Advice on updating character

The Issue: Good day,

I want to return to continue again with my character. As I love him the way I had him created.

However a while back(last year) I tried to return and as kaishin was removed. Tried to update my character but kaishin being gone discouraged me from actually rping.

Fast forward another year, here I am again seeing even more changes. Some of them I can see actually impact me(tp changes to techniques) and some of them I honestly have no clue. Add to this the 1500 gift(assuming I can still apply it) I am a little lost how to update my character.

So far from the TP update alone I have to move around 600 TP. On top of that I have to check all my skills. IS there any other important updates I might be missing? Also would you recommend updating the character or doing a revamp? If I were to go with a revamp it is just the skills and maybe a small addition to the backstory to include the new techniques.

I also have two more questions:
1) do skills that say they always cost 20 TP, still cost 20 TP? (some of the hoshigaki skills have this trait)
2) do you keep your mission count when you revamp?

Last not least, it seems I have missed the IMPACT-L part of the players handbook. How do I go about to add this to my character in hindsight?

Unfortunately, you cannot use the 1,500tp as you weren't active during the time. You can check here for updates and corollate them to your timeline narutoforumrp.proboards.com/thread/109902/site-update

I think it's best for you to do a full-on revamp, some of your techniques might have been removed and whatnot. Take that 2695tp worth of skills and techniques and just re-pick, or get some new ones, whatever your feeling.

Yeah if a technique says "Always 20 Training Points" it still costs 20TP. Also, you should really look at the indexes again, I don't see any Hoshigaki techniques that say that.

As long as it's a revamp, then yeah you still keep your mission credit. Your character is still the same being who did all those missions.

For your IMPACT L, everyone starts with +2 points to one category. At "D" Class, a character can increase 1 Ability Category by +1 then you get an additional point after every other class level. Eventually, you will end up with 7 points at S rank. Distribute them however you like in any category for bonuses, read up on the bonuses and everything else concerning it in the handbook narutoforumrp.proboards.com/thread/109901

last time 5 years ago there was also no activity requirement for the tp gift? I also do not spot an activity requirement for it?

Edit: one more question, I see the amount of freebies went up from 8 to 12. I would like to use some of those extra's on traits. Is this allowed?

Damn that really sucks and is a bit demotivating to have that dangle in front of you.... 1500 would have made such a nice difference :/
