Personality:
Hinagiku can be considered to be a free spirited woman. At times she can be quite brash, especially upon topics that clash with what she feels inside her heart. In her eyes, good doesn't necessarily mean lawful and to that extent she will stand up for herself. This also applies to defending/helping friends in need. For Hinagiku, friendship and family go hand in hand. To the people that she lets into her circle, they are all like family and she will commit herself to those people as much as she can. However being a very intelligent young woman, she knows when toAppearance:
draw the line.
When a person has drawn the line, a different side of Hinagiku can be seen. This side is considered to be a pure state of apathy. When Hinagiku is pushed this far, she only attempts to take necessary action against those who cause wrong doing. After that, her interest with the antagonist of the situation is nulled. This is because Hinagiku is not a vengeful woman by any means. When she is angry, she usually results to isolation or sarcasm as a means to cope with the stressful emotion. This is to ensure that she herself doesn't cross anyone too badly. Conflict should only be tackled when it's morally correct to do so!
As a student, Hinagiku is very dilegent and eager to learn. Her eagerness usually stems from wanting to impress her teachers. She's the teacher's pet type, though it's not something she consciously realizes. She's just naturally drawn to good people's aura. With that in mind, she doesn't like to train by herself, otherwise she might get distracted by things around her. This ranges from the cloud formations in the sky, animals in the area, or even an unusual arrangement of plant life. This only applies to physical practice as she has no qualms hitting up books at all.
Often, one can mistake Hinagiku for being Apathetic despite being quite happy and content. This is due to the fact that she doesn't quite smile as much. Her mother often being quite serious and dedicated to clan life, never took the luxory and likewise this aspect was passed on from mother to daughter, despite having very vague memories of her if at all. Those that do get her to smile are treated to a warm smile that gives off a motherly feel. Its the type of smile that comes straight from the heart, reserved only for those close to her.
Though there is a type of smile one might see Hinagiku express. It's that of a confident smile, borderline smirk. Being raised as a member of the Hyuuga, Hinagiku is very confident in herself, a trait that hasn't left her despite her forced separation many years ago. She hates to see bossy people as well as overconfident people. When she encounters said types of people, she's quite willing to drop their confidence down a notch to show them their place. However that's only if there's some merit to their confidence. In the event there is not and their confidence is baseless, she'll simply ignore them all together.
Raised to have proper etiquette and manners, Hinagiku addresses those she speaks with using the proper titles. Though being free spirited, she doesn't expect others to return such manners. This aspect of her is mostly done in habit and is also something she doesn't consciously recognize unless pointed out to her. In the case that it is, she apologizes and makes every effort to make the subject omfortable, though she does slip up from time to time.
Bloodlimit: Hyuuga - Byakugan - (White Eye/Evil Eye)
Hinagiku prefers to wear dark colours, prefering the shaded version of popular colours in favour of their tints. Her traditional attire is described as follows:
With her former brown hair now a lovely dark green, her hair is combed into two pigtails, tied back with two white bands. Her pigtails fall past her shoulder to her mid back.
What would normally be her lovely white eyes that glisten like diamonds; is instead masked by green contacts. This is done to ensure that nobody recognizes the young Hyuuga and targets her for her unique traits. In addition, around her forehead where the branch family seal would be is a black headband. Beneath the headband is a bandage wrap that she rarely removes unless she has her father's permission. Around her neck is a silver chain and pendant. Inside the pendant is a picture of her twin sister. In current memory of her sister, she has grown her hair out long and mirrored her hairstyle.
The start to her usual attire consists of a long white collar that's propped up a bit past her mid neck. Upon this collar is a sole grey strike on either side. Leading from the collar to her shoulders, one will see white shoulder pads. Engraved in the middle is a cross shape, though it was made it reminded her of the letter 't', a funny letter for her. Though that was long ago, now the emblem has no meaning. Likewise, below the emblem is a silver button, added for style purposes only.
After moving away from the shoulders, one can see that Hinagiku is wearing a fashionable long sleeve shirt. Down the middle is a long white stripe, with a thin grey line towards the left hand side. Just a bit below the collar bone, is a circular pattern composing of silver and white stripes. The sleeves are cuffed, with a silver button towards the left side for the left arm, and the right side for the right arm. Near the tip of the cuffs, is a silver line that trails the design.
Around her waist is a white belt with a grey stripe across the middle. This belt is actually her mist forehead protector, the metal plating located across the right hip and towards the back. The shirt itself falls down past her waist. There's a slit that divides the front and back which reveals the next
article in question.
Said article would be the layered white skirt. Beneath the layered skirt would be black shorts that cuts off just a bit before the skirt itself, thus revealing bare skin before reaching to her long black boots. These long black boots reach up above the knees creating a small border between her white skirt and the boots itself. The heels on these boots are rather short. The boots themselves are leather, purchased for Hinagiku when she was sixteen.
An alternation to her footwear would be blackstockings of similar length worn with the TS Trick skates. Her skates match up with her gothic attire. At the tip of the skates, above the ankle is a silver linning mixed with white. The insides of the skates are midnight blue. The laces of the skates are silver as well, interwining with the beautiful black. A white linning then picks up at the base of the skates before the wheels themselves. The wheels are black with white hubs and a silver interior. There made to match a size 8.
An unusual quirk for Hinagiku is that she has several copies of her regular attire. In addition, she has the very attire described in various colours (Royal Blue, Inverse colours of the costume, Emerald green, Ruby red, and Rugosa Pink).
When she is not wearing this style of clothing, she is dressed in a traditional black gi. Said Gi is sleeveless, the collar area is meshed. Around the waist is a white belt, except this one is a plain belt. For this attire, she wears a traditional forehead protector around her forehead. The Hitae-ate is dark blue and used to belong to a precious friend in Mist.

Look BelowHistory:
Hinagiku's story starts off prior to her birth. This story foretells of a tragic love story with two beautiful girls being created as a result. In order to better understand the history of Hyuuga Hinagiku, we must reflect upon the past.
Before Hinagiku, a tale of love...restricted by Family
Hyuuga Yukina was a prominent member of the main family of Hyuuga. Though her offspring weren't destined to be the heir/heiress of Hyuuga, at least they'd be brought into a good home. This was Yukina's true aspiration. She had completed many breathtaking missions for the village with her teammates: Nara-Yamanaka Hitosuke, Inuzuka Daisuke, and sensei Minamoto Kohaku. The team, all of Jounin class now hadn't done much missions together since adulthood. Their own personal lives and schedules conflicted. Yet despite not being able to do missions together, they always tried to set aside time to spend together.
Inuzuka Daisuke always attempted to act as the leader and came off as an older brother. You can say the Inuzuka kept the team together, by utilizing his fiery passion, and big heart. Within this romantic story, Daisuke himsef was never involved in the triangle. His love was for Yamanaka Fuuko. In many ways, this stance helped him to act as a middleman. Wether one could say this was a fortunate position is left to ones interpretation.
The love triangle if you will, was between Hyuuga Yukina, Nara-Yamanaka Hitosuke and Hyuuga Joushiro. It wasn't a triangle that was always in effect but perhaps it was inevitable by fate alone. A main branch member of Hyuuga couldn't marry outside the clan. How would the potency of the Byakugan fare with outside blood?
For a prominent clan with a kekkei genkai, breeding outside the clan was a huge taboo.
Yet for Yukina, she had always loved Hitosuke. This started long ago when they were but genin apart of Team Kohaku. At that time, they were team 3. There teamwork was far from perfect but it was adequate enough to lead. During those times, the trio was fiercely competitive with each other. Each of them coming from promient clans of Konoha just added fuel to the fire. Yet over time they would mellow down and begin to develop a strong bond throughout the chuunin exams and beyond. Age and experience had matured the former genin team 3 and now they were simply Team Kohaku. This you might say is when love came to play, that is...between
Hitosuke and Yukina.
There was many times they snuck away from the team itself to go on "dates". Often
times away from the weary eyes of Hyuuga but the family had plenty to say about Yukina's future. At the moment, she was a prominent chuunin who would rise to the rank of elite ninja. Upon what would be considered Yukina and Hitosuke's seventh date, Joushiro entered the fray. When he was introduced to Yukina there was never any mention of being the arranged fiancee for Yukina. It was a friendly meeting and the two seemed to have an understanding for each other. On the Hyuuga estate, the two eventually spent more time together but it did not impact her relationship with Hitosuke at the time.
However Daisuke himself realized that something was up but did not want to get involved. He rationalized that him getting involved might create unnecessary tension and ruin the teams dynamics. For awhike Yukina struggled with her growing feelings for the Hyuuga and her childhood sweetheart. Upon passing the jounin exam, she began to participate on solo missions. This of course worried Daisuke who would later arrange a private talk with her. After talking with Daisuke, whom she confided in about the two men, time seemed to move slow. It was a long waiting game for Joushiro and Hitosuke, one that affected Hitosuke more so.
His confidence was lower than the cocky main branch Hyuuga, especially considering the circumstances. In addition he too felt pressure from his own family to marry either a Yamanaka or Nara. Finally after some pushing from Daisuke and their sensei, Yukina finally chose Hitosuke. He was so thrilled yet low on cash at the time, so he decided to treat her to the popular Ichiraku ramen. Perhaps things might have been smoother for this pair had Joushiro not witnessed them together. He was returning
from a mission to Bear country and upon seeing the two in each other's embraced,
chose to keep quiet about it until he could speak with Yukina personally.
However Joushiro wasn't the only one to witness the affectionate act. Yukina's mother, Kohana also saw the young couple and upon her returning home, reprimanded her in private. Sayings such as "What were you thinking?!" and "Do you wish to disgrace Hyuuga" where key statements said. Then the bomb shell dropped, Hitosuke and Yukina could never be together because Yukina was engaged to Joushiro. It was announced to the two early in the morning, sakura petals were just starting to bloom. Joushiro was estatic but Yukina felt torn about the situation. Not being able to come to grips with the situation, Yukina isolated herself once more from both of them.
Team synchronization went down. Daisuke and Koharu-sensei picked up but with the situation so delicate, the team decided to temporarily split from missions together. Once Yukina came to grips with the situation and accepted her fate, she approached Hitosuke regarding the whole situation. The two could never be together, which broke the young man's heart.
Later that evening he'd gone out for sake with Daisuke and Koharu-sensei. The men of the team tried to cheer up their friend/teammate. Daisuke chirped in with the suggestion of trying to hook him up with another girl, which earned him a disapproving look from Koharu-sensei. In the end, they ended up taking a drunken Hitosuke home. With time, he had an unusual dream...you could say something within him supressed his feelings and he appeared to accept everything. Though he did tell YUkina that he'd always be there for her. The repair process was slow but eventually the team came back together.
Hyuuga Yukina and Hyuuga Joushiro were eventually married. Their place confirmed in Hyuuga and everything went according to the family plan. However Hitosuke whom still deeply loved Yukina wanted to make a dent in that plan, despite the circumstances. He had already formulated his plan to win back his love, once and for all. Whatever consequences may be, it would start when the two did their first mission together away from their team.
It had been awhile since the two got away like this. With a slight bit of tension still felt, the two mostly did things with the rest of their team. The mission would take place in the Land of Water, it was to retrieve a prized weapon and bring it back to the Hokage. The mission itself wasn't too dangerous on paper but they were lead through quite the loop, travelling from one village to the next. They also encountered several missing mist ninja to which they slained and brought to the village by establishing a connection in the capital. Once the weapon was obtained, they took three days to rest before setting out back to Leaf.
During these days, the two would reminiss about the past. At first they only talked about simple memorie such as their introduction to each other, or the exploits that Daisuke got himself into. By the third day, they felt comfortable talking about their former relationship. They were caught up in those sweet memories and their isolation caused them to touch upon forgotten memories. It was this oppertunity that Hitosuke used to engage in a passionate night with the married Hyuuga. It was wrong, they both should have known better and upon their return, Yukina made Hitosuke swear to silence regarding what had occured.
After that, their relations broke down entirely and soon Team Kohaku did as well. It had been nine months since then and it seemed the team had made their peace.
"The fate of Twins"
Hyuuga Yukina was pregnant and expecting to deliver in a few short days. With Hitosuke out of the scene, Yukina forced herself to believe the child she carried was Joushiro's. While Hitosuke stayed on the sidelines, he truly believed differently but could not express any of it due to his vow of silence. So on January 27th, Hyuuga Yukina and Hyuuga Joushiro were the proud parents of twins. At least...they would have been proud, except certain circumstances had arisen. Twins were ill-fated amongst Hyuuga. Both could not be part of the main branch. They had to choose which one of them would ultimately become the branch member.
After naming the twins, they would wait three years before the decision became official. The youngest twin was Hyuuga Hinagiku. The oldest twin was Hyuuga Tetsuko. Since Tetsuko was the oldest of the two, only by half a minute, she would become the main branch member. When the twins both turned four, the mark was branded onto Hinagiku. She didn't seem to mind much after the initial pain. For some time, the relationship the two had would remain stable. They were twins who got along well and it was a happy family until the age of eight.
When the twins were eight there was more active pressure for the twins to grow and assume their proper roles within the clan. Tetsuko was starting to spend more time with other main family children and Hinagiku was to spend time with branch family members. Most of the time she was with her grandmother Kohana. Kohana was disappointed that Hinagiku was a branch child. Her foresight told her she would become quite strong, she could feel an unusual power within the girl. It was a power that was picked up on by one other person, Nara-Yamanaka Hitosuke.
With both of the twins now within the Academy, he took an interest in Hinagiku. He could feel that same power, a power which he felt was much like his own. The ability to understand family's and specialized jutsu.
"That fateful night..."
For years Hitosuke had schemed a plan to recapture his...children. They say love can drive you to do crazy things and it seemed Hitosuke was driven to the very edge. His plan was first set into motion one year prior to the night in question. He had brainwashed Hinagiku to become very upset with the main branch, with help from friends of a more radical branch family group. This was kept very, very quiet as they'd assisted many branch families and children out of Konoha and to the safety of other shinobi villages entirely.
Their goal was to one day achieve a jutsu that would allow freedom from the branch
family curse, even if it meant the destruction of Hyuuga. Hinagiku's disappearance or rather death was the result of Hitosuke's plan.
Supposedly there was a traitor within Konoha who had been working with Kumogakure. It was no secret that Cloud wanted to have the precious Byakugan under their wing. However they were after Tetsuko not Hinagiku.
This time, on this night...they were aiming big. There was no way the Hyuuga would loose a main family child, quickly many Hyuuga particularly branch Hyuuga were sent out to retrieve the child. It was considered an S-rank mission with the Hokage's quick approval. Away they went to Cloud, yet members of that squadron were indeed from the radical branch family. Knowing full well that Hinagiku was in fact being taken to Mist and that Tetsuko would easily be returned. They chased after Tetsuko's captors and they were successful.
Upon returning with Tetsuko safe, Joushiro would be in for quite a shock. Hinagiku was also captured and eliminated. Having to deal with the disappointing loss, the family held a funeral for Hinagiku. Yet for Tetsuko, because she was a twin...she couldn't accept her sister's death. Perhaps she could find her someday.
Academy Years: Take 2
As part of the kidnapping Hinagiku lost her memories and life was started a new for her. She finished off the academy in mist, her "father" Hitosuke who now went by the name Hibari Takuya had trained her diligently each day. She was told about her sister and knew of the plan to reunite the family. To do this, they would have to retrieve her from the family that kidnapped her in Leaf. According to her father, their mother had died sometime ago.
During her time in the academy, she befriended a young man named Minamoto no Yorimoto. He was always seen performing "magic" tricks, simple feint of hand techniques. These tricks of his always amused Hinagiku and whenever she spotted him, she approached him in order to see his latest tricks.
As if by faith, one day Minamoto and Hinagiku were sitting together in class. Having always been a fan of his tricks, she smiled at him only to be greeted by one of his grunts. Despite her warm and friendly greeting, Minamoto continued to ignore her. Continuing to pursue some form of conversation with him, he eventually questioned her. “Why do you want to speak to me so badly?” He asked. Hinagiku had a simple response for him; "I couldn’t stand seeing someone trapped by themselves. Quickly he retorted with “Can you save some one with no soul?” Then he would grumble hoping Hinagiku wouldn't bother to respond. Naturally Hinagiku would respond back "Then I shall give you a piece of my soul so that you can find yours, once you have done that then you can give me a piece of yours as compensation." She'd said it with such confidence, yet it was also quite sincere. From that moment onwards, they would become friends.
As time passed, the two would eventually graduate from the academy. Hinagiku with her intelligence graduated with top grades and to reward her, Takuya had taught her his family signature technique: Kagemane no jutsu. He also promised to teach her about his mother's family techniques very soon.
Once she graduated by thirteen, her father had to slowly guide her through the discovery of her bloodlimit; Byakugan. He had fabricated a different tale that would explain how she got her special eyes and why he wanted her to continue wearing her contacts. Byakugan was an emergecny technique only, she was to rely on other techniques. Yet as she trained, certain things came back to her such as the various Jyuuken stances. It was as if her body was helping her to remember certain things that were blocked out.
With Minamoto's disappearance after graduation, Hinagiku was placed onto a genin team she wasn't familiar with. Team 4, which was an all girl team lead by her father. For this mission, they didn't need their jounin instructor present, it was just a simple patrol to check in with Kuroi Akumu; a famous clan within Mizu no Kuni. As Hinagiku approached she was suddenly attacked by a group from Kuroi Akumu. Utilizing Byakugan as it was an emergency she could see the men but couldn’t move fast enough to evade. No sooner did they move from their shadow into hers. With their weapons in hand, they began to get closer and closer and closer until… Minamoto stopped it. Having utilized the shadows he appeared before Hinagiku for the first time since graduation. He seemed to possess a deadly chakra one that could black out the sun. Her assailants weren't able to see anything except the darkness of Minamoto. Utilizing a swarm of Kikachu, he surrounded his opponents removing all of their chakra in an instant. “Leave…them…be” He stated afterwards.
Now that she knew of where he was, she only wanted to see him again and she would eventually. Yet a tragic event would occur prior to that. On a mission to the Land of Waves, what was a simple mission to deliver a business contract quickly became a gang fight and her two teammates died. As a result Team 4 had been disbanded and the girl simply did missions with her father.
Present:
Now Hinagiku is currently thirty-three, there's a task she needs to do and she's return to Mist.
