Arashi couldn't help but giggle after the brawler explained that he couldn't make dozens of Rock Clones. Despite this, she nodded her head to confirm she understood his capabilities to the extent that he presented. As a result she made sure that the clones heading towards the jungle were equipped with stealth via her genjutsu as stated in her original plan.

The last clone who went to explore the opposite side of the beach also received Arashi's generous gift and would proceed with his own search (taking over said clone's search). The Iwa bunshin had made his route towards the western shoreline. Along the way he dug various holes into the sandy dunes. There was locations which didn't look suspicious and there were shadowed portions which did. Depending on what he found hidden within the sands; he'd utilize a different approach to his search. If the clone of Takeshi was to discover simple seashells or hidden crustaceans; then he'd begin to search along the shallow waters. The examiner mentioned these scrolls were hidden on the island, a vary vague reference and so it was best to confirm that it was hiding under their nose (literally due to starting along the shores).
A factor to consider in all this was if the sand looked tampered with, for in the event he didn't have luck finding anything but the pure sand then he'd begin to examine for any possible footprints across the beach. It might be silly to think of a chuunin class ninja or higher leaving such clues behind but in the haste of a mission, exploitation of such weaknesses was for the best. Despite the seeming deligence, the clone wasn't exactly amused with this game. Essentially they were playing pirates. Who could locate the burried treasure first was the perogative. Leting out a sigh, he'd take a moment to step back from his search regardless. His eyes would scan the coastline. The border between the sandy dunes and the grassy plains was one spot to be examined as well. Once more areas such as this made for a prime target and so in the safety of the western line the fairly tall grass was explored for any signs of his assignment. Moving along, there were many, many, many trees in this jungle. "Is it possible this thing is in one of these trees?" The clone pondered aloud.
A change of perspective would be needed as well as safer travel. In order to avoid the enemy for now, it was best to the take the high road. Making his way atop the canopy above, he'd begin to search the western front via treetop. He looked for minor things such as the spacing of branches, any signs of hollowed trunks, as well as any animal dwellings that the scroll could be placed inside. The idea of a lion guarding the scroll sounded funny but it was said time and time again to expect the unexpected; especially in the chuunin exams. Of course the doppleganger's eyes didn't fail to notice the jungle floor. It would be a crying shame if it was left in plainsight along the ground. In particular, ants had a way of finding the most unusual objects to bring back to their camp. Assuming he found a stream of ants moving, he'd observe carefully just to confirm if their home was disturbed via the entrance. If it was he'd explore further in hopes that the entranceway was modified to hold the scroll.
However it was safe to say the clone wouldn't have such an easy time in his quest. The best solution as he moved along the western flank; was to seek high ground. High ground would allow a better look of the island and better ideas as to where the scroll might be.

Her partner requested for her to follow him as they'd proceed to search the sandy dunes of the island. She'd comply with his request because it was her idea to do so. Thanks to her trusty Binoculars she'd begin to look all around the island with a range of 1000 yards(914.4 meters). The truth of the situation would soon become clear; there was nothing that would escape the powerful gaze of these lens. She looked out into the distance to briefly see each team moving along before they went further into the jungle. To the naked eye she couldn't see the clones following. Apparently the grass seemed to stand on edge before settling. Due to the posture it was safe to say it was a jutsu and not the sway of the island breeze. Tracing the grass' rise/fall, the domino effect would lead to the caster. "Mokuton Ninjutsu...or is it simply manipulation of the grass itself? Doubtful...must be Mokuton..." Arashi mused to herself. Now then focusing away from the jungle, her binoculars looked out along the eastern coast. With her range if there was anything along the coastline such as a cove, she'd most likely pick it up. After which she looked along the waters, specifically down the shallow portion of the shore. The corals around the island were magnificent, definitely worth the sight yet she also wondered of the possibility of detecting one of the scrolls along these outskirts. Should there be anything suspicious about the coral or even the flow of crustaceans lurking Arashi would take a second look.
After carefully looking out, she'd slip the binoculars back into her pouch and join her comrade in his searching. No stone was unturn, no weary log unkept. With so many of these weathered down trunks scattered along the island, hunting proved to be interesting. Arashi made sure to stick close to her partner so that their mobility wasn't hindered. Burrowing into the sand at various points, she attempted to thoroughly check that there was nothing to be discovered. The simplest seashell or crab would give her a vague understanding of her surroundings. The goal of the search whilst being to obviously find the scrolls with the map; was to move along the eastern portion of the island. Eventually they'd need to search the jungles if the perimeter sweep proved unsuccessful. Entering from the eastern flank would provide them adequate distance from their enemies.
Thus along the horizon Arashi would notice the first metallic pole. Her eyes would slowly adjust to examine the object further. Once she took note of the microphone she became curious. The wiring for the PA system meant there was hidden chuunin examiner bases along the island. Although it was a long-shot, it would be something else if one of the scrolls was hidden on or around such a location. Thus she'd retrieve her binoculars and take a good look at it. In the event there was nothing of significance on the PA system she'd simply move on in her search.
"So Takeshi-kun, do you have any useful doton jutsu that can help us explore underground?"
She asked for hiding it beneath the earth was certainly not an obscure hiding place. At the same time, hiding it there with no genin capable of using doton jutsu would be quite unfortunate.

Located every few dozen yards, solitary metallic poles extend from the earth that rise to a mounted microphone. This PA system was created specifically for the chuunin examination.
