“A rush to remember!”
Already approaching the shores of the Water Country, Azrael made sure to leave all his equipment with his family. Already telling them about what happened, they understood his reasoning for wanting revenge. The sounds of waves crashing along the rocks grew closer as did the sound of ships making their way into the harbor. Glancing up at the sky Azrael was slightly astonished about how like the mist was and that he could see the moon so clearly. Though that realization ended as the sound of a ferry-man was heard “Hello! Where are you headed traveler?” the middle-aged man asked. “Claw Country…” Azrael responded as the ferry-man pointed to a man down the row of docks. “The man down there is only one who does that route, sorry” the ferry man with a slight shrug. Brushing off the upbeat personality of the ferry-man he’d approach the one gloomy one. He wore a black hooded cloak and apparently was captain of a pure black vessel. “Where bouts’ you head’?” he asked in a deep mysterious voice. “Claw” Azrael responded as the man turned around “Ready the vessel lads!” ordered the captain, the sound of “aye-aye sire” could be heard all throughout the ship. The man would leap onto his ship as Azrael followed “Um, how much is the trip?” Azrael asked. “Free… We were headed there anyways for resupplying…” said the captain making his way into the navigation area. “That’s weird, there is a port here…” Azrael said to himself as he’d make his way onto the deck of the ferry boat.
[10 Minutes Later]
The horn would blow; the ship began its acceleration, while Azrael leaned against the rails of the deck staring off into the sea as the Moon grew much more visible in the sky. The village hidden in the mist’s name is an understatement… I’m not even in the village and it feels like the clouds have fallen from the sky to obscure my view… he thought to himself. Though as time progressed his mind wandered elsewhere and before he knew it the horn blew once more as they’d make their way into the shores of Claw Country. Luckily they gave me a mini map, I don’t know my way around here he thought to himself leaping from the ship onto the shores as he’d press forward towards another docking area which only carried small ships.
