan? Hmmm. A grimace on his face, knowing full well who had performed such a prank, but it was well that it had occurred. The young jester had gone into a macabre frenzy for what appeared to be no reason in the least, glaring at a blue bird, drooling acid and ripping up the earth as his mouth grew and other mouths grew as well. The world has changed quite a bit it would seem. Another blue woman, although not the one he was looking for, appeared beside the man and had attempted to sooth him, yet it seemed his own blue girl had succeeded in that. The macabre creature of a human returned to normal, laughing hysterically.
Sharp eyes took in the faces of the people, memorizing them as best he could in their current states, even that of the bird and the shadowed beast. It may be necessary to recall them later. One boy was covered in his own blood, his nose gushing this much over the exposed forms of two of the women, yet a scowl upon his face at the princess. Odd. His eyes moved from the swaying youth to another that was far too close to the ship, clearly an airhead with no thought beyond the technical, and it was clear these two may become problems in the future. The others were standard, powerful in their own rights, but no more so than he himself. Another glance was given to the jester, his shadow creature and the bird, the object of that previous disturbance. There was something there, but he did not know what, and that was dangerous.
“Himi. Once Juniper arrives, we would do well not to separate if it can be helped,” his hand swept those that stood before the ship receiving the useless words of those that had stood above them, their guide with her cramps and her entourage of fools, “This team will not last and there will be danger from tenuous allies as well as whatever lies within. Although I am sure you have gathered this as well.” A smile began to form on his lips as he watched those before him, adjusting the strap of his traditional Jounin vest one final time with his left hand. It was almost time to begin. Turning from these people, he would step inside the mess tent, gathering food and water that would last for several days for each of them. Whomever of them had the bag would carry this, once these rations were properly separated.
