[Using Time Skip TP to train. One year skipping in progress...]
Rain. It was something that had become rare over the last year of travelling, seeing many different things in the varied lands he had visited. To stand in this place again, to feel the cold droplets gently caressing his tanned skin, was a sensation that brought joy to his face. His haori would be soaked through before he reached his home, but that was its purpose, after all. Adjusted it to keep his burgandy Gi a little drier, Kininata Hyouketsu, Sandaime Amekage, continued his saunter through the once familiar woodlands that littered the Ame no Kuni. He long hair bounced on top of his coat, each of the three tails slowly absorbing the moisture of the cold drops; his hands remained dry, hidden under the sleeves of his protective garment, but his eyes... he had forgotten how much it could get into his eyes. He extended his hands, forming a set of Hand Seals, and released a light stream of Chakra into the air. Within moments the rain immediately around him stopped, rising above him - along with the water his clothes and hair had taken in - and continued to walk towards his home unaffected by the rain for the remainder of the journey, using only a trickle of Chakra at a time to keep the rain away from himself. In a few weeks, he might get used to being drenched by the rain fall of his homeland, but for the moment, he preferred the more recent experience of being warm and dry.
For another hour he wandered, trying to recall where the checkpoint to Amekagure no Sato should have been. He started to recognise some of the landmarks, and reached under his haori... pulling out his forehead protector. He had not worn it since he left a little over a year ago, and now, it seemed odd that he had to wear it all over again. Rather than placing it on his head, however, he instead strung it around his neck like a broach, then proceeded along the hidden path that should lead towards the checkpoint. Almost another hour later, he saw the final markers that led towards it, and then took a few moments to prepare himself. 'This should be interesting...'
