To Sea! Chuunin exams here she comes.

Thus I broke out in an epic run, in fact I was so sure that this would be the greatest run of my life that I dubbed it "Arashi's Marathon of hope". Lame title, sure but I needed to roll asap. It started with my run across Tsuchi no Kuni's landscape. I was headed north to a familiar boatsman. The very boatsman I had used to travel to Claw last time.

Springing into the air to avoid some rolling rocks, I pushed forth into the distance. This was really it, the docks were just up ahead. It was late, very late. Why I decided to take off in the middle of the night is beyond me. All I knew was that a night time trip to Sea would be the right setting to get me hyped up. Once I was closer I yelled out to a sleeping boatsman "Excuse me sir, I need your services please!"

The look on his face was priceless, the bubble coming from his nose popped as he woke up startled. I reached into my pouch and held out my ryo. That certainly perked him up yep yep. Coming to a skidding halt right along the docks, I nearly jumped into the man's boat. I had enough restraint to ease myself in, albeit quickly. He could tell I was anxious because he got straight to paddling. The sea between our nation and claw wasn't that long.

A quick boat ride or so it felt with my heart racing. Honestly, would I be able to make it there in time? Well I certainly better!

Zoom like a gust of wind I was out of the boat, onto the docks and racing through Claw. The scenary really wasn't too important provided I didn't run into anything. This was one of those crazy marathons I'd invision doing for training purposes. With my career on the line (I like to exagerate forgive me), I would run with everything I had. Surely any kunoichi in my situaiton would do the same. Oh if only I had wings to fly, then I'ld be fine! Hehe even rhyming is easier on the go. The dense woodland of claw wasn't visually appealing to my optics in the least. Rather it just looked so...dull. This place almost felt like a wasteland and considering the sudden vision of my aborted mission, it's easy to see why.

At the very least, I was taking a bit of the scenic route. Propeling myself from the ground to the tree branches above, I'd begin to hop from branch to branch. Not that I Was attempting to avoid detection or prevemt tracking but I was definitely used to doing this as a result of being in Konoha. Speaking of Konoha, I hadn't been back since I was scheduled to speak with Godaime. I wondered how they were doing? Perhaps I'd enter there again when I obtained the rank of "chuunin". Confident much? Absolutely, I had prepared that whole year just for this event.

Even now as I hop down from the branches back to the terrain below, I visualize various strategies. What really excites me though is the crowds that'll be watching. Rich feudal lords, my Tsuchikage, even my best friend's family might turn out. They've always been my support well along with Yondaime. It's times like this that I feel like a real fangirl to all those who are important to me. Perhaps this time, they'll become the fans. Feeling pumped up, I once more waived some Ryo to a boatsman in the distance. Even though it was REALLY late, he seemed energetic. Perhaps my positive energy was contagious. "To Sea Country sir, let's go!"

He chuckled at my enthusiasm and prepared the boat. Once I was in range, I came to a skidding halt and boarded once allowed. Soon my little boat would place me off into the dark ocean. There was many an island to detour around, particularly Mizu no Kuni and Tea. Just the same I admittedly fell asleep. Perhaps the excitment was simply borrowed energy. The rest though helped to freshen me up and the boatsman woke me up upon arrival at Sea.
