Once again Toshi would bite down into his lip as he noticed the girl following him, half of him was glad that she had followed him… he had the strange and unexplainable urge to protect this captivating young woman; but the other half of him was disappointed by the fact that he did not want her to see the actions he would soon carry out, it was a scar that too some would never heal to most normal people. As much as he wanted to think about it now, he had more pressing matters to attend to and would have to push those thoughts aside until later. For now he had to continue into the building, he would step further inside and take a look around taking note of the stairs leading to the upper level and the faint red light visible underneath the door.
Once again it was time for a decision, something that Toshi’s past did not speak well for him about. Of course, he also did not forget to rule out being followed. He did not check earlier but it would obvious to assume some one was coming; after all he had just escaped from over a dozen guards in the mansion that was not all too far away. To deal with this problem however, he had already formulated a plan; his hand would slide down into his pouch and pull out a medium sized bottle of ink which he would place on the ground in front of him before doing a few hand seals. His chakra would flow into the ink and reshape its very structure into something that would be of great use given the current situation.
Keeping in mind that his pursuers were not ninja, he would make sure Natsuki was inside and slide the door shut behind them, which served to increase the darkness around them. He would then take the ink and pour some of it into each of the hinges on the door and then more into the crack between the door and the frame on the side with the handle where the locking mechanism would be. This ink was extremely sticky and to most people without any chakra enhancements or techniques would have quite a hard time opening it; thus sealing the door off to any of the body guards that were lacked ninja training.
Now that his back had been covered, at least for now, it was time to think about where to head next inside the house. Most things he thought about too hard in this kind of situation would just serve to confuse him so he made a quick decision and went with it, there would be a few quick steps and his foot would rise and the sole of his boot would slam into the door with a solid straight kick, most likely sending the door crashing inward and revealing whatever was emanating the strange red light to both Toshi and Natsuki. After taking a good look at the room he would turn and sprint down the stairs.
