Narumi let out a purr -- something that most cats of her specie couldn't do -- at the scratch of her ears. They were starting to feel a little neglected. Black nose twitched at the idea cast before her, and the feline turned to glance at her companion. Though it wasn't an order from the one she was supposed to work with, she decided that it would be fun, and no harm could come from any fun! Could it? Working her way around a table, Narumi erupted into a full-out run, which ended with a pounce and a growl ontop of the 'sleeping' man's chest. She wasn't aiming to hurt, but .. it would certainly knock the wind out of him, if not scare him to death.
Riou just cracked a slight grin, used to her sister's antics, though wishing Yuujin hadn't taken the brunt of the joke. Scooting herself to the side, the dark haired Kikkawa sprawled out on her couch; slim digits curling about the edge of the couch-arm. In respect, her own stretched arms worked as a cushion to prop up her head, and keep her eyesight focused on the three others in the room.
Asko was, of course, her main interest. "I was a little worried about Matsu. He was instructed to run off to Snow, and I wasn't sure if he heard the news about the Kage spot being taken." The boy was her family, so she needed to be cautious, especially when his leaving would have made him a missing ninja -- arousing all sorts of later complications. As for Gansaku, she made no other comment about him, as if she had never spoken his name to begin with. Quite frankly, that was something she wished was true. Pulled from her thought process by the girl's probing question, blue eyes lit and she glanced away from them.
"I was just curious, I suppose. Not looking for anyone in particular.." That was a lie, and her sister probably knew that. Asko knew of Gansaku's relations with Beppin, but did she know of Riou's? It was a gamble, and she didn't want to make herself look suspicious, if it was the case she didn't. Leaning her head back against her arms, she let out a muffled groan. She had a few .. questions for Beppin, but .. there was never a safe way to approach the woman. She always won, damnit! "But I uh .. I do have to go. Look after Narumi for me, will you, Asko?" Riou stood up suddenly, and headed off toward the door. Such a busy body.
