Hanabi no Shinka (Fire Flower of Evolution)
Rank: “E” Rank
Skill: Ninjutsu, Offensive, Defensive, Pre-requisite
Effect: Creates a small flower made of flames with six petals that are each six inches long.
Special: “Hand Seals”- Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Rabbit, Tiger, extending the left hand away from the body, then using the thumb, index, and middle fingers in a triangle-like formation.
Drawback: This ability has no real value beyond using it within a combo attack.
Description: This jutsu creates a flower made entirely of flames. The user performs the required hand seals, channeling chakra through the left hand’s thumb, index, and middle fingers. The left hand is then moved away from the body, and the three mentioned fingers form a triangle shape, while the other two fingers close like the user would make a fist. The built chakra then move upwards and out of the hand, sparking to life and creating a flower with six petals that are six inches long each. If the triangle formation is ever broken, then the entire flame disappears. This ability can almost be treated like a fighting style stance. Each use of a Hanabi no Shinka will require a set amount of petals to be used; after the petals have all been used, the ability must be re-performed. Any time that a part of the Hanabi no Shinka has been destroyed, so long as the whole flower is not destroyed, it will slowly regenerate unless it has been used for an attack.

Now for training, Ikazuchi stood alone amongst a small garden featuring a pond decorated with flower petals. His practice with the fire release so far was poor, not a single technique was known by him. Although now he has somewhat of an idea, a basic technique used to perform others off of.

Bringing his hands up from their idle position, both performed the string of seals set in his mind. Chakra flowed within his body, forming throughout the process of the seals into the technique at hand. The raw power and heat of the chakra nature itself could tell you it was fire. With the triangle-like seal formed, the empty space before him suddenly sparked to life, flowing with raw chakra.

Accidentally dropping the triangle-like seal the flower disappeared into the garden with a poof of smoke. He had forgotten, once the last seal was broken, the technique would fail and any other based off of it would as well. Flicking through the seals once more the flower would light up, back to its previous glory.

The flame looked magnificent, flickering in the shape of a flower, something naturally beautiful to be performed using an element like fire just increased the overall beauty. When finished his hand broke it’s stone like form, dispersing the flowering in a puff of smoke which rose slowly.

Hanabi no Shinka: Mi (Fire Flower of Evolution, Seed)

Skill: Ninjutsu, Offensive
Effect: Uses one of the petals of the Hanabi no Shinka to create a small orb of fire in the right hand.
Special: The forward movement of the index finger of the hand holding the Hanabi no Shinka.
Drawback: Uses one of the petals of the Hanabi no Shinka.
Description: The Orb ability of the Fire Flower of Evolution is a simple cantrip. Once the user has the Hanabi no Shinka in play, all the user must do is move the index finger of the left hand forward, and one of the petals of the flower will seemingly fade. The user will then open their right hand, revealing an orb of flame that bursts into life. The orb itself is small, with a diameter of about three inches. The orb itself hovers about two inches from the hand. The user at this point can either attack or continue a combo chain. Each time “E” rank training is performed, the shinobi then gains the ability to create one more orb. However, the ratio is always 1:1 for petals: orbs, so creating additional orbs will still require a petal.

Forming the string of seals for the second time this session, Ikazuchi brought to life the magnificent flower, this time more manipulation would be used to release a petal from the original to be used as an advancement to create an orb. Although not sounding like much, it could be useful if used in the right conditions. Such as oil, as just an example, with a simple touch it would light up engulfing anything the oil clung to.

The idea to continue the technique he had at hand was to simply move ones index finger, pointed at the flower, and move it away to suggest a departure. Shrugging to himself he tried it out. Reaching forth with a finger behind his gloves, he slowly cautioned it away from the flower. Mid-flight the petal faded, like a steam running towards the sky.

The next part involved the transformation of the petal, from its original form into something much bigger and much different in its physical nature as well. The chakra poured towards his right hands palm, swirling up beneath the closed grip. When the last of the petals source was channelled into his palm, his reached out and opened it up. The chakra burst to life creating a small ball of fire levelling itself off in his palm, some unknown force holding its weight.

He was tempted to try a second, to see if he could prepare another while using the original to attack. However his mind wandered to the fact of controlling the source of heat in his palm. Reaching behind his head, he couldn’t help but unleash a strong throw, with the hand containing the ball, as his hand stopped moving forward and rather back down, the ball launched itself from his grasp through the air.

Upon contact the ball exploded rather lightly, nothing great although good fun to watch for Ikazuchi. Though with the disappearance of that ball, he needed another. His hands mimicked the actions from earlier, much like pushing the petal away into non-existence. Though in reality his chakra was flowing from the petal to form a ball in his hand, once again swirling and creating heat.

With a flick of the wrist this time, as if to summon it from his sleeve, the ball burst to life, similar in size to the previous, and just as dangerous looking. Though as he was mentioning earlier, it would be somewhat better if he could create 2 – 3 rather then a single lone ball. However that was for another time, his training were to continue now on a different technique.
