Personality
Yukari has an aggressive personality, however it is usually calculated action. Very rarely does Yukari hesitate in his actions, having learned from a very young age that hesitation could mean death. Do to his family fleeing the Rain village shortly after he was born and travelling around constantly changing placing and attempting to keep a low profile. Yukari has developed instincts that lead him to attempt to be unobtrusive in public and nearly invisible when traveling.
Yukari tends to be very closed off and doesn't let in many people. His loyalties are fierce and unbreakable, but his loyalty and trust are slow to come by. Yukari has learned that trusting too many people can lead to disappointment, and losing those that you trust hurts.
Yukari believes in doing what he believes is right, and knows that the right thing to do isn't always moral. Yukari would lie to his best friend to save his life, and kill without remorse if that is what should be done. Even at his tender young age of 8, Yukari has already taken his first life. and though the death still haunts his dreams at times. He would do it again. He is sure of it.
Yukari finds pleasure in storms. Every time the rainstorms and thunderstorms come Yukari spends the entire time taking in the chaos and majesty that is the storm. Yukari never feels more right then when standing in the heart of a thunderstorm. Often he will climb the tallest mountains just to be closer to them.
Yukari dreams of building a safe haven for Ninja who are outcast and hunted but don't deserve to die. Yukari believes that Not all Missing Nin are bad and some deserve saving. Just like his parents did. Yukari holds these dreams close and has shared them with no one.
Appearance
Yukari is a young boy at the age of 8, who has a sharp angular jawline and small ears. His skin is pale and lightly freckled. His eyes are unusual for his clan at a bright violet color. With hair of a pale purple and sitting at just above shoulder length and never brushed. Yukari has a small scar over his right eyebrow that he vaguely remembers from when he was a kid. Yukari has very small expressions, many people who do not pay attention may miss his small expressions of emotion. Yukari tends to talk with his hands but it is very subdued and he uses small gestures.
Yukari tends to wear unobtrusive clothing that is meant to blend in to urban environments as well as wilderness. Hooded jackets with pockets on the inside are normal. Yukari usually wears combat pants with plenty of pockets and ninja tabi. When not in combat gear Yukari can be found wearing anything from modern dress attire of a button up shirt, vest, slacks, and dress shoes to a yukata and geta. Yukari like to look good, but rarely does he wear expensive clothes. Yukari is a bit of a bargain shopper. He likes to get his clothes at a good price.
Yukari goes almost no where with out a couple of things, these things are important to him. Most important to him is his headphones and PDA both a gift from his parents. They recorded all of their techniques onto it for him to learn as well all of the knowledge and skills they could teach him. Yukari is always accompanied by his companion Kyn.
Yukari walks with a graceful step and a confidence to him. Young though he is, Yukari carries himself with bearing of someone carrying great burdens. His eyes never stop scanning the crowd. He feet are always planted so that he has a firm center of gravity. The first thing that he does when he walks into any room is to check for the ways that he could escape. When the weight of his gaze falls upon you, you know that he has just taken your measure.
Yukari carries with him an assortment of things but what draws the eyes the most is his bow and spear, usually carried on his back. Yukari's spear is black made of a dark walnut and stained till it became a deep black, the tip leaf-bladed designed for both slashing and piercing. Yukari's bow is of the recurve style and is made of yew, it is a light gold natural stain with soft leather handle and some of Kyn's feathers used as sound dampeners on the strings.
Background
Yukari was born to the Kazeraikou Clan in the middle of a time of upheaval in the land of Rain. The current leader of the council had just had a daughter whom he was hoping would be the next to join the council so that he could further his own agenda within the clan. However Yukari was born with the Ryuugan already active, something unusual and also something that struck the council with a bit of trepidation. However most of the council was willing to see what became of Yukari as he got older for not everyone who is talented is also a good leader.
The current council leader on the other hand struck out in secret and attempted to kill baby Yukari, only the swift actions of Yukari's parents Ryuuken and Yuna were able to keep him from death. Ryuuken and Yuna fled with Yukari that night, being marked as Traitors for fleeing the village without permission.
Yukari's parents raised him on the run. Always fleeing. For the first 4 years of his life Yukari never slept in the same place twice. Yukari spent much of this time just observing everything. It seemed that everyday he was seeing something new.
Yukari was given a PDA on his 4th birthday that his parents explained was the culmination of everything they knew and that he could learn everything they knew in his own time when he was ready. On the PDA was the clan techniques as well as information on Taijutsu ninjutsu genjutsu and skills that he should develop. It included meditation methods and training techniques, tips on how to be more stealthy, how to survive in the wilderness, how to blend into a city, and much more. Yukari was grateful but didn't understand why they gave it to him. They could teach him themselves.
Less than two months late Yukari found out why, after an attack by hunter nin from Ame no Kuni both of his parents died. Yukari was lost and wandered for days in the land of stone until he was found by and young ninja from the Village hidden in the stone and taken back to the village. Yukari grew up in the orphanage in Iwagakure and eventually enrolled in the Academy when he came of age.
Yukari applied himself mercilessly to his studies. Between studying what he learned in class and what his parents left him in the PDA, Yukari spends all of his time training and studying. Following eating regiments that were given him, and keeping his sleeping on a tight schedule. He even scheduled his fun time, two hours a week of Arcade time. However in a way even this was training, just super fun training.
Yukari made few friends in school, actually he made only two. Naga and Aori, Naga was a bit of a jerk but he had a good heart and was really good in his training, but Aori was his best friend. Aori always tried to make peace between Yukari and Naga. Theirs was a rivalry, friendly but serious, almost everything between them was a competition. Yet Yukari would have it no other way.
Yukari graduated second in his class with Naga being first, Yukari would never tell him but it really pissed him off that Naga came in first after all he did have an age advantage. Seriously if Naga didn't have 3 years on him...
