Grace divine spilled forth onto reality once more, delivering a sense of fear that stretched far and wide as he ambled along the ground. With finesse did his footsteps carry him along the endless seas of gaia, emerald blades pushing along and up under the touch of his obsidian clothing. The Sharingan appeared once more as he peered outward and witnessed the form of a scribe sitting amongst a redwood tree, his pen diligently molding works of art. Perhaps it would be time to indulge in his ability to copy and predict with the powerful eye. Without so much as a whisper to the wind did the Uchiha vanish, leaving naught but a stir of wind that pushed upward and into the atmosphere. The blind peripheral of his target would see none of this, and in that regard could Anotsu unlock a basic use of his Sharingan. The three tomoe within his eye was reduced to one as his chakra levels were pushed back.
It had been a great while since he had only used this particular form of the Sharingan. He could remember the days in which he'd applied the Kekkai Genkai to the demise of his opponents, and it had been some time since he'd reflected on the teachings of his clansmen. The once prestigious Uchiha Clan had turned him into an apathetic adversary, the illusionist calculatingly intelligent so as to decipher and use his opponent's workings against them. From the depths of the shadows provided by lush forestry would he arrive, the scribe muttering profusely the cursings of religion and the like. A used scroll and pen, discarded, were picked up and into his hands as he watched. And it was then that he began to notice the subtle changes within the scribe's penmanship.
Having dove into cursive along the paper, Anotsu merely took the pen in his right hand and held the parchment afront himself. Simple enough was the task: by focusing chakra to the optic nerves, he would thereafter be able to use his Kekkai Genkai's ability to copy anything that the man would write. Be it a random character, or a symbol unknown to any, he could copy the contents so perfectly that the human eye would not be able to decipher the falsification of his legible attempt. So, would it be - and with ease. Taking the pen and sliding it along the paper, Anotsu took only a moment to read and copy word for word what the man had been writing. Though his vision was obscured slightly from wrinkled epidermis and an elongated sleeve upon his dominant writing hand, Tsukuyomi held no problem in copying his every stroke.
He was apparently crafting a story about those of Mizu No Kuni, describing in detail the greatness of the Uchiha and their recent building of the Temple. Perhaps this was one of their subordinates, left to create the history of their people and put it in great detail. He also discerned, in his writing, that Anotsu himself was a figure of great power. As was Kouketsu, his flesh and blood. With these two at the threshold of the Uchiha foundation, this pillar of clansmen would not be so quickly devoured by any outside force. The days of the old were passed, and a new era had arrived. Once Anotsu was thoroughly engrossed in writing, it had taken him no time to realize that he had finished the document at the very moment the scribe had. Rolling up the writing and placing it within his vest's pocket, he stepped forward and into the sight of his disciple.
"A-Anotsu, my Lord!" he heard. The scribe fell to both knees and placed his forehead to the ground, paying homage to the Uchiha deity. Atsuhiro simply placed a hand upon his shoulder, applying a slight pressure so that he might stand. "You do well for us, my child. I would expect no less from your works." A smile creeping along the elder's face, the former KazeKage thereafter travelled into the distance. There was still much to learn.
