Splinter of the Mind's Eye

I've been to hell and back and now it's just a part of me
Without the darkness, there'd be no light in me...

The stone walls stood as they had for more than two centuries, simple, sturdy, and strong. Mined from the hills and the valleys, they rose in testament to man's inherent desire to leave his mark, to build and create. Over those two centuries, man married the stone with brick, with wood and glass, enlarging, transforming, enhancing to suit the needs, the times, the whims. Throughout, the building on the crossroads watched as the settlement became a village, as more buildings sprung up. The dirt road became asphalt; horse and carriage gave way to simply more horses or people. Fashions flickered by in the blink of an eye. Still, it stood, rising on its corner of the square, an enduring landmark in the cycle of change. It knew war, heard the echo of cries from the wounded, the prayers of the fearful. It knew blood and tears, joy, and fury: birth and death. It thrived in good times, endured the hard times. It changed hands and purpose, yet the stone walls stood. In time, it fell into disrepair and now stood differently as to how it had when it was first constructed. On one end, it had a three-story octagonal turret; on the other, a four-story circular turret and spires rose from the towers. Clusters of Corinthian columns aided a colossal portico. Large stained-glass windows enclosed the front doors. The building was a little rundown, but it was still beautiful. Ivy crawled unabated up the massive Corinthian columns to the portico edge, where its leafy tendrils exploded over the stanchions and railings. Old paint flaked from window casings and curled away from the eaves. The widow's walk's wrought-iron fencing was rusted. A few of the tin roof tiles also seems to be dented. Weeds had taken over the flower beds near the porch. Old rose bushes grew out of control. And under her weight, the wooden stairs screeched. She took a tentative step onto the wooden patio, expecting to slip through. She thought to herself, ‘Jeez, this place would make an amazing haunted house. I wouldn't have been surprised if I came across a coffin.’ Massive and tangled, but still graceful. It was a beautiful ruin, full of personality but in dire need of restoration. "Yes, indeed. There ought to be a coffin on the front porch." She was relieved to find that the interior of the building was much more appealing than the outside. Chandeliers glistened gently above, the rooms were lined with expensive antiques, and the walls were draped with flit-framed prints and portraits. As she progressed through the first-floor rooms, she discovered that the foundation was rock solid, and it was the most stunning home she has ever seen. And it was hers.

Glamour Perception

Lucretia slept seldomly, but when she did, she dreamed. Every dream had been a nightmare. None of them scared her. After all, she was the spawn of nightmares, and she's been toughened by a lifetime of fear. While napping on a Victorian daybed in the afternoon, she dreamed that a surgeon opened her womb to inject a mysterious, squirming mass. Awake but manacled to the surgical table, she could only endure the procedure. She perceived something crawling inside her body cavity after she was sewn shut as if fascinated and experimenting. The surgeon said, "Life changes with a book," from behind his mask. When Lucretia awoke from her sleep, she came to realise it had been prophetic. She possessed no psychic power of a classic nature, but omens would often come to her in her sleep.

She was energised, and it wasn't long before she had a book in her possession. She seemed to be propelled by some uncontrollable force of fate, and something whispered to her. The book reads several perceptions and provides fundamental pointers on a particular type of genjutsu. The pages had assured her from the start that if she could use this sort of genjutsu, she would see a difference in the pages themselves. The chapter describes illustrations of chakra movement through the brain along with details on subtly flowing chakra through various patterns. She had attempted it; however, every time it expresses it, she does have yet to see the secret message she was promised. Lucretia closes her eyes and transfers chakra inside her at a languid pace, transferring the energy to her brain and visualising the image recommended upon that page. She was envisioning the book itself smelling like newly scented pages. She interpreted and emphasized the chakra in her mind to formulate the image. Slowly inhaling, she leans forward slowly over the book, only to be nearly suffocated by the stench of dust and decaying sheets.

Gagging, she leaned back and with her eyes still closed; she concentrated more. As the chakra in her head started to activate, she pictured the book being infused with her own chakra. She attempted to emotionally compel the book to be fully flooded with her mystic energy as if drowning it in an ocean. The chakra she imagined soaking the book proceeded to shimmer an electric blue, just as she had imagined. This was not her suggestion; her mind was apparently subconsciously shifting images around in a progression. The style of the book started to change noticeably, with both the words on the pages appearing more like cursive lines and less like primitive, smeared and distorted words. The print began to blacken and sharpen as though it had just been published, but each line was still shimmying about and attempting to crawl off the page as if they were concealed underneath an opaque screen atop a book-shaped fortress. She plunged the chakra from her mind onto the image once more, attempting to coat the recently printed words with chakra as if she were stamping the pages with a press. The chakra dispersed into the words in her mind, and the words ironed and settled securely. She then imagined the fragrance of freshly prepared sheets.

Soaking it in the sent, which is both familiar yet difficult to explain. Leaning forwards, she inhaled deeply while maintaining the vision in her memory. She was now going to see if the chakra pattern she'd been imagining was successful. She opened her eyes and stared at the book. The cover was resting on her thighs, so she couldn't tell if the book was new or not, but she was pleased to see what had changed in front of her. The book's pages almost appeared to glow. She looked over the sections. Nothing definite, but something specific. She returned to the start of the chapter and began skimming through it, focusing on the pages of diagrams. Each schematic contained something that wasn't quite accurate. She began to see little adjustments in the pages. Some of the other chapter titles had an engraving far more sophisticated than the original bland script.

She proceeds to maintain the chakra pattern she generated in her mind as she flips through the pages. The pages started to shape tiny words inscribed around their outer edges. The phrases were fading in and out, like an illusion, appearing and then disappearing. It was a compliment to the reader for learning how to use this method of genjutsu, based on what she could pick up when they faded in.

Pattern Perception

After effortlessly mastering glamour perception, the Kamyuja opens yet another book of delusions, this time focusing on patterns. Reading the material, the content is similar to glamour yet different, having been altered to promote different ideologies. The book goes into detail about how patterns will show the target an impression of something by twisting their mind without their awareness. It explains how in different tactical terms and concludes with an illustration of a spider crawling out of the book if you look at the square picture drawn below. Sure enough, she looked at the square, and an ink spider crawls a limb across the surface as if it is a portal to another reality.

The spider creeps onto the page and scurries over to the other side. This side had text beforehand but is now blank, prompting the female to furrow her eyebrow as the spider skittered about. Once it came to a halt, the spider dissolved into the paper, re-emerging as the sentences. It illustrates the fundamental methodology of how the chakra used in this genjutsu projects a blank page illustration into the reader's mind and how the idea of the spider reaching the other side completes what the idea was programmed to do, thereby terminating the section of the genjutsu. Lucretia nods, realising how this genjutsu style effects the subconscious.

The following chapter was mostly sheets of paper with a few short explanations on each. It would be the first time the pattern genjutsu was used. It explains in the beginning that if she retains the book, she can channel chakra into it while attempting to shape the genjutsu, resulting in the desired outcome. Each page has a depicted scene on it along with plenty of blank space below it. The primary goal of this chapter was to guide the user through the process of forming simple images or scenes using only chakra and their mind. When concentrating on the mentioned paragraph, the female held the edges of the book and concentrated small portions of chakra into its benefits. It goes into great detail regarding an image of a prism with an embroidery on it.

Every time she reads the sentence, she tries to envision the picture on the page below; the trouble is that the explanation changes each time she reads it, even though she didn't remember the words shifting. She clears her mind by periodically attempting the spherical pattern with the embroidery, and the vaguest hint of stencils appear on the sheet. They do, however, tend to be split as though drawn by a child. Confounded, she attempts again, this time on a different page, but each attempt is identical to the previous. She drifts through page after page of strange details that vary with each reading.

She completes the next chapter after almost nineteen chapters. This section presented how the previous chapter was just a warm-up exercise on how the trends might occur. It states that the reader should not be able to apply their examples to any significant aspect. This chapter teaches Lucretia how to shape the chakra in her mind before executing the pattern itself. This form is not radically different from the glamour method.

It reminds her of a previous book she was reviewing. Going over example after example, she shapes tiny parts of chakra in her mind while fueling the text itself with traces of chakra and going through the book like a child taking a test at college. The book's final explanation shifts from designing an expressionistic image of yourself with the making of a sculptured image of lunch. The Kamyuja simply peers onto the blank sheet and sniggers to herself; finally realizing that the patterns in the book were now just for fun, she lies back and closes her eyes.

Shadow Perception

The very depth of space. There was the length, and width, and height, and then these dimensions curved over on themselves into a bending blackness measurable only by the glinting stars that tumbled through the chasm, receding to infinity. To the very depth. These stars marked the moments of the universe. There were aging orange embers, blue dwarfs, twin yellow giants. There were collapsing neutron stars and angry supernovae that hissed into the icy emptiness. There were borning stars, breathing stars, pulsing stars, and dying stars. Hell, there might even be a Death Star. The Kamyuja female laughed at herself before remembering what she had recently read. The training of illusions continued. Darkness had to be conquered, but space was in a league of its own. “An illusion with a twist.” As she folded her fingers, she thought to herself. Shadow. The solution was evident; she needed to learn it, but first, she needed an objective. Her gaze was drawn to a black cat. “Purrr-fect."

A cat's brain was much straightforward than a human's, with different management and different purposes; it would make an excellent study objective. Lucretia didn't think twice about driving her chakra into the creature, hooking her tendrils into its brain. She detected vibration from the cat's consciousness, as though it was resisting, but the cat's mind soon became idle. She knew she shouldn't be proud of herself for winning a willpower battle with a cat, but the sudden burst of victory was the same. It was something she'd never done before, and with new abilities comes pride. The Kamyuja hadn't considered what kind of illusion she wanted to create, but now an idea came to her. It was influenced by the Nara clan's ability to spear and strike targets using only shadows. She started to poke and prod the animal's head, pressing the image of a shadow tendril emerging from before itself. The cat didn't seem to be responding, possibly because it didn't understand what it was seeing, but it didn't matter to the Kamyuja as she thrust the tendril into the cat. The cat froze as the shadow enraptured it; the female wanted to believe she saw the life leave its eyes, but the cat soon returned to licking itself contentedly.

Lucretia was baffled. Se had no idea what had gone wrong. Since the cat had been dominated, it should have seen the illusion. Maybe it was brave? Was it knowledgeable? She imagined the darkness within the room laughing at her. She felt perplexed. She thought she had shattered the cat's mind, but it now seemed to be capable of withstanding her attack. This enraged her. Genjutsu is an art form that necessitates dexterity and imagination. And a cat's mind is not something that can be crushed by physical force. It is essential to look for and manipulate cracks. She resumed with renewed enthusiasm, but her attitude to the initiative was delicate but suggestive. Lucretia returned her gaze to the animal. She utilized her chakra and probe the cat once more. The cat's mind felt like a broken strand from a mirror. There were places where a hard superstructure resisted her probing, but there were others where she encountered little opposition.

It was through these cracks that she infiltrated the pet, creeping through the few nooks and crannies of its psyche. She knew she had succeeded this time, but her forehead furrowed as she considered how to proceed. She launched a new assault, this time with a sharp and polished chakra arm. She wanted to picture it as a shadow tendril. Similar to one of the Nara strategies she had heard about and witnessed. She imagined the shadow rising over the cat like a colossal viper. Lucretia was mindful of keeping the chakra balanced and attached to the shadow. The cat cocked its head to look at the shadow. It widened its eyes and bolted from the corner, hissing as it ran. Lucretia punched down, but the cat was too fast for her, and she only managed to penetrate the wooden floorboard. She hadn't killed the cat, but there was proof in front of her eyes that she had succeeded in making a shadow illusion. Yet the question remained: should she kill the cat?

The sky was crying. Or so it had seemed to her. The woman knew the water tumbling from the charcoal coloured smudge above was called rain - she's a mature woman, after all - but she nevertheless imagined tears pouring from the grey space as a result of the heavens opening up. Feeling so cold in comparison to her own, with no salt or sting within, but yes, it seemed the sky was crying. The Kamyuja had concluded her introductions to perceptions for the time being and had wanted to move on to something much more nature-based. If one spends too much time on fantasies, they may get trapped in a dream state from which they may never be able to recover. So now, she was outside breathing in the cool night air.

Doton no Jutsu

She believed that in order to become a powerful ninjutsu practitioner, she needed to correctly grasp the essence of the elements. The earth underlying her made her feel more safe and balanced, encouraging her to lose herself in meditation for a moment. When she decided she had absorbed enough from her senses, she knelt and encouraged her chakra to pass through her hands and into the earth. It filled the whole space beneath her and absorbed everything.

She knew that the Earth's surface is made up of many elements, including oxygen, which accounts for approximately 46.6% of its weight; silicon, 27.7%; aluminium, 8.1%; iron, 5%; calcium, 3.6%; sodium, 2.8%, potassium, 2.6%, and magnesium, 2.1%. Understanding this simplified matters considerably. Her chakra penetrated the region of roughly 5% in a grid format and inspected the whole earth. It started assessing the condition and type of soil and transmitting all of this information to Lucretia through her senses, using her chakra network and basic intelligence. Within that limit, her energy soon filled the entire earth around her.

The tricky challenge came as she attempted to move the earth below her, hoping to force it to shudder. Her chakra felt great resistance for a second, but then began pulling and driving faster and harder, lifting all of the dirt that surrounded her. Keep in mind that she was just releasing a small amount of chakra. So when the effects appeared to be induced solely by her energy, which was restricted, she was not dissatisfied. Out in front of her, she could see the soil changing and rotating in response to her chakra patterns and network.

It got her attention since it meant she was getting closer to mastering the earth release. Since her chakra was causing the ground under her to tremble, she decided to push a little more chakra into the ground and its components to make it dance more under her influence. The earth immediately replied, and her dominance started to spread, reaching deeper into the soil and impacting a larger region. As she progressed on, the female felt as though she was communicating with the spirit of the land itself, and she encouraged it to bond with her in the hopes of further learning what it meant to shape the earth. It was necessary to respect the Earth and allow nature to be itself.

Earth Release is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques and allows the user to manipulate the surrounding earth for offensive and defensive purposes or create it; be it dirt, mud, or rock. Earth Release techniques have the ability to change the strength and composition of the earth from being as hard as metal to as soft as clay, as well as manipulating their density, making them heavier or lighter. This includes allowing the user to travel through ground and rock in various ways which can be essential for both transportation and for setting up attacks or creating defences or for offence. Any Save Difficulty mentioned in a technique, whether Fortitude or Will is based off of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will. Some Earth Release techniques need pre-existing g earth nearby in order to be used. Techniques that require a small source of earth nearby is measured between 1.5 to 6 cubic meters. Medium is measured between 6 to 30 cubic meters. Large is measured between 30 cubic meters to 350 cubic meters. Huge is measured between 350 cubic meters to 1,500 cubic meters. Colossal is measured by anything more than 1,500 cubic meters.

Fuuton no Jutsu

Her elemental prowess was shockingly inadequate. She had only just mastered Doton and had realised that she now only specialised in two. But if she could harness the strength of the wind, that would be something worth investigating. She began to call her chakra even while seated on the ground, the rain spraying down around her and the earth now silent. Enabling it to circulate in the air around her.

After all, the wind was at its essence, moving air. It was a difficult technique, utilizing her chakra to imbue the air yet lacking the potency of hand seals as a medium. Nonetheless, it was not beyond her capabilities. She could feel the energy of her chakra changing the air around her. Misty slightly, as though her chakra were making wispy waves in the air. The tiny ethereal blue misted and was a telltale sign of her power.

She now manipulated the air with her chakra. Slowly, she began to drag the stagnant air, intending for it to spiral clockwise around her. She began to feel the slightest suffocation from the wind. However, it was not near the strength she wished for. She drew harder on her chakra, prompting the air surrounding her body to swirl faster. The speed gradually increased, dragging faster as her chakra led the way.

More chakra was added to the equation as she propelled the air into a strong wind that strained at her hair. She deflected the air away from herself with a wave of her hand. The Kamyuja was surrounded by a halo of heavy flowing air, which encircled her like a vortex current. She stood there, enthralled, as the wind rushed about her, pulling at her long hair and black gown. Her cloak, too, embraced her figure. Controlling the air appeared to open up a world of possibilities for her. There were so many alternatives available to her; where should she begin?

In the distance, thunder rolled...

Description: Wind release is 1 of the 5 basic elemental nature transformations. Most offensive Wind Release techniques are performed by making chakra as sharp and thin as possible, however, wind can also be generated as a large, concussive force to overwhelm a target. Wind-based techniques are mainly short to mid-ranged offensive techniques that combine brute force and keen precision to deal slashing damage. Wind Release also specifies in deflecting and even reflecting attacks. Wind Techniques come in 7 Wind Effects, which interfere with ranged attacks, or impose penalties on some skill checks. Wind Effects are described in the Combat section of the Player's Handbook under Weather in the Movement and Position section. Raition no Jutsu

The night smelled of ozone and roses. Rosebushes twined around support stakes along the front of the house, and the flowers drooped, soggy and heavy in the rain. It was time to learn to control lightning. The positive and negative charged atmosphere displayed beautifully above her, displaying its raw power. And she wanted in on that power, for she wanted to control it desperately. She closed her eyes and raised her left hand, which was the shakier of the two. The very first step would be to summon the chakra within her to herself. This was not the simple path to do without hand seals, but the dark-haired girl would not be rattled. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to slip into her peaceful base, her actual place of control.

Charges collided and connected until the spark ignited across her hand. The Kamyuja focused her chakra on the chain of charges, attempting to solidify them so that the spark of lightning she would soon trigger did not envelop and dissipate them. She assumed that the chakra concentrations would be strong enough to prevent the lightning from dissipating, so she began the charge by pressing two ions together with a blast of chakra to add speed. The spark ignited and danced from charge to charge, illuminating the air and allowing heat to rise through the air before the chain’s final charge was reached. The lightning would last just a fraction of a second before dissipating. Annoyance doesn’t embrace her when she extends her hand once more to draw charges of electricity to form a chain. For the time being, she would take the extra time to imbue the charges with chakra in the hopes of allowing them to administer and maintain the lightning until it threatened to vanish. She attempted the final charge and sighed gently before detonating the ignition that would set off the lightning chain.

The female observed the lightning dance from charge to discharge, establishing a zigzagging arc of light that averaged in the sky. The female slowly gestured with her hand to draw the lightning from one side of her body to the other, using her chakra to bind herself to the stationary bolt. The lightning conversion was a laborious and time-consuming operation. She stopped several times to administer more chakra into the lightning strip, preventing the charges from separating and allowing the lightning to zip away, possibly harming her. She didn’t want to walk away from this training looking like a fried skeleton. She was able to shift the lightning after what felt like a century.

She decided to concentrate on making it faster, then merely pointing the lightning at something to zap. She was advancing slowly but surely, and with force as deadly as lightning, she realised it was better not to hurry matters. She would gather her chakra around the lightning strip and begin to shift it in a stupid rhythm with no real significance. If she had successfully moved the lightning, she wanted to ensure that she could steer it in one direction quickly enough to hit anything and that the lightning would retain all of its voltage. She pointed her lightning bolt at one of the surrounding trees and fired it forwards with a quick flick of her chakra. The lightning bolt should fly forwards, slamming into a tree and exploding in a shower of sparks. The energy had blasted a hole through the tree, rendering the edges black and burnt. The Kamyuja smirked as she folded her arms over her stomach.

Hyōton no Jutsu

Flashback:

Swirling mist veiled the mountains and crept into the deep forest, stringing layers of white through the snow-laden trees. Pockets of deep snow hid life beneath the cap of ice crystals and along the stream banks. Shrubs and fields of grass rose like statues, frozen in time. The snow gave the world a bluish cast. The forest, where icicles hung, and the stream with its water frozen in bizarre shapes, seemed an eerie, alien world.

Clear, crisp and cold, the night sky shone bright with stars, and a full, glowing moon spilled a silvery light over the frozen ground. Bushes parted, and a woman stepped into the open. She was dressed in black winter boots, black pants that rode low on her hips, a sleeveless vest of black that left her midriff bare and had two sets of steel buckles running down the middle of it. The six clips were shiny, almost ornamental, with tiny crosses running up and around, embedded in the squared silver pieces.

A wealth of dark hair spilled beyond her waist, pulled back in a thick woven braid. The long hooded coat she wore, made of what appeared to be a single silver-tipped wolf pelt, fell all the way to her ankles. The female paused for a moment, surveying the scene.



Present-day:

The Kamyuja female exhaled a frigid jet of air. As the ice licked the corners of her lips, she sighed. She could sense it. The winter chill. This was what lay dormant within her. The feeling of being cold. The merciless manifesting itself as frozen. Though she could feel something else blossoming within herself in the back of her mind, it was the complete antithesis of what she was currently. Wind and water merged inside her, controlled by her chakra. The components were combined. This was an odd sensation, but it was nice nonetheless. She’d have to master this coldness utterly. Her eyes lit up with indignation as she took in her surroundings.

A frigid gust of air slams into and around her as she glanced up. But it wasn’t just gusty. It was just like frost. Lucretia stared down at her body as the rain continued to fall; the water fell into her hand and froze as it splattered on her palm. Droplet after droplet froze, one after the other until there appeared to be tear-shaped diamonds in her palm. She smiled and then shook the diamonds off, falling back into her realm of memories.


Flashback:

She looked upon the frozen lake to the right of the field, the moon creating beautiful silver patterns on the frozen surface. She didn’t mean to kill the man. But sometimes, controlling the elements can be challenging. She was surprised; she froze him in seconds. The ice-hardening him until he was a block of hardened flesh. She shouldn’t have touched him. He wouldn’t have shattered otherwise.

She was so angry. She can’t control her rage. Her hatred. When it comes upon her, bad things happen. And everything gets out of hand. But he shouldn’t have touched her. It was his mistake. A fatal error on his behalf. And now he was dead. The female turned away from the lake and disappeared into the snowstorm.



Present-day:

Lucretia sighed as another blast of ice emitted from her body, and the rain that had been pouring around her had halted and transformed into snowflakes. As the flakes began to fall, the water that was still saturated on her skin crystallized into frozen ice.

The water turned rigid as though it had instantly frozen. For a brief moment, Lucretia’s entire body appeared to have frozen over. Her body began to crack, although she was immobilized. The icy shield exploded from a slight twitch of her from a burst of chakra, and the Kamyuja stood there totally cleansed. The ice she expelled from her body swirled about her. She gazed at each snowfall and proceeded to manipulate them to her liking. Like crystals in the wind, the snow swirled about her.

She suddenly stretched her palm, releasing more chakra into the air above her. As her chakra spread, all the water in the vicinity swiftly froze, and the falling blades soon tumbled down. Still, with a wave of her palm, the descending mass of ice softly turned to snow and floated slowly to the ground below. The rainstorm had morphed into a snowstorm, but the cloud that had caused the rain had vanished as quickly as it had come.

Lucretia expanded her Ice chakra once more, causing the snow she had made to evaporate from existence.

Description: This technique does not count against the user's Release Training Points. Ice release allows the user to freely create and manipulate ice by simultaneously combining Wind, and Water-based Chakra. Depending on the user, Ice Release can be extremely resistant to fire-based attacks, only melting slightly when coming into contact with flames. Additionally, any nearby water is an advantage, as the user can simply freeze that water to create ice. Any Save Difficulty mentioned in a technique, whether Fortitude or Will is based off of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will. Some Ice Release techniques need pre-existing ice, snow, or water nearby in order to be used. Techniques that require a small source of snow or ice nearby is measured between 1.5 to 6 cubic meters. Medium is measured between 6 to 30 cubic meters. Large is measured between 30 cubic meters to 350 cubic meters. Huge is measured between 350 cubic meters to 1,500 cubic meters. Colossal is measured by anything more than 1,500 cubic meters.

Lucretia wanted to punch something. Hard. No, she needed to hit something—or someone—preferably her commando-type friend. It would be satisfying to feel the crunch of her knuckles splitting open flesh, cracking bone. Yeah. She could imagine it. Rage welled up. Swirled in her belly. Deep. So deep she knew she'd never get it out, not without consequences. She pressed her fingers to her eyes to stop the burning, knowing full well her eyes were not their standard colour anymore. He knew that the relationship between his son and her was strained. Yet now, his son stands before her, suitcase in hand. She was pissed.

Ten minutes elapsed since his arrival, and she had stormed out of her mansion in a fit of fury. She was now twisting. She rolled onto her back before shifting into a kneeling stance. A deep breath failed to calm her. The ground shattered before her fist as she thrust her fist into it. Both rocks and foliage in front of her exploded in all directions. Her rage turned into strength, her muscles hardened, and the kinetic energy she propelled into the ground was enough to generate a large circle of devastation around her. However, it was insufficient; she needed more. She needed to get rid of such rage that was building up inside of her. Her lungs and heart were racing, begging her to let go of the vitality she possessed. Leaping once more, she cocked her fist, striving for a location far enough away from her home.

The fist struck the ground with such intensity that there was just a crack through the earth; for a brief moment after the shock wave passed, there was silence, and nothing could be seen, not even the animals. The Kamyuja, on the other hand, was well aware of what was about to occur; she could sense the turmoil in her marrow, her true power progressively awakening from inside her. As she perceived the implementation of the technique, the ground began to collapse and pulsate, cracks appearing throughout the area; the damage was phenomenal. Her breath turned ragged as the ground started to explode and transform, with walls of earth rising and falling apart, the quickly adapting environment, and sight of the devastation she had never seen before.

Massive amounts of land burst outwards around her, transforming the once peaceful and friendly woodland into a devastated wilderness that she had ravaged with her might. She still demanded more; her body, having eventually permitted the issuance of madness, required more, the conditions of which were required to support the dead cells that filled the empty carcass that was her soul. She'd inevitably find something to consume. Chaos, her people's dormant power. This enraged ability would allow her to become more powerful than any other being on the planet's surface. This was only a glimpse of her true might; the cataclysm she had caused with one glorious strike of her fist was only the beginning; her power would be spoken about in legends, and she would destroy the very heart of the globe with her right hand.

Effect: The user slams their fist into the ground with tremendous force causing the terrain around them to become unstable as it violently shakes making the earth around them rise in pillars.

Description: Striking downward towards the ground, the user sends a shockwave that causes the earth beneath them to violently shake like an earthquake. This technique last for two rounds, though the devastation of this technique isn’t as tremendous its capabilities are limitless.
First Stage: After striking the floor, tremors start to accrue due to the force of the punch which causes underground vibration. In result of this the within a 100 meter radius blast of the impact site becomes unstable, making it quite difficult for people to stand on without nearly falling over. This makes the land quite difficult to fight on for the user and the opponent.
Second Stage: The next turn, the terrain beings to crumble and collapses in on itself engulfing anything on the surface into its belly. As the land now becomes brittle, pillars of earth rise out from beneath the destroyed terrain and being climbing in height as they begin to tower of the land ten to twenty meters high with a width that is uncounted for as it varies from different sizes. The amount of earth that is shifted upwards as pillars is unknown, but what is known is that the terrain becomes unrecognizable as the landscape changed into an entirely new battlefield.

Force Scream

Flashback:

Brilliant hues; orange, pink and red-streaked over the sky, transforming the sea into a living fire as the sun set low over the ocean. Twenty feet beneath the water surface, Cree Kamyuja stilled, hypnotised by the sudden, uncommon magnificence of flame filling the sea like liquid magma. She was holding her breath once more, even though she could scream and make sound waves expecting the excruciating repetition. The female decided it would be good to keep as much air as possible before beginning her screaming exercise. However, suppose she can have an excellent opportunity to hold her breath for a more extended period than customary. In that case, it will aid her with this technique and the other jutsu known as eternal breath — or something along those lines.

Her ears popped, and she instantly began the process of conserving her energy. Tuning her vocal cords into that of a high vocal reach necessary for when she elected to resurface, she would be able to scream and see whether the force of her scream could send sound waves capable of cresting something along with the flatness of the water. She did so after a minute, effortlessly ascending to the surface, her legs kicking in steady strokes. Cree shifted her weight slightly backwards, slightly bending her spine, and as her head breached the surface, she let out a scream that ripped the air from her very core.

The waves around her body became more profound, and she observed as they stretched taut into little arcs. The little waves were worthless when the female demanded them to be larger and more prominent, or she would never finish the lesson. She sat tight, gasping delicately, waiting for the waves to calm down again. She was tired and depleted of vitality. Unpredictably, she was suddenly dragged beneath the water by something undetectable, as if they were hauling her to hell. Cree didn't fight; instead, she watched as her dark hair melted in with the vastness of the sea.

Despite her lungs burning, she compelled herself to hold her breath this time. It was, however, far less taxing. The world became dark over the water's surface as darkness overpowered day. Underneath the water, the female held her breath and examined the ocean floor, discovering rock along the sand bottom and fish swimming as freely as they could. Cree grimaced, and when her ears popped, instead of rising, she sunk further into the water, intending to stretch her lungs far further. Her hands brushed over the sandy composition, evoking memories of muck and ocean development.

She swam to the shoreline, her throat scorching and her ears past torture. Still, before her head breached the surface, she merely peered at the dark abyss and wondered absurdly whether there would be a day when she would be able to master water jutsus that might strangle any semblance of mankind. What had been yanking her down felt like fingers from a hand. Her thoughts were shattered when her midsection began to complain of something other than anguish or uneasiness, and she felt compelled to emerge.

This sonic boom surrounds the user sending anything around them flying back at a high velocity. The sound wave of this technique is capable of being seen by the human eye as the area around the user ripples causing the space to shimmer making that area very disoriented when looking upon it. This technique can also be used to counter or redirect projectile weapons or projectile techniques of its rank and lower, (“B” Rank and lower). Depending on the Class level of the user also depends on the strength of the technique. When the user first learns this technique at “C” Rank they are capable of sending out a shock wave of fifty meters, giving it a knock back power of fifteen meters. When the user becomes a “B” Rank they are capable of sending out a shock wave of fifty-five meters, giving it a knock back power of twenty meters.

ATTEMPT 2 - Force Scream

The female swam up gradually, unshakably kicking, for if she rose too rapidly, she would be in danger, and the Kamyuja laughs in the face of danger, for she is the one who likes to precipitate and generate it. She is aware that if she rises too hastily, the gases she obtained from the surface, such as oxygen and others, will lose their value. The consequence would be disastrous; bubbles would form inside her bloodstream and lungs, something she does not want to experience. She screamed when her head burst out of the water. She wailed as forcefully and as fiercely as she could, and the water surrounding her began to retaliate by sinking and generating waves. She could see the size of the waves in the moonlight, and they were much more visible than they had been.

The waters divided where the sound waves had fled from her lips, and the force of her attack propelled her body back. She gasped in an attempt to calm down before attempting anew. The water from the ocean dripped off her body following her ascension to shore and on firm land. It was late in the evening, and no one seemed to be nearby, so she was swimming naked this time. The chilly air felt beautiful on her bare skin, and as she gazed out at sea, she breathed in more oxygen and expelled it.

Warming her lungs, throat, and internal organs until, finally, she drew up the air, she locked it inside the chamber of her lungs and waited for the popping release or the anguish and agony to urge for her to expel it. Her cheeks showed no sign of air within them; it appeared as if she was just standing there, not breathing by any stretch of the imagination. She immediately lunged forwards and shrieked, enraged at the way things were going. Facing the waves, the scream departed her mouth, and she screamed fiercely, shrilly, and insidiously. The sound waves raced at a rapid rate than previously, but not as discreetly. She watched the tides shift as the sound waves struck them with ferocious abuse as she closed her lips and inhaled additional air via her nose.

And once the sound waves had vanished and the waves had settled down to resemble a flat sheet of ice, she let forth another thundering roar, and another sound wave from her vocal cords assaulted the open. She was making good progress, which made her happy. Cree beamed out to the ocean as the waves separated into two, enabling her to examine the sandy sea bed. The waves were expansive and high this time, with foam spraying the air.

Just as her sound waves had generated a seismic tremor, two rogue waves were created and sent off in opposite directions. Her mouth closed, and with her tongue moving around to wet her teeth and internal gums. Despite all, plagued by emotions that demanded to be heard, she thought: Was this adequate? The sound waves continued to travel forwards, generating a significant movement inside the sea. As the echoes faded, the thunder of the waves faded as well.
