With a blank expression on his face, Ryo walked into the field of grass, a few leaves drifting in the wind. He had on a long robe that covered his entire body, including his hands which were hidden in the sleeves. This was so that he could cast handseals without anybody seeing. Even though this was just a regular training session Ryo wanted it to be as realistic as possible. If he trained for real battle then he would be able to defend and counter properly in a real battle. Putting his hands together, Ryo already knew that he was going to be doing Lightning Release techniques for the next couple of days, maybe even for the next couple of weeks. He was preparing himself so that he would be able to learn Chidori, the pride Lightning technique of the Uchiha clan. He knew that he had a long way to go, but he was prepared to do all the training necessary in order to complete his goal. He would stick in a few Genjutsu techniques to mix things up a bit, but he would focus on Lightning for the most part.
Putting his fingers together, Ryo closed his eyes and prepared the chakra, feeling it swarm around his body. It was eager to get something done, no matter what it was. He began to think about the seals he had to do, wanting to make sure he just nailed this thing on the first try. He needed lightning chakra to go straight from the rest of his body into his hands. The chakra would be centered in his palms, channeling there until there was enough to form a sphere of lightning. Ryo would the only need to throw the ball of pure lightning and watch the magic happen. This was, more or less, like the Zeus's Bolt jutsu, which Ryo planned on learning sometime soon as well. It was still early morning so a lot of training could still be done. Ryo only hoped this technique wouldn't take very long to train so that he had time to do others.
The young Uchiha's eyes snapped open, his hands and fingers perfectly slamming into every handseal. He knew that he had to get the seals right in order for the technique to come out right. If he got even one seal slanted at the wrong angle or he slacked during the last one he could easily throw the entire jutsu out of order, ending in a broken hand. Ryo had never actually done that while training, but he had seen it done before; most of the time it was due to trying too hard to get a technique that the user was too weak to learn. Ryo could feel the chakra build up around his body, mainly in his chest. He pushed that chakra through his arms and legs, making all of it go to the center of his hands and swim around there. He could feel and hear a few clicks and such of electricity spinning around, but nothing was visible yet. He had his hands now in front of him, finishing the handseals in just a few seconds.
Peering through his normal eyes Ryo could see a sudden surge of blue and white emit from his hands, spinning around for a few more moments until it took shape as a ball. He tossed the ball from hand to hand, the electricity following right behind the circle. As the young Genin continued to toss around the little ball he felt a sudden strain on his chakra as if some kind of block had just been made on it. His eyes squinted a little bit, pain jolting through his body every few seconds. Ryo finally called off the whole technique, almost collapsing, but maintaining his balance. He took a few deep breaths before he straightened up his posture and put his fingers back together, wanting to try the technique at least one more time before calling it quits. He didn't even know why his chakra had acted up. He needed to start taking this more seriously.
Ryo's hands made the appropriate handseals, waking his chakra up once more and calling it to the center of both of his palms. He finished the seals and put his hands together, feeling the chakra swarm from all over his body, wanting to get straight to his hands and make him happy by completing this technique. Ryo looked down and saw the same white and blue sparks going off. The white and blue sparks quickly formed into a ball. Instead of juggling it around as he had done before, Ryo kept it in his hands, still channeling the chakra into it and making it larger. When it had reached its peak he brought his shoulder back and hurled it in front of him. It crashed on the flat ground some ten feet in front of him, creating a small crater. “That could be useful...”
