Yumetako was not far from the capital city he could see the city walls in the distance. He had heard from his father that the capital city was a great and majestic city. It spiraling stairs reaching high on the mountain side that it was made upon. Many great waterfalls cascaded down the side of the large mountain splashing down into a large lake that the city is over and around. Bridges span over the lake, large pillars underneath them holding a part of the city above the water centered over the lake. The city then goes outwards and forms around the banks of this lake until the lake is surrounded on all sides by buildings. The city was built into section divided by rivers which flowed from the lake and ran through parts of the surrounding city. Each section would be different and Yumetako could not remember all the differences in this city. He knew the elite would live on the water but could not remember much more.
He came to the city gates which were open for traders and travelers at this time. He entered from the south and started to search for a place to send a letter. He had received a letter from his father that was addressed to the Kage. He had read it beforehand because at first he did not know what was on it. It was a mission proposal, it detailed that Yumetako was to be escorted to a hidden Village. Yume knew his father was being overly cautious but it made him feel better. The whole way here he felt like he was being watched. He could never quite shake the feeling and every now and again he would see, just out of the corner of his eyes, shadows trailing him. Were these ninjas? Were they keeping tabs on him? Something in his mind told him that was not the case; he doubted they were even human at times.
Yume was amazed at the amount of people living here, true he has lived on a farm in hiding most his life, but he never imagined so many people all in one place! Traders, travels, singers, groupies, officials, guards, and children all somehow fit in mass quantities in this city. The amount of things going on around him was almost overwhelming. At first Yumetako was a bit disoriented but then he began searching for a way to send a message to the hidden village. He looked around the city for quite sometime before he received any information about contacting ninjas for missions. As it was he had to ask and luckily the people he asked were very kind. They directed him to carrier pigeons that were trained to deliver messages to the hidden village. The bird keeper was kind too and allowed him to tie the message on and then watch the pigeon take off. Yumetako started to wander around the city after that.
At first he was just taking in the sights looking from store to store and thinking that he might need to find a job soon, or at least a way to make some Ryo. For now he is ok though and he figured he would work on it tomorrow. It is bound to be a busy day tomorrow and he wanted to make sure he was ready.
