Anyone coming into contact with the swirling Sakurai petals will find themselves suffering a mild shock akin to a severe first-degree burn. Tangible elements without strong electromagnetic fields (Doton and Mokuton) pass through this without difficulty.

Uchiha clone commented on Amarante’s progress so far. “That’s good Amarante, you’ve gotten at least decent enough with the technique to continue onto the next part of the training” he complimented the girl… sort of.

Amarante looked to him with an agitated but curious look on her face. “And what’s the next part of training for the jutsu?” she enquired. The variants for this technique should be good even if the technique was a little girly in it’s nature, she was a girl would anyone dare call her weak?

Pointing a finger in the air, the clone of Uchiha began to explain the next step in her training of the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ technique. “Okay next up for you training is you’re going to take the raiton: sakura and turn it into a shield of lightning protection” he informed her, gaining some mild interest.

“What you do is take the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ and swirl it around your form at a very fast pace, making something of a mini tornado around you. This variant of the jutsu is called the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning swirl’” he finalised with his explanation.

“So really you just added the word swirl to the end of the technique” Amarante said raising an eyebrow, clone Uchiha shrugging in response. “Well whatever, so now all I do is summon the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ technique and swirl it around me… is that it?” she enquired.

“Well basically yes” replied the clone of Uchiha. “Perhaps it’s best I show you the technique just so you know for sure what you are doing?” he offered, Amarante gesturing for him to do so. The man spread himself apart from the girl four meters and then performed the hand signs.

Blue and white flower petals of lightning then surrounded him, almost to the point where Amarante couldn’t see the man but then they quickly sped up and surrounded him like a tornado, spinning around in a circle so fast that she could swear she could feel herself being pulled into it like a mini tornado.

She lost sight of Uchiha completely when he did this for a moment and when he came back into view, the jutsu dispersing, Amarante had to say she was impressed. “That’s a pretty good shield” she complimented the jutsu. “Maybe a little better then my water shield technique but probably not automatic huh?”

Uchiha remained silent, giving Amarante her answer. Deciding that she’d have to try the jutsu out, she formed some hand signs and brought out the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ technique. “Here goes…” Amarante trailed off, forming the extra hand signs needed for the technique.

The lightning petals around her began to circle her but their speed was very slow, it barely increased in speed since the formation of the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’. It would hardly protect her from a jutsu so to combat this Amarante tried forming the hand signs again.

Wsith this second attempt the lightning petals didn’t really speed up that much, the second pulse of chakra just gave the technique something similar to a small boost. A little disgruntled now but undeterred, Amarante tried the jutsu again.

With her first two attempts failing miserably, in her opinion, Amarante formed the hand signs again for third attempt at the jutsu. The speed of the technique rotated quickly around her and though while it wasn’t as powerful as Uchiha’s rotation it did manage to hide her form well enough.

Smirking in her slight victory Amarante let the jutsu drop, the rotating petals slowing down at a snails pace and then disappearing completely. After that she was met with the gaze of Uchiha who had been watching her attempt for a distance of about five meters away, the man having walked another meter back, not exactly sure of standing too close to her while she was trying out the jutsu variation.

“Well I should explain the functions of the shield a bit better now should I not?” the black haired man posed, Amarante motioned for him to continue. “This shield requires a high rotation speed as you already know, this is to ensure that you are able to block attacks such as two C ranked jutsu.”

“So all I’ve got to do is speed up my techniques rotation?” Amarante questioned hoping to get a better understanding. “And then I would have mastered the technique?”

The clone of Uchiha shook his head. “No” it stated bluntly. “While that is the first thing you’ll have to do, you’ll also have to increase the techniques volume so it will actually be able to fend off the C ranked jutsu else they’ll just slam right into you, an unfavourable outcome at the very least.”

Amarante nodded. It would be an unfavourable out, a very unfavourable on if the technique she was trying to block broke through he shield and hurt her, possibly killing her. “Alright then I guess I’ll give it another go” she announced, forming more hand signs and summoning the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ technique around her.

Taking a deep breath, Amarante readied herself for her variation attempt. She slowly moved her hands through the signs required for the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning swirl’ and once complete she tried to move the blue and white flower petals of lightning around her to form a protective shield.

It moved faster yes but it wasn’t as fast as she needed it to be, her guess it being about half the speed of Uchiha’s, but once again the jutsu did perform half of its job and concealed her from sight. A small victory in the least but a victory all the same, she had learnt to take whatever she could get from these small training sessions with Uchiha and the Great Hoshigaki.

Her hands went though the jutsu variations hand signs again and increased its speed even further, up the techniques required speed as shown by Uchiha not very long ago. “Well I can do it in two attempts, now I just need to work that down to one” she said aloud to herself, letting the jutsu drift away.

Once she had waited for the technique to disappear, she recast the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ technique and readied herself for another jutsu attempt. She flipped through the hand signs and the lightning petals around her formed into the spinning swirl, reminiscent of a tornado, that she needed to make for the technique to work.

“Excellent” she heard shadow clone Uchiha comment over the noise of the spinning petals of lightning. “Now you just have to increase the techniques volume and you’ll have this jutsu down flat.”

Amarante let her jutsu die down in response, thinking it’d be easier for her to give the technique more volume from scratch with the ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning’ technique before going into the swirl. She reformed the Raiton: Sakura’s hand signs and created a flurry of blue, white flower petals.

There were a lot more petals this time then with her previous jutsu creations and it was a little harder to move when she performed the variation of ‘lightning style: Cherry blossom lightning swirl’ but she managed to keep it together and create a shield of lightning petals all around her.

Next up in her training was… Yes you guessed it more Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning style jutsu. It was becoming a favourite of hers, very pretty, very useful and very awesome. She glanced over to the clone of her companion Uchiha with a curious expression, gaining the older mans’ clones’ attention.

“What? Why are you looking at me like that?” the clone asked her, weirded out by the blond girl.

“Well what are you going to teach me next?” Amarante enquired, taking out a note pad and pen. “What’s the next Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique varient that you’re going to teach? And also tell me this. To what extent can I utilise the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning? Exactly how much potential does this jutsu have?”

The Uchiha clone stared at the girl for a moment in silence before answering. The girls lust for power surprised even him at times, she managed to hide it well underneath all of the cutesy girly behaviour but it was still very much present but always very subtle. What did she think about? The clone wondered.

Her history was a mystery to him but still that ever so familiar lust for power was so familiar. The clone sighed before forming hand signs and his form becoming encased with blue and white petals surrounding him. “The next jutsu I’ll teach you is called the ‘Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning sword’ but before I display the technique for you…”

The man trailed off. “I’ll tell you of the extant of the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning’s potential…” he paused for a moment creating suspense with Amarante listening intently. “The Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning… Has root through all rank of jutsu albeit D rank meaning that it has S rank jutsu variations.”

Amarante’s eyes widened. She could have an S rank jutsu with this technique? Or better yet more then one S rank jutsu? It must really be powerful. Uchiha continued with his teaching at this point. “Well first things first, you have to learn the C rank variations first, it’s the only way I’ll teach you. After this I’ll teach you B then A and then finally the S rank jutsu.”

As he finished speaking his hands continued to produce signs, the clone being generous and letting Amarante memorise the signs he performed. At his whim the petals moved in the air and he raised his hand out in front of him and the petals swarmed there. They fused and melded together at his command and created a sword of equal length of her katana blade.

“As the jutsu dictates… With this technique you create a sword of lightning with the petals” Clone Uchiha informed Amarante. “You fused them together with your chakra and form a weapon though this weapon is for offensive purposes only, it can not defend like a normal blade.”

Amarante nodded, comprehending the techniques implications. Deciding that she may as well give it a go now, Amarante tried her hand at performing the jutsu summoning the chakra petals around her and then performing more hand signs to start the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Sword technique.

Things weren’t going to plan however, when the petals would touch together and try and meld they’d spark up and reject each other. “No damn it meld together!” Amarante cried in frustration. She eventually had to let the jutsu drop because things weren’t working so she summoned up another flurry of blue and white petals.

Once again she tried to meld the petals together, forming more hand signs and casting the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Sword technique. Success this time, Amarante was able to meld a few together though it wasn’t going to be taking any form into something useful anytime soon.

Now armed with the ability to meld her chakra petals together, Amarante decided top try and make something of use but what? She decided that she’d start small before making a big ass katana blade like Uchiha had done so a kunai knife seemed to be a good option for her to try and make.

She held her hand out in front of her and tried to move enough of the charry blossom petals of lightning into her hand, fusing them together into a form reminiscent of a kunai. Her vision was obscured little by her hand however and the attempt ended up forming a rectangle shape and not the kunai which she had wanted.

“No that’s not what I want” she said aloud to herself, trying to change its shape, Amarante somehow managed to turn it into a circle, the girl trying to fold in its edges at the time. “That’s not what I wanted either!” she exclaimed, annoyed that she messed up once again.

Giving up on the circle for now, Amarante tried the jutsu again. She used a different section of petals this time and she tried her bestest to form the kunai she wanted to. Her result was that she had something that looked to be the shape of a kunai but it was a blunt one if it ever did look like a kunai.

She tried to sharpen the edges but it was difficult to do so. She ended up sharpening them to much and making the kunai knife to thin, screwing up her jutsu attempt. Sighing Amarante could do nothing but move onto another section of petal. She was hoping that she’d have enough left for another three attempts before having to recast the jutsu.

She tried out the lightning sword jutsu again, trying to make the kunai she was having so much trouble with. Her thoughts were that it’d be easier to create the dagger straight up rather then just altering it after getting it kind of right like she was doing before but only time would tell if she was right.

The kunai moulded and took shape of a blue and white knife which she held out in front of her (?). It was almost perfect, almost. All she really needed to do now was sharpen out the edges but how was she going to do that? A thought crossed her mind. A shuriken had a more intricate shape so maybe she should try that out.

For her forth attempt out of five, Amarante placed her hand out in front of her and summoned a group of chakra petals to mould together into what she hoped would be a shuriken of blue and white lightning. Her attempt failed though and all she managed to create was a circle, the more advanced shape of a shuriken beyond her reach.

The circle wasn’t perfect however, it had some bumps in it along the side so all she had to do was increase the depth of those bumps and sharpen their edges to make the shuriken she wanted. For her fifth and last attempt at the jutsu for this set of petals, Amarante tried to create the shuriken, focusing on the bumps she had created in her last attempt. Hoping to make them deeper.

Her perseverance was rewarded and she was met with a perfect image of a blue and white shuriken in front of her which was a nice thing for her too see right now. “Alright next up…” she trailed off, narrating her training. She formed hand signs and summoded forth more chakra petals via Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique.

This time she’d work on creating five kunai knives all at once, after that she’d try and make the Katana blade like Uchiha had done before her. She formed the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Sword techniques extra hand signs and focused on bringing the petals from the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique into five different places.

It was difficult to move from one straight to five places to focus on but Amarante thought she did okay. She’d managed to create five lightning kunai that were at least decent in their structure so it was at the very least a minor success. Her impatience got the best of her however and she dived straight into making the lightning katana like Uchiha did.

She cast the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning to replenish her cherry blossom petal supplies and then began to flip through the Lighting Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Swords extra hand signs, focusing on a place in front of her and drawing all the petals to it.

She fused them all together, thinking of how she made the kunai knife but lengthening the blade to a much larger degree. Her result: she managed to make a katana with a structure similar to Uchiha’s though not as advanced, that was just a mute point however. It was just all practice, she’d catch up to his level soon enough.

With her training going well, Amarante heard Uchiha pipe up. “Good but not quite there yet” he commented. “The kunai you made a moment ago and the sword you’ve created now are of a decent quality but they are not of a battle quality. You’ll have to work on them before you’d be able to say that you’ve mastered the technique.”

Amarante scowled. “Like I need you to tell me that!” she complained, forming the hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning she continued. “All I need is a little more training and then I’ll be good.” With these words she formed the hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Sword technique.

With this attempt she was trying to make five shuriken to help her with her edge creation with shuriken being the most intricate of weapon designs she could bother to think of, so focusing on five spots in front of her, she tried out the technique attempting to create some shuriken for her to use. They took form slowly with her concentration being divided but their creation was a success.

She’d managed to create five shuriken but their quality was lacking to say the least so she dropped the jutsu and cast the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique again for a reload on her flower petals.Focusing once again on five separate places in front of her, she tried her hardest once again at making the five shuriken.

The blue and white petals of lightning chakra melded together and with her intent focus she managed to create five perfect shuriken of blue and white colour, their lines being distinct and sharp.

Amarante let the shuriken created by the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Sword technique fade out of existence and turned toward the clone of Uchiha once again. “Well that was easy” she boasted, not even fazed by the training she had gone through so far. “Got anything more difficult you can teach me?” the blond then enquired.

The clone smirked. “All in good time Amarante, all in good time…” the clone of a man trailed off. “For now, these techniques I’m teaching you are just the basics of the cherry blossom lightning style, meaning that you need all of these techniques before you can continue into the more powerful levels of the jutsu.”

Sighing Amarante spoke. “Yeah I thought that that’s what this was. So tell me what’s the next jutsu you’re teaching me?”

“This jutsu is that last of the basics” The clone informed her. “It is called the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Run.” Forming hand signs the blue and white petals from the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning surrounded the clone, dancing randomly around until they were directed to do other wise.

“What you do here is form these hand signs” the clone began to slowly form hand signs at this point and continued to speak. “And inject the petals from the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning with more of you chakra so that they’ll be able to stun upon striking an opponent.”

Some petals around the clone crackled with electricity for a second before ten of them being launched forward with an intense speed, Amarante’s eyes barely keeping up with them, their speed that of a senbon. They struck a tree the clones opposite, destroying themselves and leaving small but deep indents.

Amarante had to admit that she was impressed. She liked long range jutsu as her age and size meant that she wasn’t that strong physically and this one seemed like it’d be able to do some damage, and this was just the first of the cherry blossom lightnings jutsu, limage what the rest of the techniques were like.

Amarante decided that it was her turn to give the jutsu a go so she separated herself from Uchiha and cast the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique, the technique being the basis of all the jutsu in the style. Electricity crackled in the air around her and soon she was surrounded by hundred of sakurai petals.

Now it was time for her jutsu attempt. She focused her chakra and formed the hand signs she had memorised from the clone of Uchiha before. She injected a select few of the petals, ten of them, and injected them with more of her chakra. The petals sparked with electricity and then blew up creating a small burst of lightning upon their demise.

“I should point out that if you inject the petal with too much chakra they’ll just blow out like that” mentioned the clone of Uchiha. Amarante sighed, it should have been obvious that they would but she guessed that she just got ahead of herself like always and chose another group of petals to try the technique out with.

She formed more hand signs for the Lightning Run variation of the Cherry Blossom technique and injected another select group of petals with her chakra. This time they didn’t explode but they also didn’t spark up like Uchiha’s did. Curious, Amarante tried to launch them like Uchiha’s jutsu but they just sailed alone like the normal petals would.

“So the first time I gave them too much chakra and now this time I haven’t given them enough. *Sigh* this really is annoying” Amarante remarked aloud.

Annoyed with how difficult the jutsu was being with her, Amarante formed more hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Run technique using another ten sakurai petals from the hundreds she had already created, it was a benefit she supposed really. Seeing as thought the original Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique created hundreds of petals the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Run technique didn’t require her to have to recast the technique over and over like she had been doing with all the other techniques she had been training so far.

She focused her chakra very intently, carefully controlling the amount of chakra she was injecting into the technique. The petals in response sparked with chakra but exploded right after the chakra was injected into them. “Gr damn it!” Amarante cried in frustration. It was really hard to correctly distribute the chakra through the jutsu to the correct proportions.

Forming the hand signs for the lightning run technique again though, Amarante had some success with the jutsu. The petals sparked with chakra and didn’t explode. “Right so now I’ve got that part down, next up I’ll have to check out the techniques speed” Looking around Amarante picked out a tree that looked like it was at a far enough distance way for her jutsu.

Aiming at the tree now, Amarante shot off the ten petals which were now chakra enhanced, aiming at the tree. They shot off at a decent rate but it wasn’t as fast as Uchiha’s was so she singled out another group of ten petals and then injected her chakra into them after performing some hand signs via Lightning Run technique.

They blew up again though, causing Amarante’s frustration to come right back “Guess I’m not as good with that technique as I thought” she grumbled taking a breath to calm herself. She formed the hand signs again and this time limited the amount of chakra she was putting into the sakurai petals even further.

The petals sparked and did not explode which was a good thing so she shot them off at the tree again. They sailed through the air and lodged themselves into the trunk before disintegrating. The techniques speed was more up to her standards now, almost as fast as a senbon but not completely there yet.

“Good Amarante, very good” the Uchiha clone complemented. “Now we should really test out the techniques paralysing ability to really make sure you got the jutsu down” he suddested but Amarante wasn’t really to sure about it.

“And just how are we supposed to do that?” the young blond questioned. She then heard an unnatural rammage from the trees behind her and quickly pulled out a kunai in response. Next she heard a vaguely familiar voice.

“Perhaps I can help with that!” the voice offered with a boom. A man with a bowl hair style cut and black hair emerged from the trees. He was wearing a leaf Jonin tactical vest and a green spandex looking jump suit, really it was all pretty unattractive but it did somehow look familiar.

“How about you use me as a human target, you’ll be able to test the technique’s strength on my reaction and then You’ll know if you’ve mastered it” he offered of himself and then Amarante remembered where she had seen him.

“You’re the guy who helped me free that bear aren’t you!” she exclaimed, the man nodded in response and shot her a smile, his teeth gleaming.

“That’s right little girl I’m the one who put that guy behind bars for that disgraceful act of animal abuse and I have you to thank for it. I’d give you something in return but I’m afraid that I have nothing on hand at the moment.”

“So you know him?” asked Uchiha clone? Amarante nodded. “Well I was wondering what he was doing here, he’s been watching us for a while now.”

Both Amarante and the strange mans’ eyes widened at the clones’ word and they both exclaimed in unison. “You knew (he/I) was here?” the asked of the clone.

“Yes he’s been here since you started training the swirl variation his on of the cherry blossom lightning technique” he informed the two of his knowledge.

Both Amarante and the strange guy spoke in unison again. “That long!” they both cried at the same time before looking at each other again. The strange guy continued to speak after this clearing his throat first. “Anyway, as I said you can use me as a human test subject for you jutsu” he posed.

Amarante looked to Uchiha clone for clarification though the clone just shrugged. Amarante sighed. “Well just remember you asked for it” she warned, forming the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Run techniques hand signs and injecting her chakra into ten petals around her.

The strange guy beat his chest confidently. “Lay it on me! With my perfectly sculpted body this is nothing for me!” he boasted confidently. Amarante shrugged at shot the petals at the man. They struck him in the legs, Amarante aiming there in an attempt of pity, she knew this was going to hurt him, this was electricity after all.

The strange guy held a confident smirk as the petals speed for him. It wasn’t until after they struck him did he lose this air of confidence and he hit the ground clutching his thigh. “Ah yeah the jutsu is plenty strong” he declared as he held his thigh, Amarante pitied him.

“Fool…”

Strange Guy was down. The man clad in green let his over confidence get the best of him and in return he was down for the count, clutching his thigh. Amarante walked over to him with a look of distain on her face. gYou know I could have told you that that was going to happenh she criticized.

As she said this however, strange Guy seemed to have gotten his second wind. gNo Itfs quite alright, me and my perfectly sculpted body are just honky doryh he assured both Uchiha and Amarante. gAnyway Ifm sorry for scaring you like that just now, please look in my eyes and feel my sincerest apologies, also notice my handsome manly features.h

Both Amarante and Uchiha sweat dropped from the mansf words, each of them freaked out by his mannerisms, but the Guy continued. gWell anyway, donft feel as though you have to stop training on my account, please continue and hey maybe I can even help you master some of the more intense jutsu.h

The Strange Guy smiled and his teeth gleamed in the sun light, causing both Amarante and Uchiha to freak the fuck out again but hey. If the guy could help out with her training in anyway shefd be up for it, anything to get stronger she thoughtc Anythingc No matter how weirdc

Shooting Uchiha an uncaring look, the Sharingan user sighed and proceeded with his teaching. gVery wellc If you insist on having this guy join us them I guess I have no choice but to accept as wellh he rationalised. The Strange Guy held a victorious smirk and his teeth gleamed again.

Still uncomfortable with the groups new members mannerisms Uchiha hesitantly continued with his Cherry Blossom teachings. gAlright the next Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique Ifm going to teach you is the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb.h

Amarante liked the sound of that. gAwesome a bomb jutsuh she cried, forgetting that she had horrible luck when it came to exploding tags and the like. Seriously killng your own team members probably wasnft the best thing someone could do but considering that she was still alive and had all her limbs she couldnft be too bad.

Uchiha brushed his hair, cool guy anime style and continued on with the techniques explanation. gThe Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb jutsu requires you to condense your chakra into one of the Sakurai petals and then ignite it when the jutsu dictates.h

Amarante nodded in understanding as strange guy gave his own brief remark on the technique. gAlso itfs informative to know that the bomb explodes with the force of an exploding tag meaning that you should probably train the jutsu at a safe distance from you.h

Amarante smiled. gThanks strange guy!h she exclaimed happily before turning back to Uchiha and shooting him a look of distaste. gSee Uchiha, someone cares enough about me to warn me when I might kill myselfc Unlike someone else I knowh she scolded.

Strange guy chuckled, entertained by Amarantefs nickname for him. gHehe Strange Guy is it?h he said aloud. gWell its close enough I guessh the man shrugged and accepted his new name as Strange Guy.

While this was happening Amarante was forming hand signs and focusing chakra into her Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique. Next up she began to form the hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb technique, Uchiha quickly showing them to her.

Focusing her chakra into one of the petals that had surrounded her Amarante slowly began to divulge into the jutsu. The chakra seeped into the petal very slowly but despite her careful attempts the petal exploded, luckily it was a small explosion though, Amarante not having gone so far into the technique for her to be worried about getting blown up in the process.

Cutting her loses Amarante tried the technique again with a different Sakurai petal and channelled her chakra into it though once again it exploded once more, proving that the small petal couldnft handle the large amount of chakra. Amarante sighed, this jutsu was going to take longer then she would like.

Amarante scrunched up her face, the Sakurai petals of the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique still dancing around aimlessly around her. Strange Guy began to voice up his opinion. “I thought that you were going to put some distance between you and that petal?” he questioned.

The green clad man had a worried expression on his face. “That technique could literally kill you if you’re not careful, I’d hate to see you killed for trying to learn this technique now, even with the small amount of training I’ve seen you complete I can tell that you’re above the level of other shinobi your age, to see that talent wasted…”

The man trailed off, not wanting to finish any thoughts that he may have had. Amarante waved it off though. “Relax I don’t plan on dieing any time soon” she assured the man. “I’m just confident that the explosions aren’t up to that of a deadly level yet so relax.”

Strange guy looked over to Uchiha for confirmation and the man nodded in return. Strange Guy dipped his head. “Well alright then” he approved. Looking up again, the man went straight back into his weird… Ness… “Well Uchiha, I think that’s your name, how about you show Amarante the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb technique so she can check it out for herself.”

Uchiha consented to the mans request and formed hand signs but not before separating himself from Amarante and her Sakurai petals first. He was then surrounded by petals of blue and white lightning which danced his form around aimlessly as he formed the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bombs’ hand signs.

Focusing his chakra into one of the petals, a single Sakurai left the group and floated seven meters away from the group. Amarante closed her ears as her own petals danced around her, knowing what was coming and then boom! The Sakurai petal exploding in a very large way, taking a range of three meters in diameter.

The explosion was pretty impressive Amarante had to admit, but still her own variation of the jutsu was abysmal at best which sort of hurt her feelings a bit. She decided to continue on with her training and focused more chakra into one of her petals.

It seemed to be going well and Amarante was able to inject a fair amount of chakra into the petal, though it was only in comparison with her previous attempts at the jutsu which was actually very small compared to what the jutsu actually required.

It was all going well but then the petal exploded in a small burst of chakra, the explosion bringing with it a pretty little expulsion of chakra in its demise which almost brought a smile to Amarante’s face to see such a thing but really she had more important things to worry about then how pretty something was.

Forming more hand signs, Amarante tried the jutsu again focusing on controlling her chakra even better this time, chakra control being the key in pouring her chakra into something so small. She funnelled it into the blue and white petal so slowly, keeping tabs just on how much she would be putting into the technique.

Little by little she poured in more chakra and once she reached what she thought was the brim of how much chakra the petal could take, she paused for a moment. She took a deep breath and then proceeded to add in more chakra, focusing so much that she forgot that Strange Guy and Uchiha were present.

The petal blew up in her face and created another small flutter of chakra in its wake, as pretty as the one before it but she really wasn’t interested in how pretty the failed technique was right now.

“Damn it!” the young blonde cried in agitation. “Why the hell can’t this god damned petal take the chakra I need it to?”

Strange guy looked over to Uchiha and whispered a question to him silently. “Hey Uchiha is she always this easily frustrated?” the green clad man enquired, Uchiha nodded his head in response. “Wow so how do you put up with it all the time” the man remarked aloud gaining Amarante’s attention. “I mean it must get annoying right?”

Uchiha nodded again. “You get used to it though so it doesn’t bother me” the black haired man with the better hair cut replied. “It’s actually quite comforting after a while, let’s me and my companion Hoshigaki some peace of mind… Well sort of, it’s mainly a hassle but a hassle we’re happy to have.”

Strange Guy nodded in understanding but then put a finger and thumb to his chin in thought. ‘A Hoshigaki and Uchiha travelling together…’ he was sure he had heard something about that but he was dragged from his thoughts by Amarante’s wailing. “Who’s a hassle!” the young blade cried.

Uchiha and Strange Guy tried to ease her out of her rage. “Come now Amarante, I said that you’re a hassle I’m happy to have, that’s a good thing” the clone of Uchiha tried to convince of the girl but Amarante was having none of it.

“Yeah whatever, do you known how much of a hassle you are to me?” the young blonde questioned getting a knowing look from Uchiha and strange guy. “Uh well you’re not exactly a hassle but do you know how much of a hassle Hoshigaki is?” Uchiha and Strange Guy still held the same gaze. “Ah well he’s not exactly a hassle either but…”

Amarante trailed off. “Shut up!” she exclaimed forming more hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb technique, focusing her chakra into a single petal. In her frustration she injected her chakra into the technique to fast and too much and it exploded much too quickly. “Damn it!” Amarante cried but Uchiha was quick to cut in.

“Amarante May I offer you some advice?” the Sharingan user offered, Amarante nodding in acceptance. “When using this technique you have to compressed your chakra into the petal, little by little. Think of compressing it in layers I guess you could put it” he informed the girl.

Amarante understood what he was saying but how to implement it was a different story. She formed the hand signs and tried to inject her chakra into the technique slowly and once it reached what she thought to be the brim she stopped the chakra up load but maintained a sort of connection.

Now she was trying to compress the chakra into a smaller ball but with this happening, Amarante began to get a little scared. She wasn’t sure just how this would react so she took a few steps back so that if it did explode that she’d be able to stay safe.

The chakra compressed a little but not to a degree that she’d like even with the original small size the petal had already. It just wasn’t enough in her opinion but she decided to test out the techniques power to date and so topped the petal up and let it explode.

The petal exploded in a shade of blue and white but it was small and only took up a space of thirty centimetres but it was an actual explosion this time and although it was small it was at the very least some small progress. Things took so long to do these days, such a pity.

Uchiha piped up to comment on Amarante’s progress. “Well it seems as though you’re beginning to understand the idea of compressing chakra into the technique” he complimented to the girls progress as Strange Guy also decided to give his two cents.

“Just keep at it Amarante and I’m sure you’ll get this technique by the end of the day.”

‘By the end of the day?’ Amarante mused internally. “Well of course…” she began, speaking aloud now. “That was a given from the beginning Strange Guy, I’ll get this jutsu by the end of the day for sure, you can relax about that, the only question left is will I be able to master another B rank jutsu by the end of the day.”

Strange Guy really let her words sink in. She was really going to try and master another B rank jutsu by the end of the day? After she had already trained those other jutsu? Granted she did master them rather quickly but the distance between a B rank and a C rank jutsu was substantial.

Uchiha took note of Strange Guy’s expression but remained silent. Strange Guy in return though proceeded to question Amarante about something. “Amarante if you don’t mind me asking just how old are you?” the green clad man enquired. It had been a subject he was curious about but surely a fifteen year old like her wouldn’t be able to master a jutsu like that so simply.

Amarante smiled at his question. “I’m twelve” she answered him causing Strange Guy’s jaw to drop in immense surprise. Amarante giggled. “Hehe you thought I was older didn’t you?” she positioned finding amusement in the guys reaction to finding out her real age.

Nodding, Strange Guy spoke. “Yeah I thought you were about fifteen” he replied in retort. His eyes were wide and his voice high pitched. “You’re really just twelve?” he asked again, Amarante nodding. “Amazing I never thought that someone so young would be so good.”

Amarante curtsied. “Thank you” she said gratefully. Uchiha found the situation amusing and stifled a small giggle. “Now then back to what I was doing” Amarante then spoke, forming more hand signs. She focused more chakra into one of the petals in front of her via Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique.

The chakra seeped into the jutsu and quickly filled the petal up to all that it could handle so Amarante compressed it into a smaller ball. This time though when it was compressed to a small level she didn’t just stop she continued to compress it and made it even smaller.

At this point once again, Amarante took a few steps back to separate herself from the potentially lethal flower petal. She didn’t want to kill herself like Strange Guy had warned ‘I mean what would it say on my death certificate: Was killed by an exploding flower petal? How embarrassing’ the young girl mused to herself.

The chakra condensed itself to a level even smaller then the attempt before hand and Amarante topped it up but she wasn’t done there no. She compressed the technique again and squished the already large amount of chakra in the technique, the amount of chakra being in relation to her previous attempts, and pushed even more chakra into the technique.

It was almost finished Amarante thought to herself but right now she pushed it away from her and decided to detonate the blue and white petal. When the petal was a distance of five meters away from everyone, Amarante let it go off and watched the ensuing explosion.

It wasn’t as impressive as she would have like though and it only managed to explode to an area of one meter, and while it was now useful it wasn’t complete, telling her that she still needed to compress more chakra into the technique.

With this thought Amarante thought about just how dangerous training this technique could be. There was actually a high risk of her killing herself with this jutsu, something she did not want to do anytime soon, but she decided to continue on with it. If she pussied out now, Uchiha definitely wouldn’t teach her the S rank jutsu for this technique.

The Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb. Such a good name for this technique Amarante thought to herself. She admitted it, she loved explosions and this one just took the cake for best jutsu ever. She could sneak a petal in so easily and to think that it exploded with the force of an exploding tag, it was so great.

Amarante formed more hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb technique and compressed the chakra into one of the petals around her. First one level and then two and then a third one this time, she was hoping to create a big boom and so that what she did.

She pushed the petal away from her to a distance of fifteen meters this time, she didn’t like how close it was to her last time it made her feel; a bit too hot and then she set it off. The jutsu this time exploded with only a force that allowed for about seventy five centimetres which surprised Amarante.

Why had she fallen backwards with her training? She turned to Uchiha for some help. “You’re focusing too much on getting it done quickly” the clone of a man piped up. He had seen what she was doing using the powers of his sharingan even if he was a shadow clone the ability remained, whether this be the powers of the shadow clone jutsu or the exceptional abilities of Uchiha, Amarante did not know.

“Your level of training does not allow you to do this however; you have to maintain a tight focus at this point. Don’t let your impatience get the best of you Amarante, take your time” he told her, Amarante understanding what he was saying.

Well… She may have understood what he was saying but it was still a pain in the ass to do. She didn’t want to have to go through everything but she guessed she’d have to and so she focused her chakra into her next petal after forming more hand signs for the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb technique.

The chakra seeped into the jutsu and quickly filled the petal up to all that it could handle so Amarante compressed it into a smaller ball and then topped up the petal once again and then she compressed her chakra once more. She was focusing greatly on what she was doing and so she compressed her chakra once more and then topped it up again.

She pushed the petal away from her, once again pushing it fifteen meters away and then she let the petal explode once again. The blast radius at this point was about one and a half meters and then something clicked in Amarante’s mind. “Hmm…” the young girl hummed as she formed more hand signs.

She filled another petal with chakra and then compressed it once again and finished off by topping it off again. ‘That was one’ she mentally counted before adding alterations to the technique and compressing the jutsu into a small ball once again and then topping it off again.

‘That was two’ the mental count continued before Amarante once again compressed her chakra and topped off the jutsu again. ‘Three…’ she counted again and compressed the chakra in the petal again, topping it off once she couldn’t do so anymore. She then compressed her chakra in the petal once more.

‘And that’s four’ she finalised the count as she topped off the jutsu once more. Pushing the petal out fifteen meters, Amarante let it explode to see what would happen…

The petal exploded in a dramatic fashion and spanned an area of two meters before being diminished from not having enough power left in the jutsu. ‘Yeah I thought so’ Amarante thought to herself as Strange Guy commented on the awesome light show.

“Whoa now that one was a little bigger” the green clad man complimented, giving a thumbs up. “You’ve almost got this one down Amarante my girl you just may have enough time to complete that second B rank jutsu yet” he shot the girl a smile with his teeth gleaming in the sun light again.

Amarante looked to the sky, looking indirectly at the sun. It was about mid day now, about an hour before she guessed so about eleven in the morning now. Really it had only been that long? She wondered to herself. Before it would have taken her a full day for her just to learn two C rank technique but she managed to do learn three in about three to four hours now.

She was making a lot of progress as a shinobi she thought to herself. It appeared to her now that learning techniques was becoming easier. Maybe soon she’d be a match for Uchiha and the Great Hoshigaki herself? No way she chuckled to herself silently. They were still out of her league; she wouldn’t be able to match them yet but soon…

Come to think of it, how strong was strange guy? She shot the man a glance. Was he strong or just full of himself? When she first met him she thought of him as being strong but that was before she had met the Great Hoshigaki and Uchiha. She’d have to test him out at some point but right now she was a little busy.

She formed hand signs for her jutsu and began to inject her chakra into one of the petals in front of her. She topped it off and then injected compressed the chakra once more and then topped it off with more chakra. She did this to all up of six layers of chakra in the petal, almost completely filling the petal with chakra.

Her theory was that for every time the jutsu was layered by two that the jutsu would reach out another meter and so with six layers it should be that she’d create a blast zone of three meters meaning that she’d be able to create an explosion equal to that of an exploding tag though this all was a theory.

There was only one way to know for sure if this would work and so she sent her petal forward fifteen meters from everyone and took some cover, she was a little nervous about this attempt for the jutsu to have a blast zone of fifteen meters it was a little scary to face it had on even if the distance between her and the explosion was twelve meters.

She let the tag explode but it didn’t exactly do what she wanted. She wanted it to explode with a diameter of three meters but the tag only managed to make it two and a half meters at most so what went wrong? Amarante racked her brain for a moment before coming to a conclusion.

‘Of course’ she said to herself mentally. With her adding layer after layer of chakra into the technique she’d managed to take up more and more space with each layer thereby making the layers smaller and smaller as she did so. With this in mind, Amarante came to the conclusion that she’d have to keep adding layer after layer of chakra into her jutsu until she couldn’t do so anymore.

Forming hand signs and focusing chakra into a petal in front of her, Amarante did just that. She condensed layer after layer of chakra into the petal until she couldn’t do so anymore. All up this ended up coming to a total of nine layers before she couldn’t do so anymore.

And so with nothing else to do, Amarante pushed the jutsu fifteen meters away from her and let the petal explode after taking some cover, this time Strange Guy and Uchiha elected to do the same, probably assuming that Amarante would have made the necessary adjustments to the technique after the last time.

The petal exploded in a very flashy way and spanned a total of three meters in its blast zone. Amarante checked the aftermath of the explosion and smiled. Yayers she’d managed to do it now all she had to do was work on how long it took her to do it and then she’d really be able to do it… Whoa she was thinking do it an awful lot wasn’t she?

Probably best for her to keep a lid on that for now…

With her training of the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb technique going good, Uchiha elected this moment after Amarante had created an explosion spanning three meters like a paper bomb to speak up and commented on the young girls performance.

“Very good Amarante now all you really have to do is work on how long it takes you to perform the technique and then you would have truly mastered the jutsu” he informed her, Amarante smiling in response. Strange Guy also chose this moment to speak up and gave Amarante his words of encouragement.

“Whoa yeah Amarante that’s the stuff! You’ll get this thing down easy girl you have my faith one-hundred percent in the matter whoa yeah!” the man cried dramatically giving Amarante a peace sign and a gleaming smile at the end of his small pep talk.

While a little freaked with the mans’ antiques, Amarante couldn’t help but be appreciative of the praise she was receiving from him and thanked him accordingly. “Thanks Strange Guy” she smiled. “And thank you too Uchiha, I appreciate your opinion very much… Well at least more then that damned Hoshigaki jackass.”

Uchiha stifled a chuckle at her words as Amarante began to continue with her training. The girl formed hand signs slowly at first but her installing of her chakra in the petal was still much faster then it would have been if she were still concentrating like she was before.

Happy with what she had managed to come up with, Amarante shot it fifteen meters forward and checked her results. She was able to make a blast zone of two meters once she let it blow up and she wasn’t exactly pleased with that so she formed some more hand signs and gave it another shot.

This time she still slowly made the hand signs but still the chakra installation was quicker then it usually would have been with Amarante spending a little more time with this attempt then she did last time but still all in all a much shorter time then with her first attempts of the jutsu.

The jutsu sailed fifteen meters away from the group on Amarante command before exploding in a diameter of three meters. With this progress, Amarante smiled. Things were getting easier now and so she formed the hand signs slowly again but spending less time then she had with her last attempt focused more chakra into another petal and sent it away fifteen meters.

The petal exploded again the blast range being three meters once more so now confident, Amarante formed the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning Bomb techniques hand signs again though this time they were at a mid pace and the span of time Amarante would put into injecting her chakra into the technique would match the hand signs creations pace.

The resulting explosion once the petal reached fifteen meters away was one of a two meter radius and while it was good that she was able to do so it wasn’t good enough. This technique required a user to create an explosion with a force equal to that of one of an exploding tag not one of almost the force of an exploding tag.

With this in mind, Amarante formed the Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning technique’s hand signs again putting more chakra into the technique but not slacking on how fast the jutsu had been and stuck with its speed. Then with her chakra invested into the technique she pushed it away from her for fifteen meters and then set it off.

The blast range was that of an exploding tag this time and created a blast of three meters. Smirking in slight victory, Amarante set off on what she hoped would be her last phase of training for this technique and that was being able to cast the jutsu at the speed she would in an actual battle.

This speed was fast, pretty much as fast as she could go and so she formed the hand signs and injected the jutsu with as much of her chakra as she could but kept it under control at all times and limited it in the way in which she had been doing with all her training of the jutsu.

She pushed it fifteen meters away from her… And detonated the blue and white petal, hoping for an explosion that would be of epic proportions. The petal in turn exploded and luckily for her it was with the force of an exploding tag. Victory was in her grasp… And she liked it.
