Under the Watchful Eye (Mission)

The atmosphere was chilled, an uneasy sensation coursing up and down the man's spine. A few yards from the Village Gates, Toraku stole a glance over his shoulder, gazing at the two Genin who traveled with him to this point. "We'll begin with scouting this general area, working our way further from the Gates." There was that all too familiar sensation creeping along Toraku's flesh. It had led him to the brink of insanity where it sustained an unbreakable hold on him.

Removing his gaze from Damin and Jiqu, Toraku would caress the side of his skull, as one would do with a headache. Glaring some at the discomfort, the Chuunin would commence their travel. Feet sweeping across the lengthy grass, Toraku allowed both arms to loosely dangle at his sides. Hues would dart left to right, observing the area with exact precision. Not a single detail would go unnoticed.

[Jiquan, Ibaraki]

Jiquan nodded as he was told they would scout from this area outward, as he waited to continue he noticed Toraku bring his arm to his head, as if in pain. 'Weird, what's wrong with him? I should probably ask if he's--'. Jiquan stopped mid-thought as Toraku started to run again.

He picked up the pace and followed, looking at Damin for a moment he grinned, "Excited?".

Damin returned jiquans grin, “A little, think we’re likely to run into anyone dangerous?” Running after Jiquan and Toraku, he constantly glanced to either side trying to spot anything out of the ordinary. ’How are we going to know if someone shouldn’t be here?’ Unable to come to an answer, Damin asked Toraku the same question.

Kenshin had been searching just about a year for a place he could call home. He had been to the land of wind , earth, waterfall, river, thunder, grass, sound , and fire. He's been in the land of water for about a week and had no interaction with human life forms. Bird lots and lots of them he'd been surrounded by. On this day he finds himself following the birds and he was just sitting down on the ground when they all scattered.


Wondering why they just scattered like that he would activate his wings and take flight. In the sky he could see three people moving. "Seems to be a team of some sort. Maybe i should let them now I'm here." He said to himself. Kenshin would fly down to the ground just a little ahead from the guy in front of the group.

"Hello my name is Kenshin its nice to meet you all." He would say.

The unknown creature had taken flight. Wings gliding through the clear blue skies. It landed not far from where the trio stood. Toraku's feet came to a stop to gaze upon its figure. The winged being had turned out to be a teenaged boy who stood much taller than Toraku. Kenshin... but where was this ninja's headband? It was completely absent from any part of his body. This would be the trigger to Toraku's anger.

At his finger tips, sharpened talons would begin to form¹. Due to the cloak he whore, this enactment would go entirely unnoticed. Until that moment Toraku pulled back his right hand. In the blink of an eye, the pointed instruments would be used to lacerate the man across his delicate facial exterior. Blood would ooze from the three angry slashes, but the Chuunin did not stop there.

He would attempt to close his hands on opposing sides of the boy's skull. In doing so, Toraku would yank Kenshin's upper body downward. While doing this, the right knee of Toraku would be used to slam into the boy's face. Had this all gone according to plan, the Chuunin would thrust Kenshin's figure to the ground. Towering above, Toraku sent a cold stare down at Kenshin. "You're not from Kirigakure. Where did you come from?"

Effect: The user pushes the knuckles of their fingers a little outwards and quickly exerts out three claws from the indents of the knuckles into three like claws.
Special: ---
Drawback: "D" As long as the claws are out the user will undergo the disease capability because of the bones being within the inner body as well as the natural healing capability found within the Bones of the user.
Description: The user exerts outwards three claws from their inner part of their skin that is located near their knuckles. The bones along their fingers and the muscles along their fingers push out the bones in a hardened shape form. The bone solidifies making it seem like three large like claws as the claws are pushed out in a distance of approximately eighteen inches in length.

[Jiquan, Ibaraki]

As the figure descended from the sky, Jiquan slid to a halt, 'What the... he's flying, what kind of Ninjutsu is this'. Jiquan reached for a Kunai, spinning in his hand before grabbing it ready to throw. As the figure landed he watched intently, just as he was about to throw, he noticed Toraku's knuckle bones grow out into claws.

The figure opened their mouth, the greeting that followed is not what Jiquan had expected, what he expected even less was the way Toraku responded. Charging forward in a rage he was attempting to savage the winged teenager.

'What's he doing... he'll stop in a moment, ..he's going for the face, oh my god.. wh--. "Stop," Jiquan said quietly, then again "Stop!" this time a shout. If the situation did not diffuse he would try to pull Toraku from the boy.

Damin stopped sharply, watching as the person with wings flew down out of the sky and landed in front of them. ’A person with wings? I’ve never seen anything like that before, is it some kind of Ninjutsu?’

Damin was thinking on how to react when they started to introduce themselves, but were cut short by Toraku moving in to attack them. “What the hells going on?!” Standing back Damin watched on to see what would happen, unsure on what to do.

Kenshin looked as the two ninja behind the guy in front stopped in there tracks. The guy in front just ruched at him what appeared to be bone claws. A kaguya he thought to himself from old meeting with random ones. Before it was to late he would take to the sky while making handseals holding the tiger.

"He now buddy i come in peace i mean you guys no harm. I'm just looking for a place that i can call home I,m a non ninja in the Tubussa clan." Has he said that water would surround the guy that charged at him holding him in place. " I can see that you all are Mist ninjas at least."

Suiton: Koushou Suiro no Jutsu (Advanced Water Prison)

Effect: Traps the opponent within the Suiro no Jutsu without the needed effect of having one’s hands stuck within the technique.
Special: Handseals
Description: The user creates a large amount of water around the opponent’s feet that spreads upwards rapidly. The movement upwards is so rapid that escaping from it is next to impossible. Once trapped inside the water, the same rules of Suiro no Jutsu applies to the one trapped- the user is unable to move beyond a few centimeters inside of the water. The user must hold the Tiger seal for the prison to stay intact- however, they are capable of moving around and doing anything that doesn’t break the seal.

Handsigns... yet this young man claimed to have not been gifted in the art of Ninjutsu. Something was amiss, but the order of seals, they were familiar. Ah, yes, the Advanced Water Prison. Before the supposed Non Nin could complete the various hand signs, Toraku would have already completed a body flicker^1/10 and reappeared behind the teenaged man. For him to have been able to create water out of thin air, this man would have had to have a great knowledge of Suiton techniques. Perhaps Toraku was underestimating him, but he wouldn't allow be outdone like this.

As he remained out of Kenshin's line of sight, Toraku would make an effort to understand what this man had to say, but all the same, a series of seals had already begun. They were lies, they had to have been. This Kenshin, he had to be destroyed. No, Toraku. You will stick to the mission. The Chuunin scowled, teeth bared in his immense frustration.

Hands dropped to his sides, and as a mutt would obey his master, Toraku did not defy any longer. Calm down. Don't be stupid. Think. Fists dangled at his waist, knuckles tainted white. "And you wish for us to show you to the Gates. The audacity, I won't allow it!"Toraku shouted to the heavens where Kenshin was located. The mission... remember the mission... "Return to ground level, Kenshin. Stand down, and I will take you to Lord Mizukage."

[Jiquan, Ibaraki]

As Toraku blurred out the way, Jiquan noticed the winged "non-ninja" begin to form hand signs. 'Shit, I'm such a fool!' Jiquan thought as he began running, turning to Damin he said, "Cover me."
Jiquan jumped into the air, expecting some attack to come from Toraku, but nothing.

Jiquan gained a massive amount of air and came in for his attack plummeting from above. 'Damin uses a ranged style, hopefully he distracts him'. This was Jiquan's last thought before bringing out both elbows, he intend to strike his opponent in His Brachial Plexus Motor point, each elbow aimed for either shoulder. Just before the strike would land he would hear Toraku's words, only too late.

Damin saw Toraku use shunshin and noted the stranger using Handseals. ’Dammit! What’s he doing?’ Hearing Jiquan say “Cover me.” and seeing him run forward, Damin nodded in acknowledgment.

“Okay!” ’Best thing I can do for now is try to support Jiquan and Toraku.’ With this in mind, Damin quickly performed the handseals needed for “Brain Shuffler”. If his opponent wasn’t seeing attacks properly then Jiquan and Tokaru would have no problems subduing him. Finishing the handseals Damin only allowed the smallest gap before he immediately went into another set of handseals. He was just about to finish and use ‘Fuuton Kaze no Senbon’ when he heard Tokaru say “Return to ground level, Kenshin. Stand down, and I will take you to Lord Mizukage.” Cursing his and Jiquans rashness, he stopped himself and hoped Jiquan wouldn’t cause too much damage, or that the stranger wouldn’t over react…

Brain Shuffler

Effect: Shuffles the targets information-processing system, making one attack appear to be something very different. Duration: five rounds

Drawback: Different shuffle sets are not controllable
Description: After finishing the seals, the target is totally immersed in the genjutsu, as well as totally unable to realize that they were affected, as it only shuffles appearances, but all in all still appears real. There are three distinct shuffle sets:
mirror shuffle: the target sees everything in mirror image, an attack from the left actually coming from the right, top actually from bottom, elemental NinJutsu appear opposite of their element.

clutter shuffle: the target sees everything at a completely random setup, much more effective than the mirror shuffle, as an attack from either side could appear to be coming from the bottom or vice versa.

perfect random: the most powerful illusion, in this version a TaiJutsu may not even be so, it could be a ninjutsu, or even a completely different taijutsu. A target trapped in this level of illusion looks like a complete idiot more often than not, guarding from attacks that do not exist.
Limit: Must have Genjutsu specialist to perform clutter or perfect shuffles. Must have the Phantasm Perception.

Floating in the air he saw the kaguya shunined behind him and say, " The mission... remember the mission... "Return to ground level, Kenshin. Stand down, and I will take you to Lord Mizukage."

But before Kenshin could land he could hear someone jump off the ground. After hearing that Kenshin started making handseals. Causing a Tornado of water to spiral around him to block whatever was coming at him. He would land and saying, " Thank you and sorry about that I'll explain if you want me to."

Effect: Creates a spiraling vortex upwards to be used as a defensive like move or an offensive like move.

Description: A technique where water is is made into a large spiraling vortex that spins around the ninja. This technique can ber used both offensively and defensively. Offensively to attack the opponent,and defensively to deflect attacks. This is in conjunction with the Great Exploding Current in which the water sprouts out in a vortex like form.
Limit: Water Release, must know the Great Exploding Current Technique.

"Cover me." The Mist Genin, Damin and Jiquan. Toraku had forgotten about them. From what he could see, Jaquin made the decision to go on the offense, attempting to strike the Non Ninja, Kenshin. "Stop!" Toraku shouted to his companion, but they would fall upon deaf ears. There was little other option for this Chuunin to make. While Kenshin already began his own handsigns for a jutsu, Toraku would lung upward at a very particular angle.

Though he attempted to shield both himself and Kenshin from the Krav Maga technique, he would be impaled by the Mist Genin's powerful attack. And only moments afterward, the Suiton technique would strike effectively. A victim to the unstoppable vortex, Toraku would be thrown various yards. His limp body hung suspended in the air for some time before falling to the ground, a mere heap on the ground. One eye tightly clenched shut, Toraku firmly pressed both palms to the ground, making the strenuous effort to ascend to his feat.

Successful his attempt was, standing a bit hunched over, Toraku would support himself with a palm pressed to his patella. "Our mission is to scout the area, Kenshin, and it hasn't yet been completed. Once it has, my next priority, is to bring you to Lord Mizukage." Crimson fluid drizzled from the edges of Toraku's mouth, however his injuries were nothing near fatal. He would straighten himself out and begin his stride forth, brushing his shoulder with Kenshin. "Sorry for the rudeness." It was time for their mission to begin again.

[Jiquan, Ibaraki]

Jiquan watched on helplessly as the vortex engulfed his target, whirling at such speed he would surely suffer injury. No other alternative he braced himself for impact, then in no time at all Toraku was in front of him.

Jiquan had detected no trace of his movement, it was so fast and then with a crash he collided. His attack had hit, but the wrong person. The impact absorbed Jiquan's momentum and he was able to land off balance and stumble over, no injury received.

However, Jiquan was much more concerned with what had happened to Toraku, he had been hit by two strong hits and for a moment it had looked really serious. He was relieved to see Toraku able to stand, more amazingly he wished to continue. Stunned, it took a moment for Jiquan to find some words. "Are... are you alright? I'm so sorry..." Jiquan apologized, still not exactly sure what had happened.

Damin could only stand by and watch as everything played out. He was sure that Jiquan was about to hit the stranger when suddenly Toraku was between them. He saw Toraku take the full force of the attack from Jiquan before being thrown violently by the tornado of water that had just materialised.

Seeing Jiquan land fine, albeit a little awkwardly, and Toraku stand up, looking only a little worse for wear, Damin felt relieved. ’Well, at least noone’s seriously hurt.’ Turning to Kenshin, Damin gave a small bow and apologised “Sorry for our actions. Who did you say you were again?” before following after Toraku. They could talk while walking.

Detracting his wings he said," I'm Kenshin Tubussa I was born in the land of sound where i began my ninja trainin. But one day i was flying with my sister and we were kidnapped. That explains my profencey in the water release. But i don't know any of your names. And I'm sorry about hitting you with my tornado I was just trying to defend myself." Then begin to follow the others.

Trailing behind Toraku was a tattered cloak resting upon his shoulders. Kenshin's assault had done its own damage to Toraku's garments. A step forward began Toraku's slight stagger at first, but within time the Chuunin seemed to gain his balance again. The words shared among the others were disregarded, although processed by the now silent Toraku. Their advancement would lead them to a nicely settled stream. Almost naturally, chakra was channeled to the souls of Toraku's feet.

Stepping to its surface, Toraku condensed his energy to give himself a solid foundation to walk upon. His hand glided along his jaw, pushing away the stream of vital fluid from his lip. "This is as far as we go." Over his shoulder, Toraku would look to the others, as though he intended to share a few more words. However, nothing exited his vocal cords, and he would begin walking in the opposite direction. Passing through the trio of ninja, Toraku had turned his body partially around to assure everyone was following.

( Mission complete, Exit. We'll make more of an effort next time, sorry for the lame posts lately. )

[Jiquan, Ibaraki]

Jiquan followed as they ran, he did so in relative silence, taking in the scenery and continuing the mission professionally. Then as they arrived at a stream, he followed Toraku walking on the surface. Toraku then declared the mission successfully complete and they would begin to return home.

As they journeyed, Jiquan considered this a good time to break the ice. He wanted to get to know his new team-mates a little better. As he thought about how to go about it, he decided to introduce himself in a little more depth.

"Ok guys, I'm Jiquan Ibaraki, but I prefer just Jiqu... I grew up on a farm, but then I had to go to a monastery to live. That's where I became proficient in Martial Arts. Whilst there, I met a really interesting person... he was a Shinobi from this Village and had seen lots of the world. Hearing about my adventures sort of inspired me and that's why I'm here today, to start off where he started and have my own adventures.

Erm... what else, I suppose that’s just about me... I don't really live anywhere at the moment as I have no money, so I tend to odd jobs for people to earn a keep, but now I'm a Ninja missions will supply me with a source of money I've never really had." Jiquan stopped there thinking about things he could buy.

He then looked up at the others expectantly; hoping one of them would take the hint and do what he had just done. He did not wish to return back in silence.

When Kenshin had introduced himself once more, Damin introduced himself too. “I’m Damin Arashi, born and raised in this country.” He was unwilling to share more of his history at this point. He followed Toraku watching the chuunin carefully, trying to gain some measure of his character, his silence and the way he gave nothing away was discomforting.

Damin was still following quietly, feeling a little awkward, when Toraku reached a stream and walked partway out on it before announcing the mission completed and turning to head back. ’When did he know we had done enough? Or did he just decide?’

Damin was preparing himself mentally for another quiet slog back, when Jiquan suddenly spoke up, explaining a little of his history. ’Thank you Jiquan.’ Damin listened closely to what Jiquan had to say and waited patiently for him to finish. When he had, and saw Jiquan look up at everyone else, Damin figured it was his turn to tell a little.

“Hmm, I don’t really know where to start… I’m apart of a traditionalistic family. We uphold the same traditions as we did a hundreds of years ago. All the men in my family have been ninja and they have all been profecient with Ninjutsu. Theres other stuff as well, like these tattoos but it’s kinda hard to explain.” Damin pulled a face as he followed Toraku back to the village, he didn’t like explaining his past and his family to people.
