((The Devil's Throat))
((The Devil's Throat))
Description:[/u]
A prison is more then a location to place a village’s criminals in. A prison is to be considered to be more of a “monument” in essence. A monument erected in tribute to a village’s great dislike and hatred for a criminal or person. The Maximum Security Prison and Asylum ff Kumogakure no sato is called "Akumanodo", which translate to "The devils Throat". This special name has a profound and true meaning behind it as the halls of the prison is bathed daily in the screams and yells of its inmates. The Cloud village bears a deep dislike and hate for its enemies and so, deals out harsh punishment and torture to its captured foes. Inmates scream and yell so much from pain, agony and torture that their vocal cords literally “rupture”. The fine capillaries within the human larynx rip and tear from the continuous yelling and screaming, causing some inmates to literally "bleed from the throat"; thus the Prison is name "The Devils throat".
Location:
The prison itself sits on one of the Thunder Countries highest mountain peaks; apart of the caldera ring from which the cloud village sits in. Because of its location, no one may enter the Prison without going through the village first. The location in which the Prison is located in within the Mountain is of course, a secret. The only entrance and exit to the Prison lies within the village. One must transverse the villages forest, the villages tunnels, the village gate, the village itself, the path to the prison, and finally enter the prisons entrance there after (a giant "U-turn" in essences). Due to its location, the common heavy fog of the mountain, the unpredictable mountain weather, the use of concealing Genjutsu by AnBu, various Camouflaging techniques, the design of the building, and the treacherous of the mountain itself, an individual cannot merely "look for" and enter the Prison. Attempting to scale the mountain, search for and enter the Prison is impractical and impossible. Most individuals become lost, an/or die from the mountain and its harsh weather conditions.
The Prison is located on the South west mountain boundary line; lower region of the Cloud village (That’s well over 10 miles of unpredictable mountain side to transverse to reach the Prison from outside; not guaranteeing that you find it once the mountain is transverse either). If one travels through the village, the path which leads you to the prison is hidden, stationed 60 meters North east behind the Raikage’s tower perimeter location.
Pathway:
The prison path way itself is an restricted area within the Cloud Village. Only Chuunin ranked and higher individuals and/or Genin with Permission from the Kage tower may enter the pathway. Once given permission, one makes their way pass the right of Arnea to a small tunnel located within the Mountain (embedded in the same Pyro-clastic rock as the entire mountain). This tunnel is a small and very similar in design to the village gate tunnel; roughly 3 meters in height, 3 meters in width. AnBu stationed within this tunnel guard its entrance and patrol its tunnel system at all times. The tunnel is not as long as the main gate tunnel, and is roughly 50 meters in length. The tunnel is randomly laid with a few minor traps and dead end tunnels, but nothing to grand of a scale as the main gate. Once passed the tunnel system, one enters a small clearing, with the Prison located in front of the exit of the tunnel. This clearing is nothing grand as well, merely an empty space, roughly 20 meters sq in size. This clearing consists of a sea of steel barbed wire fencing, each fence reaching 10 meters in height, rows of 4 in all; firmly buried within the ground. There is one path that cuts through all of these, which is guarded by Anbu. The AnBu guard uses handseals instead of locks as a means to open and close all barb wire fence gates if need be.
Akumanodo:
Is a 4 story building, encircled by a fifth row of barbed wire fencing (roughly 20 meters high). The Building itself is composed of Reinforced steel, cement and brick, making it very strong and durable both inside and out. The walls of the building may range from a thickness of 2-3 feet at any given location. The windows of the prison are not located within the rooms of the prison cell. It was considered a luxury, so instead, the windows are located only in the first floor Prison guard rooms and no where else. Even then, the windows of the prison contain 2 inch this reinforced steel bars, blocking the any possible use for escape.
The first floor of the Prison is used strictly used by the guards. It serves as not only their resting place, eating area, and locker rooms, but also their main security center and communications room (which has direct access to the Raikage’s tower). Many enter this location to speak with stationed guards and or order to complete assignment here as well.
The second floor of the Akumanodo contains a small court room. Here, court room trials are held and cases are solved. The court room is typical in its design, and can house up to 20 people max. There are two rooms as well, one for the Judge’s personal use, and one for the Juror’s personal use. The second floor contains a kitchen as well, which services the entire building. Food is delivered by hand by guards.
((Prison Halls))
Description:[/u]
The entrance to the third floor prison hall ways is considered and indestructible pathway by some. There are three doors in used here. One door leading to the stair to the third floor, one door at the entrance of the third floor and one final door used as a security measure and entrance to prison halls. Each door is roughly 2 meters in height, 1 meter in thickness and 1.5 meters in width. The door is composed of a composite material of lead and Iron, making it extremely durable and hard to penetrate. The doors are windowless, and have no small openings to which matter may pass through (in and around the door). Anbu use communication devices to pass through each door and to warn each other of each others entrance/exit.
The hallways itself is a long corridor, roughly 25 meters long, 6 meters high. The prison contains roughly 15 prison cells on both sides of the corridors; 30 in total. There are no windows, no scraps, garbage, steel railing, or anything within the corridor. The walls of the corridor are reinforced steel and cement walls, with a 2 inch thick layer of Polyurethane shellac coating on every surface. This allows the hall ways to be very clean and empty, preventing the use of any possible scrap, brick, wall, metal, etc as a weapon. There are two Anbu guards stationed at either end of the hallway.
((Prisoner Cells))
Description:[/u]
Each room of the prison is very well designed and exact duplicates of one and another. The rooms are roughly 5 meters in width, length and 2 meters high. The door of the cell is roughly 2 meters in height, 1 meter in thickness and 1.5 meters in width. The door is composed of a composite material of lead and Iron, making it extremely durable and hard to penetrate. The doors are have one side window which is used by the guards for communication and food delivery; the door has no small openings to which matter may pass through (in and around the door). The entire cell room is comprised of thick, 2 foot thick reinforced steel and lead walls. There is no paint used on the room. Instead, every surface of the room is lined with one continuous coat of Polyurethane shellac. This allows the room to be very clean and very empty (no dirt, dust or water seeps into or is left in the rooms). The thick layer of Polyurethane is impossible to remove and adheres very tightly to the walls for the prison.
The toilet has no water within it, and merely uses gravity to do the work. A long tube roughly 3 inches in diameter exits into a large system of piping. The plumbing system used various grates, mesh and fencing within its network to prevents things from going in out. The toilet itself a hunk of lead and metal, which is also covered in a thick layer of Polyurethane shellac. There is no sink in the room.
The bed has no sheets, no coverings and no pillows. It to is a hunk of lead and Iron, coated with a thick layer Polyurethane shellac, preventing it form being used by any inmate. The bed is located roughly 4 inches off the floor, standard size for any inmate. There are no windows of the cell with the exception the slide door at the door. Lastly, the cell has no special footing, ledges, and/or gaps. It is one entire room, with Polyurethane shellac on all surfaces which prevents this.
At the opposite end of the hall way, another entrance is found and guarded by Anbu (as mentioned before). There are two doors in used here. One door leading to the stairway of the fourth floor, and one door at the top of the fourth floor entrance.
Once on the fourth floor, one witness a plethora of rooms used for interrogation and torture. There are 10 rooms on this floor, each one suiting a different need. The hallway on this floor is the same in design as the third floor; a long corridor, roughly 25 meters long, 6 meters high. The fourth floors has no windows, no scraps, garbage, steel railing, or anything within the corridor.
Inmate Information:[/u]
- All inmates are drained completely of chakra by guards on an bi-hourly basis. Guards may use chakra draining techniques and the use of chakra eating insects. At no time will a prisoner have chakra upon existing in the prison. It is protocol to always drain chakra.
- Inmates are fed a specially designed gruel. This meal is severed 3 times a day, and is very, very poor in nutritional value. So bad in its nutrition, that it can literally reduce a persons physical strength over time. The gruel does not allow a person to regain or own any nutrients which are essential in muscular hemostatsis. After eating the gruel for a few days, one is unable to properly use their muscles at full strength. In addition, the gruel lowers a persons ability to manufacture chakra. The gruel is so bad, that a person is enable to have the proper hormones and nutrients to make new chakra within their bodies.
- Inmates are given the simplest of clothing. They are stripped of all their possessions, and given special pink jump suites. These jump suites are single stitched in design, and have no buttons, zipper, etc. Instead, cheap, and easily broken elastic fibers are used. Inmates where flip-flops on their feet. The flip flops are a single piece of cheap plastic.
Interrogation rooms/ Torture room:
- Room A: The first room of the fourth floor. This room is very similar in design to the the rooms of the cell mates. The rooms are roughly 6 meters in width, length and 2 meters high. The door of the cell is roughly 2 meters in height, 1 meter in thickness and 1.5 meters in width. The door is composed of a composite material of lead and Iron, making it extremely durable and hard to penetrate. The doors are have one side window which is used by the guards for communication; the door has no small openings to which matter may pass through (in and around the door). The entire cell room is comprised of thick, 2 foot thick reinforced steel and lead walls. At any and all time, one guard is posted on the outside of the room when in use and if requested, one guard used on the inside as well.
Their is a single lead and steel chair at the rooms center. The chair is double bolted, welded and reinforced into the floor of the room. The chair itself is roughly 2 inches thick on all of its parts, double welded and completely solid; making it extremely hard and durable. The chair has four legs, two arm rests, and a backrest which reaches only the height of 2 feet (middle of back). The legs of the chair, the seat, the back rest and the arms of the chair contain special holding straps (4 all together). These straps are an interesting composite of high grade Kevlar and metallic fibers, thus making them much more durable then and stronger then steel shackles. They are roughly 3 cm in thickness, and 4 inches in length and size. The straps require 2 key to open; one in possession of the Anbu outside, the other on the interrogator.
The straps are strategically positioned on the captives lower legs, forearms, waist, and chest. Being placed in these parts means the a person is completely immobilized, and stuck to the chair. - Room B:
The Second room of the fourth floor. This room is very similar in design to the the rooms of the cell mates, as well as Room A.
