"Aaalright!" Jirou shouted to no one in particular. Today was the day that he would learn to control lightning natured chakra. Grandpa already told me what I need to do, now I can just do it! Jirou was at grandpas house today, because he was away taking care of some nonsense in the village. He would have plenty of time to learn this. Although he wouldn't be able to finish it today, he was happy that he was able to get something done without grandpa around. "He's always so strict about learning new techniques, It takes forever when he's around..." Jirou mumbled to himself.

Grandpas house was just a shabby shack in the woods outside of town. It was situated in a small, grassy clearing with lots of rocks, and trees, with a small creek running right down the middle. He noticed the sun was shining especially brightly today, as he could see it through the light mist that was always laid over his village.

Grandpa had taught Jirou what he needed to know yesterday. He told him he needed to concentrate on vibrating his chakra, and focus his chakra to his hands while holding his palms close together. This would cause the chakra to arc between his hands, and he could learn how to control the chakra better after that. He also warned him that if he didn't focus hard enough, he would make fire natured chakra, and he could burn his hands.

Jirou began by warming himself up. He always found controlling chakra easier after he stretches out his system. Sitting down on the warm grass, Jirou spread his legs out in front of him, and reached past his feet, stretching out his quads and his calves. He then stretched his arms across his chest, and did some pushups. He stopped keeping track because he could keep doing pushups for several hours without stopping if he felt like it.

"Aaahh, that feels better. Now we can start molding chakra!" Jirou said. He was ready to go, so he plopped down heavily on the grass and clapped his hands on his cheeks. After he lost this memory, this habit was ingrained in his mind. He found that it got his blood flowing as well as his chakra.

Jirou started by putting his hands close together, almost touching. He pushed his chakra to his hands, and felt them surge with energy. As soon as he felt the chakra filling up his hands, he closed his eyes and focused on making the chakra vibrate. He pictured the chakra vibrating so much that it would turn into a lightning bolt.

"OW!" Suddenly Jirous oponed his eyes to see fire around his hands. He quickly put out the fire by waving his hands around and rubbing them on the grass next to him. He would have to be more careful, just like grandpa said... But he was close, the chakra felt different from when he used fire. It was moving a lot faster.

Jirou closed his eyes and put his hands close together again, but this time a bit further apart. About two inches apart this time. This time he would focus on making his chakra vibrate, but at the same time prevent friction. That's probably what made the chakra light up like that. He opened his chakra flow and let it move to his hands. Just like before, he let his chakra run between his hands, while focusing on making his chakra vibrate. But this time, he focused on separating his chakra into separate tendrils of electricity.

Jirou then opened his eyes and looked down, to find that he had failed. He couldn't see anything at all. He could definitely feel the electricity moving there, but there wasn't anything visible. But at least this time he didn't light his hands on fire. He was headed in the right direction. Now to try again.

Jirou went through the process of gathering his chakra, and attempting to make his chakra arc between the palms of his hands. This time he let the chakra flow longer, about a minute this time. He concentrated as hard as he could, making the chakra vibrate, and picturing arcs of electricity moving in between his hands. When he opened his eyes and looked at his hands he was excited to see that he had finally achieved what he was looking for! He had electricity moving between his hands! Although it wasn't what he was hoping... The sparks were barely visible, and he hardly felt them. He would have to keep practicing.

Jirou continued practicing through the afternoon. He wasn't using much chakra so he was able to continue for about three hours. He noticed it was dark, so he decided to wrap up his training for the day. He was getting tired, and wanted to do something else. He would try it one more time though. He was getting a lot better at molding lightning chakra.

Jirou had been practicing with his hands close together to this point, so he moved his hands far apart, and decided he would mold his chakra into one larger arc of electricity this time. He moved his hands so that they were about shoulder width apart, and closed his eyes. He then emptied his mind, and let his chakra flow to his hands, and out of his palms. He started vibrating his chakra, and concentrated on an image of an arc of lightning going between his hands. He continued this for about half of a minute, and then looked down to see that he was successful! There was an arc of electricity, although rather small in between his hands! But in his excitement and fatigue, he lost focus and the arc disappeared. He was tired so he decided he would go to bed. His hands were also growing numb from his training. He would definitely finish his training tomorrow.

It's another warm summer morning, and Jirou is ready to continue his training. He's at grandpa's house again today, because he finds it to be the best place to train. Yesterday he was able to get a good amount of lightning to go between his hands for a brief moment. He would continue exactly where he left off, attempting to get his lightning chakra to flow between his hands easily. He would have to warm up first, so he started with some running, and then stretched out his muscles. "Now it's time to start the real training." Jirou said to himself as he began.

Jirou closed his eyes just like he did yesterday, and began focusing his chakra to his hands. He moved his hands in front of him with his palms facing each other. He charged his chakra, and made it vibrate as fast as he could imagine. As soon as he felt the change, he let his chakra out of his hands. He then kept the chakra moving for almost a half a minute. And when he opened his eyes, the electricity flicked between his hands, then instantly disappeared, as he lost his concentration. "Damn... This is so much harder then I thought."

Jirou had to keep going though, he would try again. He closed his eyes and put his hands in front of him in position. This time he would hold his chakra charge for a full minute before letting his chakra out of his hands. After charging his vibrating chakra for the minute, he looked down at his hands to see his chakra instantly disappear. "Wow, it happened again. I must be doing something wrong." Jirou said to himself in disappointment. He would have to keep trying.

So Jirou continued on attempting to make the spark continue to move between his hands with less focus. He was able to do it while his eyes were closed, because he could feel it, but as soon as he opened his eyes, and lost his focus for even a moment, it would disappear. He continued like this for almost 3 hours before he needed a break. So he went inside.

Grandpa met him as he got inside, and said, "Hello Jirou! How's your training going?" But Jirou was so disappointed that he wasn't even listening. He went straight to bed.

When Jirou woke up a few hours later, he decided he would keep practicing as he had been. So he left his room and walked to the door to go outside. But on his way out, grandpa said something to him. "You have to separate the poles son." Which at the time meant nothing. But after he began practicing, and failed a few times, he remembered something. To make electricity, you need an alternator, and to alternate electricity, you need two separate magnetic poles. And this gave him an idea. If he vibrated his chakra in opposite directions, it might form poles, and create more electricity.

So he tried it. He closed his eyes and focused on vibrating his chakra through his hands, but at the same time vibrated his chakra in opposite directions. He then held his hands out and started channeling the vibrating chakra out of his hands and between them. He then looked down to see a tiny spark of electricity, moving between his outstretched hands. "I DID IT!" Jirou exclaimed to himself. He had finally done it, he was able to channel lightning natured chakra!

Jirou began practicing on channeling his chakra like this. He practiced for several hours, forming his chakra, and letting it go between his hands. But this wasn't enough, he would have to gain full control over the lightning chakra. He decided he would try to form two sparks between his hands this time. And when he gets 5 sparks, that is when he will consider his electricity mastered.

Jirou started as he always did, holding his hands out, palms facing inward, with his eyes closed. He started channeling his chakra, vibrating his chakra in opposite directions. He then watched as one meager spark formed between his palms. "Sigh, just one..." Maybe if Jirou added more chakra, he could get more sparks to form.

Jirou got in his starting pose, and started vibrating his chakra in opposite directions, just like before. He was getting really tired, he probably had just one more attempt in him. He added more chakra this time though, more specifically he tried to add twice as much chakra as before. He then let the chakra loose, and watched as one solid spark formed. Then slowly, another very small spark formed next to it. Then flickered away as he lost focus and energy. It was definitely time to go to sleep. He would finish his training tomorrow.

It was a new morning, not quite as sunny as before. He could barely see the sun shining through the thick mist that enveloped the clearing. He was going to finish learning the lightning nature today. He could barely contain himself he was so excited. Yesterday he was able to get two sparks to flicker between his hands. Even if it was just for a moment, he was so tired he barely had the strength to hold himself up. So today he would finish it, and get five sparks to move between his hands at the same time.

He needed to warm up just like any day that he's training, so he ran around the clearing a few times, then stretched out. Then he took a seat by the river. He closed his eyes and stretched his hands out in front of him, with his palms facing each other. He focused his chakra into his hands, and vibrated them in opposite directions just like before. And then he added more chakra so that he could make more sparks. He then looked down to see that he had successfully created two sparks of lightning between his hands. He quickly dissipated the chakra and moved on.

He continued to practice with two sparks for about an hour, working until he could form two sparks easily, and keep them there. He was finally able to form two sparks that were similar in size, rather then having one normal spark, and a weak meager spark. So he decided now he was ready to make three sparks. This would take quite a bit more chakra then before, and he would probably get tired after just doing this once. But he was sure he could do it.

He got back into position, and moved his palms out in front of him. He started moving his chakra to his hands just like before. And as he vibrated the chakra in his hands into opposite poles, he added more chakra. Once he was sure that he had about three times the amount of chakra that he required to make one spark, he let the electrically charged chakra out of his hands. He then opened his eyes to find four sparks! Then it split into even more tiny sparks, and they moved around in his hands without rhyme or reason. Jriou cut off the chakra, and was extremely confused. He was able to form two sparks, but then when he tried to form more, they were random and he couldn't control the amount of sparks. Then he got an idea, what if he controlled the lightning from his fingertips. That way he could control them, and link the electricity easier.

So he tried it with just one spark. He easily charged his chakra into separate poles, then he let the chakra out of his index fingers. He watched as a spark formed easily between his two fingers. Then he let chakra out of his middle fingers, and watched as another spark formed, twisting and turning around in the air. He then prepared himself for the third spark. This was going to be really hard. He pumped more vibrating chakra into his hands, and then let the chakra out of his thumbs, but as soon as he let the chakra out there, the chakra stopped flowing out of his middle fingers. He would have to keep practicing.

So he practiced for about another hour. He was extremely tired, but he was finally able to get a third spark to form without making the second spark disappear. But he was tired and hungry so he went to go have lunch with grandpa, then take a nap. He went inside to find that grandpa was making sandwiches. So he ate quietly with grandpa, without asking him any questions. He wanted to do this by himself, even though grandpa had already given him a piece of advice that changed the way that his training was going. But then grandpa gave him another piece of advice. "You have to alternate the chakra if you want more electricity young man. Keep the chakra moving." Jirou was so excited to hear this that he could barely sleep. After almost a half an hour, he finally fell asleep, and slept for almost three hours.

Jirou woke with a start, and was ready to continue training. With his energy back, he could start right where he left off. He didn't really understand what grandpa meant, but he would try to form the three sparks again, without making the second spark disappear. He got into position, just like before, and let the positively, and negatively charged chakra flow out of his fingertips. First the index fingers, then the middle, and finally the thumbs. He was disappointed to find that as soon as he let the chakra out of his thumbs, the chakra in his middle fingers flickered and stopped. Then he realized what happened. As soon as the chakra moved between his thumbs, he lost focus on his middle fingers, and the chakra stopped moving there. Just like grandpa said, he would have to keep the chakra moving.

He then formed the chakra in his hands, and vibrated them just like before. He let the chakra out of his index fingers, and then his middle fingers, but was careful to make sure that he focused on moving the chakra between his fingers. He could pump the chakra from one hand to the other, so that he didn't have to keep using chakra, and keep it moving at the same time. He then let the chakra out of his thumbs, and the chakra in his middle fingers almost stopped moving, but he concentrated on keeping his chakra moving. And he was able to keep the three sparks there! Now Jirou needed to keep practicing this with three sparks.

Jirou practiced for almost two hours with three sparks, occasionally attempting to add a fourth spark. He was able to add the fourth spark every time too, but it was extremely hard, so he kept practicing. Eventually he got to the point where he could add the fourth spark just as easily as the third, out of his ring fingers. Finally he was ready to finish his training, and would add the fifth spark. He focused the chakra to his hands, and vibrated it just like he had been doing all day, and then started pumping it between his index fingers. Good, one spark down. Then he opened the chakra flow between his middle fingers. He now had two sparks. And he continued until he had four sparks running between his fingers. He was extremely tired, he would only be able to do this once before calling it a day, and having the release completely learned. He then let the chakra flow between his pinkies, and saw that he had successfully made five sparks flow between his hands! He had finally finished learning the release!

Description: The user does an amount of handseals as they quickly concentrate on the chakra along the palm of their hands. The technique is used to where they create a small ball of lightning to where the user is capable of hurling it towards the opponent. This technique is weak however and is only capable of paralyzing an opponent for approximately one round no matter how strong the opponent may be.

it's a warm morning in grandpa's yard, and Jirou is now ready to train a new technique. But now that he's learned the lightning release, he can learn these techniques rather easily. At least that's what he thought before today. This was going to be very difficult, but if he tries really hard he can learn it all in one day. So Jirou started out by warming up his chakra. He sat down just like before, with his hands stretched out in front of him. He then started channeling his chakra into his hands. While vibrating it into opposite poles of electricity. Then he let the chakra flow out of his fingers and pumped the chakra between his outstretched fingers. Forming little bolts of electricity between all five of his fingers. "Well that was easy." Jirou said to himself. "Now that I've gotten that down, it's time to concentrate the lightning into a ball, that I can use for fighting."

Jirou performed the handseals required for this jutsu, then formed the lightning chakra into the palms of his hands, and began trying to push the chakra into a ball in between his hands. At first nothing happened, but then it started to slowly mold together into a shape that was somewhat similar to a ball. He continued to mold the chakra for almost a minute, but the chakra wouldn't mold into a ball. Jirou wasn't satisfied with his chakra control, so he continued to fiddle with the jutsu for about an hour before he got somewhat satisfying results. He was ready to try something with the jutsu. He would throw the lightning ball at the big rock in front of him. So he lunged his hands out in front of him, and as soon as the chakra left his hands, it dissipated. Jirou was disappointed yet again, so he had to continue practicing.

He practiced molding his chakra some more, then he began practicing throwing the chakra at the rock. But continued with no results. His chakra would just flop apart as soon as it left his hands. But after about two hours of practicing, he got better at molding the lightning chakra. He could easily mold the chakra into a tight ball of lightning natured chakra, but when he released it, the chakra would still flounder away from its tight shape, and disappear. He was getting more and more exhausted each time he made an attempt too. So he decided to go eat some food and rest for a bit.

He was met inside by grandpa, just like yesterday. But this time he was making curry. They ate the curry, while talking about various happenings within the village. Jirou was just about to go take a nap, when grandpa said something to motivate him in his training. "If you want to be able to throw the ball, you gotta keep the electricity moving, enough so that the momentum of the chakra keeps the ball together." This was exactly what he needed to finish learning the jutsu. So Jirou went to his room and slept for a bit. When he woke up an hour later, he was completely refreshed, and went outside to finish learning his new technique.

Jirou was now standing near the creek outside of grandpa's cabin. He was ready to continue his training, so he formed the seals required of his jutsu, then he put his hands out in front of him, and began focusing his chakra along the palms of his hands. He then charged his chakra into opposite poles by vibrating his chakra in separate directions, just like he had been doing all day today and yesterday. Then he let the chakra out of his hands, and started molding it into a ball. But this time, he spun the ball, so that it would gain momentum and hold itself together better. Once the ball was tight enough to be thrown, he threw it at a rock in front of him. The ball stayed together, but when it hit the rock, it just harmlessly hit the rock, like a ball of water, and disappeared. So he continued practicing until he was satisfied with how hard the ball was hitting the rock. This took about three hours, and by the time he finished this, he was ready to go to bed. But he needed to try one more time, to completely finish his training.

Jirou formed the seals again, just like before, and moved his chakra to the palms of his hands. He then went through the process of vibrating his chakra into separate poles, and forming the ball of lightning chakra. He then spun the chakra around as fast as he could, and let the ball grow tighter and tighter until he felt it was strong enough to do some damage. He then lifted his left leg up to his chest, and then forward to the ground, and threw the ball of lightning like he would a baseball. As hard as he could, the ball smashed into the rock, not causing any physical damage to the rock, but the sparks flickered around the rock. Jirou knew that if this had hit a person, they'd suffer a decent amount of damage from the lightning. Jirou then went to his room to sleep.

Description: The user holds as many kunai/shuriken, or metal projectile for that matter, as they can, up to 5 slots in their hands, and charges them with electricity. Extra lightning damage is added which will slightly paralyze or numb. The projectiles will shock the opponent weakly even if they don't make contact, but at least come close to.
Limit: Lightning release.

Today, Jirou was going to learn a technique based on adding lightning natured chakra to his kunai knives. He knew this seems simple enough, but he had never tried attaching his chakra to a weapon before, so it would be challenging. Grandpa had told him enough about charging weapons to get him started, but he would need to do some serious practicing to learn how to do this. And it would probably take all day. But he began preparing himself as usual by running around grandpa's sunny clearing, and stretching. Once he was warmed up, he sat down next to the creek, with his four kunai knives on the ground next to him.

Jirou then picked up one of the kunai and rested it in the palms of his hands. He then brought his chakra into his hands, and changed his chakra into electricity, and once he had enough chakra, he moved the chakra along the blade. He felt the chakra charge the blade, and when there was enough chakra in the blade, he took the handle of the blade in his hand, and threw it at a nearby tree stump. He had plenty of practice throwing kunai knives, so he could easily hit the stump exactly where he aimed. But Jirou was disappointed to find that the lightning chakra had unattached itself from his kunai long before it hit the stump.

This was going to take quite a bit more training then he thought. But he guessed he knew what he needed to do in order to get the chakra to stay on the blade. If he used momentum like before, maybe he could get the chakra to stay on the blade long enough to hit something. So he went through the process of charging his blade with electricity, while moving it back and forth across the blade at the same time. Once he had a good amount of electricity going back and forth across the blade, he threw it at the stump. But he got the same results. The chakra would just fall away from the blade as it moved through the air at the stump, and hit the stump just like a regular kunai. There was nothing he could do but keep practicing. So he practiced for another few hours until he was really tired and needed a break. So he went inside to eat and rest for a bit.

Grandpa met him when he got inside, and had been preparing some riceballs for lunch. While they ate, they talked about a genin that had recently finished an S rank mission within the village. As Jirou got up to go to his room and rest, grandpa said something to him that gave him the inspiration he needed to continue training. He told him, "Jirou boy, ya need to magnetize the chakra, so that it'll stay on the blade." That was exactly what he needed to keep going! He would definitely try that after his nap! He couldn't believe he had forgotten to magnetize his chakra. So he went to his room and passed out on his bed. When he woke up in an hour, he was so excited about finishing his training that he ran out the door to his training spot.

Jirou stood on his spot, moving his chakra around in his hands, while vibrating his chakra in opposite directions, like the poles of a magnet. Then moved the chakra into the kunai in his hands. He felt it link itself to the blade of the kunai, and by moving the chakra back and forth across the blade, he caused some momentum to form. As soon as he felt like there was enough chakra on the kunai to cause some damage, he threw it at the stump. Jirou was surprised to find that his blade moved slightly faster then normal, and when it hit the stump, the sparks hit the stump too, making black burn marks around the kunai. He then went to retrieve his kunai knives, so that he could practice more. He practiced for another hour before he was satisfied that he could cause a good amount of damage with the kunai, even if it didn't actually hit the target. But this wasn't enough, he wanted to be able to charge more then one blade at the same time. So he got ready to charge all four blades at the same time.

He got into position, and laid the four kunai on his palm, with the rings of the kunai on the four fingers of his left hand. He charged his chakra into the blades, while vibrating it just like before and magnetizing it. This took almost a minute to do, because he had to use more chakra. But once he had enough chakra in his kunai, he threw them at the stump. And saw something similar to what he had been doing before, but with less damage caused by each kunai. Jirou had to practice for another hour or so before he was able to throw four electrically charged kunai with the same force as he could with one kunai. Finally he was satisfied with his new technique and was ready to go to bed.
