The day is just beginning, the sun is just beginning to rise from it's slumber, just as many of the sand village's finest Shinobi. Inside of a small room riddled with empty ink bottles, brushes with only a few bristles left on the end and various intricate ink drawings on scrolls, along with a painting of a boy smiling widely with a Kunai in one hand, a calligraphy brush in the other a small bed adorns the ground with old, plain looking black sheets, between them Kakaru Li sleeps. With a pillow over his head slightly and a second one under it Kakaru sleeps soundly, a bit of drool escaping his mouth as he sleeps soundly. Suddenly a loud "THUD" is heard as Kakaru falls out of his bed, hitting his head on the night stand littered with empty glass ink bottles and one half full one. All the bottles fall around Kakaru as he wakes up suddenly, his eyes opening quickly and yelling "I didn't do it!"
Kakaru looks around and notices that he'd rolled out of bed and clutches his head as his room's door opened and Kakaru's father walks in a bit, a tall, thing man with a nearly sickly pale skin and the same hair style as Kakaru his Piercing Blue eyes look over the room. He is dressed in a black Men's Kimono with small white designs on it. He looks at Kakaru on the floor and sighs "Since you're up... so, errr... Early... you can start your training." Kakaru sits up quickly and looks to his father while rubbing the back of his head, "Dad... it's like... 6:00 in the morning, I'll get up and start training when the Kazekage gets up. I'm sure he sleeps in." Kakaru's father looks to Kakaru and laughs while saying "Son... the Kazekage, Heero-sama is one of the FIRST to wake up in the morning. It's his job to help protect our village you know."
Kakaru sat, a bit stupefied looking at the glass containers around him, miraculously not broken. "Dad... teach me a clan technique... you haven't taught me on since we left after I graduated!" Kakaru 's father looked down at him and smiled "Of course son. Get dressed and meet me in the common space." Kakaru looks overjoyed as his eyes lit up and he threw his blanket off and ran to his dresser, only dressed in a pair of boxers.
- 30 minutes later -
Kakaru comes running from his father's apartment and into the common space area where all the residences of the building would socialize. A few people are sitting on pillowed cushions talking and laughing. Kakaru noticed his father sitting on the ground, A scroll in front him, a clay bowl of dirt on the left, an empty earthen-ware pot in the middle and a large clay pitcher of water on the right. Kakaru's father looked up at him and lays out his hand in front of him. "Sit down my son, today you'll be learning the Tsuchi Mizu Konbe technique." Kakaru walks quickly over to his father and sits down looking at the bowls in front of him. His father pointing to the water, He says "Pour about a cup of water into middle bowl please Kakaru" Doing what he was told, Kakaru pours a bit of water into the bowl in the middle. Now pointing to the dark brown dirt, Kakaru's father says "grab a large handful of this soil and add it to the water." Kakaru does so, making a muddy slurry of muddy water. "Now, this is the tricky part my son, preform the Ram and Monkey handseals, begin concentrating your chakra into your fingers and begin stirring until it thickens. Now try."
Kakaru makes the Ram and Monkey Handseals and begins concentrating a bit of chakra into his index finger he begins stirring, immediately the water and soil begins thickening, turning Ebony and glossy. Suddenly, the inky water reverts back to just muddy water. "When you can make ink from these two very simple elements of life... you will have learned this technique." Kakaru's father says as Kakaru stares at the bowl.

Tsuchi Mizu Konbe (Soil & Water Combination)
Rank: D-Rank
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates ink that may be used for Li clan jutsu if the user runs out during combat.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: The quality of the ink is sub-par to the quality of bought ink, meaning that if used for most forms of art, the work will be substandard.
Description: Quickly performing a small amount of handseals, the user focuses on a portion of water that is either on the ground or has at least ¼ earth in it. The chakra infusing into the water will cause the water to spin around rapidly, quickly becoming darker and thicker as the soil is mixed very well. Within a few seconds, the user will have gained a new supply of ink in which to use for more Li clan jutsu.
Limit: Li Clan Jutsu, requires Doton and Suiton to use.
