Alone he was…finally. His mother was nowhere in sight. That was a relief. Skye sighed as he entered his own backyard. His private haven where he could train, cause destruction, and wreak havoc all he liked without anyone interrupting him, save his mother. But she was off doing who knows what. And his team was off doing their own thing. Skye honestly wondered if they were about to do the same thing he was. Were they going to train also? Or are they just screwing around?
Skye began to prepare for his next challenge. The Will of Kratos style of fighting was what waited ahead. It only seemed a natural calling for him. A destructive “medical” style? Skye was probably not to choose only one life path. A life of pure healing or pure killing was definitely not meant for him. After all he was born to an assassin AND a medic. Contradictions of the heart were indeed present.
Warming up and meditation was most likely a good idea before any real training was to begin. Skye took a seat on a large rock. He sat down on the hard surface and crossed his legs. Relaxing his body, he began to clear his mind of all unnecessary thoughts that didn't pertain to his current situation. That objective didn’t take long to reach. Skye was usually focused before he even stepped into his haven. Next, Skye practiced his control and release.
He faced the open air as he curled his hands into fists. At first he just let the chakra flow into his fists, letting it build up with time, then releasing it. He ignored the how much chakra for the moment, and just got used to the feeling of the control and release. As he became more and more accustomed to the feel, he started to regulate how much chakra he put in. He felt himself tire a little at the beginning for not being precise. However, now he was fairly sure that he was conserving the right amount.
After his warm up, it was time to move on to the heavy stuff. World shaking. No fancy name..just “world shaking.” Skye was to gather chakra into his index finger and slam it into the ground causing it to break into a small fissure. World shaking? A small fissure is nowhere close to the world, either way it sounded easy enough.
Skye looked at the ground. His legs were spread not too far apart. He held his hand out and started to gather and hold a fair amount of chakra into his right hand’s index finger. He figured at this point it’d be best to go with the dominant hand. As soon as he thought he was ready, he dropped his knee and braced his finger for impact. Moment of truth…His finger hit the ground, Skye’s body tensed. His finger stood only slightly piercing it. Skye bit his tongue out of pain. You can’t really blame him. Even a small injury like that can hurt twice as bad. It had the same ill effect as stubbing your toe.
Didn’t build up enough chakra. Need a little bit more. Skye massaged his finger, trying to make it more relaxed and less stiff from the previous encounter with the ground. He stood feet spread again, his right hand out, and began to mold chakra into his finger again. Bracing himself, he dropped his knee and slammed his finger into the ground. Once again, moment of truth…his finger hit the ground. A large pot hole appeared and his finger still slightly hurt. Close…but no cigar…
They say third time is the charm right? Skye was ready to test that theory out. He was close. He was pretty sure that he only needed a bit more power built up and he would be fine. Like his last two attempts he stood feet apart, right hand out, chakra in his finger. And once again he dropped his knee, finger headed straight to the ground. And for what Skye hoped would be the last time, waited for the moment of truth.
