Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Picture The leading foot should be pointed straight, while the other is positioned to angle at ninety degrees whilst raising the heel of the back foot. Both the knees and the body are straight, designed to create posture. The chin must remain in the same posture as the shoulders; in essence, this means that the user must lower their chin to be level with the shoulders, while raising the shoulders and the arms for guarding purposes. The next step is to grasp the hands, keeping them raised to face level, crafting a guard with the forearms to allow defending against oncoming attacks. The eyes are straight forward, locking onto the opponent's abdomen for full view of oncoming strikes against the upper or lower body.
Limit: Must be taught by a Muay Thai Master, or must take a small schooling, or simply watch how one does it.
Kotaro walked through the Water Country as it were still evacuated all of it's inhabitants in the underwater base. Kotaro wasn't trusting of the Meikei who were aiding the Mist village. The silence of the country was irking Kotaro as it reminded him of his days stranded. Kotaro walks slowed as he had a flashback of those days. With those days also welled up the animal instinct repressed by humans.
Kotaro hunched over as he loss his civility and was in search for a prey. He caught the scent of hares in a nearby clearing. He waited in the trees as his nose was correct as hares hopped around playfully. Kotaro pounced onto the hares but was intercepted by what seemed to be a knee to his ribs. Kotaro rolled on his side as he rebounded and snapped back to reality.
A young man stood before him, his guard up, his legs spread evenly. Kotaro shook his head to snap out of the trance he had been in. "Sorry, you had to see that." Kotaro said apologizing. The young man eased up... "It's alright." he said as he bowed. "What was that technique." Kotaro said as he felt the pain in his ribs. "It's Muay Thai. It all starts with this." The young man got back into his stance.
He bought up his arms to his face, his chin down to his shoulder level. His eyes kept a lock on Kotaro. He is knees were bent slightly his stance was even in all directions. Kotaro watched closely. "As you witnessed, Muay Thai is capable of powerful knee strikes and elbow strikes." The young man settled down again. "But it's all about conditioning, you caught me in the middle of my run."
Kotaro smiled as he said. "It should be the other way around, you caught me. But anyway I'm intrigued. I gotta try this." Kotaro stood up dusting himself off. He took a deep breath as he tried to copy what the young man had shown him. Kotaro put his hands up near his face. He bought his chin down... down to the level of his shoulders. Kotaro opened his stance to his dominant side as he spread his feet apart.
The young man walked over as he studied Kotaro's stance. "Good... Good... I an see your ferocity in your stance" The young man continued to inspect Kotaro's stance. "I think you have talent." Kotaro got out of the stance. The young man cleared his throat. "I will take you on as my student as i am a master of Muay Thai."
