The ox was getting frustrated. This much was apparent as it stood to its feet, feeling slightly sluggish from the way it grasped onto the Zweihander once more. Its offensive attacks were proving to be nothing more than fronts for Atsuhiro's ninjutsu. The shinobi had ascended into a new realm of power, the demonic tone within his speech signifying that he was no longer of his own influence. No - there was much more to his persona. It was if the internal struggle that he shared with the beast within was constantly coming to a conclusion, their unity within attacking and defending aiding them in overcoming the zodiacs. The wit and brawn they possessed through the spiritual essence held superior to every assailant before them.
Anotsu swung his sword only once, the azure edge flickering along the kissaki and down as he stared out at the ox. Its malicious glare was enough to prove that the Uchiha had, indeed, done something to it. "How? ...How are you doing all of this?" the ox roared. Atsuhiro merely lifted Apashi and tapped it along his shoulder. "The answer is simple: the first few battles, I held no appreciation for the beasts. They were merely tools for me to perform my jutsu. But now that I truly understand...they speak to me. They yield to my humility, and in turn I am fed their undying power. Face it, ox...you'll be added to my abilities."[/i] And yet again, that trademark grin spoke of a serenity and calm within Atsu's person.
He was beginning to feel the mutual bond between himself and the demon within. So long as their alliance, coalesced with the zodiac beasts, remained in tact - there was naught that could stand in his way but his own ambitions. But even then, Anotsu was much more intelligent than to let the thirst for knowledge and power consume him. He still pondered the tiger's Sharingan, having combatted it and dealt with a version of the Kekkai Genkai that was much stronger than his own. Still, he could not help but feel that an inevitable power would come to be his own. Until that moment, the epitome of strength would have to be placed onto the Third Stage that he'd acquired.
The ox let go of the Zweihander, slamming its palms together that sent a tremor along the earth. Atsuhiro, even though such a torrential wave caused him to slide backward upon the soles of his feet, could only wonder if Shinji would be angered at how the very battleground had taken its toll due to their antics. It was irrelevant, though. So long as the Uchiha came to claim that which was his, he would continue fighting. The Mizu shinobi began to understand the urgency within the ox's eyes. The need for respect, the demand for only the utmost fear from opponents..he would act accordingly, and seal its fate with a superiority that even the ox could not mistake.
