Chemical and Biological Protected Field/General Hospital

Within the center of Yukigakure, sits a large four floored white building. Sitting upon its roof, a large red cross symbolizing its one and only purpose. Under the red cross, in red letters can be seen the name of this hospital, dedicated to the former Yukikage and thus named "Rokudaime Yukikage General". This building acts as the unofficial center of Yukigakure as it is a place of utmost importance. During times of hardship, it is used as the secondary headquarters. Should any Shinobi, or citizen of Yukigakure be injured, it is here they are taken. A number of medical ninja who act as doctors, nurses and surgeons are ready to deal with any medical problem thrown at them.


Within

As one makes their way through the large hospital doors, they will find themselves within the lobby. White tiles decorate both the walls and the floor beneath their feet. Within the lobby, there sits two large square reception desk. Sitting within each square are four nurses waiting to waiting to answer any question or request.

In the back of lobby are four elevators and two sets of stairs leading both up and down. The hospital consists of five different floors. The basement is where the morgue is located as well as the research labs and hospital showers. All deceased ninja are brought to the morgue on the basement floor to be stored. In the morgue there is also a special section where Snow Ninja may store bodies with permission from the Kage. The 1st floor consists of large rooms where patients may rest and are usually kept for their safety. Half of the 1st floor has been made into a walk in clinic where any medical but not immediate issues are dealt with.

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors are all large rooms for patients to rest and recover. Half of the 2nd and 3rd floor has been reconfigured into multiple rooms used for surgeries and general examination. The 4th floor is mainly for permanent patient housing.


Rules

1. Whenever one enters the hospital they must pay the fee. If a user is unable to pay the fee they must then take on missions for the hospital in which helps the hospital such as being a nurse, doing deliveries, or any other normal missions. If such a person skips out of the hospital fee they will be added into the bingo book and no other hospital shall take them in. Resident snow ninja do NOT have to pay, they are covered by an exclusive health plan, and are treated for free.

2. Only Medical Ninjas may be allowed to train within the hospital. Anyone else will have their training voided.

3. To all medical ninjas: please train only medical ninjutsu here. No WoK or anything else.

[/b] handle this type of pain. So her next destination was none other than the Rokudaime Yukikage Hospital!

Upon coming into the vicinity of the hospital Mai took a few more steps to the front hospital doors, pushing them open and immediately walking through the lobby to the nearest receptionist desk. One of the nurses at the desk looked at her, tilting a head at her to try and figure out herself what was wrong with her it seemed.

”I. . . I need a surgeon, anyone to get rid of this nuisance of a pain within my eyes. . .”

Sure, it sounded odd, but she really was getting a bit irritated with the feeling, and the nurse simply nodded and pointed towards the elevator and right beside it a set of two stairwells. Mai attempted to focus on them but they were a bit foggy, she herself felt fine but her eyes made her feel disoriented and uneasy.

”Simply go up the stairs – well in your case, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, and keep walking until you see a room labeled surgery, it’s the first one you see, it should be to the right of the elevator once you get out. I’ll phone in the doctor saying you’ll be there right now. May you get better, miss.”

Mai nodded and walked towards the elevator the woman pointed too, take it to go upstairs to the 2nd floor and walking off to the right, just as asked. Should her eyes not deceive her, it did say that it was a room made for ‘surgery’! Knocking on the door that was open, she gained the attention of a doctor within it who was on the phone, presumably with that nurse downstairs.

”Ah so you’re the patient. I’m afraid I didn’t catch your name from the nurse, I’m Tomoya, what is your name miss? And from what I’ve heard your eyes are in pain?”

”My name is Sawada Maiko, you can call me Mai though, and yes. My eyes are giving me trouble with seeing things, and I don’t really want. . . Glasses. So please give me whatever surgery there is to help the problem!”

She emphasized with her hands raising up and rubbing both her eyes ferociously, as if trying to have the eyelids themselves open wide enough to have them fall out. The surgeon simply shock his head before laying a hand out towards the bed which she sat on with a groan, with him instructing her to lay out fully on the bed, a few seconds later followed his instructions as he used several instruments to examine her eyes intensely, searching, scanning, seeing just what was wrong.

He must’ve came up with the reason, seeing how he gave a nod and stepped back, gathering a tray of tools right next to the bed. His hand turned a nozzle on a machine on the other side of the bed, pulling from a hook on the side of the machine which held a small mask which was used to fit over the mouth and noise, with him having the mask hover over her mouth.

”I think I see the problem, don’t worry, I’ll have you all fixed up in no time. . . However I don’t think it’d be best to keep you awake if you’re feeling this irritable about your eye, so for now, simply sleep. . .”

She watched as he placed the mask over her face, and was getting to feel a bit dizzy, the sound of gas flowing through the tube that connected the mask to the machine had a rather odd gas flowing through it. But never the less, Mai gave out to the gas and fell into her own pleasant slumber, hopefully awakening with this problem fixed.[/size][/ul]

Seimei no Jutsu (Clean and Pure Technique)

Drawback: The technique is difficult to use on large wounds, requiring greater chakra precision to ensure a properly cleaned wound. Is not effective against poisons unless the technique is administered immediately on the area where the poison was entered, and only works on poisons which are placed upon items, and not poisons that are inhaled. Only removes Poisons D Rank or lower.
Description: As everyone within the medical profession is aware, in order to stimulate proper healing without fear of infection, a wound, before healing, should be properly cleaned. In order to save patients from experiencing a greater amount of pain, a medical genius invented this technique. By channeling chakra through the hands, a clear white light envelops them. Then, channeling this white chakra into the wound, the user removes impurities within the wound, such as dirt and grime. It also works to actively remove bacteria in the area of the wound. Once completed, the wound is clean and ready to heal. This technique, as a side effect, helps reduce the visibility of scarring as a result of injury. One movement for every six inches is required.

Izayoi was very excited to begin her Medical training. She somewhat of a new Medic in Yukigakure, but she was ready to learn. Her Icy blue hues gazed at the large doors but she made no hesitation in entering the large white building. Upon entering the building, Izzy looked amongst the lobby and spotted the elevators and staircases. As she walked by the reception desks, she gave a friendly wave to the nurses that were stationed there. Izzy knew exactly where she was to go. Second floor, the second to last room at the end of the hall on the right. As quick as she entered the hospital, she wasted no time in getting to her destination.

Standing before the door that she was to enter, Izzy knocked lightly. 'Come in, come in!' The voice was clearly heard from within the room. She pushed open the door and entered the room, shutting the door behind her. 'Izayoi Naoyuki?' The woman question. Izzy gave her a nod along with a smile.

"That would be me. I'm here for the Medic training" Izzy's voice was soft, it seemed as though it couldn't be raised any higher than it was. The woman nodded and waved her over. 'Right, now then, I guess we'll begin with one of the most basic techniques that you'll be needing. Seimei no Jutsu. Used to clean wounds so that they may be ready to heal. Understand?' Izzy listened to the woman's words closely, nodding to show she understood.

'Now then, what you have to do is channel your chakra to your hands, once you've done that, the chakra should create a somewhat clear white glow. That's the most tricky part, getting the chakra to channel right; But after you've done that, you must then push the chakra into the patients wound in order to clean it, but remember, practice makes perfect, so get to practicing that chakra channeling'

Izzy's first impression of the woman, she talked...a lot. Then again, she had to in order to explain the technique to Izzy. "Alright" She stated softly, taking a quick look at her hands. To channel her chakra to her hands, and correctly. She nodded to herself and held her hands out in front of her, palms faced down. She had to shut her eyes for a few moments to get a good feel of her chakra running throughout her body. It took minutes to finally get herself to focus on the chakra in her body.

The chakra ran steadily and undisturbed, now all she had to do was get it to her hands. She concentrated more on her hands, thinking that it would be easy to just get the chakra there. It wasn't working so easily as she had planned, but she had managed force the chakra to her hands. Now the problem was getting the right chakra there. 'A white glow...' She thought to herself. Sending so much chakra to her hands was making them feel a little tingly, but she remained focused on keeping her chakra there and trying to get the effect of that little white glow.

After about ten minutes of focusing and pushing chakra to her hands, she began to see a little white glow. It wasn't covering both of her hands, just a little portion, but it was making progress. "I think I'm getting it!" She announced as she pushed more chakra to her hands and watching the faint glow slowly cover her right hand. The woman looked to Izayoi and nodded a bit. Just as her right had was being covered in the white glow, her left hand began to show a faint white glow as well. This brought a smile to her face.

'Now when they're both covered, I'll need to you push that chakra into this'

[/color] The woman stated as she placed what looked like a fake leg in front of Izzy. 'See the fake wound there? I've placed a good amount of bacteria there, it would cause an infection on a real person. Now if you get this right, that chakra on your hands should kill off the bacteria, if not, you'll have to keep trying'[/color]

Izzy nodded and turned her attention back to her hands, the faint glow now covering them both. Her hands tingled slightly, but she was determined to get thsi right, no matter how many times she'd have to retry. Once she felt she was ready, she pressed both of her hands to the leg. Once her hands came into contact witht he so called leg, she began pushing her chakra into the wound that was there. The woman had said if she done it right, the bateria should be killed of. Feeling she was done with the wound, she pulled her hands away and looked at the woman. The woman took a close look at it and merely shook her head. 'You've only killed a little of the bacteria. Try it again.'[/color]

She turned her attention back to her hands. She wasn't about to give up quite yet. This was training after all, failure is expected. She exhaled softly and began to lead her chakra to her hands, hoping to get the same white glow, only this time she was hoping to get the right chakra there. After about ten minutes the faint glow began to consume her hands once more. Seeing this made Izzy smile, she was a step closer to getting the technique right, now all she had to do was kill all of the bacteria in the wound.

Pressing her hands against the wound once more, she pushed her chakra into it slowly. She kept in mind that her goal here was to clean the wound completely, maybe that would help her somewhat. Once she felt she was done, she allowed the woman to analyze what she had done.

'You've done a little better...but just a little. You still need to work on it otherwise you'll be letting people get infected wounds. Again.'

It wasn't long before Izzy was back to training. She entered the building once more and headed to the same location. Her mind was filled with thoughts of what she was going to train today. She knocked on the door twice and waited in silence for a moment. Iza could hear a little movement behind the door before she heard the woman's voice. 'Come on in Izayoi'

Iza was a bit shocked that the woman knew it was her, then again she was told to return at this time. She pushed open the door and waved to the woman, the woman merely gesturing her to walk over. As she walked over, she noticed that the woman had set up something in front of her. It was a few tubes taped to each other, resting over an empty bowl, Iza's eyes followed up the tubes and saw a big pack of blood. She guessed at what she was learning today.

'Blood coagulation. I'm going allow the blood from this pack flow at a steady rate into this bowl as if it was a patient losing blood. Once this blood pack runs out, your patient is dead and you'll have to try again. Now then, what you have to do is focus your chakra to your hands and it should give off a faint white color. You will then press your hands to the wound, in this case, the tubes, and focus your chakra into the blood. Now then, enough talk, get to work.'

Iza nodded and watched as the woman loosened up what seemed to be a ring around the tubes and the blood began to flow slowly. Iza exhaled softly and began to focus her chakra to her hands, her eyes slowly fell to a shut as she focused. As she opened her eyes, she saw the faint white glow; her cue to place her hands to the wound. Her hands were pressed to the end of the tubes, close to the opening and she attempted to push her chakra into the blood.

She thought this technique would be easy, but it turned out to be a pain in the but. Her first attempt was failed, due to the fact that she couldn't get her chakra into the blood. She gave a slight frown and pressed her hands to the tube once again, this time trying a different approach. She began to focus her chakra to her hands, watching closely for the white glow. Upon seeing the glow, she then forced her chakra into the blood, well she tried it again.

Iza had forgotten completely that she was on a time limit for this, well whenever the blood pack would run out, she failed. She glanced up at the pack, it had gone down by one fourth from when it start, all that in the two attempts she had done. She felt she was wasting time, the more blood that ended up into the bowl made her realize she needed to step up her game.

Her mind was set on stopping the blood before it ran out, no matter how much chakra she had to use to stop it. Her third attempt, and her best. The chakra had already been sent to her hands, giving it a slightly tingly feeling but she ignored it and placed her hands to the tubes. This time she wanted some sort of progress, so she forcefully pushed her chakra into the blood. Just thinking and pushing the chakra from her hands to the blood make Iza sweat just a little.

Looking at the tubes, she was surprised to have seen that she made a little progress. There seemed to be some clotting around one of the tubes. It wasn't completely blocking it off, but it slowed down the flow of blood in that specific tube. The progress made her smile a little. Taking another look at the pack, it only had a fourth left of when she started. She didn't think it was flowing that fast, or she was just taking too long in prepping herself for the technique.

Having decided to give it one more try, she pushed some chakra to her hands then quickly placed them upon the tubes, sending her chakra to mix in with the blood. She thought she was doing well because as she watched the blood flow, it was slowing down drastically.

'Times up Izayoi, your patient would now be dead' The woman looked at Iza and laughed softly, giving her an approving nod. 'You did good for your first try, but you still need some practice'

Izzy was somewhat disappointed that she had actually thought she got the technique down when really the blood had just run out. She turned her head to the woman and nodded. "I wanna try again"

'Very well then..give me a moment and I'll add another pack' The woman stated with a smile. It wasn't long before she had indeed set up another pack, once she released the tubes, the blood started flowing once again. It wasn't as fast as before due to the little clot Iza had made, but it was drastically slowed. She inhaled softly and nodded to herself; time to get to work. She immediately began to push what chakra she could to her hands just as she had done before.

Use your chakra to coagulate the blood.. She told herself as she pressed her hands to the tubes. Upon her hands meeting the tubes, she quickly began to push her chakra into the blood, trying to coagulate is as quick as she could, though she honestly didn't know how. Sheer luck, she guessed, but she figured if she focused enough, it would happen. Her hands were beginning to tingle a bit more, she hadn't rested from the last attempt, but she still had chakra to continue, and so she would. After another failed attempt, Iza pulled her hands back and began to push more chakra to her hands. She wasn't going to give up so easily.

Izayoi tried a new approach for her next attempt. Instead of merely placing her hands on the tubes, she actually covered the opening where the blood was coming out. The moment she did so, she instantly pushed her chakra throughout the blood. Normally she'd be freaking out because she was making a mess and there was blood all over her hands, but she wasn't so concerned with it this time. Her main focus was getting the technique right. She could feel it, her chakra mixing with the blood, but she just didn't know if it was coagulating or not. As she pulled her hands away, the blood was still flowing, but not as much as when she started with the new blood pack.

A smile was brought upon her face at her progress. She was getting there.

Kotaro would approach the doors of the Yukigakure Hospital, pushing his dead pirate ice cube along in front of him. It was a sight to behold a boy pushing the massive thing all by himself but the wheels did manage to hold and luckily he didn't have much up hill pushing to do along his way, that said it was still very difficult. The thing wouldn't fit through the already large doors of the building so Kotaro made some blocks of ice to stop the cube from rolling anywhere and ventured into the building alone.

He'd approach the reception and inform them of his 'cargo'. "Greetings, my name is Kotaro Kaishin and in this cube of ice here lies the body of a dead pirate who I think would be a perfect candidate for scientific examination though it'll be quite a while before we can get him out of there" Kotaro chuckled as he shot a glance to the giant chunk of ice.

"So is it okay if I leave him here with you? The Yukikage would have to be informed of this of course. This man was able to seriously wound a Leaf shinobi and caused us quite a lot of problems, his Taijutsu prowess is impressive and deserves to be investigated."

The receptionist giggled as she examined the body.

"Hmm, We'll start examination right away."

The receptionist smiled and shook Kotaro's hand. "Once examination haas finished we will give you payment."

With thus, they slid the body farther into the hospital where they would perform their studies, Kotaro left with only hopes of money

With Ace in her arms she placed him on a nearby stretcher as the receptionist was surprised to see the Yukikage.

"It's an emergency." She stated simply as one of the nurses came running. "He's a snow ninja so he doesn't need to pay."

With thus the Nurses would take him in. Seeing as she didn't need to be here anymore, she parted from the hospital.

Limbs and rips shattered the gambler would be carried into the hospital. His mind drifted away from conciousness yet he could faintly hear people talking. Also during the shifts in climate his body would react yet his eyes would hot open. It felt like Ace was falling downward into a ocean of nothingness. Such a wierd sensation being alive yet not able to react. Now being on a stretcher the nurse would hurry to one of the availuble rooms. Her eyes would briefly look over the new arrival. A face of puzzlement was expressed as she saw the bad shape his limbs were in. Not being able to see the broken born underneth but the harsh bruises gave the girl signals.

Once the nurse brought Ace to room 04 she would gently slide his body onto the hospital bed. Taking off the Paper Knight's formal wear her eyes would widen. All over the boys upper body was very evident bruises. Especially around the ribs and arms. The girl would exit the room to gather more people. It seemed the girl would need some help to properly get the gambler fixed.

After a short while of unconciously waiting the nurse would return. Although this time another young lady was entering with her. Putting on some rubber latex upon their hands getting ready for work. "alrighty Miza you pick out the fragments out of the wounds" the older nurse would instruct the other one to do. Silently the younger girl would look at the gambler's open wounds from the shattered bones. Grabing some tweezers she would gently pick the fragment out of the larcerations. It was a good thing Ace was unconcious.Still she would be carefull to make to only remove the ones that were sticking out and in the muscle fibers. Blood would gently run out of the wounds as the young nurse removed the bone fragments. Once that was completed the older girl would form handseals. An faint green glow would emit from her hands as she gently placed them over a wound. Slowly the bone would begin to repair itself as it was being influenced by the medical chakra surging into it. Minuts would quickly become hours as the process was repeated on Knave of Heart's ribs and arms. A metal tray would quickly become littered with bloody bone fragments as the operation continued.

With the bones reconstructed the upper body was almost completed. The younger nurse did not need to be instructed on what to do next. She would gather up chakra into her hands before they would glow a faint green. She would place it upon the wounds. Each of the open wounds would slowly close up as the skin and muscle regenerated. Like the first part this would take a while as well. Miza woudl remain concentrated as her healing chakra repaired each of the severe wounds carefully. When the duo was done with Ace's upper body they would look at his legs. The fabric of the pants were torn and blood covered it as well. Meaning the snow genin's legs was probably needing the same treatment. Removing the gambler's pants the full extent of the injuries upon the patient's legs woudl be uncovered.

They then focus the chakra into the patient’s body, boosting calcium levels and encouraging the repair of bone breaks or fractures. This technique takes four movements to fix a break and six movements to heal a fracture, minus one for every difficulty rank above D the user holds.
Limit: Must be a medic, must know Shosen no Jutsu.

Shosen no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique)

Effect: The user heals injuries that repairs physical damage.
Special: --
Drawback: certain injuries may be impossible to cure or may take a long time to cure. The amount of chakra used is proportional to the injury required to be healed.
Description: The user gathers chakra into their hands, creating a bright green glow around them. The user then forces the healing chakra into the body of the patient, healing physical damage. This technique requires three movements to heal a minor injury and six movements to heal a major injury, minus one for every rank in this technique above D the user possesses, to a minimum of one. Starting at B rank, the user is able to heal critical injuries with this technique. Healing a critical injury requires sixteen movements, minus one movement for every rank above B the user possesses. Remove one movement from this process for every difficulty rank above D the user possesses.
Limit: Must be a medic, must know Gantai no Jutsu

Ace's upper body was well restored it was time to start on the bottom portion. Removing thier patient's pants their eyes woudl widen slightly. There was two deep larceration that had bone fragments littered in the muscle fabrics. So before they could really do anything they woudl have to remove the small splinters. Both of the nurses would wash two tweezers before getting to work. Painstacking hours would be spent as they gently removed the splinters out of the muscle. It was taking a while but it was the most importent part of the operation. Once that task was completed the older nurse would gather up chakra into her hands. A faint glow would radiate from her limbs fantly as she placed it over the deep larceration upon Ace'shin near his knee caps. Slowly the healing chakra would surge into the limbs as the bones began to reconstruct itself. Hours would spent doing this until the bones in each leg were fully constructed.

Maze would gather chakra into her hands while her elder finished up. When she was able to she would gently place her hands on one of the deep larcerations. Healing chakra would slowly surge into these wounds. While doing so the skin and muscle would begin to regenerate. After a long while of carefully restoring that leg's damage it was time to move to the other one. She would use the same technique on the other leg. Just like the other one the wound would slowly become restored.

After a long operation their job was finally finished. The two nurses would smile to each other before looking at their work. The gambler was still unconcious but his ribs and limbs were restored. Still the two medical professionals was not sure when this brave shinobi would wake up. With nothing else to do one of them would cover Ace's body with a sheet. The faded blond's head would peak out from the covers as his breathing remained calm. The two nurses would exit room 04 satisfied they was able to fix the valiant knight's once broken limbs and shattered ribs.

Slowly the heat from the sun would be felt upon Ace's face. Faintly the snow swallows outside would be able to have their tunes listened to. Lighty blue eyes would slowly reveal themselves as the gambler's mind returned. Staying silent as his optics lingered around the hospital room the snow genin would try to remember what exactly happend. Everything was a blur it seems all that was clear was the agony filled cries of pirates and a loud bang. Then he remembered telling Ina something but the words were not recorded. It must have been importent to use the rest of his energy.Fingers would simply twitch as they awoke from their coma. Even toes would copy the finger's movements as he laid upon the hospital bed. A few tubes filled with water was attached to his body.

The Knave of Hearts would look up at the white tiled ceilling. He was not sure how long he was stuck in the coma. Actually time was frozen in his previous mind fram. All that was remembered was Reddo asking for cloths before he went off to do something. That was ofcourse before the mission a slight smirk would portray upon the gambler's face wondering if whatever the boy's task was it went well for him. Feeling like he wasted enough time Ace was ready to resume serving Yukigakure. Ripping out the tubes too much time was already wasted.

Sitting up before standing up his figure would stand firmly. But sadly after a few moments of standing his balance was slightly off as he stumbled faintly. Sitting back upon the bed's edge light blue eyes would look at his legs. His eyes widened slightly as he noticed 2 huge scares that littered upon his shins near his near caps. Looking at his arms now similer ones would be near his elbows. What exactly happend to his body the valiant knight wondered. Looking up ahead on a counter his pupils would notice his cloths upon a counter. The tears and burnt marks would upon the fabrics would be noticed. Reaching for the cloths he would notice that moving his arm was slighty troublesome. Stretching as far as possible his hand would grasp upon the battle worn clothing. Gently sliding on these cloths his lean figure would slowly become dressed.

It seemed Ace's limbs was not strong enough to move like usual. So as the days passed the nurses would have him go thorugh numerious physical theropy excerises. It was a difficult task but it must be done. Sometimes his limbs would not move in the simplist manner. Those were ofcourse the first two days of the program.

Hands grasped upon rails the gambler would walk. His legs hurt but his determination forced those limbs to work. A couple of nurses was watching over this. Light blue eyes would look onward not giving into the present pain. Although sadly when the Knave of Hearts was so close of making it to the end his legs gave out. As a result his body crumbled to the floor in a nasty manner.

Using his weak arms to attempt to push his body it would remain upont the ground. Taking in a huge inhale it would provide the gambler enought strenght to push his body up. While his body rised a grunt filled of agony would escape his lips. Indeed it felt like his arms were on fire. Now sitting his hands would reach for the railing. It would be used as leverige to pull his vessel up off of the ground.

The nurses would simply help the snow genin out of the room. Still Ace refused their help they still gave him his wooden cane though. Such a cruel reminder to his current disability that he had to grasp onto. Knowing that only time could do the rest the hospital would discharge him. Walking out from the hospital with the wooden cane grasped in his left hand he would limp away. His legs was able to move almost to their original state still it would take a day or two for them to return to their previous glory.

Maria would hobble into to medical center, the masked boy in tow. The pair were both severely battered, and while not required, medical attention would go a long way towards hastening their recovery. The both of them were covered in cuts and burns of varying severity, and Maria's armor was thouroughly scuffed. It was going to be expensive to get it back to its former glossy self.

She dropped the boy in a chair at reception, rather unceremoniously, followed by his precious weapon, as well as her own feng huo lun. "Hold onto these will ya?"

Then to the receptionist counter.

The woman there eyed maria suspiciously, but did not comment.

"The both of us are pretty beat up, and would appreciate some assistance when you can spare someone. Do the kid first, he looks pretty bad, though he still has enough fight in him to get mouthy once in a while."
