Once again.
From prior attempts, it was safe to assume that he was growing more adept at his first one-handed seal. Being able to manipulate his chakra, Anotsu carried a large weight upon his shoulders with the learning curve; there was still much to be discovered, and he could feel his energy leaving him quicker than before. Those obsidian locks were matted to his face as his tongue slid forward to lick his lips softly. The taste of salt from his sweat lingered upon his taste buds in moments to follow, before he reached upward and pulled off the top half of his Shodai Armor. The sun was beating down upon his person that afternoon, indeed, and he would need to be as comfortable as possible for coming attempts.
As the piece was removed from his clothing, he dropped the usually heavy armor onto the ground beside him. It created a soft thud with the gaia, a sigh escaping Atsuhiro's lips as he stretched weary muscles. He hadn't practiced in his Taijutsu in a while. Such was evident with the fatigue externally, yet the desire to continue inwardly. As such, he'd bite his lower lip until a slight pain coursed through him. That should have been enough to properly fuel him for success. Once more, he prepared himself. This time, the Uchiha relaxed his body only slightly. He'd need to anticipate the burst of chakra flowing through his circulatory system.
Since it was wired to his vital organs so delicately, it didn't take the Byakugan for him to realize the critical conditions of this performance. Atsuhiro began the handseals once more. The half-dragon was used once per two handseals, the speed at which he performing it requiring more work than before. His free hand would rise time and again to compensate for the seal that he didn't have, and afterward the thoughts caused him to lose a bit of focus. He closed his eyes as the gradual process aided him - it didn't take him long to get back into the rhythm. The handseal was coming even faster now. And just as he suspected, he was able to do more as repetition took place.
The Grand Fireball would be attempted once again. How shameful it would have been for his dragons to see him in such a condition, the Katon Affinity birthing itself from the nothingness. He would even go so far as to travel along gaia for a few paces. Though it threw off his concentration, the focal point of all that he was learning lay within the epicenter of his body. Atsu sighed to himself as he remembered the heat waves rising from Suna's deserts. Compared to that, this task should not have been so tedious. With his jutsu prepared, Anotsu's final handseal - the Dragon One-Hand, of course - went without flaw. He placed his fingers over his mouth in the form of a circle, and thereafter proceeded to concentrate.
All was riding on this. If he could properly grasp the concept of this technique, perhaps he would be ready to move on to the next fragment of his completion. The jutsu seemed to be at its maximum capacity, the chakra system within him operating as normally as it would with two hands. Had he completed the task? Only time would tell for the young Uchiha as he stood and held the Final Handseal for contingency. It's completion marked the era of a new day in forming Ninjutsu....and hopefully, this next attempt would be the greatest of them thus far.
