Ah, so much wonderful knowledge that could be revealed by a simple book. In such a large library, one small object such as this wouldn’t be missed… especially since the information was nothing more than the basics of the basics any shinobi would know. Academy jutsu- that’s all they were. It wouldn’t be missed… he’d return it when he was finished. Or.. Perhaps Azrael would take an interest in it. Either or, it seemed he’d be holding onto the material a bit longer than he had first expected. After adjusting the lenses resting upon the bridge of his nose, Kazbiel opened the book to the first page.

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Switch Skill)

A technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a large log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. In the anime, a scarecrow, a boulder, and even mud has been used as a body substitute, though this may not be considered canonical by few fans. A fairly common Jutsu, it is one of the basic Jutsu that a Ninja must learn before graduating to the Genin level. This technique, however, is not strictly limited to the Naruto series, as it is sometimes referred to as Utsusemi no Jutsu (Art of Body Projection) in other manga and animation series. A User can NOT switch with an enemy or a person due to the fact that everything is attempted base. You must attempt to grab the person first to switch him with you, before the technique can occur.

“Used to replace oneself with the nearby inanimate…” the man murmured to himself, crimson optics scanning the area around him. He’d placed himself in the nearest park, sitting comfortably on a bench with one leg draped over the other. There wasn’t much here, as it was rather late into the evening. There was snow… more snow… a bit more snow over there, and the occasional pedestrian that walked by. Needless to say, the living were much more appealing to practice this on, but he doubted they would be so willing. The clicking of his blades against the bench could be heard as he stood, his hand gripping the hilt as he unsheathed the katana, approaching the nearest tree.

With a swift motion, a branch was severed from the main part of the plant, landing with a thud on the white-covered earth. After simply staring at the dead flora for a moment, his hands came together, forming seals that would activate the tenketsu within his body. It took only a moment for his chakra to begin flowing in the needed manner, and suddenly, a puff of smoke enveloped the angel. The burst of air caused the cerulean tresses to flip about, and when he realized what had happened, he was in a new place. Specifically, he resided right where the branch had been, and the branch now where he had been.

’Simple enough…’ But it was best to always double check the supposedly ‘completed’ tasks. Seals were formed once again, and Kazbiel’s eyes settled on the target to swap with. Another surge of chakra throughout each limb, and the smoke appeared once more; the perfect cover up for such a magnificently simple stunt. Oh, but such a trick would be useful he was sure. Lifting himself back up to the proper position, he pat his hands along his pants and shirt, removing any traces of snow that may have decided to stick to the fabric. Back to the book, it was time to see what his next lesson involved…

Jibaku Fuda: Kassei (Exploding Tag: Activate)

Effect: The user is capable of activating a different type of Exploding tags. By utilizing their chakra in which they placed upon the tag before hand the user is capable of making the tags explode out forth in a devistating fasion.

Description: A Simple technique where the user performs the Ram seal as they utilize a fraction of their chakra into the very Tag, allowing the tag to explode forth. The tag looks like yellow wordings and is not the familiar red wordings along the tag. Each tag that is used must be done before hand, and this is used as a time mechanisim in order to be capable of being used.
Limit: An academy Jutsu that all is capable of performing if they wish to do so.

The next thing in the book was not based on the user themselves, but rather the use of their chakra to activate an extremely useful weapon that, luckily, Kazbiel had on him at the time. The seal of the ram was required to detonate the chakra placed inside of the tag, creating a beautiful and deadly explosion. Or, and explosion that would be deadly, if it were used in the correct manner. Simple enough, for these Angel’s were sly. Many a trick had been pulled in the past, so surely setting up a slip of paper to be used to his advantage would be no problem at all for the Kamyuja. Especially when the male had wings on his side, it was much easier to scatter their placement.

A single tag was pulled from his pocket, being held momentarily between his middle and index finger. For a moment, all he did was stare at the item, studying it and considering the abilities it held. So, such a small seal held such power? He couldn’t help but wonder, could such combustable writing be applied to things outside of the tag? Bah, these thoughts were irrelevant. Shaking his head a small bit, the tall figure pressed it firmly against the truck of the tree he had previously assaulted. It was just one tree in the entire park- they weren’t going to miss it. Although, the burst of noise could very likely disturb some.

Their problem.

He took a few steps back, tilting his chin downward so that he could peer over the rim of the glasses resting upon his features. All seemed normal… though he really wouldn’t know for sure until it was activated. He let out a steady breath, pushing up the sunglasses once more, lest the light hurt his sensitive eyes. Tired of wasting time, he brought his hands together in the seal of the Ram. The reaction was instantaneous, the tag glowing softly and burning. The ember traveled along the whole of the paper, before, quite suddenly, it exploded. His wings wrapped about himself, shielding his body from any damage. That was… much louder than he had expected, and he knew now that he could no longer stay in this portion of the park.

Henge No Jutsu

Drawback: You can never gain the attributes of what you turn into. You are only capable of transforming into a human or animal that is of size, or few inches smaller. If hit once the user immediatly reverts back to their original state.
Description: When using the seals of the Dog, Boar, and Reverse Ram the user quickly transforms into any human or animal that is of size or a few inches smaller, or even a few feet larger. The user at this stage is only capable of holding the form for four turns at a time.

As he had planned to do, Kazbiel had quickly left the area he was previously in. Though he did not fear the residents or anything they could throw at him, conflict… didn’t seem all too appealing at this very moment, especially when there was no kind of pay involved. However, leaving the general area the tag had been set off at didn’t mean he was completely clear just yet. ’Shit.’ His wings were tucked tightly against his back, allowing his body to run swiftly for the most part. Regardless of his attempts at getting away, he knew people would be at the scene by this point, and other near by would likely be wondering where he was off to in such a hurry.

His pace had slowed to a speedy walk, so that he could flip through the book, hoping to find something that would take the trail off of the Adauchi. It was foolish, now that he thought about, Why had he set that blasted tag off in such a public area? He scolded himself, blaming it partially on the ache he felt in his eye sockets, and partially on simple distraction. The book, after all, was quite a nice read. Simple things such as this were wonderful ways to pass the time. Though, he preferred them to be without side effect. ’Henge no Jutsu,’ he read. It was a simple skill that allowed one to take on the appearance of another. Think quickly now… the book was tucked into his back pocket, and multiple images flashed through his mind. Something simple, something easy… His hands formed a short series of seals once a mental image had been created, and shortly after, a small plume of smoke surrounded him.

The once attractive male now took the appearance of a much elder character, hunched over wearing nothing but rags. His katana had been transformed into the image of a walking stick, making him seem like nothing more than a poor wanderer. It became quickly obvious however that his shift in form had been successful, for as he wandered further into town, people seemed to take less and less notice of him. The villagers around her were quite familiar with the group of Angel’s, so the fact that he went unrecognized was a compliment in itself.

Safely out of range, he cautiously glanced around once more before dispelling the jutsu. He sighed, adjusting his sunglasses once more before walking slowly through the capital. There was more reading to be done, and little time to have it all complete before his Family desired his presence once again. ’… where to now…?’

He released a yawn, scratching at the back of his head, stretching his brilliant azure wings once behind him to keep the blood flowing. The chilled air did wonders for creating stiff muscles, and Kazbiel idly wondered if perhaps he should be heading back to the cozy home he and the other Angel’s resided. The delicate crunching of snow echoed through this near abandoned portion of the city, the hands of the Kamyuja slipping into his pockets to keep those appendages protected from the offending weather. He really should have invested in a jacket at some point…

Suddenly, his walking slowed, coming to a complete stop as he peered over the frame of his shaded lenses. Orbs of crimson shifted from side to side as his brows came together in a distasteful manner. Something… wasn’t quite right here. Not necessarily with the surrounding trees or the outer walls of the few buildings here, but… the fact that another set of footprints had suddenly appeared before him. Of course, the area was snowy. Footprints were bound to appear and stay in place should anyone cross the pristine surface. Ah, but the Angel was an observant one. These were his footprints.

’Interesting… how I can manage to go in circles while walking in a straight line.’ He frowned. Aspiring shinobi from the ninja academy sometimes practiced their little tricks here. Unfortunate for them that he happened to be their target this time. Back to the little black book it seemed. Perfectly calm, the book was in his hand once more, the male licking his fingertips as he casually flipped through the pages. ’Kai… a basic technique used to cancel out genjutsu placed upon oneself…’ That seemed to fit his situation pretty well. His eyes were shut momentarily, allowing him to focus on the chakra flow within his being. Hardly lifting his hands higher than his navel, his fingers entwined, becoming the seal of the rat. “Kai.”

The scenery around him began to distort, shifting and dispersing, revealing what it was actually meant to be. Fresh snow was all that lay before him now, and with a glance over his shoulder, his previous footprints could bee seen clearly, the dips created by his boots casting a slight shadow into the depths. “You‘re no fun mister!” The youthful tone catching his attention, Kazbiel’s eyes glanced up at the rooftop. Upon the structure stood two children, most likely academy students as he had suspected. A simple scowl, and the elder male went on his way.

Oiroke no Jutsu (Sexy Skill)

This is simply a Henge used to transform the user into a beautiful, nude woman (or, like in episode 177 Oh? Please Mr. Postman! and the Naruto video games, a woman in a bathing suit); if the user is male, the woman's appearance is a beautiful, female version of his appearance. Naruto uses it to drive his instructors to distraction, sometimes leading to an exaggerated nosebleed by the victim, and it is indeed annoyingly effective. Naruto was forced to use this jutsu in order to receive training from Jiraiya. A variant of this technique is the Haremu no Jutsu (Harem Technique), in which Oiroke no Jutsu is used in combination with Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Doppelganger Technique) to produce multiple clones of a nude woman thus overwhelming the opponent.

“Hey! HEY! You can‘t just leave!” With that annoying prepubescent squeaking out once more, the Kamyuja gave an extremely irritated sigh. He disliked children, and his patience was already growing thin. The sound of snow crunching behind him caused him to do little more than glance over his shoulder, fiery blood-hued optics staring hard at the two youths in his vision. “You messed up our training, so now you have to help us out in other areas!” He arched a brow. Was… this child, hardly half his age, trying to give him an order? Casually, he turned; a slow rotation on the balls of his feet so that he could face the children.

And he stared, his hands in his pockets, those frightening eyes nearly piercing holes through this duo of foolish beings, and yet, the adolescents didn’t budge. It was… Impressive almost. The will of one seemed to be breaking, the child shrinking a bit and taking a step back. The one that had called to him, however, stayed firm. Interesting children, to say the least. Perhaps he’d humor them for at least a little while. “Yeah, you heard me!” the boy shouted once more, at this point drawing a kunai from a pouch at his hip. Kazbiel blinked. “So spar with me! N… No killing, but first blood wins!” His head tilted to the side. Was this child mad?

Fear shot through the boys heart as a sudden smirk crossed the face of the angel, his hands lifting to form a singular seal. Eyes widening, the boy held the kunai out at arms length. “N-n-no justu! Hand to hand only! P-please, I just want to learn!” His voice trembled along with his hands, but that was not enough to keep the Angel’s technique from manifesting. A scream erupted from the startled children as the jutsu was preformed, smoke enveloping the area… however, there were no negative or painful effects as far as they could tell. Eyes that had shut in terror cautiously slid open to exam the effects, and only widened more when they settled upon what exactly it had done.

A beautiful women stood before them now, lacking a sufficient amount of clothing. Her red eyes were enchanting; hypnotic, luring the optics of others to be locked firmly upon them. Her hair was of a beautiful midnight blue, cascading down her figure. Pursed lips had the frame of a pair of sunglasses pressed against them, and the maiden bat her lashes flirtatiously. That was all that needed to be done, and within seconds, the boy’s had been knocked out cold, falling over backwards with a generous amount of blood dripping from their nostrils. Without a word, the glasses were slipped back over ‘her’ eyes, and ‘she’ turned once more, smoke wrapping about the nude body as the jutsu was dispelled.

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Skill)
Type: GenJutsu

This is a basic technique known to most Genin. Bunshin no Jutsu creates a clone of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Like Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these clones will simply disappear if come into contact, but unlike Kage Bunshin, they are substanceless, and thus cannot do any damage. Bunshin no Jutsus have no Shadows what so ever

Reading material in hand once more, Kazbiel turned a corner, leaning up against a nearby lamp post as he read. Bunshin no Just… a simple technique that allowed the user to create a false image of themselves, most likely used to confuse the enemy. With a snap, the book shut, the mercenary looking off into the distance the night had to offer. A scarce amount of starlight glinted upon Father Sky’s evening gown, reminding him of the hours that ticked away. Perhaps he should leave this place… suspicion would rise from the townspeople if he continued to lurk about under the cover of darkness. If… it hadn’t already.

“You there!” A sigh and a roll of crimson eyes. Today just wasn’t his day, was it? By the tone of voice used, it belonged to some kind of figure that demanded authority; the local law-keepers in the town he supposed, whether this be a patrolling Yuki-shinobi, or just the standard city police. Either way, he didn’t feel like being interrogated at this point in time. Without so much as turning his head in the direction of his offender, Kazbiel quickened his step. It wasn’t hard for the sound of additional feet behind him to be heard. So, he was being pursued, was he? The edge of his lips twitched, displaying amusement, and suddenly his brisk walk became a full out sprint. Another corner was turned as his digits formed a short series of seals, his chakra rushing throughout the system in his body, the idea of the basic bunshin set firmly in his mind.

A soft ‘popping’ sounded as a thin layer of smoke came from his form. Interesting, that so many of these techniques seemed to result in some kind of mysterious smoke plume. What was it, he wondered? Burned chakra, or perhaps it was just to make the techniques all the more fancy? Whether it served some ‘purpose’ or not, he supposed it didn’t really matter. The technique itself had worked, made obvious as there was now a copy of him running at his side. It stopped in its tracks, turning to face the opposite direction Kazbiel had been running, while the true man of flesh and blood continued on his way.

Another moment or two of running, and he spread his wings, taking off into the air with a powerful leap. Gliding at this time of night didn’t interest him however, and thus, his wings were only extended for a short while; long enough to catch an air current and sit him nicely on the nearest rooftop. With the curios follower taken care of, perhaps he could focus on a few more interesting things…

“Hmm…” His eyes scanned the area, the dark wings of the Angel curling tightly about his body to aid in some kind of protection from the cold. A slow exhale, the breath condensing into a small cloud before his very eyes, displaying his displeasure with the situation unfurling before him. He hadn’t meant for it to turn out this way… a simple walk, a bit of reading, and placing a technique or four underneath his belt before coming back to his Family. He truly hadn’t expected to become some kind of wanted criminal in the span of a few hours. His crime? The destruction of nature. At least, that was what he assumed he had so many people on his tail for. He’d done no harm, he’d shed no blood, and yet, the debranching and uprooting of a single piece of plant-life seemed to be the equivalent to slaughtering half the capital. If they were so insistent on tailing and capturing him, he’d be more than willing to give them a good reason to do such.

He frowned, pursing his lips as he focused hard on the frozen earth below. No… it wouldn’t bode well in the future if his blade were to pierce the flesh of the innocents residing here. Then again, it wouldn’t work out well for either party in the end if he stayed here and ended up being caught. Indeed, the other Angels would frown upon him, likely seeing him in a slight different light that he’d much rather not have shined upon his figure. Being one of the older Adauchi, he supposed he needed to… set a ‘good’ example. They were mercenaries yes. They killed and thought nothing of it. However, killing for a price and killing solely for the reason of splattering crimson life essence upon the land were very different things. Motion was detected below, and with the lazy motion of his hand, the glasses were pushed further up the bridge of his nose.

’They want to play in the dark, do they…?’

The smirk that grew upon his face said more than any amount of words could have, those devilish eyes staring at the growing number of officials below him. That singular man from earlier had become three, and he was sure that more were to come. Things were going to get… complicated, if he remained here for too long. “All this for a tag…?” he muttered, crouching against the roof tile. His wings outstretched to their full length behind himself, as if preparing to life the body they grew from. But no, not this time. Flight would give his position away, and then he’d only be perused that much longer. He’d need to sneak around. Ah, the memories of days in the Akumu were flooding back to him; the oh so useful methods of stealth that had been demonstrated. The specific one that came to mind allowed on to shield their face and warp their eye-color to a terrifying amber. Sounded like something he could use right about now.

Hands flattening against the surface below him, the chakra within Kazbiel’s body manifesting in the form of his Dark Ki. The deep purple aura radiated, lapping at the frozen air like the flames of hell burning innocent souls. His eyes narrowed, focusing his mind and all negative emotions into the performing of this jutsu. Tendrils of darkness began to crawl up his body, slithering upon his appendages as if serpentine summons were greeting their master. He wet his lips, continuing to watch the discussion the Yuki-nin below were having. Upon his face the darkness crept, slipping over his features to mask them in a solidified shadow. One of the men below took off, the optics of the angel following as he went on his way. Scarlet had become orange as the colors began to shift, sliding along the color wheel until the new hue of yellow had been achieved.

This mask was interesting, though he could indeed see how it would be effective. If one could not have a clear view of your face, there was no chance that they could recognize you at a later time. Beneath that hardened darkness, the lips of Kazbiel became yet another twisted grin, unnoticeable by the ebony veil that covered the mans face. He continued to observe, watching with those devilish eyes for the first sign of an easy escape, and it soon appeared, each of the hired ninja taking off in a different direction, leaving no one to guard the area directly below him. He waited for another few seconds simply for the sake of safety, then with a deep breath, the Kamyuja slipped from the rooftops.

Chaos First Stage

Effect: This ability takes your chakra and fuses it with you emotion, mostly rage and anger. When using this ability you must have practice it for a long time or else it my be dangers. Chaos increases your strength and your ninjuts, but not speed for it will beomer sluggish. Your pupils of your eyes turn purple and you start to see everything in black n' white except things with chakra it show the person's chakra and color. Using this ability makes you unstoppable; you may get hurt but feel no pain until after wards, but the body doesn't care it keeps on moving . This ability last as long as your body can handle mostly 12 turns, but after wards your body feels like noodles and have terrible headache.

Drawback: The side effects of the first stage of chaos, you have the ability to fell no pain while you are using this technique the reason is. That your body shuts down the nerve fibers that transmit pain messages that are called “dorsal horn” Your brain responds to pain by sending messages that moderate the pain in the spinal cord. There, they release chemicals (neurotransmitters) that activate other nerve cells in the spinal cord, which process the information and then When pain messages reach your spinal cord, they meet up with specialized nerve cells that act as gatekeepers, which filter the pain messages on their way to your brain. For severe pain that's linked to bodily harm, such as when you touch a hot stove, the "gate" is wide open, and the messages take an express route to your brain. Weak pain messages, however, such as from a scratch, may be filtered or blocked out by the gate. While you are fighting the gate shuts close meaning no pain can come in and send it to the place it needs to go to tell you that your body is in pain, making you unstoppable. Then when chaos is over the gate is open and all the pain that was their rushes threw all at once causing great amount of pain.
Description: When it is activated the user's pupil of their eyes changes into a dark purple color . In order to activate it all the user has to do is channel a their chakra with their emotions which is difficult at first but as you practice it gets a lot easier ,this bringing the technique to the surface. While active it constantly consumes chakra but when deactivated your chakra slightly gets recovered faster. This allows the user to get incredible strong for a short period of time, and making them unstoppable as well, giving them the most perfect offense and defense, but making the user very sluggish in its speed. The ability of using this allows the user to see in black and white to let them see the chakra flowing around the person, making them more easier to spot out from the other people, even if they have mastered the way to hide their chakra. The reason for the eyes to change colors is so that it allows the user to track down their opponent.
Limit: Must be part of the Kamyuja bloodlimit, chaos only last for 9 turns.

The way down was much further than he had originally suspected. That’s what he received for not judging distance, he supposed. While the nin that had been down earlier were indeed interesting to observe, no mathematically equations judging the space between the roof and the frozen pathways had passed through his mind. He… also seemed to have neglected the possibility of window-sills. ’What the FUCK?’ His wings extended, the idea of flight suddenly much more appealing than the sudden collision of a windowsill with his kneecap. And of all the times for his eyes to begin to ache again… he winced, oddly curious as to why their ‘sensitivity’ was kicking in when there was no sun to harass them. With a mighty flap of his wings, a powerful gust of air shot off below him, pushing him back into the sky a bit. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to change his course.

It was a very interesting series of events to follow; he wouldn’t deny that. As predicted, the sound of his knee bashing against the protrusion was quite loud, and was expected to hurt a great deal. Perhaps the force wasn’t enough to crack the surface of his kneecap, but that wouldn’t make the pain of walking any more tolerable than it was going to be once the foul sensation ran its course. Which was exactly why this was peculiar. There was now foul sensation. In fact, Kazbiel felt nothing at all. Needless to say, he was entirely confused, not only by the lack of pain upon impact, but because for a brief moment his entire world had gone grayscale. Flipping midair, the mercenary landed on his feet, snow crunching as he tucked his wings in once more.

’What was that…’ The crimson eyes, currently gold, simply blinked in a confused manner, trying to clear this sudden lack of pigment his eyes were taking in. It seemed to fade in and out, the standard colors of reality at times shifting to the dull pastel of a washed out photograph. Other times, there was no color at all, his vision completely black and white. He lifted a hand, covering his left optic as both in the pair shut tightly, hoping the complete absence of any kind of light would somehow snap his visual perception back into order. Two seconds… his temples throbbed, the irregular chakra flow around his sockets becoming intense for a moment. Peculiar, since he would expect such a thing to give him one hell of a headache, yet no such pain was bestowed upon the cranium of the Adauchi.

Three seconds… He cracked an eye open, morbidly curious as to the progress of his vision. No changes whatsoever. Still a distorted, ever-changing realm of pigment, at times falling back into that two tone division. He groaned, eyes slamming shut once more. He couldn’t go anywhere if he couldn’t see. Well… he could see, but moving when the colors he viewed were similar to a bad acid trip not only through off his equilibrium; it made him rather sick to his stomach. Five seconds… Unbeknownst to him, his eyes had taken on a dramatic change. While they still retained the golden hue the Kuroi Akumu technique had given him, his pupils were no longer the spots of ebony held by the standard mortal. Rather, they’d become amethyst, easily seen in good lighting thanks to the complementary color his optics currently had.

Through clenched teeth he hissed, aggravated to a whole new level at this deranged visual. In taking a deep breath, he exhaled, willing to give this one more shot. Whatever demon had plagued his eyes, it was successfully pissing him off. Slowly, his lids opened, and he scanned the area. Colors were normal… no distortion, no grey area, except those which were effected by shadows. Relieved Kazbiel sighed… until it hit him. His nerves; every ounce of pain he had over the time frame suddenly hit him like a ton of bricks. His knee, his head, everything. The Angel could contain himself no longer. Grasping at his knee, a pained noise pressed out from between those clenched teeth, and in an empty ally way, such a thing was easy to hear.

Once he’d realized what he’d done, it was too late. A hand quickly lifted, slapping over his mouth, hopeful that somehow, someway, the outburst could be pulled back into his vocal cords and the sound would go unnoticed. Highly unlikely… but the thought was nice. His knee ached like nothing else, but he could walk, and if he could walk, then he could get the hell out of here. At least, he hoped that was how it was going to work. Kazbiel waited, listening, not daring even to breathe if it would allow him to better hear any changes in the environment. Thanks to the snowy ground, if any should happen to approach, he’d hear them, their feet crunching against the ivory surface. Hearing nothing, he slowly let out a breath, running his fingers through the azure tresses upon his head. Wincing a small bit, he stood, hoping that his eyes didn’t once again start acting up on him.

Unfortunately, such things never worked out so well for him. All was well for a while, stepping quickly but silently through the roadways, trying to get out and back to his family as quickly as possible. While training was a regular part of all of their lives, he had a deep desire to get inside and out of the cold. The pace of the Adauchi slowed suddenly, his ears picking up the unmistakable, spaced resonance of footsteps that were not his own. He cursed under his breath, which, as slight as the noise may have been, must have been enough to alert those in his general vicinity. Silence fell in the area once more, remaining strong for a full three seconds before the steps began once again, drawing closer, becoming faster. And his vision… becoming grey once more.

’Goddamnit, not again… not now…’ It was ridiculously inconvenient for such a thing to occur right now. Perhaps if he wasn’t in the middle of trying to escape without harm to himself or others, this wouldn’t be such a big deal. But as it stood currently, someone was going to get hurt if he kept this up. There did seem to be one bizarre benefit to this warping however, in that his eyes no longer had the flickering that they had a few moments ago. They’d settled on a single color spectrum, which happened to be the lack of color overall. Grayscale, which in the dark of the night, really didn’t matter all that much to him. Although, he could see this change being quite annoying in situations where color separation was important. Hopefully this wasn’t permanent…

That wasn’t however, the ‘beneficial’ part. His ears had been enough to alert him to the approaching threat, and one could assume his eyes would not be of much use here. That, however, was where they were wrong. Though they saw no color, and saw no true ‘figure,’ he was, however, seeing the unmistakable tendrils of chakra radiating from the wandering Yuki nin; the only color he could see in this two tone vision, displayed as a light blue, drawing ever nearer. These evil eyes of his… was this what the suspected sensitivity had truly been? Unaffected by light at all, but rather an irregular flow of chakra to his ocular organs? He was indeed unsure of his origin, so it was possible that there were thing the Akumu clan had not told him…

He hadn’t been aware that he was staring, but it began obvious when the source of the radiating chakra suddenly stopped before him. Curious as to why the Yuki shinobi’s progress had ceased, he slowly exhaled, allowing his mind to relax. Color began to seep back into the surroundings, and the shinobi before him was… gone? ’He’s invisible.’ It didn’t take even another full second for him to react. The imperfect Chaos was thrown into activation once more, the male dashing forward. His blade was withdraw just enough to slam his hilt into the gut of the stationary nin, who let out a grunt, collapsing to the snow. “How…” he wheezed, “how did you…?”

He gave no further consideration to the weakened shinobi, unable to stand due to having the wind knocked out of him. Not a single word came from Kazbiel, who click his katana properly back into its sheathe. Quickly, the disguised eyes darted about. That was only one out of the group that had assembled. More were present, making their own rounds, trying to find the ‘criminal’ hidden in the night. It was a tag. One damn tag and part of a tree. Why did these people care so much? He scowled, blinking and walking slowly, keeping his senses sharp for any signs of the enemy. These… chakra viewing abilities were certainly useful. Of course they’d only apply if he was actually looking in the direction his opponent was located.

Quite suddenly, his upper body jerked, lurching forward a bit. He planted his feet firmly into the ground, keeping himself from taking a rather ungraceful fall forward. What was that? It… seemed as if something had hit him, but he’d felt nothing. He did, however, hear the steady rhythm of liquid dripping upon a surface. With the grayscale color he saw through, he was unable to differentiate the color of the thick substance now dripping upon the white snow. Should Chaos be deactivated however, he’d see quite well that it was of a crimson hue. He reached over his shoulder, feeling the surface there. It was warm, slightly sticky, and now had a piece of cold steal sticking from it.

Gripping at the item, he quickly pulled it from his flesh, brining it before himself to better exam it. A kunai… nothing special. No poisons, no additional prongs. Just a lucky shot. Tossing it off to his right, he slowly turned, looking over his shoulder towards the offending shinobi. Though he felt no pain, he was no less upset about the strike to his shoulder. This was a nice shirt… and now it had a crimson splotch that he didn’t quite enjoy. He preferred his clothing blue, not… purple. He glared, and the nin took a step back, his hand reaching for the weapon pouch about his thigh. Needless to say, the Adauchi wasn’t particularly fond of the idea of having an additional secondary weapon imbedded in his flesh, whether he felt it or not.

Snow kicked up as he rushed along the street, hand on his blade just as it had been moments ago. The blue aura of his opponents chakra seemed to flare up a bit, as if threatening to gather in a specific point on his body, forming some type of ninjutsu to harm the Angel to an even further extent. ’Don’t think so…’ A single hard hit to the stomach sent him to his knees, clutching at the stricken area as he gasped for breath. Giving a slight sigh, Kazbiel rolled his eyes, sheathing the blade fully once more before going on his way. At least, he had thought that was how things were going to work. Pressure against his ankle caused him to look down where he found, yet again, a piece of steel sticking out above his ankle. A senbon this time. Less devastating, but just as annoying,

Lifting his leg, he pulled the weapon from his limb, scowling at it. It wasn’t so much the fact that he’d been hit that bothered him, as much as it was the pain he’d be feeling later. This dugouts, he discovered, disabled his ability to feel pain. It was an extremely useful thing while it lasted, but the moment the eyes deactivated, it all rushed to his brain in one huge, sensory overload. A bit overwhelming, to say the least. But he could dwell on that later. Right now, he needed to get far enough away;. Far enough away from the capital so that once his eyes deactivated, no one could hear the pained outburst, and allow him to wrap his wounds in peace.

And possibly change his clothing.
