The sun was not out on this day, as Raiden walked on a path outside of the mist village. He looked up to the sky and felt the humidity in the air. It was going to rain. Raiden loved the rain, and he smiled for a moment after he looked up. And yes, soon enough drips of water began to fall on Raiden's face. He stopped for a moment as the rain poured down on his surrounding. He began to move again after being satisfied. And soon he came upon a a small village, one that he had not seen before. There seemed to be a terrible sight among the village though, a frightened woman ran out into the street and called for help, saying that her son had been taken hostage by a leaf missing ninja. The hatred inside of Raiden boiled when he heard that it was a Leaf missing ninja.

His eyes turned crimson red, and he dashed into the house that the woman was speaking of. He saw him there, and he reminded him of that day when he lost Kekoto. Anger boiled in his veins, as so did his adrenaline. He felt the same as he did that day when he first activated his Sharingan. The blond uchiha dashed at him, without taking any heed to him having a hostage. The Missing ninja threw the hostage to the side and drew a kunai, and as he did he parried a kunai strike to the chest by Raiden. Raiden's eyes seemed to work a little differently at the moment, he felt as if he was able to see a little bit of what was going to happen, before it actually happened. The enemy slashed at his face, and Raiden had enough time to somehow, know it was coming. He parried his attack with his own kunai, and spun around, kicking the man in the chest.



The enemy leaf missing ninja flew to the wall and smashed into it. Pots and pans fell to the ground as he smacked into the wall, leaving a large crack where the impact made point. Raiden left no mercy however, and charged once again, attempting to stab him in his heart. The ninja had seen the attack though, and parried it, causing Raiden to lean forward more than intended, and the ninja punched him directly down, causing Raiden to smash to the ground. Before even getting up he spun on the ground, windmilling around in a fast 360 degree, and tripped and kicked his opponent into the air at the same time. Raiden bent his back up and flew up, spinning, and flipping in the air. In the middle of his flip a strong kick sent his opponent flying into the same point into the wall, smashing through the wall and rolling outside.

Raiden landed on his two feet and his eyes pulsed, he felt as if he was getting his revenge out of pummeling this Leaf missing ninja. The man got up and Raiden watched as he preformed the handseals to the Great Fireball technique, and Raiden someone predicted the use of it and countered before his opponent could use it, and blasted his own fireball at his enemy. The fireball was extremely large, and engulfed his enemy's body. The rain eventually put the fire out, and Raiden walked over to the body on the ground. Raiden pummeled the body, even though it was already dead. His rage surged over all of his body, and he felt something in his eyes. Afterwards, he stood up and watched the rain fall from the sky, and noticed that the water was getting awfully high.

The water began to surge to the ground. It rose inches off the ground, and then it rose to a feet deep, and it kept rising. Raiden jumped out of the water and onto the house of the kid that was taken hostage, and he looked throughout the town. The water started rising more, creating large waves and crashing against houses. Some of which couldn't even take the strength of the water and the walls would give in. It looked as if the people of the town were either on their roof, or on the top floor of their houses, but not everyone. Raiden focused his Sharingan to help him sift through the water, and saw small flows of chakra in the water, they were people, and it looked as if they were drowning.

Raiden pushed his eyes further, to the furthest extent that the sharingan could take, so he could locate the people in the water. As much as he couldn't trust someone that wasn't an uchiha, he didn't want to see innocents die. Raiden could spot a small child, and felt a small bit of compassion in his heart, as it looked like his brother as a child. The boy fell in the water off of his roof, and Raiden watched as his mother screamed in agony as the boy fell into the water. The boy began to drown in the water, and instantaneously, Raiden jumped into action.

He jumped down onto a lower tree branch, and then dove into the water. Underneath the water he spotted a rope attached to a nearby fence. He went deeper and grabbed it, then came up to the surface and created a lasso of sorts. Raiden jumped back out of the water and onto the house where the child had fallen from in the first place. The mother screamed in agony as her child struggled for his life. Raiden threw the lasso into the air, and then began to spin it. After getting his eyes locked onto the boy once more, Raiden threw the lasso out, and missed the boy. He pulled it in quickly again and threw it once more, capturing the boy within the lasso.

Raiden tightened his hold on the young boy and pulled the rope up, lifting the boy from the water. The mother smiled as the boy started to come up. Suddenly... WHACK! A large sharp piece of wood from a nearby house flew by as the winds began to pick up, cutting the rope. The boy fell back to the water. The mother screamed for her son once more, and Raiden looked about, focusing his eyes once more. There had to be something he could do. He spotted a weak area in the roof, and punched around it, cutting out a large board of wood. The child began rushing down the flood, and move away from the house.

Raiden jumped off of the house and placed the board underneath his feet. He landed on the board, and the board landed on the water. Using his chakra he kept his feet to the board, and the board to the water, as he surfed towards his target. It would have been hard for any normal person to see, but Raiden could see the boys small amount of chakra in the water. He continued to surf towards the boy, getting closer and closer. He didn't think he was going to make it however, so he thought quickly. He made handsigns quickly, the same as before, and turned his face, blowing a large fireball from his mouth. The blast from the fireball propelled him to a faster speed and he caught up with the boy.



He grabbed him with one arm and seemingly disappeared for a second, and reappeared on top of a house. Raiden jumped from house to house with the boy, and landed on the roof where his mother was. The storm had calmed down now, and the water was still. But the boy's mother grabbed the boy and kissed him all over, thinking she had lost him. Raiden jumped to a tree and dashed back to the gate of the village. He figured some training might help him further hone his sharingan, and his brother might be looking for him by now anyhow.

What a sight for sore eyes, was not but a small distance away Sozen would settle amongst the soft lands to watch his brother. Raiden, always hard at work like Sozen himself it seemed, and with a smug expression he'd only watch him in silence, observing his brother at work had taken his mind back to a little while ago; during his own training.

Enter Flashback.

The Uchiha stood firmly at attention as the Kumomusha man was before him, all six arms were hung at his sides as he'd eye to Mist shinobi curiously, how intimidating this Kumomusha was however, his body was large with muscle and covered in marks of war, and when he thought he'd seen it all he'd quickly spot what seemed to be a large spider crawl from behind hi head before moving down into his clothing.

"What the..?" Sozen was at a loss for words, did he really allow the creatures to simply walk all over him?

"Shut up, boy. These spiders are our allies, it's with them by our sides that we are able to do amazing things. And as such this is the first step in your training.."

Face would contort back to that of his usual serious demeanor, and with a brisk nod of his head the Uchiha male would listen intently, how was he to become one with these arachnids?

"It's a very simple secret, and once learned you'll be able to do this without even so much as a thought, almost like breathing.."

Ebony strands would drop along his facade in the passing breeze, and after a brief silence the man continued,

"You must coordinate your idle chakra to flow with your skin and natural odor, it's once you've made this connection that an odorless scent will pour from your frame, and any spiders around you will listen to your call.." The rough voice of the male would end abruptly. and without so much as another word spoken he'd vanished, it was up to Sozen now to learn this on his own.

Teeth would grit together as canines would be lightly pushed into his lips, it was now time to concentrate. In order for this to work he needed to redirect his flow, he needed to be able to siphon the energy along his skin and sweat glands, and once properly achieved any nearby arachnids would answer to his call, and that was something he would definitely look forward to. Eastern and western appendages would rise upwards as they'd cross over his chest, and with each hand grabbing at the opposite shoulder he'd slide his loose black shirt from his torso. Hanging around his waist the clothing would dangle in the breeze, however he had felt less restricted now as the fresh air would caress the flesh. It was now fleshly lids would close, shutting blue slates tightly he'd only see black, and it was it this moment he'd begin to manipulate his internal energy,

"I can do it.."

He could almost picture his own body in his mind, he could almost see the image of the blue tubes stretching throughout his body which he imagined as his chakra network. It was through these systems he needed to redirect its normal route, unsure of what to do exactly he'd figured that trial and error was the best route, what was the worst that could happen? Flexing his body his muscles tightened up, and with a sudden surge the pools of energy within would open as he'd send chakra funneling through every limb of his body, and from here is where he wished to branch-out. From his arms the energy would seep forward, extending to the tips of all his fingers and all throughout his muscles his entire arm was seemingly filled all over with the energy, and the same would be done with his lower-half. With the chakra spread throughout his body he'd now need to try and manipulate it into his own skin and sweat glands, just small amounts of flowing chakra was all that was needed, and hopefully such a task could be accomplished. Slowly like a sponge the chakra was being 'sucked' from its location and was being absorbed into his skin, although he wasn't sure if what he was doing was correct it seemed the most logical thing to him.

Chakra would line his flesh from top to bottom, and slowly but surely the blue energy would reach the likes of all his glands, and before he could even tell there was already a reaction brewing within. The chakra combined with his skin and glands was soon emitting a scent-less odor from his pores, and unknown to him the arachnids along the area had been easily been able to sense such an attractive pheromone. A tickling sensation would run up his leg now as the Uchiha quickly opened his eyes, and grabbing at his pant-leg he'd raise the fabric slightly too see a couple of small spiders crawling up his leg, and it was then with his eyes open he would see it. Masses of small spiders were incoming from every direction as they surrounded him on all sides, and with but a menacing grin he'd outstretch his arms.

"Come forth! I shall lead you, my arachnid companions.."

His voice held a slight hint of venom to it as he almost hissed his words forth, he was incredibly happy that he'd been actually able to utilize his chakra in such a way on his first try. With a steady, almost unnoticeable amount of chakra regularly coursing through his skin and glands he'd always be able to beckon spiders alike, with such a variety and such an abundant source he had amassed himself a small army it seemed. But a small chuckle would escape thin lips before the veteran Kumomusha would return, with that same displeased look however he'd simply shake his head at Sozen's enjoyment,

"You've still got a long ways to go, kid.."

Quickly however the Uchiha was snapped out of his day-dream when a sudden breeze would blow along his face, and with a small smile returning he'd look towards Raiden as a single spider would crawl down his cheek,

"Raiden, Raiden, Raiden.." He'd merely think to himself as he'd stare towards his twin, hard at work was he?

As Raiden walked back to the village he saw his brother. Sozen looked as if he was off in a gaze though, perhaps reliving a memory. He seemed to be concentrating rather hard too. Raiden looked off into the distance to see academy students learning handseals on the outside of the gates. Raiden thought to himself, and wondered if he would be able to predict the handseal that they would use, before they used it. He had done a little prediction with his Sharingan once during the fight he had with the missing ninja at the small flooded village.

Raiden activated his Sharingan once more, if his brother was to look up, he would see crimson red eyes, concentrated on the teacher and the children of the academy. The teacher began talking, and Raiden watched his hands, trying to predict what handseal he was going to teach first. He sat down and placed his hands close together, as to copy the handseal that he would teach. After reading the lips of the teacher, he could tell that the first seal he was going to help the students to learn was the Tiger hand seal. The teacher taught the children the handseal, and they all used it over and over again. It seemed it was easy to read the lips of the man before he even said what he was going to say.

He then began to teach the children every handseal, one by one. Raiden would practice his own, whilst focusing on the teacher and his teachings to the students. Little had Raiden known, he was actually predicting the man's movements more than he could tell. He could read the lips of the man, and would be able to know the sign that he was going to form before he even formed it. Raiden would form a hand seal every time that the teacher had spoke of them. Soon enough all of the children had learned all of the hand seals, and Raiden wanted to take his training to the next level.

The Teacher told the students that he was now going to randomly form handseals together, and he needed a response from each of them within a split second to tell him what the handseal was that he formed. The first time the teacher did it he watched and easily could tell which handseal was used, and sometimes he could even tell which handseal he was going to use next. Then the teacher formed handseals without stopping for the children to see them, and Raiden began to copy them.



Dragon... Bird... Tiger... Ram.... Ox.... Dog... Rabbit... Monkey... Horse... Boar... Serpent... and finally the rat handseal. After he had formed all 12 handseals, Raiden was able to copy his movements, and even predict a few of the handseals before the teacher even progressed. Raiden had an idea. He got up and walked over to his brother, deactivating his sharingan. He looked at his brother as he seemed to be out of his trans and asked for a favor, with a grin on his face. "Hey, brother. I need your help with some training, you up for it?"

Effect: The users fingertips begin to glow a light blue as they fire off lightning bolts from the fingertips.

Drawback: After being used multiple times they begin to numb the user’s finger making it very difficult to use weapon’s such as Bows, Swords, or even Kunai. Can be trained multiple times to increase the amount of times that it is capable of using without making finger’s numb
Description: Once the user has performed the required handseals the user will outstretch his hands and his fingers. Chakra will be rapidly gathered their and suddenly each finger will begin to emit electricity. The user will then move their hands back and fling them forward releasing the Lightning Bullets at the opponent. The Bullet’s look like small marble-sized balls of lightning with is giving off a constant discharge. The balls travel as fast as a person can throw a kunai or shuriken.

"Hey, brother. I need your help with some training, you up for it?"

Sozen's lips would curl his lips into a slight grin as he'd looked towards his kin, of course he'd help him train, despite his jealousy of his sharingan the Uchiha wasn't about to leave him like that, they were a team, and they would get stronger together. With nothing more than a nod Sozen would rise up from his position on a rock and fully stand upwards, and outstretching his arms he'd command the arachnids away from his body as brown masses of spiders would exit from under his clothing as they moved both left and right. Waiting just 10 meters or so away in every direction they were ready to be called for later use, however at this time they were not required. Right index finger was quickly pushed up to scratch along the left side of his nose, whilst left hand simultaneously would push into his pockets, emerging with but a parchment. In yellow ink the symbol for Raiton was present on the backside as he'd hold it before him, and with a flick of this wrist it'd be let loose.

"I hope you don't mind me trying something new, brother."

Glowing blue eyes scanned every detail of the writing before him, including the small diagrams and drawings, this was but a simple raiton maneuver. This technique required but three handsigns, and 'pon completion the user was able to gather forth electric chakra to the ends of each digits, where a transformation would take place and the chakra would manifest itself into small 'bullets' of electricity. These little orbs were said to be as fast as your average projectile, and in the right hands the pain from the electricity and possible minor burns could be all to useful, not to mention if one used water to their advantage. With another motion the scroll was promptly tugged upwards and once more rolled up properly before being stuffed into his pants, despite being a neophyte to raiton jutsu he had to start somewhere, and what a better chance then to use it on Raiden?

"Well now, let's give this a shot, hn?"

Left and right arms were sent towards one another with great speed as hands were opened quickly, digits would intertwine as palms were slapped together with a loud clap, and with that same grin on his features he'd only look down towards his biling one last time,

"Try not to get hit."

First was the tiger as slender fingers would shift about flawlessly with a sense of grace to it, this zodiac was the first step to completing the jutsu as immediately 'pon its completion the pools of energy within would erupt as chakra was sent streaming through the internal networks. Coursing through his body he could feel the energies movements, and it was just a blur of flesh later that his hands quickly moved as to continue with the set of handseals. The serpent was next, with the snake completed the shift of chakra was almost instantaneous before the almost liquid energy would pour from his chest and down into his arms, each appendage would tingle as the chakra would push forth and focus, gathering in small pools along the tips of his digits. There was only one more movement until completion, what he needed to do last was but chakra manipulation, he'd need to convert his regular energy into that of electric raiton chakra, and with that finished he'd be able to launch it from his fingers.

Dragon. The final motion was taken as hands would be held stiffly, every muscle in his body was flexed as teeth would be pressed together, and with the handseals completed he would smile menacingly. Appendages would part as they'd be thrust behind his back, hands opened wide as his palms would be caressed by the air as arms would move about. All finger on each hand would be erect and spread apart now as sparks were seemingly gathering at the very tips of each fleshly protrusion,

"Be quick!"

Arms would swing forward as all 10 digits would be pointed towards Raiden in a spread pattern, meaning any direction he moved would put him in danger of being struck; he'd best hope that eye of his wasn't just for looks. With a 'snap' however the marbles of electric energy would blast forth, although small they each would play their part, meanwhile Sozen would watch from atop his rock.

Raiden knew his brother wouldn't deny helping him train. The two were a team, and he knew it. He watched his brother get up. He had grinned back at Raiden, and he nodded. Sozen stretched a bit, and reached into his pocket to grab something. What could this be? Raiden wondered to himself. He pulled out a sheet of paper and he examined it. Hmm was this some sort of technique that he didn't know? That must be it. He continued to wonder what was upon the paper, but Raiden ignored it for the moment and his grin was a little larger.

”I hope you don't mind me trying something new, brother.”

Ahha! Raiden knew that it was a new technique from the paper. But if his brother could do the technique easily without prior training, he figured that it wouldn't be that advanced, so he didn't mind. The moment he heard it though, his eyes began to glow red, and the one tomoe appeared in his eye. He watched his brothers glowing blue eyes scan the outskirts of the page. Was this the first time that he had read it? He had forgotten how blue his eyes were, the same as his own without the Sharingan activated. It seemed he had finished though, as he flicked the paper back up, placing it in his pocket.

”Lets give this a shot. Try not to get hit brother.”

Raiden wouldn't get hit. He examined his brother as he prepared the technique. His right arm shot out in front of him, and so did his left arm. The odd thing to Raiden was, he predicted this would happen. He could see the extremely fast movements of his brother's arms moving, before they happened, and he could see them as if they weren't as fast as they appeared. He then watched as his brother put his hands together for the handseals of the jutsu. Raiden wondered if he would be able to predict the handseals as well as he was able to with the teacher and the children.


His hands began to move with a swift fast motion, that seemed actually to be slower in the eyes of Raiden. Before the first handseal was created Raiden was able to see what handseal it was, The tiger seal was first. Afterwards he was able to see a little of his brother's chakra surging through his body. The next seal he had known before it came, the serpent. More chakra flowed through his body now, and was a little more visible to Raiden. And with the third handseal, the Dragon handseal, Raiden saw the yellow of the chakra in a small aura around his brothers fingertips. It was a Raiton technique. Soon lightning began to form on the tips of his brothers fingertips.





Suddenly, the lightning shot forward from each digit of his brother's hands. It surged towards Raiden very quickly, but Raiden knew where the lightning was going to go through a prediction in the placement of his brother's hands. It flew at him from almost every direction. Raiden jumped into the air, dodging 3 of the shots, then spun in the air, dodging three more of the lightning bullets. He then flipped backwards, dodging the rest of them, and landed on his feet. The bullets nearly hit him, and Raiden was shocked that he was able to dodge them all.

Raiton – Raiu Karasu (Thunderstorm Raven)

Skill: Ninjutsu.
Effect: Creates ravens of lightning to attack your opponent.

Drawback: Must be learned multiple times in order to truly master. The swallows dissolve if they pass out of forty meters of the user.
Description: The user forms the hand seals, creating ravens of lightning around them. The ravens are roughly two feet in wingspan. The ravens are comprised of pure electricity, and discharge into a shock of electricity when they strike an object. Each swallow discharges with a D rank shock. The user can control the motions of the swallows completely. When first learned, the user is only capable of creating up to five ravens at a time. Each time learned, the user can create an additional five ravens. When the user attains to capability of creating fifty ravens, the technique increases to a C rank technique, allowing for an additional five per training as usual. When the user reaches the capability of creating one hundred twenty swallows, the training becomes B rank. The user can create two hundred swallows, total, before they max out.
Limit: Must have Lightning Release.

Sozen was not foolish, even without the sharingan he knew his brother to be capable of evading, and even if all 10 bullets had connected it'd only bring pain and numbing for a small duration, nothing to long, and such is why the moment after said marble of electricity were launched he'd already been preparing a second move. Once more it was a technique belonging to the raiton release, Sozen had always taken a liking to moves involving electricity and fire, the burning force and destruction was always something that intrigued him, and thus with right arm slipping back downwards again he'd retrieve a second scroll. It was not unusual for him to carry many of these scrolls at a time, in fact he almost always had a large variety with him as he was always eager to train, and knowing the next one to be of the raiton release he was excited to see what would be pulled out of the hat next. Hand would wrap firmly around the parchment, and in a tug it would be set free from his pockets, immediately left hand shot over as to grab the bottom, and with both appendages moving away from eachother the paper was spread open.

"Ravens.."

The next jutsu was that of a more controllable one, according to the text and the diagrams before him the shinobi would be able to conjure forth ravens composed entirely of electric energy, and not only that but they would be able to command them so. This was quite the useful little maneuver now wasn't it? Not only would the numbers be useful, and each shock potentially dangerous in the right situation, but he'd be able to choose from which direction to attack and plan it as so. He'd grin widely with an almost evil glare in his eyes, and quickly he'd waste time no longer, with arms pushing towards their opposite the scroll was wrapped once more, and with a faint woosh the parchment was stuffed into his clothing yet again. This would happen just quick enough that'd he watch Raiden move and dodge; coming out unscathed from the assault of lightning bullets, this displeased him, but he was sure this would be different,

"I got something for you, hotshot."

Hands would slap together again, sending a faint echo into the surroundings as the eyes of the Uchiha looked down at his brother, the crimson slates would only stare back, and with another sudden surge of jealousy he'd quickly avert his eyes and only gaze down towards his own hands, it was time to begin the preparation. Starting again he was to form the handsign of the tiger, the great striped beast of immense power was his first step, and with digits gracefully sliding to and fro' fingers would be held erect in the required positions. Yet again the initial handsign was the one that would activate the storehouses of energy located within his internal networks, and almost instantly chakra was rushing through every inch of his person, and he was only two steps away now. An aburpt breeze would blow by now, the result was that of ebony stands being whipped across his facade, and without so much as blinking he held his concentration on the task at hand.

Dog. The second step was taken and he was now 2/3rd's the way there, as with most second handsigns this would serve to position the chakra into the necessary areas. Such as when this zodiac was formed he could feel the sudden burst of energy rising up into his shoulders and it was slowly but surely parting from his being, instead seemingly moving into the atmosphere around him. His face would twist into a devilish smile before looking up to his brother, and with one final movement he'd of completed his move. The tiger was made once more, and with it a sudden surge of electric chakra in the air around him would snap loudly and fizz as five ravens of electricity would hover before him, surely this was something new to Raiden.

"Now, let's see how you react, brother."

The raven directly in the middle was aimed perfectly with Raiden's body, and without warning it would blast forth in an aim to meet his chest, however two would quickly move diagonally to the left, and two to the right. Left arm would sway in the air as he guided the two ravens on his left, as eastern appendage did the same with the other couple. Arms would move flawlessly as he'd aim to position Raiden into a trap, where as the two on the left would swoop around in an attempt to hit his back, the same time as right arm would sway in motions as to guide them into his sides. Sozen figured the lone raven in the beginning was a good enough distraction for now,

"Hmph.."

Effect: The Second Tomoe Eye can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. This technique will also allow the user to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is with greater accuracy. The user when learning the second tomoe they are capable of going into other forms of jutsus that deals and consists with the second eye. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

He watched as his brother had another trick up his sleeve. He quickly placed his hand in his pocket and pulled out another scroll. It must be another new technique. Raiden began to think to himself, looking up at his brother, he looked hard to see what he was going to use next. He wondered if it would be another Raiton technique. He and his brother always preferred the Raiton element and the Katon element to the others, and he figured his brother would stay with the same jutsu. Raiden thought about his last prediction though, he was able to predict the element of the technique before his brother had even used the technique on him.





Raiden read his brothers lips... What had he meant by Ravens? Sozen started handseals again, and it was once again a new technique. It started to become second nature to tell what handseal was going to come next in the sequence. The Tiger seal came first, and chakra was able to be seen a little around the entire body of his brother. The second seal formed, and this time it was the Dog seal. The chakra began to surge to his arms, visible to Raiden's crimson red eyes. And then last, the Tiger seal once again. A yellow tint to the chakra hinted to Raiden that a Raiton technique was coming once again.


Suddenly five ravens, all composed of pure electricity, formed around Raiden's brother. Suddenly, the five ravens dove at Raiden. One raven dove directly at his chest, it looked as if his brother was serious about this attack. Two of the raven's peirced the sky and flew around and down to a diagonal position to Raiden's left, as the other two ravens would do the same on the other side of his body. As they moved quite fast, it seemed to Raiden that they were moving slower than he thought. What was this feeling then he would continue to experience?


Adrenaline pulsed through Raiden's veins. He wasn't quite sure how he was to get out of this one. He felt as if time had frozen for a split second, and he looked past the ravens, to see his brother waving his arms around in some sort of pattern. Wait... That was it! Raiden discovered the way to get out of it. He watched his brother direct each raven with his arms, they flew the way that his arms told them to. And with this obsveration, he was able to tell where the ravens would swoop in, and at what point they would try to attack him.





The front raven that had dove at his chest had flown right over Raiden's chest, as when it came he bent his body backwards, and placed his hands behind him on the ground. As the raven flew over his body, his legs flipped backwards and he landed on his feet once more. The two ravens on his left swooped in to hit him, and Raiden jumped into the air and spun as fast as he could, spinning between the two ravens. He landed and without a second thought he flipped backwards to land his hands on the ground. As he did the ravens on his right swooped past, one under him when he was in the air, and one above him. He had dodged them all by predicting the movements of his brothers arms.

Description: The user does an amount of handseals as they quickly concentrate on the chakra along the palm of their hands. The technique is used to where they create a small ball of lightning to where the user is capable of hurling it towards the opponent. This technique is weak however and is only capable of paralyzing an oponent for approximatly one round no matter how strong the opponent may be.

Damn it. Raiden was all over this dodging crap, what was he doing so different that enabled him to move like this? It was almost as if he could see the techniques coming, seeing as he would dodge attacks coming from his behind and flank. What was he doing? Sozen wasn't an idiot, he'd indeed notice that his brother had only been evading and anticipating moves, never had he countered or attempted to train any visible moves, was he doing what he thought he was? The bastard, he was already moving up further with his sharingan, it was prediction like this their father spoke of, and this was what he was seeing before him. With a growl the Uchiha would thrust his hands downwards, and with it his clothing that covered his torso would be let loose as it hung around his waist, and now he planned on getting a hit on him. The ebony mane of the boy would be pushed back lightly with his fingers for just a brief moment, and then action was taken.

"Training your sharingan? You bastard."

He'd not need a scroll for this one, in fact this was a rather simple lightning jutsu he'd seen performed already, and it was one that he'd previously read about, it was one of the many scrolls in his collection. This one was rather simple, it involved a small series of handsigns, which upon completion the user would be able to summon forth a ball of lightning chakra into their palm, the orb would be pure electricity and contact with such a jutsu would bring a paralyzing effect. Sozen often thought about how he could apply techniques in battle before actually learning them and this one was no exception. He realized that a technique that was able to paralyze enemies with just a small amount of chakra would definitely be worth it, and it was a start on his way towards mastery of the raiton element, or that is what he wished to do atleast. Inhaling deeply his hands would slowly rise as he kept an eye on his brother, with the gift of prediction on his side he sadly realized this was not likely to strike, but it only made him more powerful in the end.

"Evade all you like, you'll tire soon enough."

Fists would be made as Sozen would quickly flex his muscles, with a crack of his knuckles his hands would abruptly open, and flowing through the handsigns in a blur of flesh the Uchiha pushed himself as fast as he could move. Teeth were exposed as he'd bite down on his lower lip, and then finally all actions would cease and he'd hold the final handsign. Chakra poured into the center of his right palm, and once hands split a loud crackle was heard as an orb of electricity appeared from thin air as it hovered above his hand. The lightning within his palm crackled every moment as strands of electricity would dance about, it would even give off a faint light as the colour yellow was seen across his facade. With his features now holding the look of enjoyment he'd smile towards his brother,

"I love lightning."

It was that moment eastern appendage would be raised upwards, and Sozen would move to take a step, and notice something. His legs were not moving, for some reason he'd not been able to walk in a direction whilst holding the ball of lightning so it seemed, what was the meaning of this? With his look of enjoyment soon going down the gutter his face contorted into a look of anger,

"I don't need to move!"

And with a powerful swing the air would whoosh loudly as the sparking ball of electricity was thrown force, it would snap loudly with every moment as the shining globe would aim to connect into his brother's chest.

Raiden could tell that his brother had became angry. He couldn't tell however, if his brother actually knew what he was training. Their father had told them of the magical things that the Sharingan could do, and Raiden finally started to tap into that unimaginable power. He started to predict things! His brother looked in anger at him, he must have figured out exactly what he was doing. Perhaps he should have told his brother all those years ago why he could activate his sharingan, but no matter, for the matter at hand now was his training.

”Training your Sharingan? You bastard.”

Raiden knew he couldn't fool him forever with his training. It looked as if his brother had another technique ready, but this time he didn't pull out a scroll. Raiden watched the anger erupt from his brother, and the handseals flew out in a fast fury, but Raiden was able to read all of them just before he did them. Before his brother performed them he would this time try to get on his brother's nerves with an arrogant comment. A second before his brother would complete the handseals, Raiden would say each and everyone of them aloud to his brother, showing him the power that could be held with the sharingan. Raiden grinned as his brother finished his last hand seal.



He could see chakra surge once again through his body. The chakra was yellow, this time more visible than the last. The chakra went to his hands, and burst forth from it. The chakra that burst forth created an electric ball. This technique looked as if it would paralyze Raiden if he was to get hit by it, so he decided he wasn't going to. But, he also didn't want to dodge it, so he decided to go with a favorite jutsu that him and his brother knew from their childhood. His hands moved siftly and clapped together as the feirce ball of lightning was shot towards him.





The Tiger seal was the first seal to be formed, then in an instant he formed 3 more seals. The chakra was building up inside of him, and he could see the red moving up to his mouth. The three seals formed were Dog, Rabbit, and finally Dragon. He held his hand up to his mouth and took an extremely deep breath. He locked onto the ball of lightning and was ready to aim his fireball at it. He placed his hand directly in front of his mouth and let forth his breath.



Out of his mouth came a large fireball, one greater size than that of the orb flying at him. It blasted forth from his mouth, leaving no burns behind nor even smoke from the mouth. The fireball traveled forth and collided with the ball of lightning, engulfing it. The fireball continued towards his brother, but blasted into ground below him. Raiden put his hands down and shouted out to his brother. As he shouted he kept a large grin on his face.


“Remember that technique brother?” He laughed.

Katon: Ame Hinote no Jutsu (Fire Element: Raining Flames)

Effect: A Jutsu to where the user is capable of creating a storm of fire.

Description: The user performs the handseals needed as they take in a great deep breathe within. Holding it for a movement the user exerts out the breathe in a great force as an amount of smoke comes out in the usage of one movement, the number of movements increase depending on the rank type the user is pushing within the technique. When the user first learns the technique as a "C" Rank the user is capable of creating an amount of smoke covering within the distance of ten meters radius. The Smoke is capable of rising high into the air as it stays when the user wishes for the attack to be performed. The smoke itself may be used as a distraction, to make an opponent incapable of seeing for a brief moment to allow the user to perform more stronger attacks if needed. Within the ten meters of radius as the cloud of smoke is high in the air the user is capable of making the smoke rain down fire balls the size of golf balls down towards those that are along the ground. When the user learns a different rank the amount of distance is increased by ten meters. When the user learns the "S" Rank version of this technique performing the technique becomes quite easier as the amount of chakra is reduced by one rank needed in order to perform the technique, as the storm of golf sized fire balls is added with an extra amount of damage of a small explosion like that of a tag.

The mocking tone of his brother as he spat out the handsigns irritated Sozen to no end, and Raiden would know this. He wanted to stab him in his face at the moment, but he loved his brother all the same. With face showing is annoyance and anger he was letting his emotion slowly get the best of him, there were only few who could get such a rise out of him, and unfortunately enough Raiden was one of them. Alas, Raiden would actually make a move however, as the ball of lightning flew forth it was aiming to slam into his body with an electric surge, however a movement of his brothers hands would form handsigns, and in what seemed to be no time hands were cupped around his mouth. This technique was quite familiar, in fact it was the first jutsu the two had learned together, and despite it coming at him in a large ball of flame and the fact he was angry he couldn't help but look back on those good times.

Sozen would step back, and with a backwards flip avoid any flame, but he would feel the intense heat on his flesh,

"Of course I remember.."

His tone was quiet, the memories had helped drain some of the anger from him, and with a soft smile he was left standing there for a moment before he'd come to his senses,

"Remember that technique father used that one time?"

And it was after such words were spoken that his arms would slightly raised, with hands held open and fingers erect he'd rub his palms together, this technique was on of their clan, and something he'd not bothered to ever try, he always found the memories too depressing. But for some reason he'd not felt so bad at this time, he was actually feeling better looking on the past years, maybe it was because it was something their father had once demonstrated, and Sozen would want nothing more than to follow in his footsteps. Blue orbs would shift up to meet the gaze of his brother, and with a slight smirk he'd slowly widen his stance outwards,

"I don't think I'll get this one on my first try, however."

Hands would come together rapidly as he'd begin forming the required movements, he remember the handsigns merely by memory of when his father used such a moves, and with eyes closed he'd move through the movements with a smile on his face. Chakra would surge along his entire body in multiple areas, before focusing along his chest and neck, until finally the chakra would convert itself into that of katon energy, and it was then fleshy lids would open wide. Inhaling deeply he'd suck as much oxygen into his lungs as he could, he aimed to get the largest breath possible, until finally he'd reach his limit of air intake. In a loud exertion of the chakra within his lungs Raiden would note the rather drastic change, into of normal carbon dioxide, smoke would be bellowing from his gut.

The smoke was thick and dark as it rolled from his throat in a large gathering, and slowly it would begin to rise upwards into the air. Infused with chakra this cloud was to be able to rain fire upon the field, once spreading out of course. However 'pon looking upwards he'd see that the cloud had been thickly concentrated in only one area, that would be above his own self. A great heat was felt radiating from the cloud, and after a few moments fire would begin to spit from the heavens as marble sized orbs of fire would begin to rain on what seemed to be a one meter radius,

"God damn!"

Sozen would scream as he'd quickly burst to his side and take off running, just barely would he escape the fires reach as his legs pumped furiously, however before he'd come to a stop he'd only shout one thing,

"Shut your mouth."

He'd obviously anticipate the comment to come.
