Opening his eyes, Genma didn’t need to say anything because Ryo already know what had happened just by looking ahead with his Sharingan activated. There was no chakra around the fake that had just taken the punch to the stomach. Did this mean that clones would be useless when an Uchiha had their Sharingan activated? Ryo was still wondering about the Genjutsu factor of it all; he had just used a Genjutsu technique and he wasn’t sure if it had worked or not in the first place since Genma hadn’t been looking at him when he opened his eyes. Ryo knew that the Sharingan contained many special abilities and he was just waiting to try all of them out. He scratched the back of his head nervously as he looked at his brother. He had done a very amateur move when he had closed his eyes, even if it was to prepare a jutsu, and now he felt like a fool because of it. He looked up at Genma, who still had his aura of chakra surrounding him. It appeared blue to Ryo, though he wasn’t sure if that was his brother’s actual chakra color. He focused on the chakra for a moment, observing it.
Observing Genma would not only help Ryo learn more about this new Sharingan, but about how chakra worked in the body in the first place. It seemed to be pouring out from the chest of the body; that was more than likely the core of a person’s chakra, where it was generated from. The chakra then traveled upon every inch of the body unless it was directed elsewhere, like to the feet in order to walk on water or something to that effect. Ryo’s crimson red eyes with the single black Tomoe flickered every so often, his mind taking in this new information. He continued to look at his brother, wanting to know everything there was about how this worked. The chakra, though it was situated inside of Genma’s body at the moment, created an aura on the outside of his body as well. The chakra on the outside of the body was what Ryo would be looking for if he, for one reason or another, couldn’t see an ally or an enemy. He just realized that this granted him a very unfair advantage in a fight unless he was facing an enemy with the same eyes as him or a Hyuuga’s three-sixty vision.
Looking closer at his brother, Ryo noticed yet another small detail, but he thought it was noteworthy. Genma’s eyes seemed to radiate their own chakra from having the Sharingan activated. Ryo was almost positive that if the Sharingan wasn’t active the eyes wouldn’t have such a strong pulse of chakra. Turning this over in his mind, Ryo also noticed that the second Tomoe had formed in his brother’s eye. He felt a little bit down about this since he was sure he hadn’t formed it yet. His brother had always been much better at these kinds of things than him. He got there, but it definitely took him a bit longer. Staring straight at the charging Genma, Ryo would only put his arms into his sleeves, not sure what he was going to do just yet. He already knew what was going to happen and he was starting to wonder what the purpose of this fight was. If one Uchiha fought another with the same level of Sharingan it would only be a draw; that was pretty obvious. Shrugging, Ryo looked straight ahead, trying to pick up on more things that would help him learn Stage Two.
Inside of his eyes the entire scene had already been played out. Genma was going to try and go for two slashes once he was close enough to Ryo to perform the attack. If Ryo didn’t do anything then he would get his robes torn up and probably a cut along his shoulder. If he didn’t act at the right time then he could probably defend himself from one attack, but he would take the hit from the other. So, as his brother charged at him, what was Ryo going to do? He quickly did three handseals, electricity gathering in his fingers, but he would not be able to finish this. He took the first hit as the blade cut off a piece of his robe. He had seen this within his Sharingan already, knowing that he had to take one hit, but he wasn’t about to take the other. He finished his seals, body flickering to the right as he leapt out of the way, his fingers pointed toward Genma as he was about to release his Lightning Bullets, but Genma suddenly left. “Erm… Alright, I’ll wait until your back.” Ryo’s Sharingan was still activated.
