Mission: Treaty with Amegakure [Invite Only]

Naegi had left Iwagakure, and started on his new mission, to bring this letter to Amegakure and personally give it to the Amekage. He ran across the terrain of Tsuchi, luckily it wasn't storming like it had been when him and Pandoru-chan had gone on the mission to Kusa. However, the ground was still muddy and he avoided that by stepping onto the large boulders, even those were soggy and slippery causing Naegi too loose his balance once and a while.

He had been running for several hours now, and still had a few more hours until he reach the border of Tsuchi and Ame. He stopped too take a break, and took out a riceball from his pouch, he had one other which he'd eat for on the way back. Naegi finished it quickly and foudn a small stream a few meters away, he took a few sips, and began on his way again. It would take him several more hours to get there now. He just hoped he'd make it there and back before nightfall.

Naegi jumped from boulder to boulder as he came ever closer to the border of Tsuchi and Ame. He blinked his dark blue eyes, and scratched his left palm. Naegi stopped his journey for a moment and looked at his palms, and quickly formed a single handseal. He focused his chakra througout his body and shot vines from the soles in his feet underground. Being alone on this mission it was vital to be able to locate anything that might affect him from accomplishing this mission.

He then picked up speed, thinking about Pandoru for a moment, wishing she had been able to come with him on this mission. Naegi usually kept to himself, but he found it quite easy to talk to Pandoru, and she gave him someone to talk to. Without her, it seemed lonely, but he came back to the thought of finishing this mission before nightfall. Naegi would have to pick up the speed and focus if he wanted too.

A few hours later, he was only a few moments away from the border. Naegi quickly came to a halt, he looked on and could see the enormous utopia buildings of Amegakure. He stopped and waited there, for a certain someone to meet him.

[Moved. You are outside the Village gates at this time, and can see the mass of activity at its walls. Obviously the Village is preparing for something big. You catch glimpses of guards patrolling inside the village walls and outside, and see the odd black flicker of Ninja darting around.]

Naegi watched the activity inside the village closely, and knew if he wanted to get inside to give the letter to the Amekage he may have to surrender. He really didn't want to show submission, but knew if he wanted this mission accomplished and be accomplished without hostility he would have to surrender.

Naegi glanced inside once more, and walked inside the village, immediately he took out a small white flag and waved it in the air. "Tsuchi is surrendering, but I have a letter for you're Amekage from the Tsuchikage himself, please, I would like to be escorted too you're Kage!" Naegi annouced and watch as several of pairs of eyes looked upon him. He just hoped this would work, he'd be taken to the Amekage kindly and no fighting would be involved.

A member of ANBU - obvious from his strange attire - landed before Naegi, holding a pair of kunai in his hands. His posture showed that he was prepared to strike at him, but after a moment of staring at the young man with his near-black eyes, empty, he sheathed his blades.

'The Amekage will hear of this. Follow me to the Amekage's Tower, representative of the Tsuchikage. Deviate, and pay the price.' He turned to head towards the center of the Village, pointing to two of the guards and then back to the ninja. The guards moved behind Naegi, flanking him, and the ANBU waited for him to follow.

Naegi hadn't flinched when the ANBU landed in front of him, but had stood there staring at the weapon, yet showed that he was still submissive as too not be attacked. As the ANBU spoke he grinned and followed him. He followed closely behind the ANBU, looking around caustiously. "I have no reason to deviate." Naegi told them firmly and continued to follow closely behind looking back at ANBU behind him out of the corner of his dark purple eyes.

The ANBU quickly moved along the streets, regularly checking that Naegi was keeping with him and that the guards were doing their duty. The ANBU seemed overly cautious at first, but was now a little more relaxed - the fact that the Tsuchikage seemed to want to negotiate had taken the edge of the situation.

Then from ahead, a water dragon could be seen forming in the sky outside the Amekage's office. At that moment, the guards stared in shock. The ANBU looked at the representative, back to the office, and shook his head. 'If you want to prove yourself as genuine, follow me quickly.' With that the ANBU made haste to the tower, watching in concern as the water dragon hurled itself into the office and caused a loud crashing sound.

Naegi frowned at the ANBU. Prove himself? Naegi had no intentions of fighting here, even if it was to protect the Amekage. He'd only protect his own Kage, his mission here was to give the Amekage a letter from the Tsuchikage of an alliance, not to get dragged into a battle he had no motivation for. However, he sighed deeply and followed after the ANBU.

The ANBU led the pair of them straight to the base of the tower, seeing a Genin using one of his Jutsu's to attack a figure in the air... someone who was not the Amekage. He turned to the emissary, and pointed to the entrance of the tower.

'Go in there and make you way up. This will be over before you reach the office of my Kage.' He said, and started to form a long chain of Hand Seals.

Naegi glanced at the ANBU closely. He looked at the top of tower to hear the crashing sounds. Naegi then nodded and walked into the tower entrance. He just hoped it was over before he reached the top.

Naegi exited the Ame Tower the moment the small spheres of electricity scattered around the area. He ran away from the tower, but felt several strike his back. His back burn a little, but he still continued to run. He had escaped the area somewhat, but with some scars that would take sometime to heal on his back. Naegi turned around to watch from a distance as a big eruption occured and the tower have lava pouring from the top of it. Fvck.... He thought to himself. Naegi's main weakness was fire, and lava was a lot worse then fire. He needed to get out of the village and get back to his own.

He quickly ran across the village, he heard the screams and cries of the villagers from behind. Naegi finally reached the gate and ran into the rainy wet land of Ame no Kuni. He looked back to still here the sizzleing noise of the lava destroying everything it came across. It began to rain, and he continued his trek through the land. Naegi ran non-stop for several hours and finally came to the border of Ame no Kuni and Tsuchi no Kuni.

It was starting to get dark out now, and he could barely see his own surroundings. Naegi found a large boulder and leaned back against it. He was exhausted and needed sleep. He had been going without any rest for a long time now, and once his back touched the boulder he drifted into a deep sleep.

Naegi awoke the next day and continued his trek across Tsuchi. He traveled for several hours, and finally came to the Gates of Iwa. The ANBU on guard nodded to him of his return, but Naegi wondered what would happen now that he failed his mission. Naegi ran through the streets of Iwa, he headed for the Iwa Tower with great speed and could see it from where he was. It was around thirty feet away, and he just hoped his Kage was there. Naegi didn't feel like going around the entire village searching for him.

As he ran the wound on his back gave him great pain, and he could tell it was bleeding. He winced with every step he took, he new he may have to go to the hospital, but right now he needed to get this important information about Amegakure to the Tsuchikage. He finally came to the tower entrance and ran inside.
