Mission; Beautification of Kusa
I would travel towards the town square, having been given a list and several bags of seeds. This task would take all day however thankfully towards the end of the day I was no longer restless but rather bored and lazy. With a loud yawn I would unsling the bag of seeds from my back and reach inside. Earlier this morning I had already over turned a large patch of grass with which I could place this seed. Bending low I'd place them in one by one, careful not to space them too close together. Even I had a natural knowledge of gardening from living in such a village, even if my skills had nothing to do with flowers and trees. Mokuton no Jutsu ran predominate in this village so I was quite aware of how to do my work.
After planting some seed in the village center I would head next to the park. While the park was already covered in a lush, heavy flora I did not think it would hurt to put a little more down. Moving over towards the area where there were swings I'd plant a tree seed, hoping to offer some shade one day to the small children who would play here. With a wide grin I'd wipe my brow and stare up at the setting sun. The sky was becoming a deep orange, something I found to be quite beautiful when I stared long enough. The setting sun offered me a sorta of stillness that I never found during the day, perhaps because I was such an excitable busy body.
Next I would head into the yards of the nearby residents, planting flower seeds for them. Digging up small plots of land, I would turn up the soft soil and place my seeds down. With a grunt I would work with focused diligence, making sure to stick to my spacing. This work was quite easy so I would be done in no time, it was just slow work was all. Just one more mission after this and I would be allowed entrance into the Chuunin exams, I was already participating in one just by simply doing a stream of missions for this week. I had to admit, the pay had been quite good, I had made a small fortune alone doing odd tasks that no one else would enjoy. Each job taught me something new about myself.
Finishing up with the gardens I could not help but smile as I dusted myself off. They never said how long I was required to help so by assumptions I just figured I could be done whenever I felt I had planted enough seed. Looking into my bag I would realize that I had planted them all anyway. Slinging the shovel back over my shoulder I would turn and look towards the Kage Mansion. The exams were too close, I was sure that my work would be enough, I had more important things to be preparing for. With a yawn I would trod down the path and turn in the bag I had borrowed before I would make for the Kage Mansion. A grin would appear on my face as I threw my fist into the air, just one more!
