Wandering Butterfly [to wind capitol]

It was time to proove herself as a Shinobi of the Grass and also show her worth to the Kage. Her goal, the land of Wind, to meet with the leader of the sand village. The concept left her a bit uneasy...was the man kindly? Was he gentile or brutish? All would be revealed in time, but for now, she needed to travel through the land of Rain to reach the expansive deserts of the land of wind.

As she strolled through the vibrantly colored grassy fields of her beloved home, a flurry of butterflies playfully fluttered arround her. As the road moved on, a fine mist began to roll over the area. The playful butterflies quickly returned to their host to escape the moisture as their wings would surely be rendered flightless in the weather. The farther she walked, the thicker the mist became until eventually it changed into a light drizzle. Great... Yura moaned to herself...I didnt pack an umbrella

The sopping wet girl slugishly trudged through the muddy roads of the country. She hated the rain. Beads of water trickled from her amethyst hair down her pallid complection. Her insides flitted with the unease of the butterflies. They hated the moisture as much as she.

"What a depressing place...." Yura sighed. "Why in the world would anyone want to live in such a...moist country?" The rain continued to fall from the grey sky into the ever present puddles of the rain country. After what seemed like an eternity of rain, the drizzle trickled to a stop. A feeling of relief swept over her and the uneasy insects settled their fear of the rain. The damp ninja noticed a change in the surroundings of the road. What was thick forestry and underbrush was now thinning. The trees were shorter, and the emerald color of the leaves was changing to a sickly yellow. The farther she walked, the scarcer the vegitation became.

The soil was becoming sandy and the only vegitation left was the gnarled thorny tendrils of twisted plants. Cacti began to speckle the landscape and the temperature was steadily rising. At first the added heat was a relief, and her kimono was soon dry and the butterflies playfully flitted through the air. But the farther she walked, the heat became more than the grass kunoichi was use to and the lack of humidity made her...uncomfortable. Great...another uninhabitable country... She needed to find a ninja to take her to the gate of the village, and then make an appointment with the Kazekage.

Uug.... Was the only sound that escaped her dried lips. This heat was unplesant, and the lack of moisture made her butterflies unhappy. Slowly her feet trudged through the sand. The weary ninja tried to keep pace, however sluggish it was. Beads of sweat formed on her brow and her amethyst hair drooped limply over her sholder. She now begged for the rain of her previous destination, how foolish she was to curse the precipitation. Her hand floated to her bag and removed her map. "Maybe i'll have better luck at the capitol. It's probably at least habitable there." The parchement was rolled back into a tube and replaced in her item pouch. Destination in mind, all that was left to do...was walk.

Over an Intercome throughout the whole city, a loud screached could be heard as the sound of an echoeing disruption could be heard. Then without notice eight bells rang. This was to gain the attention of all Ninja who were around at this present moment.

"This is KazeKage Nidaime reporting to all civilians, and to all Ninja part of our beloved City of Sand who is currently residing in the Capital City of Wind Country. The Chuunin Exams registration will be starting shortly, please report to the Kage Tower in the Village of Sand if you are particapating. We are at another time where the exams will show our power to the world and to the other nations. We must show that Sand is ready for any type of problem that may be brought upon us. This is another time to bring forth and show that Sand is a force to be terrified of. Report to the Kage Tower within the Village of Sand, so we may know who is particapation and then we may watch you with pride."

The bells rang once again as the intercom grew silent, there was no sound emitting out as those began to wonder upon their daily lives yet once again.

The rustling sand, the soft feel against one's feet. It was time for a drink, something hard, something rough, something to put hairs along a man's chest. That was the time, i twas needed. As the gentle winds brushed by the warrior of the Sands moved along as he sighed ever so gently continuing forth, moving, smiling within, feeling, wondering, thinking about how the exams went along.

Through the days, through the loving beautiful day a warrior slowly walked on through. A small smile came across his face as he chuckled some to himself. He would move on through as the heat beated down against his armor that covered his whole body like that of a Shogan warrior. The great beast snake slithered beside the warrior as he continued to walk looking around trying to find the right place to go to. To be honest he wanted something to drink, he really wanted something to drink, but what, that was the question.
