((OOC sorry about the wait kouga))
It was noon when Zag reached his contact point, a small fort manned by a pair of chunnins and some other volunteers, he walked up to whom he was supposed to report too, a tall chunnin with a scar across his chin and a pair of swords, clearly this guy was thouroughly grizzled, he took one look at Zag and said "Gennin, follow this map and don't deviate from 'et." he thrust out a small folded map, it showed a few of the country paths (but not the hidden village) including one that had been highlighted.
"I'm part of a team, should i wait here for him?" Zag asked.
"I'll send 'im out if i see 'em." the chunnin said, his odd accent suggested his jaw may not have benn broken a few times.
With that Zag moved out following his assigned patrol route.
Things were going slow, Zag figured kouga was just delayed for a bit, the sky was its usual stormy grey but it had'nt rained so far, Zag followed his path, the dirt roads were over used and a constant traffic of cart bearing agricultural produce wheeled by every few minutes but nothing really exciting.
((OOC i'll leave it to kouga to make things intresting, free reign to make something crazy happen))
