"Yep this is the real training" she said wiping the water off her face pulling a broad sword out of the backpack she had carried with her. "Use the jutsu"

"Dammit" I grumbled performing the hand signs as water just formed around my hand without coming from the water curiously I looked at the water not even seeing the slightest disturbance then seeing a flash I raised my arm deflecting her sword making it lodge into the ground. She then yanked her blade back out of the ground thrusting toward me and I moved my palm in front of the tip of the blade hearing a soft rush of water as the blade was stopped in it's tracks and I focused my chakra on the water extending it down my forearm before pushing the blade away and ducking under her arms catching her off gaurd and pushing her into the water watching the sword sink.

"Not bad Axel but we aren't done" Suin said grabbing her sword lifting it above her head slamming the flat of the blade against the water a huge spray of water raising and making a wall distorted by the light, I flinched backing away from the water then heard the soft crunch of wet dirt and veggitation making me turn around and hold up my arm bracing it with my other arm as the soft sound of a disturbed flow of water sounded and the edge of her blade found itself firmly anchored against the water.

"Aunt Suin I need to stop the jutsu's not going to hold up much longer" I winced feeling the blade start dig into the water. She swung her leg hitting me in the gut throwing me onto the surface of the water making me gasp in pain growling pushing my arm into the water focusing more chakra into the water as my claw stabilized and i pulled it out of the water it's form secure but only able to stay like that for one more blow.

"Bring it small fry" she said lifting her blade with the blade leveled toward me and the handle at her shoulder making me growl at the aggression my chakra making the claw glow a soft blue as I crouched ready to react as she broke into a dash me following suit as we got closer she pulled her arms back ready to thrust and as she did a forced my claw forward hearing the heavy clash as the tip of her blade caught between my fingers as the my claw ripped along the metal tearing it to pieces as the jutsu dispelled I stood face to face with my aunt panting and my claw resting on the guard of the blade the rest of the blade resting on the ground the edges torn.

Description: Simple technique used by channeling chakra to mouth, lungs, ears and eyes. With chakra moved to mouth and lungs the user gathers air from the water and is able breath underwater, chakra guided to ears protects from the aching caused by pressure, lenses of chakra protecting eyes work like swim goggles.
Limit: Anyone can learn it, the techinque doesn’t even need a scroll, smart ninjas should be able to figure out the process on their own.

"I can't believe you wasted all my chakra on one move at least Ayura got 3 moves before I ran out of chakra" I griped at my aunt mad over wasting so much time training on ONE jutsu.

"Oh shut it here are six signs, it's a basic jutsu so you shouldn't lose so much chakra" she said throwing me a simple scroll as I opened it I saw that the small scroll had six large kanji written across it for handseals. "Breathe underwater"

"Whatever" I said memorizing the signs before setting down the scrolland going neck deep into the water withstanding the cold as I performed the seals and stuck my head under the water and opened my eyes seeing that was blurry then took a breath and surfaced quickly gasping and choking, as the water was forced out I slowly calmed knowing i did it wrong then thinking over what Suin had said performs the seals again diving down then coated my lungs esophogus throat and mouth and slowly breathed in through my mouth and was surprised that it worked I was breathing underwater. Next came my eyes so I could see, I worked a thin film of chakra over my eyes pushing the water away so I could open them and see clearly. I saw large schools of fish swimming buy as well as smaller versions of the water snake that had tried to kill me when I had first started training when I looked up I could see the distorted sun and the bubbles and ripples form the waterfall. I could feel my ears start to ache and slowly pushed a film of chakra out of my ears to expel the water and clear my hearing and the faint pain I could also hear the soft roar of the waterfall as if I were above water. I happily started to swim around the bottom of the lake deciding I might as well explore, along the floor I found a few old and broken weapons like a katana a few shuriken couple of kunai and a empty bottle of sake then started swimming up to the surface then suddenly felt water flood my throat and I started swimming fast breaking the surface just in time to cough up the water panting as i swam to the shore.

"Cool this jutsu is awesome" I said laying on the shore then reaching back into my pouch I took out the red orb tossing it to me sister watching her catch it and look over at me."It's a gift"

"Thanks bro" she said holding it up to the light smiling and watching the red light dance through it.

"Heh I'll be back later" I said diving back under the water performing the hand seals again focusing my chakra from my lungs up and out to my lips taking in a breath of the fresh water then focused a film of chakra across my eyes opening them seeing everything even the glittering scales of the aquatic life then finally I pushed a film of chakra our of my ears letting me hear and getting rid of the ache from the pressure. I looked around slowly observing my surroundings seeing how the basin looked, it was a shallow incline to ten feet from the water's edge then a drop off twenty feet drop to a darker part some water serpents dwelled down in the depths of the lake but those being the most dangerous animals around. i quietly dived deeper being sure to not catch any of the snakes attention as I looked around the floor looking for more interesting items, I swam around not finding much then saw a faint gleam and saw a huge snake twice the size of the one that attacked me wrapped around dual pure black blades with the form of katanas without hilts.

"Wow they look amazing..." I said softly knowing they couldn't hear me but also knowing the huge snake could swallow me with one bite so I decided to leave it for now and swim back near the surface and toward the mouth of the river finding kunai with broken rings and handles figuring sis just used them when she was practicing explosive tags. I could feel my time starting to end so i surfaced dispelling jutsu as my head bobbed above the water seeing Hime and Nero sleeping together as Suin and Ayura lied with them relaxing.

The maximum number a user is capable of using is Twenty each. Every time the user gains a new Difficulty Class the Maximum number increases by Ten.

"Hey Axel!" Ayura called throwing me the pale blue scroll as I caught it I noticed it had Ice written down the side. "you should start working on your ice jutsu it is your heritage after all"

"Ice-style..." I said softly thinking of the concept, mixing wind and water chakra. I opened the scroll looking through the first few techniques finding one that sounded interesting. I placed the scroll down then performed the seals focusing my two chakras melding them together then moved my chakra to my hand and while thinking of the shape of a swallow then swung my hand forward as if I was throwing a kunai, then a small frozen bird formed and flew from my hand cutting threw the air but as it hit the tree it shattered leaving only a faint cut in the tree. I looked over the cut and felt it, it was cold and wet.

"I need to focus harder make it stronger and make more of them" I contemplate and walked back a little doing the seals again and focusing even more of the cold chakra to my hand before swinging my hand in one burst I shot all the chakra as one swallow. It whistled through the air glinting in the air before hitting the tree lodging in deeper before shattering.

"Now more" I smiled seeing that it was coming along well, I thought over how to make the max number of swallows. I weaved the seals again quickly focusing the ice chakra along my fingers in up my wrist focusing five chakra currents then swung my hand creating five frozen swallows that whistled through the air and with five soft thunks they sunk to the same depth as the second one I made before cracking and shattering leaving another five marks in the tree.

I panted softly feeling how much chakra ice-style took and turned toward the lake having a thought, I performed the seals then focused the five sets of chakra along my fingers before swinging my hand launching the swallows into the water hearing soft slish as the ice cut into the water submerging leaving a bit of frost floating on the surface. I breathed softly watching hearing a few cracks as bits of ice floated to the surface accompanied by a small dark cloud of blood.

"Oops..." I stared the cloud for a second before it was faded.
"Guess somebody just got breakfast"

"Whew okay" I said breathing in having taken a break to let my chakra recharge. I looked through the other low ranking techniques of both the Kaishin and ice scrolls finding another technique in the ice-style I wanted to learn.

"Ice Gaurd" I read over the technique memorizing the seals, functionality, and method of it. before getting up and walking over to the water's edge weaving the seals focusing my ice chakra into my palms before pressing them to the ground channeling the cold aura around me watching as a small stream of waterlifted from the lake slowly forming into a sphere-like spiral around. I watched as water started to feed into the strand that wrapped around meand as it got to the tip started to leak out but fell around me in the shape of a ball.

"Wow..." I said breathlessly amazed as the water fell and slowly froze into it's spherical shape around me completly see through with a white vein wrapping around it's form. I then decided to test its damage capacity and brought my arm back before launching a punch at the spiral vein seeing it crack then threw another punch at it seeing it crack more then as I saw the damage and the form of the ice I punched in between the vein seeing it crack just as bad as the two blows on the vein.

"Interesting another blow and it'll shatter" I said seeing the faint crack lines running through the whole spherethen dispelled the jutsu the water thawing and falling over me in a cold downpour. "coldcoldcoldcoldcoldcoldCOLD!!!"

"M-m-mental note, n-n-next time, b-b-break it don't dispel" I muttered to myself as my teeth chattered as I warmed my body under the sun. I needed to train it more to see what else it could withstand. I stood up walking onto the water standing in front of the waterfall, I watched the water fall from the other lake and into this lake before flowing on. I walked under it struggling to stay up with the uneven water and the extra pressure.

I weaved the signs and saw the same tendril of water slowly rise and from the water and trying to wrap around me like last time. The tendril's shape and concentration was too weak too withstand the pressure quickly disintegrating into the flow.

"Dammit" I performed the seals again pushing more of my chakra into it watching as a bigger stronger tendril wrapped around my form before taking on its sphere-like shape around me my chakra causing the water not to fall on me and fall around the sphere slowly freezing looking like a window on a rainy day aside from the foggy white vein wrapping through its form creating it's brace.

"This looks beautiful" I mused softly watching seeing the water beat down on my little frost sphere slowly making it crack and I could feel the water slowly spray down on me as the cracks traveled through the frozen globe from the top of the pressure to the furthest point, right under my feet.

I watched like it was almost in slow motion as the top shattered water falling in as the sides were repelled outward sinking under my feet, all of it looking like, in a very weird and frozen way, a flower blooming. It quickly disintegrated without the constant chakra flow in the lukewarm water.

Description: D-Rank, after the user performs the signs they will crouch and place their palm near the ground at 45* angle then focus their chakra into the ground freezing the water or fusing into the ice or snow before making a narrow waves of spikes burst from the ground racing toward their target at 5 meters a second the spikes are shot up at the same 45* this versions range is 30 meters.

C-Rank, after the user performs the signs they will crouch and place their hands flat against the ground focusing their chakra into a wide area of the ground under them freezing any water or fusing into the ice or snow then bursts out of the ground in a ring around the user traveling at 10 meters a second this versions range is only 20 meters and the spikes have the strength to pierce through cloth flesh and bone but not through any metal.
The length of spikes is proportional to the amount of chakra the user puts into it.
D-Rank: 2 meters
C-Rank: 4 meters
B-Rank: 6 meters
A-Rank: 8 meters
S-Rank: 10 meters
The range is from the user to the base of the final spikes. Ex, A B-class ninja putting an S-Rank amount of chakra into it would make the D-rank version go 30 meters then an extra 10 for the length of the spikes.

"Hm..." I looked over a new technique that Suin said had only been discovered recently. I looked through the technique analyzing it and all of its uses, noticing how basic yet unique the move was.

"Okay" I walked down to the next to the water's edge knowing the ground was moist and that it was wetter the closer it was to the lake. I breathed in deeply before performing the Handsigns focusing the icy chakra into my palm keeping my breathing steady as the flow continued to build in my palm being able to see the white-blue glow around my palm. I then crouched down holding my palm in front of me at an angle before pushing the chakra in my palm into the ground, a few seconds later I could hear the soft cracking of ice.

"What's going on?" I said quietly as the cracking continued then suddenly three ice spikes sprouted out of the ground in front of me followed by row after row noticing that each spike in each row grew at a different pace until they were ten meters away and the spikes all looked about four meters long. Watching the ice sprout was amazing as it glowed softly from the chakra coursing through it but even as it did i could see the glow slowly fade until it was normal ice.

"stronger then I thought" I gently touched the spike closest to me feeling its cool and wetness and a second later it shattered as did the rest of the ice melting before it hit the ground and as the wind hit it, it made a soft spray of water.
