After mooving along for a while, Neoku realized just how worn out he was. All this traveling for the past few weeks was something he wasn’t meant for. His time was the gory bloody fights and challenging mission that required strength and precision. So, after moving along for a short amount of time, he stopped and sunk back into Tai’s subconscious mind to resurface at a later time. Initially, Tai’s body nearly collapsed as the change took place and he took control again. It was like taking your first breath of life. At first his eyes grew wide in a mild bit of surprise as he gathered his surroundings. It was a wooded area, perhaps outside of the mekei base. It was as well a place as any to train. And so, Tai decided to try the first step toward the first a great specialized form of taijtus, the weapon specialist. The technique he had to learn was the weapon sealing technique
Tai attached his scroll pouch to his left leg. He then pulled the weapon scroll from his pouch, then opened it. Observing it, he could see each spot where a weapon would be sealed. He’d heard that main weapons could be sealed within. To test that, he took out his katana and tried to seal it. He began to run off the hands slowly, to make sure he had it right. After that, he channeled his chakra into the scroll. He noticed that a few of the symbols had begun to glow. Starring down at it, he was in denial. He didn’t believe that he’d get his katana in. Even with his limited knowledge of weapon scrolls, he was definitely sure that he wanted more of the symbols to respond to his chakra. So, he put away his katana and took out his pouch of secondary weapons.
Holding the scroll between the bottom of his hands, he started making the handsigns again. When he finished with the ram, he channeled chakra into the scroll. Next, he opened the scroll and began to observe the symbols. He could only see one of the 30 symbols that had responding. Although this was nowhere near acceptable, he decided to try to seal a kunai inside. He picked up the kunai and slowly began to press it to the seal. At first, nothing happened, despite the fact that he was pushing on the seal. He tried again slowly, and still it would not respond. By that time, too much time had gone by, and the seal had faded back to a normal color. Picking the scroll back up, he channeled again, and began to force chakra into the scroll he had been using. Quickly, he did the dog, boar, then ram hand seals in that order. Immediately, he could feel something happening with the scroll. Realizing that the one seal that had responded so far had gone off after a second, he quickly opened up the scroll with his hands to see that same symbol lighting up. In a rushed haste, he grabbed one kunai and shoved it into place. When the kunai hit the symbol, it seemed as though something had opened up in the scroll. His first signs was the ripple that appeared where the symbol had been. As he pressed down more, he felt his hand slipping through along with the kunai. He now had his whole had submerged inside the scroll. The material itself felt weird but it felt somewhat familiar, like a pocket, and really big pocket. Remembering that after few seconds, the scroll’s symbol stopped responding, he thought about what would happen it the scroll cut off with his hand still inside of it. A number of scenarios cut into his mind. The first one being that the scroll would simply be stuck to his arm until he redid the hand seals. But with one hand caught inside the scroll, he have to do them one handed. He thought that would be very unfortunate, especially being that he’d yet to know a single one. They were very high difficulty techniques, each requiring a heavy amount of skill and training to use. It would probably take him weeks to get the scroll off. Then, the next scenario that came to his mind was far worse. He imagined the scroll sealing and cutting through the flesh of his arm. It would be very, very painful. Realizing that he still held his hand inside, he brushed aside these crazy thought, and yanked his hand out. Not a moment too soon either. Just as his hand came free, he watched the surface of the scroll become paper like fabric as the symbol reappeared. It was still lighting, but faintly. The next second, the symbol faded back to a dull color.
Sealing away a single kunai had been a success, but what about when he wanted it back? Tai quickly ran his hand over the point on the scroll where he had just put the kunai. He couldn’t feel a spot where it had been, but he could tell it was there from where the symbol was. Channeling chakra once more, he made the handseals for the weapon sealing technique. When he finished, he placed his hand on the symbol inside the scroll. Instantly, the pattern on the scroll shifted and began to waver on that spot. When he stuck his hand in, he could feel the kunai he had just placed within. Quickly, he removed his hand before anything could happen. A second later, he had the kunai in his hand, though the symbol had stopped glowing and the scroll was back to normal.
