Description: Some high ranking aristocrats within the capitol wish for a display from some of the more junior members of Amegakure's shinobi caste. As such, the Rokudaime has issued a mission for two aspiring gennin to showcase their talents in front of the gathered nobility in a battle. Of course, no blood need be shed, nor life wasted.But, the nobles are fully expecting a ferocious encounter!
Objective: Take part in a "friendly" spar for the nobles in rain's capitol!
Reward: 1500 Ryo

Our entrance into the capital would be a swift one, showing the guards the mission scroll they would offer no resistance as we entered, and would actually guide us to where we needed be. I admired the city in all it's glory, for this had been the first time truly visiting the capital. The buildings were elegant, and the civilians were as lively as ever. They took little notice to us and continued with their daily lives, surely they had more important things to do.

Trekking closely behind our escort, Kininata and I would arrive at our destined location. It wasn't a grand battle arena or anything of the sort; it was a simple battleground, large enough for us to fight comfortably without worrying about space. The nobles were all dressed in robes that glistened an elegant ivory color. They took seats on the perimeters of the battle ground, and upon catching sight of us would begin to clap. When the applause died down I would begin to move, taking up my position and directing Kininata opposite of me.

"You take position over there.", I directed to my partner as I took up position.

He saw many faces as he entered the hall that was to be the battleground of their friendly spar; many he had never seen before, some sparked a passing memory of brief recollection from his days as Amekage, but none were truly familiar to him. IT had been over a year since he had been to the capital, but he had expected at least one or two faces he saw to be ones he had encountered in his earlier days - to not see them drew forth curiosity and concern, for they were not simple lordlings like most here seemed to be. I'll have to look into this once the mission is over. He withdrew his attention from the crowd, and glanced at his team mate.

'You take position over there.' He said to Kininata, and while the initial feeling of his tone was that of authority - one he did not feel was needed - he moved to where he was directed to. During the slow walk, his hands shifted through the hidden places through his haori and jacket, loosening the kunai, shuriken and Windmill shuriken he carried - enough to be drawn easily, not so much as to fall out haphazardly. Spar or not, there was something in the atmosphere that brought out his "other" self partially, so now his mind needed to fight on two fronts rather than one. He started to gather his Chakra, storing it to prepare for the first move, then turned to his partner.

'I'm ready.' He slipped into the Iaijutsu stance, bringing his focus onto the environment, to his opponent, the moisture in the air, the distances, the slight sounds of the wind moving into the chamber... his mind was prepared, focused. Lets see if I've gotten rusty over the last year or not.

Casual steps led to to where I had deemed would be my position for this bout. The thought of doing battle again had intrigued me, and the fact that I would be joined by a former Kage had made it even more exciting, even if this was more of a show than an actual battle. Even so, there was still much to learn from such a legendary figure, and all the doors within my mind was open, more so than my eyes were. My figure graciously turned around, seeking to catch a glance of Kininata and how he had prepared to begin the bout.

I was shocked to see him lower himself into a stance that I was rather familiar with - the Iaijutsu, another form of the Kenjutsu style in which I studied. I, however, had studied in the arts of Battojutsu, which was more directly related to quick striking and dealing damage, while the opposite focused on dodging and countering. It was then when I thought of turning this battle into a Taijutsu clash, facing the two arts in a head on confrontation to see which would prevail, but the thought was quickly dismissed, for there were a number of different ways to entertain these people.

To be honest, I could've simply whipped out my Yatake set and drawn many a creatures to life. Seeing creatures of ink, proportionate to their true sizes, would surely amuse the nobility; or mayhap(s) I would simply stick to the plan of making my Ninjutsu fancy. Judging by Kininata's move of entering the Iaijutsu stance, it could be assumed that he planned to start the battle off by using Taijutsu, which wasn't my exact strong point (although I knew enough of the art to defend myself if the time ever arose).

It seemed the first move would be mine, and I would begin the battle with a simple technique that I would find useful further into the future. I flew through the hand seals, and in the procedure my tenketsu were unlocked; the chakra coursing through my body caressed my insides, but would soon be the fuel to bringing to life five fire sparrows around me. With the point of my left index finger, the five sparrows would fly forward toward the former Amekage. Of course, such a low level technique would do nothing damage wise, but Intel was everywhere.

Fire Sparrow

Effect: Creates swallows out of fire.

Drawback: weak; will fizzle out after one post.
Description: The user forms handsigns and begins to heat the air around them in five concentrated spots. If heated high enough, the air will begin to burn in the shape of a sparrow. They will appear in a half of a second once this technique is mastered. Once formed, the user can send them towards their opponent with the point of a finger and a boost of chakra. The projectiles fly in a straight line, allowing for minimal control in direction while in flight. All though made from fire, they cannot do much damage beyond a burn since they lack substance and intensity of other fire jutsu.

Katon techniques? This will be alot more interesting than I thought. A wide grin emerged on his face as he saw the small fiery birds forming in front of him. While he could use the equvilant water Jutsu to counter them, he let his mind run through the variety of ways to begin entertaining his hosts. His mind grabbed one technique from his mind, and instantly thought on how to make it more interesting... especially for himself.

He leaped backwards with a slight release of his Chakra, gathering two additional pools of energy - one within his Katana that he now gripped, and the other in the moisture of the air in front of him. He drew the sword, timing requiring to be perfect. He had done this before for a show at a village he had saved once while he had travelled, but trying to perform this now under fighting-style conditions was a test of his skill.

He pulled the sword back behind him, and let the Chakra he had been gathering around him swirl into place; to the eyes of all the onlookers a vertical vortex of water would form, wrapping strings of rushing water around the katana like a barrier. At the moment the fire sparrows released, Kininata charged at them, building his momentum. I can do this. He took ten steps, and thrust the sword forwards with all his might. 'Mizukensattou!' He released both the Chakra in the sword and the Chakra binding the water simultaneously, sending an explosive forced of energy and water into all five fire birds, extinguishing them in an instant. And now, to make a counter.

He flipped his katana into the air, and started forming four hand seals, gathering his Chakra fast enough so that he could catch his blade once they were complete. As the fourth seal was formed, the head of a beast made from water formed from behind Kininata straight above his head by a few inches... a second extending towards his left... a third to his right... and two more after that, each one taking the gap in between. His sword was grasped a moment after the last head took shape. 'Suiton: Misukedamono Gotama no Jutsu!' He clasped his hands together, sword aimed to the ground, and aimed for his first shot. The head to his left moved to take position in front of him, and a ball of water came forth from its mouth - removing the head from existence as it did. The next head lined up and the same repeated for each on until all five of the watery figures had been converted into explosive balls of water. As the balls went for their target, he returned to the Iaijutsu stance in preparation for the response from his "opponent" - he was starting to enjoy himself.

Drawback: Leaves back exposed, if the enemy can get to it that is. Heavy on chakra usage. Can only be used 5 times a day
Description: The user gathers chakra into their bladed weapon of choice and then dashes forward for about 5-10 meters with the blade pointed outward. The chakra is released in a burst that flies outward from the blade in a cone shape. Aside from the impact of the blade, the chakra involved causes the enemy to be knocked backward, breaking through most defenses. Even if the strike is blocked, the force of the chakra will usually push an opponent back, leaving them open.
Limit: Must have a bladed weapon equipped.

Suiton: Misukedamono Gotama no Jutsu [Mythical Leviathan Waterball Technique]

Effect: User spits out five small water balls from thier mouth at the target

Drawback: Can be dodged, must spit each water ball in successtion
Description: User does said handseals and forms chakra within thier mouth. The user then spits out a small water ball that will break on contact with anything. The ball does not explode, it simply bursts, causing C rank force damage rather then anything else upon contact. The user, continues to spit out four more small waterballs, creating five in total in the end. The user must spit out each one individually, rather then all at once.
Limit: Water Release, Teppodama.

"Brilliant!", I thought to myself as I watched Kininata's impressive display over his abilities. My eyes studied his figure as he went through the movements, beginning from his leap backward, until he launched the five water balls toward my figure.

Unlike him, however, manipulating the Katon release ( as opposed to his suiton) upon my katana may have had some disastrous effects and besides, most of the time water triumphed over the mighty flame anyhow. In all honesty, I could have burnt the orbs of suiton to a steamy crisp with a grand fireball, but I decided against it, if only for the safety of the nobles watching the bout'. If we weren't responsible for their lives, perhaps I would've completed such a maneuver, but then again - nowhere in the mission statement did it state that none of the spectators could get harmed; hmmm.

Regardless of the inner turmoils going through my head at the time, my feet would move gracefully to the side, dodging the first ball as it came my way. Following suit, I danced like a butterfly as I dodged the remaining four, and on my last would I take a couple of causal steps backward, increasing the distance between me and my opponent by about twenty one or so meters, give or take a few. With such a comfortable distance between us, my hands would reach toward my backside, where I would remove a painting scroll from my back, as well as grab my paintbrush and ink from my left side.

With a simple flick of my wrist, the scroll would unravel a total of five feet, which would be all that I needed during this playful bout, hopefully. I dipped my brush into the ink which I'd purchased no too long ago, perhaps a day or two ago, and begin drawing upon the paper parchment. Due to my practice over the years, the pictures that I drew were done in seconds, with extraordinary detail; on my canvas, there rested a family of three tigers, a mother, father, and daughter. Soaring in the skies were two birds, particularly black ravens, a small family of their own.

This had been a trademark picture found in one of my childhood books. It symbolized peace and justice, and only if I had more time would I tell the great story in all its beauty. hand seals would be formed upon completion of the scene, and rising forth from the scroll my three tigers (medium-sized) would rise from their prison in plain sight, while the two ravens would use the tigers as a shield for their existence, soaring low to the ground away from Kininata and waiting until an additional ten meters had been added before taking to the sky. The three tigers would spread out, five feet apart sort of like this; with each [-] representing a foot, and T for tiger, and K (you figure it out):

Throughout all this, besides the drawing, which passed like light, my eyes would remain upon my opponent, observing, waiting.

Ninpou: Choju Giga
Rank: “C”, “B”, “A” Ranks
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to bring to life and control a set amount of drawings or paintings.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: The objects are made out of ink, and thus very weak. Most “D” rank attacks have the ability to completely destroy the ink creations, no matter of their own size.
Description: The user will rapidly draw several objects, usually animals, on a scroll. Then, performing the right handseals, the user will bring those objects to life and use them for offensive purposes. The monsters, made of ink, also share any special properties that the ink has.

“C” Rank- Allows for a maximum of ten small creatures at once or five medium sized creatures. This ability may be re-trained in order to increase the number of small creatures by two and the number of medium creatures by one each time this is learned. After the initial time learning this technique and four additional trainings, the user is required to perform “B” ranked training to learn more.

“B” Rank- Allows for a maximum of twenty small creatures at once or ten medium sized creatures at once, or one large sized creature at once. This ability may be retrained in order to increase the number of small creatures created at once by three, medium creatures by two, and large creatures by one. After the initial learning of the “B” Rank, it must be re-learned a total of four times before the “A” rank may be learned.

“A” Rank- Allows for a maximum of thirty five small creatures at once, or twenty medium sized creatures, or five large sized creatures at once, or one gargantuan sized creature. May be re-trained any number of times to increase the number of small creatures by five, medium creatures by three, large creatures by two, and gargantuan creatures by one.

Limit: Must know Gahou Tenrai

Kininata kept his calm, resolute outlook at the ink creations formed before him, but inside he was quite surprised. He had heard of this style of ninjutsu, but this was his first encounter with it in a battle as such. The black and white creatures starting taking positions in front of him, acting as both a line of defense and a team for attack - Kininata's smile disappeared from his face. He wanted to be able to relax, and to enjoy the spar, but this was a chance to learn about this ink-painting style of ninjutsu, and that required him to focus. First thing's first - lets even the numbers up. He slid off his haori, and crouched down a little for momentum. With a mass of force and speed, and flung the blue coat into the air and simultaneously started to form several hand seals, gathering a point of Chakra at where the pinnacle of the haori's flight would be. He unleashed the Chakra, and moved straight into the next Jutsu for his plan.

As he formed the hand seals to follow, five spheroids of water formed around the flying haori, and tendrils reached out to it. As the tendrils pulled back, objects were drawn from it, until eventually the haori itself was pulled into one of them. The five fell, forming and shaping into humanoid shapes... then color emerged over them. As their hands took shape, they each grasped the tools they had taken from the haori; two of them wielding a kunai in each hand; two of them wielding six shurikens, three to a hand; the last one wielding a folded Windmill Shuirken in one hand and the near-depleted haori in the other, passing it back to its creator. During that time, Kininata released another surge of Chakra, larger than the first, to which the eyes of all within the area would see - droplets of water from the moisture in the air, and the water techniques he had already used, started to gather into pebble-sized drops, and rose into the air hovering almost twenty meters above the two fighters. The water beneath it had now gone, save for the five water clones now wielding weapons from the haori. Once the water had reached its hovering point, Kininata took back his haori and slipped it on while the clones took their positions; the clones with shurikens flanking to both his left and right; the kunai taking point, and the windmill shuriken at Kininata's side.

Kininata started to gather more Chakra within his body, maintaining his Iaijutsu stance, watching what his opponent would now do seeing his response to the painted creatures coming onto the field. Now both knew they were creature-summoners to a degree, the fight would begin to get more interesting - battles between individuals was quick and simple; battles against "squads" was a test of strategy and tactics... and for Kininata, this was where his specialization of skill came into its own.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu [Water Clone]

Effect: Creates 1-5 clones of water
Special: "Hand Seals" - Serpent, Bird, Rabbit
Drawback: None
Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited; however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.
Limit: must be near a water source.

Ochiru Ame no Jutsu [Falling Rain Technique]
Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect:"A" - Ninja uses chakra to throw water either summoned through a Kuchiyose techniques or water randomly lying around into the air and is suspended there for a few turns, dependant on how much chakra they use. More water is able to be thrown into the air for less chakra and suspended into the air for less chakra. The use of the rat hand sign can cause the technique to repeat itself for less chakra. Repeated technique flies higher into the air and falls down slower once the water is unsuspended. At this point, Ninja no longer needs to have a water source for this technique. Water will fall from the air and follow the same rules as the aforementioned levels of the technique. Very small amount of chakra is necessary for the continued rainfall.
Special: Dragon Horse Ram
Drawback: Nothing besides continuous Chakra drain.
Limit: Anybody with advanced chakra control could learn this.

Ahh, how interesting. Like I had, Kininata had taken up the urge to summon his own little minions onto the field, most likely as a counter to my move, but instead of creatures he created water clones of himself. My tigers stood position as all this happened, and my two aerial assailants had already made they way swiftly around the little battlefield, now soaring about 20 meters behind Kininata and his miniature army. They made no noise as they circled the area, and considering he had no reactions to the creation of the ravens, I concluded that he wasn't aware of their existence, which would come in handy some time later.

Placing my scroll and brush to the side for a moment, my two fingers would come together in a grand series of cartwheels and flips, weaving in and out of one another as they form hand seals for my next technique. The speed at which I performed these hand seals was second to none, but even then such a long strand would surely take up a few seconds. No matter, I had my tigers and my ravens to protect me if danger arose, but most likely it wouldn't. Both my hands came to rest upon a certain hand seal - the serpent - and with its formation would chakra be released from my body and Kininata would be in for quite the surprise.

Directly under his feet, a serpent - a snake - would rise from the ground and coil itself around his body, a wide spine-chilling jaw opened right at Kininata's neck, restricting his movement and most likely inducing some type of fear within his head. With him restricted, my ravens would swoop in for the kill. Spl;itting up, one would dive down toward the clone holding the windmill shuriken, and with a sharp beak would precede to pierce through the clones head before taking back to the skies. Likewise, the other clone would take out the shuriken clone to Kininata's left, which would leave KIninata, one shuriken, and the two kunai clones on the field.

With that, and my two ravens safely back in the sky, I would note what the clones would now do, and hopefully Kininata would stay wrapped in my Genjutsu for a while longer, while I thought of a plan. Even if my genjutsu failed, my ravens would still attack the clones and make their way back to the heavens -

all I need was wait.

Magen: Hebi Hyoushi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Snake Binding Technique)

Skill: Genjutsu
Effect: An illusionary snake bursts from underneath the opponent’s feet and quickly coils itself around the opponent before ending with it’s’ mouth open right underneath the neck of the opponent.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The user must hold the Ram handseal for the duration of the jutsu.
Description: The user performs the handseals, ending with holding the Snake handseal. Without warning and sound, an illusionary snake appears underneath the opponent’s feet and rapidly coils around the opponent before ending with its’ open mouth poised right over the opponent has exposed neck. This jutsu is used to prohibit the opponent’s movement and to induce a large amount of fear in the opponent.
Limit: Must know Phantasm Perception

The moment Kininata saw Kamitsuke start making motions with his hands, he started his own; he needed to start making his attack now while he still had the advantage... at least, that was the thought running through his mind. However, as he finished the last Hand Seal, a strange snake emerged from the ground and wrapped him, invoking powerful and real fear within his mind. What the hell!? Where did this thing come from?! Were among the rushing flow of thoughts that entered his chain, cracking his focus...

... however Kamitsuke had not anticipated that Kininata had already become used to Genjutsu used against him - and had a suitable counter for it...

'Gen! Def One!' he managed to blurt out as the fear grew higher and higher. In that moment, the clone beside him wielding the windmill shuriken spun to his front and slammed his hand into Kininata's jaw, breaking his mind from the Genjutsu and releasing his body. The two shuriken-carrying clones also responded - each turned, looking for attacks from the rear, and caught sight of both ravens intercepting. Each of them threw three shurikens each at the targets, anticipating where they would intercept, and moved to the sides to change positions.

The clone wielding the windmill shuriken managed to place the folded weapon in defense, blocking the raven and destroying it in the action. The raven that had aimed for the shuriken clone, however, manged to get through the display of blades, and was destroyed, the raven managing to return to its former position. Kininata, still maintaining his focus on the Chakra within him and the Hand Seal formation, made an internal sigh of relief. Damnit. I hate fighting against Genjutsu. His jaw ached, but the windmill shuriken clone pulled him onto his feet again, and was now keeping his eye on the remaining raven above.

A new set of Hand Seals were now in creation; a larger pool of Chakra being drawn within his body, enough that his opponent would be able to feel it. He had only used this jutsu a few times, but considering that he was now facing a Genjutsu user, the gloves were coming off. From the water held in the sky, a giant sphere started to form, condensing into a perfect sphere just larger that Kininata's body. He knew where all the targets were, and then he unleashed the technique.

Twenty high speed whips, each with piercing tips, shot out from the sphere - four heading towards the raven, twelve heading towards each of the tigers, at four a piece, and the final four heading straight towards Kamitsuke. These whips could turn, coil, and pursue their targets until they reached their limit, or destroyed the targets. As the whips made their darting attacks, the clones followed up: the last shuriken clone would throw additional blades at the raven, increasing the chances of a successful strike; the two kunai clones would charge at the tigers, taking advantage of the dual cover and flanking attacks of the whips. And I was hoping to not have to resort to this level of power.

Suiton: Suiryuuben (Water Element: Water Dragon Whip)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A Powerful technique where the user makes a large spinning ball of water above the user's head. This ball is about the size of the user in diameter. A technique in which the user creates multiple whips from within the ball to stab into the opponent.
Special: "Handseals" - Dragon, Bird, Rat, Ox, Bird, Tiger
Drawback: The user is unable to move while performing this technique.
Description: The user performs the handseals needed as they create a large spinning ball of water above their head. This ball is the size or slightly more of their body in diameter. The Sphere of water hovers some until finally the user then makes the ball of water shoot out multiple stabbing whips towards the opponents. The whips are capable of maneuvering through trees and obstacles in order to hit the opponent. The user however must at least know where the opponents will be in order to have the whips stab into the opponents. This technique is used for whenever the user is being surrounded by multiple opponents. When the user is a "C" Class character they are capable of creating an amount of twenty whips to shoot out into the distance of fifty meters. When the user becomes a "B" Class character they are capable of creating an amount of twenty five whips to shoot out into the distance of fifty five meters. When the user becomes "A" Class the amount of whips increases by five, and the distance increases by five meters. When the user becomes "S" Class the amount of whips increases by five, and the distance increases by another five meters.
Limit: Must know the Water Release, Must have gained Five Hundred Training Points within the Water Release.

Ahh, my opponent was such a strategist. It was true - not once had it ever crossed my countenance that Kininata had a plan for escaping my Genjutsu, and even with intense amounts of fear coarsing through his veins, he still managed to blurt out a statement that would signal to his clones just what exactly had been going on. It was brilliant indeed, but I did have another illusion technique that couldn't be broken by forms of pain, and had to pass naturally unless certain dangers were brought to fruition, but such a technique belonged mo where next to a friendly spar.

On top of that, Kininata had also managed to destroy one of my ebony creations, her water clone destroying it with its folded Windmill Shuriken. A plus side to me however, one of the ravens had managed to complete its job and returned its position to the sky. It soared above and circled the area as it had done before, while we stayed upon the ground. It was then, just when I had began motioning my felines, that I would feel an immense amount of chakra radiating from the area around me, and since Kininata had used only Suiton techniques during this bout, I assumed it was a water technique, a rather strong one at that.

Seeing as how I could feel the chakra, I would need an equally powerful technique to counter such a move, but of what element to use? It was a shaky situation; in a one on one dual, water would simply over some fire, and lighting would more than likely only increase the potency of the water technique (which could be argued), but I would need a technique free of any of those other elements, and I had just the thing.

In only two seconds, my hand seemingly hooked together in an awkward and odd way, birthing a hand seal that only the ancient Uchiha had knowledge of. Focusing my chakra, a red aura would be released from my body, and as the whips flew forward, a giant shield of red would block the whips from even touching my supple flesh, but the same couldn't be said for my ink creation. After that, my body would seemingly disappear from sight, only to reappear behind Kininata and hold a Kunai to his neck. It was a simple technique indeed, one that couldn't be countered and to put an end to this - I would take the victory.

Sike !

Such a technique had yet to exist, so in a last attempt to entertain the nobles, my hands would come together to form the own string of hand seals, and the element of Raiton was focused throughout my body. As the whips rushed forward, I spun upon my heels, releasing electrified chakra as I did so, a bolt of lightning would come crashing down from the sky, directly upon my person. More chakra would be expelled, and the lightning would quickly morph into a dragon - my dragon - and I would launch the behemoth of a beast forward in an attempt to intercept the whips. What would be the outcome - idk - but I hoped for the best.

Description: Rairyuu no Tatsumaki is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Lightning Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a bolt of lightning to drop from the sky. The current will be contained within and around the user's form. They will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon and strike out against his opponent. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.
Limit: Must have the Lightning Release.

Well, I'll be damned. Kininata thought as the saw the whirling lightning beast emerge from Kamitsuke's position, rearing its flickering electrical head towards the four whips incoming towards it. He is a talented one at that. The whips that had been engaging the raven and the tigers pierced their targets and the quickly dissipated, leaving the kunai-armed clones to peel off to the flanks of Kamitsuke, each at around twenty meters or so - enough to avoid the lightning beast that was quickly making it was towards the whips. Now for the end game. The windmill shuriken clone unfolded the weapon, and started his run straight towards Kamitsuke, being lead ahead by the now empty handed fourth clone.

The lightning dragon roared in furious rage as it was pierced by the whips, but its deadly electrical bite shattered all four in an amazing explosion of energy - both techniques were ended by the other, and an audible cheer (perhaps one that had been on the go since the first techniques were sent off on the field) were now creating a roar of glory of its own. The moment the whips were destroyed, Kininata flickered - he had one second been standing still, and the next he was running alongside the windmill clone, his hand extended to the weapon.

A sheath of water formed around the shuriken, creating a think shield to protect it from water techniques... as well as make lightning techniques only enhance its damage potential. Once coated with water, the clone flung the weapon with all its might at Kamitsuke, then joined the other empty handed clone.

The water above was starting to fall slowly, now the technique was ending, and Kininata would make one last chain of Hand Seals - he needed to keep Kamitsuke on the move and limit his chances of counter attacking if he was to prove he was still capable to being a ninja. He paused in his steps as the last seal was made, and then from the air above, a barrage of heavy water orbs would shoot down at Kamitsuke; The two kunai clones, seeing the all-out assault, also charged into the fray, increasing the chances of "striking" the target.

So, as Kininata stood his ground holding the Horse Hand Seal, his two bare-hand clones holding guard in front of him; he watched as the water-shielded Windmill Shuriken flew towards Kamitsuke; watched as the barrage of water came hurtling at him; watched as the two kunai clones closed in on him. Even Kininata would have struggled avoided all three of those attacks...

Description: The after image technique is the technique that allows the user to move side to side with extreme speed and towards a general direction creating an after image of the person. When learning this technique a person may only do Ten after images per day. If one wishes goes more then this number tissue has a chance to rip and tear. To be able to do more then ten per day one they must train for each again to create one more. This is the basis techniques for all techniques that may consist or deal with moves that deal with the After Image. This means that if a user wishes to know a technique that uses an after image they must have knowledge of this technique as well. Depending on how many after images a user uses within a technique is dependent on how many times this technique is known.
Limit: Universal Technique.

Suiton: Mahou Mizu Misairu Renda no Jutsu [Water Release: Magic Water Missile Barrage Technique]

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The ninja focuses their chakra into tiny bits of water, condensing them to form nearly-solid balls while still retaining their liquid properties. The balls levitate in the air, much like in the system involved with the Ochiru Ame no Jutsu. The balls will then fly at the opponent, and depending on the amount of chakra used to throw them, the "Missiles" can easily dent thick metal armor or to knock down wooden doors on metal hinges. When a "missile" strikes an opponent, the chakra holding the water together will release into the atmosphere, causing the water to loose its ball-like shape and revert back into flowing water. Only 10 missiles can be created at a time, but when one is used, another can be instantly recreated for an additional cost in chakra.
Special: Dog, Dragon, Horse, in that order. In order to hold the balls in the air, the horse symbol must be maintained. With additional training in the technique, the shinobi can hold the water missiles without having to hold the horse symbol.
Limit: Must know Ochiru Ame no Jutsu Rank "D"

The greatest creature in all the legends; a creature that knows no bounds, controls the heavens with an iron fist, and gaia with deadly flames, the majestic dragon.

And with that, my ferocious dragon, perfectly crafted through various use of yellows and alabaster blues, soared forth through the air with alarming speed, its mouth opening up to reveal its bone chilling fangs, sharpened and empowered with the power of Raiton. Released from its shackles, the beast would collide with the Suiton whips, however, it would only be powerful enough to cancel out the opposing technique instead of entirely devouring it. The applause of the crowd had finally pierced my ears, and in the excitement Kininata had made his move.

Standing still in one spot, and then running alongside one of his clones the next second, the covering of the giant shuriken in water caught my attention, and it was then I would make my counter. Making handseals of my own - four in total - I would hold the last seal as I ran to my right, effectively moving out of the windmill shuriken's way. Air would be sucked into my lungs similar to a vacuum, and seconds later would it exit, only in a much more destructive manner. From my mouth, a dragon of flame would be released and soar directly in the water clone's path, aiming to destroy them in one sweep. What was it with me and these dragons?

As my dragon flew forth, aiming to turn these water mimics into steam, the water dragon missiles would be forming above me. Since my sight wasn't focused on them, and they made no sound, one could conclude that they would have effectively hit their target, but that conclusion would be (simply put) - wrong. It was like a second sense to me; whilst all my Taijutsu training, I had become more aware of my surroundings and most of the time, as long as my opponent was around the same strength as me I was able to avoid being flanked or 'flat-footed'.

A simple shunshin [1|3] would carry me safely away from the falling missiles and backward ten meters. Safely from the way of the missiles, I would quickly pull three thin, shaded a dirty ivory color, and using my knowledge of the senbon, I would launch them forth with extreme precision and accuracy toward Kininata and the two remaining bare-handed clones. "How will you avoid this?", I thought to myself as I watched my syringes fly forth.

Katon - Ryuuka no Jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)

Effect: The user quickly performs a large creation of blinding fire into the form of a large Dragon form. The Dragon must be used in the same concept as the Goukakyuu no Jutsu in which must be thrown by placing a hand in a circle form over the mouth of the user.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: This type of technique is better used if the opponent is bonded down and unable to be moved.
Description: A Large creation is created as the user performs the necessary handseals for the technique. As the user does so they raise their hand up over their mouth. By taking in a deep, breathe the user fills their lungs with chakra to in, which ignites the moment they blow out air. As the user blows out the creation of fire is made taking the form of a giant dragon like creature. The Dragon is quickly hurled towards the opponent as the dragon swivels and swerves moving like that of a Chinese Dragon. When first learned the Dragon does not explode forth but the very flames oozes out spreading out in all directions that would wrap around the opponent in a blaze of glory. When the user learns the "B" Rank version the user is capable of pushing so much power into the technique to where when it touches the target it is needed it is ignited in a mass blaze of glory, creating a grand explosion.
Limit: Must have the Fire Release

Sanjuu Senbon Tosu (Triple Senbon Throw)

Effect: Throws three senbon at once but very accurately.

Description: The user holds three senbon at once with one hand and throws them very accurately no matter how little set up time for the throw. The user can be very accurate and powerful causing minor injuries.
Limit: Must be of the Senbon Taitoku, Must know the Senbon Taitoku Stance

Odoriko Onchou (Dancers Grace)

Effect: Becoming more aware of their surroundings the user is unable to be caught flat footed or be flanked.

Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: Training to heighten their senses in the heat of combat, the Senbon Taitoku user under goes training to become more prepared then ever. They slowly become aware of their surroundings on the battle field, to the point they become similar with it like their own back yard. With this natural sense of their surroundings the user can't be caught flat footed or be flanked. Which means if the user was walking down the road minding their business, and a ambush party burst out from the bushes. The user wouldn't be caught of guard and would most likely except it, and will sense someone was coming up from behind to attack and will act quickly and either attack first or get out the way. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique can not use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.
Limit: Must be a Senbon Taitoku user

Kininata cursed at himself within his mind as he could see the beginning embers of the fire technique before him. This one he had seen before, and at the moment of realisation he started going over the options. Dealing with the technique is simple enough - but now what? He's pretty much keeping this as a long range fight now, and while I could keep this up, I've burned off more Chakra than he has already at the moment. I don't want to resort to Kouu Bunshin either, leaving me with using that plan instead. Hardly something that I would consider in a real fight, but this isn't one. He blinked, the embers of the fire technique taking their shape as it headed straight towards the kunai clones. His hands flickered with his body [Suigozu 2/3], placing him side-by-side with the kunai clones that were now at risk - and from around him a swirling vortex of water surged towards the incoming dragon of fire; its raging lunge to be met by the graceful form of the water dragon now heading straight at it.

The two colossal techniques slammed into one another, each destroying the other in a magnificent cloud of steam, creating a wall which neither ninja could see the other through - the window was open. During the moments of the cloud, Kininata released the clasp holding his haori in place with his sword, and slung it to one of the kunai-clones - as both had been protected by the water dragon's impact. in return, the clone tossed over its kunai, and the pair switched places. The steam cloud would dissipate and on Kininata's side, the clone who now looked like Kininata had before the impact stood there in the Iaijutsu stance, the two empty-handed clones each next to him as a shield, and the other two "clones" with kunai started moving around to flank his opponent again at right angles from the central three clones.

Kininata saw the flicker of hand movement from Kamitsuke, and watched with a degree of worry about his plan - the three senbon were only momentarily visible before striking at the three "clones". Fortunately, they too had seen them... and the two empty handed "shield clones" intercepted them before they could strike "Kininata", sacrificing themselves. Alright, this guy has some real skill. No more underestimating.

The three Kininata's moved in, each preparing a different style of attack; the sword-wielding figure preparing to strike out with his weapon as he got in range; the right side kunai clone throwing one of his kunai as he charged in to create an opening; the third - the real Kininata - charged in hard, waiting for the opening to be created so that he could use his Shunshin [1/3]to emerge in the opening and capture Kamitsuke. It wasn't a tactic he would normally use considering his other skills at hand, but he needed to close the distance to Taijutsu range now - the longer the fight stayed at range, the more uncertain the result of the battle would be. After eighteen months of training his skills against five clones of equal skill every day, along with his real battle experience, he did not expect Kamitsuke to be able to handle his ability... though he still had an escape plan prepared if if turned out that he was incorrect.

Description: Suiryuudan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target.
Limit: Water Release.

With my vision neutralized by the plume of smoke, it would remain unknown to me as Kininata and the clones traded identities. It didn't matter really, for when the smoke cleared, these sea monkeys would be gone.

The three thin needles escaped my touch with naught but a simple thrust of my wrist. Years of training in their art had allowed the projectiles to fly forth without hindrance from the air for quite a distance, more than enough to meet my adversary and his clones. Upon being intercepted by Kininata's clones, the clones would find themselves morphed back into their original liquid state, for a simple configuration of my hands would cause the three explosive tags [one tag per senbon] to explode within distance of the clones, effectively destroying them, yet only housing enough power to to send Kininata back a few meters.

While he used this time to recover his balance, I would seize the opportunity to capture the Suiton summoner.

An elegant dance of Zodiac would fill the arena before w bottle of ink was grabbed from my side, and using my chakra, the ink would become a sticky, adhesive substance. A surge of chakra would caress my figure as a disappeared once again [2|3] and appeared ten meters closer Kininata. Around this time, the summoner should have been just recovering from the force of the blow and hopefully would find a wad of ink inches away from his body. If the ink hit, his body would be covered with stickiness, and his movements slowed.

Thankfully, this bottle had been of the large variety and if I missed, I still had plenty of shots left, three or four for an estimate.

Sumi Secchakuzai (Sticky Ink)

Effect: Causes a target amount of ink to become extremely sticky, decreasing the mobility of anything it touches.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: If the user accidentally gets caught within the ink, then they too will become stuck.
Description: Performing the right handseals gathers a chakra that enters a pre-selected portion of ink. The chakra then enters the ink and, fusing with it, causes it to become very, very sticky, giving it adhesive properties, almost like glue.
Limit: Li Clan Jutsu

The explosion of the tags, destroying the three clones - including the one that was supposed to be him - brought a degree of satisfaction to his mind. He fights almost exactly like I used to years ago, but with a little more finesse. In the charge that he and the remaining clone were making, he changed his plan - his left hand slipped down to the gourd on his back, and the seal was broken just enough, a slight trickle of air releasing; he formed the Hand Seals of the Dragon, the Ox, the Ram and the Rabbit. It was a technique he abhorred, because of his history with it... but he needed to use something that would throw his conceptions about how he could fight off balance just for a moment.

Kamitsuke vanished for an instant, appearing directly ahead of him with a flow of ink heading straight to his face. Kininata gave a noticable, grim smile as he unleashed his Chakra into the technique during Kamitsuke's instant movement. The gourd shuddered, and a stream of steel-blue shot out at speed, creating an outward cone of ice - the frozen water took all of the ink in without a drop of it slipping by, and continued unstopped by the substance; it moved outwards around kamitsuke's side and began to envelop him in a cocoon of ice. From behind him, the last standing clone threw its remaining kunai at Kamitsuke, keeping his focus distracted by multiple objects at once.

With the ice still reaching to enclose his target, Kininata formed the next Hand Seals to use. With Kamitsuke unable to see his movements from the ice, and the crowd still staring at the sudden emergence of a enveloping cone of ice, none would notice the "Mizu Bunshin" he was just about to create. It was a drain on his remaining Chakra reserves, pushing him to just below a third of what his maximum was, but considering that his opponent was showing the signs of being just as capable as he was, he needed to use it.

As the five "Mizu Bunshin" formed, Kininata leaped backwards four times, increasing the distance between Kamitsuke and himself to a good thirty meters, two of the clones following his movements back. The other three spread out ten meters from the frozen prison, in position to make their attempt to capture Kamitsuke. The moment he was visible, they would follow their orders to engage and capture by any means necessary. Now its time to see how you can handle the true style of the Kouu Sennin. Chakra built up inside of him, just a trickle, enough for evading and defending himself.

Hyouton - Hyourou no Jutsu [Ice Prison]

Effect: A technique in where the uses the ice that is down upon the ground and is used to encase an opponent in a pure white like prison.

Doing so they can create a large like sheild of snow that would either be used against an opponent or for themselves as a defensive like fashion to where the technique comes forth to stop from incoming attacks.

Kouu Bunshin No Jutsu [Rainfall Clones Technique]

Effect: Creates up to five water-based clones that, based on Ninja Rank, may “evade” a number of attacks.
Special: Hand Seals - Boar, Rabbit, Serpent, Horse, Dragon, Dragon
Drawback: Cannot use Bunshin Jutsu’s for 10 mins if D Rank, 9 mins if C Rank, 8 mins if B Rank, 7 mins if A Rank, and 6 mins if S Rank.
Description: A more advanced version of the Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, the user gathers enough water to create up to five water clones. They act like normal water clones with one exception - there is a “limited pocket of Chakra” within them that, after being struck and start to break apart, releases and reconstitutes the Bunshin, making it seem as though the clone “broke into rain droplets, fell and remade itself.” As a D-Rank ninja, each clone has a one “reconstitution” pocket, C-Rank has two, B-Rank has three, A-Rank has four, S-Rank has five. The name “Rainfall” was given because when they are struck they break into rain drops falling from where they were.
Limit: Must know the Water Release; Chuunin-level Jutsu; only known by Amekage Kininata Hyouketsu; Can only be learned in Hidden Village of Rain.

"Hyouton", I exclaimed to myself.

The sudden out burst of the Hyouton startled me for naught but a second, and if it hadn't been for the blade at my side, I would've been a sitting duck.

As the ice rushed forward, the bottle of ink within my hand had been dropped between my feet, and almost as quickly as one could blink did cold metal ring out from amongst its ebony prison, the cold, hard blade etching its way into the cocoon of ice that intended to entrap me. With the power of both my eastern (right) and western (left) Gods, the blade would pierce through my "would have been entrapment". The entire cage wouldn't be destroyed however, it would only leave a crack in the front big enough for me to squeeze through, only after a bit of prying, of course. This however, would mean the kunai would be stopped by the frozen cocoon, and it meant nothing now.

I retrieved the bottle as quickly as possible, and would notice that more of the summoner's slaves had been brought into existence. My hands danced to a Ninjutsu tune, and from my bottle of ink did my own slaves arise. One by one, each one resembling my appearance down to the very T. Creating these clones would empty my ink bottle though, and I would launch it toward Kininata in an attempt to startle him. My hands danced amongst one another once more, and a massive fireball of Katon exited my mouth, and headed toward Kininata and his clones.

From here, my clones would spread ten meters from each other, and we would await Kininata's next move. His chakra reserves were running low, and I would pry on that.

Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique)

Effect: The user is capable of performing a few handseals in which gives them the capability of blowing a large body of fire in size of a large sphere that has great fire proportions and explosive capabilities.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending on the Rank, is dependent on how strong or how much the user is capable of doing with the Goukakyuu no Jutsu.
Description: The user quickly performs a few handseals. The user then places the hand over their mouth creating a small like circle. This technique in turn is then to help the user control the great flame. The use then blows out and creates a large fireball that twice the size of a normal human body. When the "C" Rank version is first learned the user is only capable of blowing out the Great Fireball that is cannot be moved or go anywhere else. This also means that the technique does not explode in a fiery explosion, but burns greatly to anyone that is caught within the technique. When the user learns the "B" Rank version then the user is capable blowing the Great Fireball into the distance, sending it away from the use it to hurl towards the very opponent. This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing damage that is even more devastating.
Limit: Must have the Fire Release

Morote-giri (Two Handed Cut)

Effect: A strong (B Rank) strike at an approaching attacker (can be easily struck afterwards)

Drawbacks: Weakened defensive ability shortly after attack is made, allowing for simple attacks to hit with ease.
Description: Commencing from a kneeling position, the practitioner rises and strikes with his sword in both hands, performing a strong attack but weakening his defense due to the time taken for the strike.
Restriction: Must have a Senpai/Sensei of a Kenjutsu Dojo to learn; must have Quick Strike Training (C); cannot learn if mastering Iaijutsu

Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu (Ink Clone Technique)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to create up to five clones of themselves using ink.
Special: “Hand Seals”
Drawback: The Ink clones are incapable of performing any type of special techniques, only taijutsu.
Description: Gathering chakra, the user will then perform the correct handseals. Injecting that chakra into masses of ink, the user is then capable of forming that ink into a perfect likeness of his or herself. The clones, since they are made of ink, retain any special property that the ink has. The initial time that this jutsu is learned allows for the creation of a maximum of five clones- however, each time this technique is re-trained, the number of clones the user is capable of creating increases by five.
Limit: Li Clan Jutsu

the crack in the ice wall was quickly formed and skillfully done, at which point he realised that this was fight was still some distance away from ending, to probably both of their surprise. They had both performed powerful "end move" techniques and tactics now, and were equally countered or evaded with grace, intelligence and diligence. The forming of the ink clones to counter the "mizu bunshin" was a natural play, a move that would have leveled the field under normal circumstances. On seeing the same hand seals as before for his kouton technique, Kininata and his clones reacted - they all spread out enough to evade the oncoming fireball, and Kininata formed a quick, simple Tiger seal. The fireball would just miss the clones, and before the eyes of Kamitsuke, Kininata would burst into the air, followed by a cloud of dust - the ball of fire slowing only slightly from the burst before proceeding underneath and past him harmlessly.

From above, Kininata saw the spread of the ink clones, realising that by the time he landed, there would be a one-to-one situation. In truth, it didn't really concern him at the moment, as surprise was still on his side for the moment... and only for a moment. On the way down, Kininata formed a set of Hand Seals that Kamitsuke should recognise, creating a brief distraction from his five clones charging in to take down the clones of his opponent - five dragon-like heads emerged from around Kininata and proceeded to fire a single blast of water each towards the skillful ninja, keeping him at bay while the Rainfall Clones would use the advantage of their ability to reconstitute to gain the upper hand against them and destroy them - after all, besides his now dead brother, no other ninja in the world had come across the Rainfall Clone technique; a debut against a true enemy would have been preferable, but one to entertain and amaze the audience and his comrade alike would suffice.

This move, however, was not going to end it; the Chakra of both ninjas were going to start becoming run down soon, leaving more powerful techniques unusable. It was close coming to the point of skillful control of lesser techniques and experience. His feet touched the ground, Chakra built up within his body, a simple plan prepared. He had a few tricks left up his sleeve, enough that he should be able to get past the ninja's defenses to win the spar... if he could keep the advantage. So, he started to walk forwards towards Kamitsuke, noticing in the distance as his last true mizu bunshin clone retrieved his katana and his haori with his eyes keeping their main attention on the ink-using ninja.

Kaze ashi no jutsu [Wind foot technique]

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user becomes faster due to the fact he has wind behind his movements which pushes his body harder. It will boost your speed to that of the rank above you. I.e D to C to B to A as you progress through your ranks, keeping you above the average speed for your rank. This will push you 10 to 15 metres in general but you can end the flow of wind when you choose.
Special: "Hand Seal" - Tiger
Drawback: The user leaves a gust of wind behind him this can be used to track your movements. It also doesn't leave an after image.
Description: The user’s molds chakra round his limbs so that when he places a foot on the ground and pushes off, the wind chakra sends him further forward, faster in one Continues motion.
Limit: Wind Release.

Effortlessly, the enemy would dodge my creation from hell, him and all his minions, but he had created an opening for himself in lifting from gaia.

His clones rushed in, which would escape my visage for the time being, for I had other concerns at the moment. I watched the hand seals he performed and oddly, they were rather familiar. As the water head filled above him, the technique became recognizable and I immediately prepared myself to dodge them each. Skillful where the landing point for Kininata was assumed to be. I would stop however, and allow for him to walk closer and closer. Taijutsu wasn't my strong point, but with a secret only known by my brother and myself, the odds would be more even.

Although unknown to me at the time, Kininata's clones had successfully killed my ink creations and they simply lie in a puddle of their own ebony darkened "blood", per say; although, I was quite confident that they had managed to destroy at least one of their water-based foes.

I would remove three senbon from my side, and with a thrust of my wrist would I unleash one of them toward Kininata's right shoulder with extreme accuracy and devastating speed, more-so that on my last attempt. These needles were "normal", meaning they weren't wrapped in any explosive tags like last time.

Kininata caught a glimpse of his clones finishing the last of the ink clones, hearing the sounds of two of them breaking apart before reforming into their water copies of himself. seven to one advantage... now to- his thought stopped as his eyes just barely caught the motion of Kamitsuke throwing a senbon. He was far to close to evade it, but he did his best to minimise the impact - the needle shot into his shoulder, half an inch above the muscle; had it been that much lower, his right arm might have been rendered partially useless. Fortunately, while it still hurt, the injury was simply to his skin and bone, nothing he had not handled before. Well, I guess its time for the rain to fall.

He raised his left hand, his forefinger, middle finger and ring finger fully extended, then dropped his arm in a swinging motion. Three of the clones moved to his left, the other two to his right. Suddenly, perhaps something that Kamitsuke was not expecting, the three clones that moved to his left began forming Hand Seals. Behind each of them, the familiar heads of dragons formed, and within moments, fifteen balls of water began their assault on Kamitsuke's position - the greatest surprise that would be to him being that they did not vanish after using the technique, but simply shimmered for a moment.

The other two clones started to move in, using the full knowledge of Goken from their creator in an attempt to keep their target off balance and on the defensive. During their run in, the last of the standard water clones reached Kininata, passing over his haori and katana. Once done, Kininata slipped on the overcoat, strapped the sword in place, and entered the Iaijutsu stance. The pair then started moving forwards, joined by the three clones which had just used the ninjutsu, with the simple water clone prepared to act as a shield should it need be.

The plan now was simple; even with his evasion skills, body teleportation techniques, and skill with taijutsu, four was extremely difficult to face against for Kamitsuke in close combat... and when two of those clones could still rebuild themselves and strike at least once during the oncoming flurry of battle - during the guard of his opponent being elsewhere - even someone with the experience and ability of Kininata would fail; after all, one cannot look in three directions at once, not every second. Kininata had tested this over and over again ever since he had created this Jutsu; he had honed his reflexes and senses to face multiple opponents using Mizu Bunshin, but facing Kouu Bunshin was something that he could not win against. Kamitsuke showed excellent skill with ranged tactics, but he somehow doubted that he would be able to handle five Kouu Bunshin, a Mizu Bunshin, and Kininata all at the same time - especially since almost all of them could use Suiton against him in these close quarters.

Lord Shisio sat, his mouth slightly salivating as the two tremendous warriors of Amegakure battled it out. Oh yes, these shinobi had impressed, and many other lords gathered. Surely they would now see that shinobi were the newest, most advanced form of weapon in the world! Samurai were obsolete and things of the path. Treachery and stealth now held the upper hand over honour and skill. However, the day had been long and now the sun's auric rays turned sanquine as it descended to the horizon. It was now time to end this demonstration and attend the banquet he had prepared. Clapping his hands together loudly lord Shishio would smile broadly as he spread his arms wide in a magnanimous gesture.

"Ah my fine warriors! Cease your struggles! You have both impressed myself and the gathered feudal lords greatly! Your efforts have been greatly appreciated but I now call an end to this friendly spar. You may now return to your village valiant shinobi. As for you my lords, there is a banquet in your honour at my estate!"

And with that the multitude of gathered people would assemble to leave in a flurry; It was well known lord Shisio threw the best banquets in Amegakure...

My senbon would dig deep within Kininata's arm, and it would be then that I would begin my offensive, or would have if the lord of the nobles hadn't stepped in and ended our bout. You see, none of the attacks Kininata's clones were supposed to do, not one of them would begin, simply because the destruction of my ink clones had spread rather large puddle of ink about the area, of which had already been infused with adhesive properties, meaning none of the five clones would be able to move, unless there was something miscounted for.

It didn't matter now, for the bout had ended and we were to return home. I would bow and thank the lord for his words, and wait for Kininata's response before I began to leave the area.
